Rationale and objectives: The study aimed to investigate whether dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI parameters and preoperative radiological features (DCER-Features) add value to the clinicopathologic model for predicting metachronous metastases in rectal cancer patients. Materials and methods: From January 2014 to December 2020, 859 patients in the PACS system were retrospectively screened. Of the initial 722 patients with surgically confirmed rectal cancer and no synchronous metastases, 579 patients were excluded for various reasons such as lack of clinicopathological or radiological information. 143 patients were finally included in this study. And 73 Patients of them developed metachronous metastasis within five years. After stepwise multiple regression analyses, we constructed three distinct models. Model 1 was developed solely based on clinicopathological factors, and model 2 incorporated clinicopathological characteristics along with DCE-MRI parameters. Finally, model 3 was built on all available factors, including clinicopathological characteristics, DCE-MRI parameters, and radiological features based on rectal magnetic resonance imaging. The radiological features assessed in this study encompass tumor imaging staging, location, and circumferential resection margin (CRM) for primary tumors, as well as the number of visible lymph nodes and suspected metastatic lymph nodes. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) and decision curve analysis (DCA) were conducted to evaluate whether the diagnostic efficiency was improved. Results: The performance of model 3 (including clinicopathologic characteristics and DCER-Features) was the best (AUC: 0.856, 95% CI 0.778–0.886), whereas it was 0.796 (95% CI 0.720–0.828) for model 2 and 0.709 (95% CI 0.612–0.778) for model 1 (DeLong test: model 1 vs model 2, p = 0.004; model 2 vs model 3, p = 0.037; model 1 vs model 3, p < 0.001). The decision curves indicated that the net benefit of model 3 was higher than the other two models at each referral threshold. The calibration plot of the three models revealed an excellent predictive accuracy. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most extensive and most deadly cancers in the world. Biomarkers for early diagnosis of HCC are still lacking, and noninvasive and effective biomarkers are urgently needed. Metabolomics is committed to studying the changes of metabolites under stimulation, and provides a new approach for discovery of potential biomarkers. In the current work, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) metabolomics approach was utilized to explore the potential biomarkers in HCC progression, and the biomarker panel was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses. Our results revealed that a biomarker panel consisting of hippurate, creatinine, putrescine, choline, and taurine might be involved in HCC progression. Functional pathway analysis showed that taurine and hypotaurine metabolism is markedly involved in the occurrence and development of HCC. Furthermore, our results indicated that the TPA activity and the level and expression of PKM2 were gradually increased in HCC progression. The efficacy and safety of his-purkinje system pacing (HPSP) upgrades in patients with pacing-induced cardiomyopathy (PICM) and atrial fibrillation (AF) are still unknown. Patients with PICM were continuously enrolled from January 2018 to March 2020. All patients were further divided into AF subgroup and sinus rhythm subgroup. Clinical data including echocardiographic examination parameters, electrocardiogram (ECG) measurements, and New York Heart Association (NYHA) classification, were assessed before and after the procedure. The HPSP upgrades, including his bundle pacing (HBP) and left bundle branch pacing (LBBP) were completed in 34 of 36 (94%) patients, Complications including electrode dislodged, perforation, infection or thrombosis were not observed in the perioperative period. During a mean of 11.52 ± 5.40 months of follow-up. The left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) increased significantly (33.76 ± 7.54 vs 40.41 ± 9.06, P < 0.001), and the QRS duration decreased (184.22 ± 23.76 ms vs 120.52 ± 16.67 ms, P < 0.001) after the upgrades. LVEDD reversed from 59.29 ± 7.74 mm to 53.91 ± 5.92 mm (P < 0.001), and the NYHA functional class also improved to 2.00 ± 0.76 from 2.55 ± 0.91 at the first follow-up (P < 0.001). The left atrium (LA) size also slightly decreased compared to the initial state (47.44 ± 7.14 mm VS 45.56 ± 7.78, P = 0.010). BNP significantly decreased from a median value of 458.06(256.35–755.10) to 172.31(92.69–552.14) (P = 0.004). The threshold did not increase significantly (1.18 ± 0.76 mv@0.4 ms vs 1.26 ± 0.91mv @ 0.4 ms, P = 0.581). These improvements in patients with AF were similar with those in