[Purpose/Significance] Citizenization of migrant population is the core issue of urbanization, and social integration is a necessary stage in the process of citizenization. It is important to demonstrate the modernization of urban governance system and capacity by the degree of social integration of migrant population, and as a part of public cultural service system, public libraries should play their due roles in promoting social integration. [Method/Process] From the perspective of migrant population, this paper analyzes the multiple demands of migrant population in the process of social integration, and regards public libraries as having three functions in the process of social integration, providing social support to enhance the employment competitiveness of migrant population, and satisfying part of the demands for urban basic public services, and the psychological and spiritual demands. [Results/Conclusions] In order to improve urban governance system and capacity, this paper proposes to improve the current public library service system beneficial to the social integration based on the three dimensions of equality, accessibility and service coverage.

The electrolyte, a key component for the successful operation of energy materials, is greatly affected by its solvents. The influence of solvents on the electrochemical performance of a LiFePO4/C composite cathode was investigated at various operating temperatures. The reaction kinetics of the LiFePO4/C composite electrode, including changes of rate capability, redox potential, polarization degree, electrode reaction process, exchange current densities, and activation energies, were evaluated using various techniques. The composition and volume ratio of solvents greatly affect the electrode kinetics. In the mixed solvents of ethylene carbonate (EC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC), EMC is beneficial for the room temperature performance, while the substitution of 20 vol % of EMC by ethyl acetate (EA) is good for the low temperature performance. When 30 vol % of DMC is substituted by 10 vol % of EMC and 20 vol % of EA, the exchange current density increases from 0.022 to 0.038 mA cm−2 at −20 °C, while the activation energy of the charge-transfer process decreases from 48.36 to 33.01 kJ mol−1. Possible mechanisms for improving the electrochemical performance using different solvents have been analyzed. These results are significant for the exploration of appropriate electrolytes for the extensive applications of LiFePO4/C composite electrodes.

A bio‐based nanocomposite optical film was obtained through a simple sol‐gel process and solution casting. The dispersion effect of cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) gel and the optical properties, mechanical performance and thermal stability of CNC‐doped cellulose triacetate (TAC) films (TAC−X) were systematically evaluated. The results show that CNCs can be well dispersed in hydrophobic organic solvents and TAC matrices through the sol‐gel process. TAC−X film has excellent optical properties, its light transmittance is above 92 %, its haze value and birefringence are low, ranging from 0.21±0.01 % to 0.38±0.02 %, and (1.64±0.26)×10−6 to (2.49±0.50)×10−6 respectively. When doped with 2 wt % CNCs, the tensile strength and Young's modulus of the TAC‐2 film were 33.0 % and 30.1 % higher than those of the pure TAC film, separately. At the same time, the TAC−X film also maintains good thermal stability, with its glass transition temperature and maximum decomposition temperature falling between 215–216 °C and 366–368 °C respectively. The simple sol‐gel process provides a convenient and efficient way to use CNCs doping to enhance the physical and mechanical properties of TAC optical films. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs) have garnered significant attention due to their potential to provide high energy density, utilize earth‐abundant raw materials, and employ metal anode safely. Currently, the lack of applicable cathode materials has become one of the bottleneck issues for fully exploiting the technological advantages of RMBs. Recent studies on Mg cathodes reveal divergent storage performance depending on the electrolyte formulation, posing interfacial issues as a previously overlooked challenge. This minireview begins with an introduction of representative cathode‐electrolyte interfacial phenomena in RMBs, elaborating on the unique solvation behavior of Mg2+, which lays the foundation for interfacial chemistries. It is followed by presenting recently developed strategies targeting the promotion of Mg2+ desolvation in the electrolyte and alternative cointercalation approaches to circumvent the desolvation step. In addition, efforts to enhance the cathode‐electrolyte compatibility via electrolyte development and interfacial engineering are highlighted. Based on the abovementioned discussions, this minireview finally puts forward perspectives and challenges on the establishment of a stable interface and fast interfacial chemistry for RMBs.
