Abstract

With the rapid development of deep learning technology, deep learning models have been widely used in many fields such as image classification and speech recognition.Training a deep learning model relies on a large amount of data and computing power, thus selling the trained model or providing specific services (DLaaS, e.g.) has become a new business.However, the commercial interests of model trainers and the intellectual property rights of model developers may be violated if the model is maliciously stolen.With deep neural network watermarking becoming a new research topic, multimedia copyright protection techniques were used for deep learning model protection.Numerous methods have been proposed in this field and then a comprehensive survey is needed.the existing deep neural network watermarking methods were elaborated and summarized and the future research directions of this field were discussed.The overall framework of neural network watermarking was presented, whereby the basic concepts such as classification model and model backdoor were introduced.Secondly, the existing methods were divided into two types according to the mechanism of watermark embedding, one is to embed the watermark bits into the carrier of internal information of the network, and the other one uses the established backdoor mapping as the watermark.These two existing deep neural network watermarking methods were analyzed and summarized, and attacks to the watermarks were also introduced and discussed.By analyzing the white-box and black-box conditions in watermarking scenario, it comes to the conclusion that the model is difficult to be effectively protected when it is distributed in the white-box manner, and the neural network watermark defenses in the black-box distribution and black-box verification are both worthy for further research.

Abstract

In order to analyze the effect of different thickness of C60 on optical and electrical properties of top-emitting OLED, in experiment, the transmittance of ETL/EIL/Mg:Ag/matching layers were numerically calculated and two top OLED with common cathode configurations were fabricated. The optical and electrical properties of OLED devices prepared with different thickness of C60 refractive index matching layers were analyzed. The results showed, the complex films with different C60 thickness have different transmittance, the complex films have high transmittance in wide range of wavelengths when C60 film thickness is 30~40 nm, the CIEx and CIEy values of transmittance spectra are extremely near to the equal energy (0.33, 0.33). In addition, it can be found that the electroluminescence spectra and the chromaticity coordinates of OLED devices are also heavily related to the thickness of C60 refractive index matching layers, which is consistent with the numerical results of transmission spectrum of multilayer (ETL/EIL/Mg:Ag/C60) at different thickness of C60 thin films and indicate that the luminous brightness and the color coordinates of top-emitting white light devices can be adjusted by different thickness of C60 refractive index matching layer to achieve white light emission close to equal energy.

45. Biopharmaceutical and Pharmacokinetic Activities of Oxymatrine Determined by a Sensitive UHPLC-MS/MS Method

Abstract

Background: Oxymatrine is known as one of the most promising alkaloids from Sophora flavescens for its excellent pharmacological effects. Objective: The aim of this research is to assess the biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic activities of oxymatrine and clarify its mechanisms of absorption and metabolism. Methods: The biological characteristics of oxymatrine were systematically investigated by UHPLC-MS/MS. The mechanisms of absorption and metabolism of oxymatrine were further clarified through incubation in rat liver microsomes and transport across the Caco-2 monolayer cell absorption model. Results: It was found that the absolute oral bioavailability of oxymatrine was 26.43%, and the pharmacokinetic parameters Cmax, Tmax, and t1/2 were 605.5 ng/mL, 0.75 h, and 4.181 h after oral administration, indicating that oxymatrine can be absorbed quickly. The tissue distribution tests showed that oxymatrine distributed throughout all the organs, with the small intestine accumulating the highest level, followed by the kidney, stomach, and spleen. The Papp in Caco-2 cell line absorption model was over 1 × 10-5 and PDR 1.064, and t1/2 of oxymatrine in rat liver microsome in vitro was 1.042 h, indicating that oxymatrine can be absorbed easily through passive diffusion and CYP450 enzymes could be involved in its metabolism. The plasma protein binding rate of oxymatrine was 2.78 ± 0.85%. Conclusion: Oxymatrine can be absorbed into blood easily through passive diffusion, mainly distributed in the intestine, stomach, liver, and spleen in vivo, and CYP450 enzymes in the liver could be involved in its metabolism.

Abstract

C-type lectin (CTL) is an immune receptor and is received extensive attention of its important roles in immune response and immune escape. Some CTL, such as CTL4, has been well characterized in human and several other mammals, but much less documentation exists about the immunological function of CTL4 in lower vertebrates. In the present study, a C-type lectin domain family 4 member, SsCTL4, which is also high homology with CD209 antigen-like protein, from the teleost fish black rockfish (Sebastes schlegelii) was identified and examined at expression and functional levels. The open reading frame of SsCTL4 is 765 bp, and the deduced amino acid sequence of SsCTL4 shares 78%-84% overall identities with the C-type lectin of several fish species. In silico analysis identified several conserved C-type lectin features, including a carbohydrate-recognition domain and four disulfide bond-forming cysteine residues. Expression of SsCTL4 occurred in multiple tissues and was upregulated during bacterial and viral infection. Recombinant SsCTL4 (rSsCTL4) exhibited apparent binding activities against bacteria (Edwardsiella tarda and Vibrio anguillarum) and virus (infectious spleen and kidney necrosis virus, ISKNV). rSsCTL4 was able to agglutinate the Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria in a Ca2+-dependent manner. The agglutinating ability of rSsCTL4 was abolished in the absence of calcium or presence of mannose. rSsCTL4 also increased macrophage bactericidal activity. In the presence of rSsCTL4, fish exhibited enhanced resistance against bacterial infection but increased susceptibility to viral infections. Collectively, these results indicate that SsCTL4 serves as a pattern recognition receptor that not only promotes bactericidal activity, but may also serve as targets for virus manipulation of host defense system.