patients without AF (P > 0.05). HPSP upgrades improved the heart performance and reversed the left ventricular remodeling in patients suffering from PICM with or without AF, and it should be a promising choice in these patients. • His-purkinje system pacing upgrade could remain its efficacy in patients with picm even though after long-term right ventricualr pacing. • No matter whether accompany with atrial fibrillation, PICM patients could definitely benefit from His-purkinje system pacing upgrade. • The distal His-purkinje system pacing could provided favorable sensed R wave, stable capture threshold during our follow up period, even after long-term right ventricular pacing. Baicalein is a flavonoid isolated from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. This study aimed to ascertain the effects and potential underlying mechanisms of baicalein in d-galactose (d-gal)-induced aging rat model by integration of behavior examination, biochemical detection, and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)-based metabolomic approach. Our findings suggest that baicalein significantly attenuated memory decline in d-gal-induced aging model, as manifested by increasing recognition index in novel object recognition test, shortening latency time, and increasing platform crossings in Morris water maze test. Baicalein significantly inhibited the releases of inflammatory mediators such as nitric oxide, interleukin-6, interleukin-1 beta, and tumor necrosis factor-α in d-gal-induced aging model. Metabolomic study revealed that 10 endogenous metabolites in cerebral cortex were considered as potential biomarkers of baicalein for its protective effect. Further metabolic pathway analysis showed that the metabolic alterations were associated with alanine, aspartate and glutamate metabolism, glycine, serine and threonine metabolism, inositol phosphate metabolism, and energy metabolism. These data indicate that baicalein improves learning and memory dysfunction in d-gal-induced aging rats. This might be achieved through attenuation of inflammation and metabolic dysfunction. In this work, the combined electronic structure calculations (OM2/MRCI and MS-CASPT2//CASSCF) and Tully's fewest-switches surface hopping dynamics simulations (OM2/MRCI) have been conducted to investigate the photoinduced ring-opening, relaxation, and subsequent isomerization of spirooxazine. The OM2/MRCI and MS-CASPT2//CASSCF methods share very similar structures of S 0 and S 1 minima and S 1 /S 0 conical intersections, and also provide comparable relative energies at the same time. The relevant reaction paths indicate that two bonded conical intersections and two unbonded ones will play very important roles in the nonadiabatic transitions. In addition, the S 1 state nonadiabatic dynamics simulations reveal two effective and competitive S 1 → S 0 decay pathways via the bonded and unbonded conical intersections. And the C–O bond dissociation could take place either in the S 1 state before hopping or in the S 0 state after nonadiabatic transitions, which will finally generate three types of ground-state products, i.e. the closed-loop spirooxazine, a variety of merocyanine intermediates, and a small amount of hydrogen-transferred merocyanine isomers. Besides, the out-of-plane hydrogen (HOOP) oscillations could be an efficient and ultrafast inactivation channel for the excited-state relaxation processes. Compound Kushen Injection (CKI) is a widely used TCM formula for treatment of carcinomatous pain and tumors of digestive system including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the potential mechanisms of CKI for treatment of HCC have not been systematically and deeply studied. A metabolic data-driven systems pharmacology approach was utilized to investigate the potential mechanisms of CKI for treatment of HCC. Based on phenotypic data generated by metabolomics and genotypic data of drug targets, a propagation model based on Dijkstra program was proposed to decode the effective network of key genotype-phenotype of CKI in treating HCC. The pivotal pathway was predicted by target propagation mode of our proposed model, and was validated in SMMC-7721 cells and diethylnitrosamine-induced rats. Metabolomics results indicated that 12 differential metabolites, and 5 metabolic pathways might be involved in the anti-HCC effect of CKI. A total of 86 metabolic related genes that affected by CKI were obtained. The results calculated by propagation model showed that 6475 shortest distance chains might be involved in the anti-HCC effect of CKI. According to the results of propagation mode, EGFR was identified as the core target of CKI for the anti-HCC effect. Finally, EGFR and its related pathway EGFR-STAT3 signaling pathway were validated in vivo and in vitro. Objectives: Colitis is a global disease usually accompanied by