The Weilasituo Li–polymetallic deposit, located on the western slope of the southern Great Xing'an Range in the eastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt, is hosted by quartz porphyry with crypto-explosive breccia-type Li mineralisation atop and vein-type Sn-Mo-W-Zn polymetallic mineralisation throughout the breccia pipe. This study introduces new data on multistage quartz and mica in situ trace elements; the study was conducted using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and 40Ar/39Ar dating of zinnwaldite to delineate the metallogenic age and genesis of Li mineralisation. Zinnwaldite yields a plateau age of 132.45 ± 1.3 Ma (MSWD = 0.77), representing Early Cretaceous Li mineralisation. Throughout the magmatic–hydrothermal process, quartz trace elements showed Ge enrichment. Li, Al, and Ti contents decreased, with Al/Ti and Ge/Ti ratios increasing, indicating increased magmatic differentiation, slight acidification, and cooling. Mica's rising Li, Rb, Cs, Mg, and Ti contents and Nb/Ta ratio, alongside its falling K/Rb ratio, indicate the magma's ongoing crystallisation differentiation. Fractional crystallisation primarily enriched Li, Rb, and Cs in the late melt. Mica's high Sc, V, and W contents indicate a high fO2 setting, with a slightly lower fO2 during zinnwaldite formation. Greisenisation observed Zn, Mg, and Fe influx from the host rock, broadening zinnwaldite distribution and forming minor Zn vein orebodies later. Late-stage fluorite precipitation highlights a rise in F levels, with fluid Sn and W levels tied to magma evolution and F content. In summary, the Weilasituo Li–polymetallic deposit was formed in an Early Cretaceous extensional environment and is closely related to a nearby highly differentiated Li-F granite. During magma differentiation, rare metal elements such as Li and Rb were enriched in residual melts. The decrease in temperature and the acidic environment led to the precipitation of Li-, Rb-, and W-bearing minerals, and the increased F content in the late stage led to Sn enrichment and mineralisation. Polyacrylic acid (PAA), an organic chemical, has been used as an intermediate in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. It has been suggested recently that PAA has a high pulmonary inflammatory and fibrotic potential. Although endoplasmic reticulum stress is induced by various external and intracellular stimuli, there have been no reports examining the relationship between PAA-induced lung injury and endoplasmic reticulum stress. F344 rats were intratracheally instilled with dispersed PAA (molecular weight: 269,000) at low (0.5 mg/mL) and high (2.5 mg/mL) doses, and they were sacrificed at 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months after exposure. PAA caused extensive inflammation and fibrotic changes in the lungs' histopathology over a month following instillation. Compared to the control group, the mRNA levels of endoplasmic reticulum stress markers Bip and Chop in BALF were significantly increased in the exposure group. In fluorescent immunostaining, both Bip and Chop exhibited co-localization with macrophages. Intratracheal instillation of PAA induced neutrophil inflammation and fibrosis in the rat lung, suggesting that PAA with molecular weight 269,000 may lead to pulmonary disorder. Study on the petrology, LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating and whole rock geochemistry of the trachyandesite in Wufeng area of Yanbian, Jilin Province in Northeast China, shows that the SiO2 content is 58.33%-61.36%, K2O content 1.61%-3.28% and total alkali content 6.77%-10%, belonging to the medium potassium-high potassium calc-alkaline series. The weighted mean age of magmatic zircon 206Pb/238U is 175.52±2.7 Ma, which is consistent with the subduction time of Early Jurassic paleo-Pacific plate. The trachyandesite is characterized by relative enrichment of LILEs(K, Ba and Rb) and strongly incompatible elements (Th and U), and depletion of HFSEs (Nb, Ta and Ti), with high LREE/HREE ratio, and enriched LREEs and depleted HREEs, indicating that the magma may originate from the partial melting of mantle and its source area is metasomatized by the subducted shell source materials. From the above, it is believed that the trachyandesite was formed in the active continental margin of oceanic subduction system and was the magmatic response to the subduction of Early Jurassic paleo-Pacific plate. The Huaduoshan Cu–Mo prospect is in the Duobaoshan orefield, northeast China. The Cu–Mo mineralization occurs in the granodiorites as veinlet-disseminated. The ore-forming process can be divided into four mineralization stages: (I) quartz–pyrite–magnetite; (II) quartz–pyrite–chalcopyrite ± molybdenite; (III) quartz–pyrite–molybdenite–chalcopyrite–sphalerite; and (IV) quartz–calcite–minor pyrite. Liquid-rich two-phase aqueous (L-type), vapour-rich aqueous (V-type) and daughter-minerals three-phase (S-type) fluid inclusions (FIs) were identified at Huaduoshan. The last two types of FIs are absent in stages III and IV. The homogenization temperatures of FIs from stages I to IV are 375–438, 335–378, 283–335, and 223–267 ℃, with corresponding salinities of 2.4–50.4, 2.1–44.9, 2.7–10.1, and 1.7–7.3 wt. % NaCl eqv., respectively. The H–O isotope data of quartz in stages I (δ18OH2O = 6.1–8.0‰, δDH2O = −102.4–−94.6‰) show a magmatic origin of ore-forming fluid; the decreasing δ18OH2O (−6.8–3.2‰) and δDH2O (−117.1–−98.5‰) values of quartz in stage II–IV show the fluid mixing with meteoric water. The S–Pb isotopic values (δ34S = −2.7–0.8; 206Pb/204Pb = 18.236–18.599; 207Pb/204 Pb = 15.504–15.557; 208Pb/204Pb = 37.816–38.629) of pyrites indicate that the ore-forming materials are of magmatic origin. Fluid boiling and mixing may be the major mechanisms of ore precipitation. Zircon U–Pb age (172.1 ± 0.5 Ma) and geochemical data indicate that the ore-related granodiorites are I-type rocks formed in the subduction setting of the Paleo-Pacific Ocean Plate in the Early–Middle Jurassic. The Changlingzi Pb-Zn deposit is located in the southern Great Xing'an Range metallogenic belt of Northeast China. This deposit experienced two types of mineralization including skarn (ore block I) and hydrothermal vein (ore block II), and their orebodies are hosted mainly in the Lower Permian Zhesi Formation. The hydrothermal mineralization is classified into two metallogenic periods: skarn (stage 1) and sulfide (stages 2, 3, and 4). The skarn period affected only the ore block I, whereas the sulfide period similarly affected the two ore blocks. Fluid inclusion studies indicate that the ore-forming fluids during the early stage were medium- to high-temperature, high-salinity heterogeneous NaCl-[H.sub.2]O fluids, and that they eventually evolved to low-temperature, low-salinity homogeneous NaCl-[H.sub.2]O fluids by late stage. Studies of the hydrogen and oxygen isotope compositions ([[delta].sup.18][O.sub.H2O] = -13.85[per thousand] to 3.95[per thousand], [delta][D.sub.H2O] = -132.8[per thousand] to -102.7[per thousand]) show that the ore-forming fluids gradually evolved from magmatic water to meteoric water. Sulfur and lead date suggest that the ore-forming materials were probably derived from deep magma and the Permian strata. Although our data show that ore blocks I and II, in terms of genesis, were skarn- and medium-to low-temperature hydrothermal vein-types, respectively, the ore-forming fluids of both ore blocks were the same period, and the differences in mineralization type can be related to the wall rocks.Le gisement de Pb-Zn de Changlingzi est situe dans la partie meridionale de la ceinture metallogenique de la chaine du Grand Khingan du nord-est de la Chine. A wide variety of deposit types formed in the late Palaeozoic-Mesozoic of eastern NE China and adjacent Russian Far East of the eastern Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB). However, outstanding questions remain on the (1) number of magmatic and metallogenic phases, and their respective space–time distribution; (2) geochemical (incl. isotopic) signature and fertility of each magmatic phase; and (3) tectonic link with these magmato-metallogenic events. We present new data (zircon U-Pb dating, geochemistry, and Sr-Nd isotopes) on the Yangjingou W and Xiaoxi'nancha Au-Cu deposits, and compile published data from major ore deposits in the region. We have newly summarized four magmato-mineralization phases: (1) Middle Permian (ca. 273–259 Ma) Cu-Au-Pb-Zn, (2) Latest Permian-Early Triassic (ca. 253–247 Ma) W-Cu-Mo-Au, (3) Earliest-Middle Jurassic (ca. 201–162 Ma) Mo-Au-Fe-W-Pb-Zn, and (4) Cretaceous (ca. 129–83 Ma) W-Sn-Mo-Cu-Au mineralization. Cretaceous ore-causative granitoids are mainly I-type arc-related, whereas those for the three older mineralization phases are largely adakite-like or adakite-normal arc transitional. These granitoids were mostly derived from partial melting of juvenile crust, and to a lesser extent from a mixture of juvenile and ancient crust. We propose that the Middle Permian subduction of the Paleo-Asian and Panthalassa oceans formed the Au/Cu-Pb-Zn skarn and cryptoexplosive breccia-hosted Pb-Zn ± Ag deposits. Subsequently, the latest Permian-Early Triassic Paleo-Asian Ocean closure likely formed the porphyry-skarn Cu-Mo, orogenic Au, and vein-type W deposits in the Songliao and eastern Liaoyuan terranes. In the Early-Middle Jurassic, Paleo-Pacific subduction may have formed the Jiapigou orogenic Au belt and the Fe-polymetallic skarn deposits in the northern Songliao terrane, as well as porphyry Mo deposits along the Mudanjiang fault. Subsequently, Cretaceous W-Sn-Au-Cu metallogeny was controlled by Paleo-Pacific subduction rollback, and in the Russia Far East by partial melting of redox accretionary complexes.
