This study aims to determine whether Talinum triangulare can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The T. triangulare used in this research were the leaves, stems and roots. Simplicia leaves, stems and roots of T. triangulare were extracted by maceration using 96% ethanol solvent, then filtered and thickened using a rotary evaporator. Testing of T. triangulare against S. aureus and E. coli using the agar well diffusion method. The test solutions used were concentrations of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% as well as positive and negative controls as comparisons. The positive control used amoxicillin while the negative used sterile distilled water. The results of the antibacterial activity test were shown by the formation of a growth inhibition zone (ZHP) for S. aureus and E. coli. Statistical tests using One way ANOVA followed by Post Hoc tests in the form of LSD. Research data shows that leaf extract is the most effective in inhibiting the growth of S. aureus and E. coli compared to roots and stems. The most effective concentration in inhibiting the growth of S. aureus and E. coli bacteria is 100%. The increase in concentration is directly proportional to the extent of the clear zone formed around the well. T. triangulare leaf, stem and root extracts were more effective in inhibiting S. aureus than E. coli.

The transition to renewable energy, specifically solar panels, is increasingly popular. There has been an innovation to place solar panels floating on water. However, floating solar panels (FSP) affect the water quality parameters below them. This study aims to analyze the concentration of water temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) spatially in the area surrounding the FSP in Lake Mahoni, examining the influence of air temperature on water temperature as well as the influence of water temperature on DO and BOD. During three weeks of observations, samples were collected from 9 sampling points around the FSP, once a week in the morning and afternoon. Data processing and analysis were performed using descriptive statistical methods, normality tests, comparative tests, correlation tests, and spatial mapping. The highest results indicate DO, BOD, and temperature changes between the upstream area and below the FSP ranged from -1.77 to 0.48 mg/l, -2.68 to 1.78 mg/l, and -0.50 to 0.60°C, respectively. Conversely, the highest changes from below the FSP to the downstream area ranged from -1.55 to 4.54 mg/l, -1.91 to 3.34 mg/l, and -0.30 to 0.80°C, respectively. Water temperature and DO show patterns below the FSPs area, but no pattern is observed in BOD. A significant positive correlation was found between air and water temperature (ρ=0.945, p=0.005). A significant correlation was observed between water temperature and DO (ρ=0.87, p=0.002) and BOD (ρ=0.803, p=0.009) upstream of the FSP in the afternoon. In contrast, there was no significant influence on water temperature, DO, or BOD in the morning (P>0.05) in the upstream area and below the FSP.

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease whose prevention and control depend on the participation of all community levels. Complex factors including social determinants, such as social capital, influence the prevention and control of DHF by the community. DHF is a neglected disease that commonly occurs in communities with limited resources. Increasing community social capital is among the major strategies to build successful and sustainable control. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the role of social capital in optimizing the implementation and sustainability of DHF prevention and control programs. A systematic literature review was conducted with PRISMA by searching for articles on PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect databases. Articles were selected through several screening stages, and subjected to a quality assessment. A total of 10 articles concluded that social capital could increase the potential prevention and control of DHF in the community. These included six interventional or experimental and four observational studies. The results showed a diversity of social capital in each location, which was consistent with the characteristic condition of the community and capable of affecting DHF control. The role of social capital has been found as a direct target of intervention, a mediator, or segmentation at the individual or community level. Most interventions are targeted at strengthening social capital directly to influence control outcomes, program acceptance, and sustainability. Increasing social capital is essential to addressing the barriers against effective community engagement, enhancing the role of DHF control, and ensuring sustainable participation.

This study examines the Influence of Advertising Stars, Brand Image, and Brand Awareness Against Intention to Buy Honda Vario Motor in Pasuruan. The purpose of this research is to know the direct and indirect correlation between the influence of advertisement star to brand image and brand awareness. The results show that the indirect effect on brand awareness is mediated by brand image. Honda Vario brand image is so strong that it can increase the value contained in the product. Companies must use variables and do different strategies so that their products become more desirable in the market.

Breast cancer is still a worldwide health issue, demanding the development of tailored, low-toxicity medicines. This study looks at the ability of a polyherbal formulation containing Ziziphus mauritiana, Nigella sativa, Phyllanthus niruri, Curcuma longa, and Annona muricata to inhibit the AKT1 and HSPB1 proteins that are involved in cancer growth. Liquid Chromatography-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS) found 23 bioactive chemicals, including 4-Coumaric acid, isovanillic acid, and confertin, exhibiting drug-like properties, membrane permeability, and anticancer bioactivity. Molecular docking demonstrated that these drugs have stable interactions with AKT1, whereas HSPB1 has modest stability. Based on molecular dynamics simulations, the most attractive possibilities were 4-coumaric acid and isovanillic acid, which had consistent binding stability and good energy profiles. Confertin has a lower interaction stability than the other compounds. These findings show that polyherbal substances successfully target essential apoptosis pathways in breast cancer. This work uses a combination of drug-likeness, bioactivity predictions, and computational analytics to identify new bioactive chemicals that might serve as the foundation for alternative breast cancer therapy. Future studies should confirm these findings by doing in vitro and in vivo trials to assess clinical applications. This study investigates a scarce case of the effect of innovation by local government on development performance using district level data in Indonesia. We use the accumulation number of innovations (the quantity side) produced by each district during 2015-2022 period according to the top 99 nominations listed by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureacratic Reform, the Republic of Indonesia. We, alternatively, also use measure of innovation based on "the quality side" by applying regional innovation index. The descriptive results, not surprisingly, show that districts situated in Java and Sumatra Islands have had greater productivity in either collected innovations nomination number or index of regional innovation compared to those situated in Kalimantan and East Region in Indonesia. In this paper, we employ cross-sectional ordinary least squares (OLS) and two-stage least squares (2 S LS) approaches and find positive and significant impact of innovation on each development proxy used (growth in real per capita local GDP and the average of Inclusive Development Economic Index (IDEI)). Implementing the proportion of locals attaining higher education and geographical distance as instruments, our 2SLS estimator also confirms that public-sector innovations play as a positive driving factor on development outcomes. The purpose of the study was to analyse the chemical composition of corn cookies containing different types of sugar and fat, and determine their effect on physiological parameters in diabetic rats. The experimental animals were studied using a randomised block design with seven groups of rats. The test groups were as follows: group 1, negative control rats (normal) fed standard; group 2, positive control rats (diabetic) fed standard; group 3, diabetic rats fed wheat cookies; group 4, diabetic rats fed C1 corn cookies; group 5, diabetic rats fed C2 corn cookies; group 6, diabetic rats fed C3 corn cookies; and group 7, diabetic rats fed C4 corn cookies. The tests on the rats revealed that the cookies had significant effects on blood sugar, malondialdehyde (MDA) and haemoglobin levels as well as body weight parameters. Corn cookies containing crystalline coconut sugar and virgin coconut oil (VCO) were effective at lowering blood sugar and MDA levels while increasing haemoglobin and body weight in diabetic rats. Significantly, after four weeks on this diet, rats with diabetes mellitus were in the same overall condition as normal rats. These findings suggest that these cookies may be gluten-free functional foods suitable for diabetics. These findings suggest that diabetics can safely consume maize cookies.