intestinal epithelial damage and intestinal inflammation, and an increasing number of studies have found natural products to be highly effective in treating colitis. Anemoside B4 (AB4), an abundant saponin isolated from Pulsatilla chinensis (Bunge), which was found to have strong anti-inflammatory activity. However, the exact molecular mechanisms and direct targets of AB4 in the treatment of colitis remain to be discovered. Methods: The anti-inflammatory activities of AB4 were verified in LPS-induced cell models and 2, 4, 6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic (TNBS) or dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis mice and rat models. The molecular target of AB4 was identified by affinity chromatography analysis using chemical probes derived from AB4. Experiments including proteomics, molecular docking, biotin pull-down, surface plasmon resonance (SPR), and cellular thermal shift assay (CETSA) were used to confirm the binding of AB4 to its molecular target. Overexpression of pyruvate carboxylase (PC) and PC agonist were used to study the effects of PC on the anti-inflammatory and metabolic regulation of AB4 in vitro and in vivo. Results: AB4 not only significantly inhibited LPS-induced NF-κB activation and increased ROS levels in THP-1 cells, but also suppressed TNBS/DSS-induced colonic inflammation in mice and rats. The molecular target of AB4 was identified as PC, a key enzyme related to fatty acid, amino acid and tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. We next demonstrated that AB4 specifically bound to the His879 site of PC and altered the protein's spatial conformation, thereby affecting the enzymatic activity of PC. LPS activated NF-κB pathway and increased PC activity, which caused metabolic reprogramming, while AB4 reversed this phenomenon by inhibiting the PC activity. In vivo studies showed that diisopropylamine dichloroacetate (DADA), a PC agonist, eliminated the therapeutic effects of AB4 by changing the metabolic rearrangement of intestinal tissues in colitis mice. Conclusion: We identified PC as a direct cellular target of AB4 in the modulation of inflammation, especially colitis. Moreover, PC/pyruvate metabolism/NF-κB is crucial for LPS-driven inflammation and oxidative stress. Xiongdanjiuxin pill (XP) is a traditional Chinese medicine formula for the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia (HLP) and related complications. In this study, the gut-liver axis was used as the breakthrough point to analyze the therapeutic effect and potential mechanism of XP on HLP model rats and related complications. We used high-fat diet (HFD) to establish the HLP model of rats and treated them with XP. The 16S rRNA sequencing method was used to explore the effect of XP on the gut microbiota of HFD rats, and the effects of XP on ileum pathology, intestinal barrier and circulatory inflammation in HFD rats were also investigated. We further explored the molecular mechanism of XP treating liver inflammation in rats with HFD by regulating toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling. We found that XP could regulate the imbalance of gut microbiota in HFD rats, and up-regulate the expression of tight junction protein in intestinal epithelium of HFD rats, thereby improving the intestinal barrier damage and intestinal inflammatory response. In addition, XP could significantly reduce the levels of inflammatory cytokines in HFD rats, and inhibit TLR4 signaling pathway, thereby reducing liver inflammation in HFD rats. XP can effectively improve the imbalance of gut-liver axis in hyperlipidemic rats and alleviate the inflammatory damage of liver. Its mechanism may be related to regulating the disorder of gut microbiota and inhibiting TLR4 signal pathway, so as to achieve the therapeutic effect on hyperlipidemic fatty liver in rats. Background: Spinal cord injury (SCI), which causes loss of sensory and motor function in the body below the level of injury, is a devastating disease of the central nervous system. SCI leads to severe secondary immunosuppression, called SCI-induced immunodeficiency syndrome (SCI-IDS), which is characterized by increased susceptibility to infection and further exacerbates neurological dysfunction. Several studies have suggested that SCI-IDS is an independent risk factor for poor neurological prognosis. SCI-IDS predominantly occurs following injury above the T5 levels and eventually leads to systemic immune failure, possibly via the sympathetic–adrenal medullary axis and the hypothalamic‒pituitary‒adrenal (HPA) axis. However, the mechanism remains unclear. Methods and objectives: The concentrations of adrenocorticotropic hormone and cortisol in plasma, as well as changes in sympathetic activity (blood pressure and catecholamine levels in plasma), were assessed in rats in the high-level (T3) spinal cord