3. Indefinite linear-quadratic optimal control of mean-field stochastic differential equation with jump diffusion: an equivalent cost functional method

Abstract

In this paper, we consider a linear-quadratic optimal control problem of mean-field stochastic differential equation with jump diffusion, which is also called as an MF-LQJ problem. Here, cost functional is allowed to be indefinite. We use an equivalent cost functional method to deal with the MF-LQJ problem with indefinite weighting matrices. Some equivalent cost functionals enable us to establish a bridge between indefinite and positive-definite MF-LQJ problems. With such a bridge, solvabilities of stochastic Hamiltonian system and Riccati equations are further characterized. Optimal control of the indefinite MF-LQJ problem is represented as a state feedback via solutions of Riccati equations. As a by-product, the method provides a new way to prove the existence and uniqueness of solution to mean field forward-backward stochastic differential equation with jump diffusion (MF-FBSDEJ, for short), where existing methods in literature do not work. Some examples are provided to illustrate our results.

6. Linear Quadratic Control of Backward Stochastic Differential Equation with Partial Information

Abstract

In this paper, we study an optimal control problem of linear backward stochastic differential equation (BSDE) with quadratic cost functional under partial information. This problem is solved completely and explicitly by using a stochastic maximum principle and a decoupling technique. By using the maximum principle, a stochastic Hamiltonian system, which is a forward-backward stochastic differential equation (FBSDE) with filtering, is obtained. By decoupling the stochastic Hamiltonian system, three Riccati equations, a BSDE with filtering, and a stochastic differential equation (SDE) with filtering are derived. We then get an optimal control with a feedback representation. An explicit formula for the corresponding optimal cost is also established. As illustrative examples, we consider two special scalar-valued control problems and give some numerical simulations.

10. Partially observed mean-field Stackelberg stochastic differential game with two followers.

Abstract

This paper studies a partially observed stochastic Stackelberg game with two followers, where state satisfies a linear stochastic differential equation of mean-field type, and cost functionals are quadratic. Using decomposition technique and backward separation approach, we derive the followers' optimal strategy. The leader focuses on an optimal control problem driven by a fully coupled mean-field forward–backward stochastic differential equation with conditional expectation. By layer-by-layer decomposition technique, some inequalities and Riccati equations, we not only get the existence and uniqueness of solution to the corresponding Hamiltonian system but also give a feedback form of Stackelberg solution. Abstract

This paper reported the nursing management of a patient with massive hemorrhage during spinal operation under general anesthesia. Intraoperative fluid supplementation was performed as fluid loss and hypovolemia before the operation. A massive hemorrhage had occurred as accidental damage to the vein, and targeted treatment and nursing interventions were carried out to stabilize the patient's vital signs. 29. SiC IGBT degradation mechanism investigation under HV-H3TRB tests

Abstract

The high voltage–high humidity–high temperature reverse bias (HV-H3TRB) test was utilized to evaluate the reliability of silicon carbide insulated gate bipolar transistors (SiC IGBTs). Moisture invasion often induces termination/passivation and metal corrosion. Therefore, the HV-H3TRB test is generally used to assess termination / passivation robustness. However, under the HV-H3TRB test conditions, gate quality degradation may occur. In this study, the dominant degradation mechanism of SiC IGBTs was investigated. The changes of the most sensitive static characteristics (e.g., threshold voltage, breakdown voltage, and leakage current) were recorded. The threshold voltage decreased and leakage current increased substantially after > 1000 h of HV-H3TRB tests under 85 ℃/85% RH climate conditions. Capacitance–voltage (C–V) curve measurements indicated that the mobile ions at the SiC/SiO2interface or in the gate oxide likely caused the threshold-voltage instability in the SiC IGBTs after the HV-H3TRB tests. This instability can be recovered by applying a negative gate bias. Subsequent failure analysis confirmed no corrosion of metals or termination/passivation in the device, which indicates the robustness of the passivation (consisting of phosphor-silicate glass and Si3N4). Therefore, the gate quality appears to be a significant reliability risk for SiC IGBTs under high humidity, high temperature, and high voltage conditions.

Abstract

Background: Cryopreservation induces transcriptomic and epigenetic modifications that strongly impairs sperm quality and function, and thus decrease reproductive performance. N6-methyladenosine (m6A) RNA methylation varies in response to stress and has been implicated in multiple important biological processes, including post-transcriptional fate of mRNA, metabolism, and apoptosis. This study aimed to explore whether cryopreservation induces m6A modification of mRNAs associated with sperm energy metabolism, cryoinjuries, and freezability. Results: The mRNA and protein expression of m6A modification enzymes were significantly dysregulated in sperm after cryopreservation. Furthermore, m6A peaks were mainly enriched in coding regions and near stop codons with classical RRACH motifs. The mRNAs containing highly methylated m6A peaks (fts vs. fs) were significantly associated with metabolism and gene expression, while the genes with less methylated m6A peaks were primarily involved in processes regulating RNA metabolism and transcription. Furthermore, the joint analysis of DMMGs and differentially expressed genes indicated that both of these play a vital role in sperm energy metabolism and apoptosis. Conclusions: Our study is the first to reveal the dynamic m6A modification of mRNAs in boar sperm during cryopreservation. These epigenetic modifications may affect mRNA expression and are closely related to sperm motility, apoptosis, and metabolism, which will provide novel insights into understanding of the cryoinjuries or freezability of boar sperm during cryopreservation.
