4. Solving the Travelling Thief Problem based on Item Selection Weight and Reverse Order Allocation

Abstract

The Travelling Thief Problem (TTP) is a challenging combinatorial optimization problem that attracts many scholars. The TTP interconnects two well-known NP-hard problems: the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) and the 0-1 Knapsack Problem (KP). Increasingly algorithms have been proposed for solving this novel problem that combines two interdependent sub-problems. In this paper, TTP is investigated theoretically and empirically. An algorithm based on the score value calculated by our proposed formulation in picking items and sorting items in the reverse order in the light of the scoring value is proposed to solve the problem. Different approaches for solving the TTP are compared and analyzed; the experimental investigations suggest that our proposed approach is very efficient in meeting or beating current state-of-the-art heuristic solutions on a comprehensive set of benchmark TTP instances.

Abstract

Combining the anomalies and environmental monitoring data of the early stage Beidou satellites, the space radiation environment spatial/temporal distribution and space radiation effect risk characteristics are analyzed, and the dynamic characteristics of space environmental factors, such as hot plasma, high-energy electron and solar proton are summarized. The systematic joint monitoring for surface charging, internal charging, single event effect and total dose effect with corresponding space environment factors is proposed. The detector types, measurement parameters range and engineering constraints are allocated, and the engineering application and scientific research of detection data are prospected.

Abstract

In the time-frequency analysis of the echoes from targets with composite micro-motions, there is a problem that the energy of time-frequency strip is difficult to focus, which affects the extraction and analysis of the target's micro-Doppler feature. To solve this problem, this paper proposes the concept of time-frequency harmonic stripes and corresponding time-frequency transformation methods. Based on the assumption that the composite micro-motions include central motion components and high-frequency motion components, firstly, spline function is used to fit the frequency curve of the central motion component, and therefore construct the time-frequency transform kernel is constructed. Then, parameterized time-frequency transform is used to convert the composite micro-Doppler signal in the time domain to harmonic stripes on the time-frequency plane. Compared with traditional methods such as short-time Fourier transform and pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution, the proposed method can significantly improve the energy aggregation and spur suppression of time-frequency transform of radar echoes from composite micro-motion targets. Abstract

Black phosphorus nanomaterials (BPN) have been well developed in tumor therapy. However, lack of diagnostic function limits the development of BPN in biomedicine. Lanthanide-doped nanoparticles are considered as versatile materials for fluorescence or magnetic resonance imaging. Integration of BPN with lanthanide-doped nanoparticles was rarely reported owing to the complex synthesis processes and poor modification effect. Herein, we report a simple and general method for synthesizing BPN@NaReF4 (Re: Gd or Y, Yb, Er) nanocomposite. TEM and XRD characterization confirm efficient combination of BPN and NaGdF4 or NaYF4:Yb,Er (18.2 mol %) after one-step mixing. The FTIR and XPS spectra were used to prove the generation of PO43−-Gd and P-Gd coordination bonds and clarify ligand exchange mechanism. The anchored nanoparticles on BPN were stable and become hydrophilic. The prepared BPN@NaGdF4 exhibit the signals of photoacoustic and magnetic resonance imaging. The obtained BPN@NaYF4:Yb,Er (18.2 mol %) have the potential in fluorescence bioimaging. We believe that this work will expand the applications of BPN in diagnosis and therapy together. Abstract

With the development of high-repetition rate laser ranging, huge amount of laser ranging data are generated. DeepLabCut is a novel automatic annotation method for markerless motion capture from big data. With the advantage of only small size of training dataset needed, it has been successfully applied to various research fields. However, few researches can be found related to data processing for satellite laser ranging using DeepLabCut method. In this paper, different satellite laser ranging data are simulated by two polynomials according to the characteristics of echoes and noise. Secondly, two extraction strategies of time-drift and global-uniform are proposed for key points extraction to generate training datasets as ground truth. And two training datasets including 50 key points from 10 frames and 5 frames are generated, respectively. Then, deep neural networks are trained using DeepLabCut based on the training datasets. Finally, satellite laser ranging data as videos are tested with the trained neural networks. Results show that the key points suffered from drift and mismatching without uniform distribution, which indicates that DeepLabCut is not an applicable method based on the two proposed extraction strategies for satellite laser ranging data processing. Possible reasons including image textures, indiscrimination of echoes and noise are concluded. The simulation analysis in this paper is useful for deciding whether to apply DeepLabCut to process satellite laser ranging data.

46. An ACO-Based Clustering Algorithm With Chaotic Function Mapping

Abstract

To overcome shortcomings when the ant colony optimization clustering algorithm (ACOC) deal with the clustering problem, this paper introduces a novel ant colony optimization clustering algorithm with chaos. The main idea of the algorithm is to apply the chaotic mapping function in the two stages of ant colony optimization: pheromone initialization and pheromone update. The application of chaotic mapping function in the pheromone initialization phase can encourage ants to be distributed in as many different initial states as possible. Applying the chaotic mapping function in the pheromone update stage can add disturbance factors to the algorithm, prompting the ants to explore new paths more, avoiding premature convergence and premature convergence to suboptimal solutions. Extensive experiments on the traditional and proposed algorithms on four widely used benchmarks are conducted to investigate the performance of the new algorithm. These experiments results demonstrate the competitive efficiency, effectiveness, and stability of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract

Optical tracking of small and weak targets in space, has problems such as a large and unknown number of targets, dense clutter, close measurement of neighboring targets, and false detection and missed detection. In this paper, a Gaussian mixture cardinalized probability hypothesis density (GM-CPHD) filtering algorithm assisted by luminance information is proposed. By establishing the luminance likelihood function, the luminance information is introduced into the CPHD filtering process, and the Gaussian mixture implementation method is given. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can effectively adapt to the dense clutter environment, and compared with the traditional GM-CPHD filtering algorithm, its tracking accuracy for multiple targets is significantly improved.