injury (T3-SCI) group and the low-level (T10) spinal cord injury (T10-SCI) group. Second, the differential regulation of the gene network between the sympathetic–adrenal medullary axis and the HPA axis was explored by histology and multitissue transcriptomics, and the neuroendocrine–immune network associated with SCI-IDS was further elucidated. Results: The spleen and thymus gland, which are secondary immune organs, were significantly atrophied in rats in the T3-SCI group, and the white pulp of the spleen was significantly atrophied. The level of cortisol, which is mediated by the adrenal glands, was markedly elevated, but norepinephrine levels were markedly decreased. There was no difference in adrenocorticotropic hormone expression between any of the groups. The transcriptome analysis results showed that the downregulated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the T3-SCI group were enriched in the GO term immunoregulation, indicating that splenic immune function was markedly impaired after high-level SCI. The upregulated DEGs in the hypothalamus (hub genes: Nod2, Serpine1, Cebpb, Nfkbil1, Ripk2, Zfp36, Traf6, Akap8, Gfer, Cxcl10, Tnfaip3, Icam1, Fcgr2b, Ager, Dusp10, and Mapkapk2) were significantly enriched in inflammatory pathways, and the downregulated genes (hub genes: Grm4, Nmu, P2ry12, rt1-bb1, Oprm1, Zfhx2, Gpr83, and Chrm2) were enriched in pathways related to inhibitory Gi-mediated G protein-coupled receptor (Gi-GPCR) neurons and neuropeptide changes. The upregulated genes in the adrenal glands (hub genes: Ciart, per2, per3, cry1, and cry2) were enriched in cortisol secretion and circadian rhythm changes, and the downregulated genes (hub genes: IL7r, rt1-bb, rt1-bb1, rt1-da, rt1-ba, cd74, cxcr3, vcam1, ccl5, bin1, and IL8) were significantly enriched in MHC-mediated immune responses. Conclusions: To explore the possible mechanism underlying SCI-IDS, this study assessed the differential regulation of the gene network associated with neuroendocrine immunity after SCI. Progressive neuroinflammation spreads after injury, and neurotransmission through Gi-mediated G protein-coupled receptors in the HPA axis and neuropeptide production by the hypothalamus are inhibited. Disruption of the connection between the hypothalamus and the adrenal glands causes autonomous regulation of the adrenal glands, disturbance of circadian rhythm and finally hypercortisolemia, leading to general suppression of peripheral adaptive immunity. Neuraxial nerve inflammation caused by SCI persists indefinitely, blocking nerve repair; persistent system-wide immunosuppression in the periphery results in increased susceptibility to infection, leading to poor neurological prognosis. The presence of glutelin plays an important role in the textural properties of reconstituted rice, but available information is limited. Herein, a comprehensive assessment of the effects of multi-scale structure and intramolecular interactions of glutelin on the textural properties of reconstituted rice was performed. The results demonstrated that the hardness, adhesiveness, and chewiness of reconstituted rice were improved as the added ratio of glutelin increased and the internal structure changed by forming compact flake-like, fibrous branches, more α-helix and β-sheet structure, and enhanced intermolecular interactions. Furthermore, extrusion promoted the generation of special aroma substances by the Maillard reaction. Correlation analysis revealed that the hardness, adhesiveness, and chewiness of reconstituted rice were significant positive correlation with Tp, ∆H, β-turn, random coil, and free SH content, and negative correlation with α-helix of glutelin. Novel dandelion-like Co3O4 mesoporous nanostructures, supported by a Cu foam, are prepared by a combination of hydrothermal synthesis and annealing. The resulting Co3O4@Cu foam exhibits superior oxygen evolution (Tafel slope = 42.8 mV dec−1) and lithium storage (capacity = 882 mA h g−1@2C after 100 cycles, 1C = 890 mA g−1) properties, which highlight its great promise in the fields of energy storage and conversion. The effect of salt concentration on the processing and characteristics of turbot muscle was investigated in this study. The turbot muscle samples were salted with 1%, 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% w/w salt at 4°C for 3 h. Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance was utilized to characterize water distribution and water holding capacity in the samples. Nuclear magnetic resonance transverse (T2) relaxation identified three water components (T21, T22, and T23) which all exhibited characteristics correlated with water holding capacity. Textural analysis indicated that hardness and elasticity increased with increasing salt concentration. Histological imaging showed that with the increase of salt concentration, the muscle fiber diameter and area increased first and then decreased. The porosity of salted samples was higher than that of fresh ones. It was shown that salting at lower salt concentrations would lead to partial degradation of the fibrin in the tissue samples and the swelling of proteins. In treated samples, 5% w/w salt was shown to produce the best results. This study provides theoretical basis for the development of salted turbot meat products. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Microbial ammonia oxidation is vital to the nitrogen cycle. A biological process, called Dirammox (direct ammonia oxidation, NH3→NH2OH→N2), has been recently identified in Alcaligenes ammonioxydans and Alcaligenes faecalis. However, its transcriptional regulatory mechanism has not yet been fully elucidated. The present study characterized a new MocR‐like transcription factor DnfR that is involved in the Dirammox process in A. faecalis strain JQ135. The entire dnf cluster was composed of 10 genes and transcribed as five transcriptional units, that is, dnfIH, dnfR, dnfG, dnfABCDE and dnfF. DnfR activates the transcription of dnfIH, dnfG and dnfABCDE genes, and represses its own transcription. The intact 1506‐bp dnfR gene was required for activation of Dirammox. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays and DNase I footprinting analyses showed that DnfR has one binding site in the dnfH‐dnfR intergenic region and two binding sites in the dnfG‐dnfA intergenic region. Three binding sites of DnfR shared a 6‐bp repeated conserved sequence 5′‐GGTCTG‐N17‐GGTCTG‐3′ which was essential for the transcription of downstream target genes. Cysteine and glutamate act as possible effectors of DnfR to activate the transcription of transcriptional units of dnfG and dnfABCDE, respectively. The Maogongdong deposit is located in the giant Dahutang W-Cu-(Mo) ore field, northern Jiangxi Province, South China. It is mainly a vein-type deposit, characterized by early W and late Cu-Mo mineralization, and temporally and spatially associated with Late Mesozoic S-type muscovite granites emplaced into a Neoproterozoic granodiorite batholith and the Shuangqiaoshan Group metasedimentary rocks. Fluid inclusions and H–O isotopes suggest that the early ore-forming fluids of the Maogongdong deposit are mainly magmatic water with relatively high temperature (270–410 °C) and moderate-to-low salinity, while the late ore-forming fluids are mixed with meteoric water, with medium-to-low temperature (160–270 °C) and low salinity. Infrared and conventional microthermometric studies of fluid inclusions of the main tungsten mineralization stage show that the homogenization temperatures of primary fluid inclusion assemblages in wolframite (325 to 355 °C) are about 20 °C higher than those of coexisting scheelite and generally 40 °C higher than those in quartz. The δ34S values of sulfides (− 5.2 to − 1.3 ‰) in the sulfide stage are slightly lower than the magmatic sulfur (− 1.7 to 0.6 ‰) in the pre-ore stage, most likely due to an increase in oxygen fugacity. The low carbon isotope values (− 26.2 to − 15.5 ‰) of fluid inclusions in the tungsten mineralization stage show that a large amount of organic carbon was added before mineralization. Fluid cooling and pressure decrease are the main factors of tungsten ore precipitation, while local boiling may also make a contribution. The aim of our study was to compare the efficacy of two dosages of hepatitis B immunoglobulin (HBIG) combined with HBV vaccine (HBVac) to prevent mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of hepatitis B in HBsAg- and HBeAg-positive mother. We enrolled 331 mother-infant pairs with HBsAg- and HBeAg-positive maternal state from the Women's Hospital School of Medicine of Zhejiang University. Newborns were randomly distributed into two groups according to the dosages of HBIG injection: 100 IU and 200 IU. Newborns from both groups were injected with HBVac in the same doses. We compared the immune outcomes between the two groups and explore the influencing factors of immune outcomes through regression analysis. There was no statistically significant relationship between HBsAg serological transmission of newborns and dosages of HBIG in HBsAg- and HBeAg-positive mother (p >.05). The Logistic regression showed that high DNA load is a risk factor for passive-active immunoprophylaxis failure for both 100 IU and 200 IU group, but higher-dosage HBIG is not necessary for higher-viral-load pregnant women with HBsAg- and HBeAg-positive. In conclusion, combined application of HBVac and a single dose of 100 IU HBIG can achieve the ideal MTCT interruption results for HBsAg- and HBeAg-positive pregnant women. Hepatitis B vaccine combined with 100 IU or 200 IU immunoglobulin is mostly recommended in China. What do the results of this study add? At present, there is still