This paper summarizes the practical of medical integration model in the Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing ward round for a patient with lumbar disc herniation. Based on the review of patient’s clinical data, responsible nurse had reported the case analysis, and doctors had comprehensively analyzed the illness condition of the patient. The key nursing contents were discussed and nursing measures were jointly formulated. Through the integration of medical and nursing rounds, the professional complementarity between medical and nursing can be rebuilt, and a mode consisting of medical treatment, nursing care and patient participation can be achieved. The constipation is a common complication after lumbar surgery. Constipation can be effectively relieved by pharmacologic interventions. However, there are limitations such as drug dependence and adverse effects. The acupoint application therapy based on midnight-noon ebb-flow shows advantages in the treatment of constipation. This paper summarized the current state of acupoint application therapy based on midnight-noon ebb-flow, and provided reference for clinical nursing practice in relief of constipation after lumbar surgery. This paper summarized the nursing practice of a patient with constipation after surgery of thoracic vertebra compression fracture treated by midnight-noon ebb-flow acupiont application combined with Chinese herbal medicine hot compress. Based on the comprehensive nursing assessment, targeted nursing interventions on pain, postoperative constipation, anxiety and potential complications were carried out. In addition, Traditional Chines medicine nursing techniques such as midnight-noon ebb-flow acupiont application combined with Chinese herbal medicine hot compress were conducted to relieve the constipation symptoms and improve the recovery of the patient. This paper summarizes the nursing practice of a patient with abortive form of herpes zoster after opening surgery for lumbar disc herniation. KEY issues of nursing included the management of pain, skin condition, mental states, potential complications and other aspects. Application of multi-system, multi-element, multi-approach integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing model, combined with multi-disciplinary nursing intervention, is effective to relieve the pain and negative emotion, and improve the postoperative rehabilitation. This article summarized the nursing measures for a pediatric patient with spastic cerebral palsy treated by lumbosacral selective posterior rhizotomy. Safety management, psychological care, nutrition care, exercise counseling and preoperative evaluation should be enhanced before operation. Key issues of postoperative nursing included observation of vital signs, maintenance of indwelling catheter, skin care, prevention of complications such as dizziness, headache, nausea and vomiting, guidance on reasonable diet to prevent postoperative abdominal distension and constipation. This paper summarized the nursing of a patient with lumbar compression fracture after percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP) operation. The nursing measures included: pain management, psychological care, safety management, prevention of potential complications, implementation of individualized rapid rehabilitation plan and continuous nursing. The step-by-step rehabilitation plan of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine was designed to relieve the pain, shorten the recovery period, and improve the rehabilitation of spinal function and quality of life after operation. The enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS)has been widely applied in the treatment of rehabilitation of patient with total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The ERAS has been proved to be effective in relieving pain, shortening the length of hospital stay, reducing economic and social healthcare costs. By reviewing literatures, this paper summarized the application of appropriate technology of Traditional Chinese and western medicine based on the concept of ERAS in TKA, and provided reference for improvement of perioperative nursing of TKA. Humanistic care has been considered a core element of high-quality nursing service. This paper summarized the practice of Humanistic nursing with characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the nursing ward rounds of a patient after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Nursing ward rounds with characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine was conducted, and patient’s needs on pain control, relief of anxiety, prevention of compilations and functional exercise were analyzed before implementation of targeted interventions and humanistic care. It may help to improve nurse awareness and practice skills of humanistic nursing with characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the nursing ward rounds. This paper summarized the nursing management for a patient undergoing bilateral knee replacement surgery. The psychological care and postoperative preparation were carried out after nursing evaluation. Individualized rehabilitation plan including prevention of postoperative complications, rehabilitation exercise and regular follow-up was implemented to improve the recovery of the patient.