a lack scientific basis for improving existing strategies and measures to prevent mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B in China. NURBS curves have been widely applied in the field of data points approximation, and their fitting accuracy can be improved by adjusting the values of their weights. When applying the NURBS curve, it is difficult to obtain the optimal weights values due to the nonlinearity of the curve fitting problem with NURBS. In this paper, a weights iterative optimization method for NURBS curve fitting is proposed, where the geometric property of weight has been adopted to iteratively obtain the adjusting values of the weights with the least square method. The effectiveness and convergence of the proposed method are demonstrated by numerical experiments. The results show that the proposed method can obtain higher fitting accuracy than other iterative optimization methods. In cases involving high levels of sulfur loading or high levels of current discharge, constructing sulfur composite cathodes via traditional coating preparation processes is an unsuitable way to overcome intractable problems relating to cathodes for use in lithium–sulfur batteries, such as poor conductivity, severe volume expansion, and the detrimental shuttle effect. Herein, a novel three-dimensional self-supported TiO2@C membrane with hierarchical interlinked porosity and oxygen vacancies was prepared via a phase-inversion method to act as a sulfur host. The procured TiO2−x@C membrane facilitates the infiltration of electrolyte, provides fast lithium-ion and electron transport channels and abundant sulfur loading sites, and shows superb structural buffering against the large volume changes during the conversion process between sulfur and lithium sulfide. More importantly, the introduction of oxygen vacancies not only enhances the conductivity of the original TiO2, but it also improves the corresponding adsorption abilities toward polysulfides and the subsequent transformation dynamics. Therefore, the TiO2−x@C membrane can significantly inhibit the polysulfide shuttle effect through polar chemisorption and conversion catalysis. Based on the above superiorities, the TiO2−x@C/S membrane electrode exhibits an impressive lifespan of more than 500 cycles at 2 C with a prominent ultimate specific discharge capacity of 715.2 mA h g−1. Developing high-efficiency and low-cost electrocatalyst is significant for the application of water splitting technology. Herein, Co 3 O 4 nanoparticles and MnO 2 nanosheets are separately synthesized and subsequently assembled into a unique 0/2-dimensional heterostructure via van der Waals interactions. The consequent composites expose abundant accessible active sites and expedite the reaction kinetics, which can be testified by the superiorities in Tafel slope, exchange current density and double-layer capacitance, only requiring overpotentials of 355 and 129 mV for oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions in 1.0 M KOH at 10 mA cm−2, respectively. Moreover, a cell voltage of 1.660 V can drive the electrolyzer at 10 mA cm−2. Benefitted from robust integration, the original aggregation and restacking of individual materials have been overcome, thereby leading to superior elelctrocatalysis durability. Agricultural land is the most basic input factor for agricultural production and an essential component of terrestrial ecosystems, which plays a vital role in achieving carbon neutrality. Giving full play to the carbon-neutral contribution of agricultural land is a crucial part of China's economic transformation and green development. It incorporates carbon and pollution emissions from agricultural land use into the unexpected outputs of the Green and Low-carbon Utilization Efficiency of Agricultural Land (GLUEAL) evaluation system. The study utilized several advanced analytical tools, including the super-efficient Slacks-Based Measure (SBM) model, Exploratory Spatial-Temporal Data Analysis (ESTDA) method, Geodetector, and Geographically and Temporally Weighted Regression (GTWR) model. The objective was to examine the spatial-temporal evolution of GLUEAL and identify the factors that influenced it in all 31 provinces of China from 2005 to 2020. The results show that: (1) The overall spatial-temporal evolution of GLUEAL showed an increasing trend, but the disparity between provinces and regions became wider. (2) Most provinces have not yet made significant spatial and temporal jumps. They have high spatial cohesion with specific "path-dependent" characteristics. (3) The Geodetector results reveal that the Number of Rural Labor Force with Higher Education (NRLFHE) and Technology Support for Agriculture (TSA) have insufficient explanatory power on average for GLUEAL. Agricultural Economic Development Level (AEDL), Urbanization Level (UL), Multiple Crop Index (MCI), Planting Structure (PS), Degree of Crop Damage (DCD), Financial support for agriculture (FSA), and Agricultural mechanization level (AML) had stronger explanatory power on average for GLUEAL and were important factors influencing GLUEAL levels. This study aimed to explore the protective effects and possible mechanisms of baicalein on Aβ 25 – 35 -induced toxicity. Thioflavin-T (Th-T) dye was used to determine the effects of baicalein on Aβ 25 – 35 aggregation in vitro. PC12 cells were stimulated with Aβ 25 – 35 , then the effects of baicalein on apoptosis, mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), adenosine triphosphate (ATP), mitochondrial respiratory complex I, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitric oxide (NO) levels were determined. Moreover, LC-MS metabolomics approach was used to detect metabolic changes induced by baicalein in Aβ 25 – 35 -injured PC12 cells. The results showed that baicalein could inhibit the aggregation of Aβ 25 – 35 in vitro. Furthermore, pretreatment with baicalein significantly prevented Aβ 25 – 35 -induced cell apoptosis, as manifested by increasing the levels of MMP, ATP and mitochondrial respiratory complex I, decreasing the contents of ROS and NO. LC-MS metabolomics revealed that baicalein can regulate 5 metabolites, mainly involving two metabolic pathways, arginine and proline metabolism, nicotinate and nicotinamide metabolism. Doxorubicin (DOX) is a potent and broad-spectrum anthracycline chemotherapeutic agent, but dose-dependent cardiotoxic side effects limit its clinical application. This toxicity is closely associated with the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) radical during DOX metabolism. The present study investigated the effects of Berberine (Ber) on DOX-induced acute cardiac injury in a rat model and analysed its mechanism in cardiomyocytes in vitro. Serum creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels were significantly increased in the DOX group compared with the control group. This increase was accompanied by cardiac histopathological injury and a decrease in cardiomyocyte superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT). CK, CK-MB and MDA levels decreased and SOD and CAT levels increased in the Ber-treated group compared to the DOX group. Ber ameliorated the DOX-induced increase in cytosolic calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i), attenuated mitochondrial Ca2+ overload and restored the DOX-induced loss of mitochondrial membrane potential in vitro. These results demonstrated that Ber exhibited protective effects against DOX-induced heart tissue free radical injury, potentially via the inhibition of intracellular Ca2+ elevation and attenuation of mitochondrial dysfunction. Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries appear to be one of the most promising energy-storage devices owing to the unparalleled theoretical specific energy, relatively inexpensive price and abundant resources. Despite these attractive features, the practical performances of sulfur cathode still remain a lot of challenges, such as the electrical insulating nature of S and Li 2 S, huge volume change during cycling, notorious shuttle effect of lithium polysulfide intermediates (LiPSs), sluggish redox kinetics and construction of thick electrodes with high sulfur loading. Here, CoFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles anchored on the carbon nanotube (CNT) paper is proposed as free-standing sulfur host to address the issues. The cross-linking CNT network can serve as conductive matrix and accommodate volume change upon cycling simultaneously. Meanwhile, the CoFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles are capable of effectively anchoring LiPSs to suppress the shuttle effect and accelerating LiPSs conversion to boost redox kinetics. Moreover, the free-standing paper electrode without any binder is conducive to constructing stable cathode with high sulfur loading. In consequence, the well-designed S/CoFe 2 O 4 /CNT paper cathodes deliver impressive electrochemical performance, demonstrating an initial discharge capacity of 755.3 mAh g−1 and remaining a high reversible capacity of 642.6 mAh g−1 after 400 cycles at 2 C with an inconspicuous decay of 0.04% per cycle. A new non-interpenetrating 2D Cu(ii)-metal organic framework has been successfully synthesized from the carbazole-bridging organic ligand L and Cu(NO3)2 in solution. The CuL2(NO3)2 framework contains square-like channels and the n-butyl groups on L face toward the channel center to form the typical hydrophobic pores. In addition, the reported CuL2(NO3)2 host can reversibly upload various VOCs such as CH2Cl2, CHCl3 and BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene, m-xylene, and p-xylene) under ambient conditions without loss of framework integrity. Furthermore, it is able to effectively separate CH2Cl2 from CHCl3, benzene from toluene/ethylbenzene/xylene and toluene from ethylbenzene/xylene in the liquid phase. And then the blood and urine were collected in 1 d, 7 d and 14 d after last time oral administration of Euthyrox; Yersiniaenterocolitica-induced model : the rats were injected Yersiniaenterocolitica ( YE) in 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 (IOCV). And then the blood and urine were collected in 5d, 15d and 25d after last IOCV of YE. Endoscopic thyroidectomy embodies the features of both minimally invasive surgery and aesthetic surgery. However, none of the established approaches is minimally invasive and meanwhile maximally cosmetic. Here we applied a modified anterior chest approach to achieve excellent cosmesis with reduced physical invasion. Fifty-six patients with benign thyroid diseases accepted this procedure. A 10mm longitudinal incision was made about one-fourth of the distance from the xiphoid to the sternal notch. Bilateral transversal incisions (5mm and 10mm) were performed about one-third of the distance from the nipple to the sternoclavicular joint. The subfascial space was maintained with CO2 insufflation. Endoscopic lobectomy or subtotal thyroidectomy was performed according to the diseases. Fifty-four of the 56 procedures were successfully performed endoscopically, including 41 unilateral lobectomies and 13 subtotal thyroidectomies. The mean operative time for uni- and bilateral procedures was 117.2 min and 184.5 min, respectively. Conversion occurred in two cases due to bleeding and malignant frozen section analysis, respectively. Postoperative complications included one temporary recurrent nerve palsy, one transient hypocalcemia, and one subcutaneous emphysema. 96.2%(50/52) of the patients were extremely satisfied or satisfied with the cosmetic effect. This procedure is more likely to be accepted by patients older than 30 years. However, the actual implementation of sulfur cathode in Li-S batteries is seriously hampered by the undesirable shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides (LiPS), inferior electroconductibility of S/Li 2 S and huge volume change during lithiation/delithiation process. Herein, the CoFe 2 O 4 nanotubes decorated with polyaniline (PANI) are rationally designed and fabricated as efficient sulfur hosts to handle these challenges. Specifically, both CoFe 2 O 4 and PANI components possess strong chemical affinity to the soluble intermediate LiPS. Meanwhile, from the perspective of structural superiority, the internal void space of nanotubes can effectively accommodate active sulfur particles and tolerate the large volume change upon cycling. Besides, the conductive polymer of PANI can greatly improve the cathode conductivity and facilitate the electron transfer for active materials. More importantly, the S/CoFe 2 O 4 @PANI electrode achieves excellent cycling performance with superior initial capacity of 864.1 mAh g −1 and good reversible capacity retention with 582.6 mAh g −1 even after 500 cycles at 2 C rate. We propose a decent synergetic effect produced by delicate hybridization between exfoliated MoSe 2 nanosheets and high conductive Ag nanoparticles during self-assemble process. Splenic cyst is a relatively rare disease; true splenic cysts are classified as parasitic and non-parasitic cysts. Although most cysts are asymptomatic, large cyst cases show clinical symptoms, consisting mainly of dyspepsia and fullness in the upper left abdomen. Surgical intervention is recommended primarily for large cysts to prevent complications such as rupture, hemorrhage, and infection. This paper presents our experience of eleven laparoscopic procedures for non-parasitic splenic cysts. Laparoscopic fenestration was performed in all cases, and the cyst endothelium was destroyed . All operations were accomplished successfully. The mean operative time was 56 minutes (range 40-90 minutes). Intraoperative bleeding was 15ml (range 5-30 ml), oral food intake was started on the first postoperative day. The median duration of postoperative hospitalization was 2.8 days (range 1-7days). There were no postoperative complications. All cases were followed up for a period of 21 months to 5.5 years, and no recurrence occurred. Laparoscopic fenestration and endothelium obliteration is an advantageous approach to large non-parasitic splenic cysts with little postoperative pain, fast recovery, splenic tissue and splenism preservation, low complication rates, and a short hospital stay; it is easily accepted by patients. It yields favorable medium-term results. Our study confirms that good results can be achieved with an approach of laparoscopic fenestration and endothelium obliteration for simple non-parasitic splenic cysts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
