Topological magnetic materials are expected to show multiple transport responses because of their unusual bulk electronic topology in momentum space and topological spin texture in real space. However, such multiple topological properties-hosting materials are rare in nature. In this work, we reveal the coexistence of a large tunable anomalous Hall effect and topological magnetic skyrmions in a Weyl nodal ring ferromagnet Mn5Ge3, by using electrical transport and Lorentz transmission electronic microscope (TEM) measurements. It was found that the intrinsic anomalous Hall conductivity (AHC) can reach up to 979.7 S/cm with current along [120] and magnetic field along [001] of the Mn5Ge3 single crystals. Our theoretical calculations reveal that the large AHC is closely related with two Weyl nodal rings in band structure near the Fermi level and is strongly modified by the content of Ge. Moreover, our Lorentz-TEM images and micromagnetic simulation results, together with the sizable topological Hall effect clearly point to the robust formation of magnetic skyrmions over a wide temperature-magnetic field region. These results prove Mn5Ge3 as a rare magnetic topological nodal-line semimetal with great significance to explore novel multiple topological phenomena, which facilitates the development of spintronics., Comment: 38 pages, 22 figures

The advent of large language models (LLMs) has significantly advanced various fields, including natural language processing and automated dialogue systems. This paper explores the application of LLMs in psychological counseling, addressing the increasing demand for mental health services. We present a method for instruction tuning LLMs with specialized prompts to enhance their performance in providing empathetic, relevant, and supportive responses. Our approach involves developing a comprehensive dataset of counseling-specific prompts, refining them through feedback from professional counselors, and conducting rigorous evaluations using both automatic metrics and human assessments. There has been a significant focus on real topological systems that enjoy space-time inversion symmetry (PT ) and lack spin-orbit coupling. While the theoretical classification of the real topology has been established, more progress has yet to be made in the materials realization of such real topological systems in three dimensions (3D). To address this crucial issue, by selecting the carbon-based material candidates as targets, we perform high-throughput computing to inspect the real topology in the phonon spectrums of the 3D carbon allotropes in the Samara Carbon Allotrope Database (SACADA). Among 1192 kinds of 3D carbon allotropes, we find 65 real topological systems with a phononic real Chern insulating (PRCI) state, 2 real topological systems with a phononic real nodal line (PRNL) state, 10 real topological systems with a phononic real Dirac point (PRDP) state, and 8 real topological systems with a phononic real triple-point pair (PRTPP) state. This extremely expands the material candidates with real topology, especially for the gapless topological phonons. We exhibit the PRCI, PRNL, PRTPP, and PRDP states of 27-SG. 166-pcu-h, 1081-SG. 194- 4 2T13-CA, 52-SG. 141-gis, and 132-SG. 191-3,4T157 as illustrative examples, and explore the second-order boundary mode, i.e., phononic hinge mode. Among the four examples, the materials 1081-SG. 194-42T13-CA and 52-SG. 141-gis are so ideal that the PRNL and PRTPP in them are well separated from other bands, and the phononic hinge mode can be clearly observed. This study aims to broaden the understanding of 3D topological phonons, and emphasizes the potential of 3D carbon allotropes as a valuable framework for exploring the fascinating physics related to phononic hinge modes and phononic real topology.

The orbital Hall effect in light materials has attracted considerable attention for developing novel orbitronic devices. Here we investigate the orbital torque efficiency and demonstrate the switching of the perpendicularly magnetized materials through the orbital Hall material (OHM), i.e., Zirconium (Zr). The orbital torque efficiency of approximately 0.78 is achieved in the Zr OHM with the perpendicularly magnetized [Co/Pt]3 sample, which significantly surpasses that of the perpendicularly magnetized CoFeB/Gd/CoFeB sample (approximately 0.04). Such notable difference is attributed to the different spin-orbit correlation strength between the [Co/Pt]3 sample and the CoFeB/Gd/CoFeB sample, which has been confirmed through the theoretical calculations. Furthermore, the full magnetization switching of the [Co/Pt]3 sample with a switching current density of approximately 2.6x106 A/cm2 has been realized through Zr, which even outperforms that of the W spin Hall material. The recent discoveries of surperisingly large anomalous Hall effect in chiral antiderromagnets have triggered extensive research efforts in various fields, ranging from topological condensed-matter physics to antiferromagnetic spintronics, and energy harvesting technology. However, such AHE-hosting antiferromagnetic materials are rare in nature. Herein, we demonstrate that Mn2.4Ga, a Fermi-level-tuned kagome antiferromagnet, has a large anomalous Hall conductivity of about 150 {\Omega}-1cm-1 at room temperature that surpasses the usual high values (i.e.,20-50 {\Omega}-1cm-1) observed so far in two outstanding kagome antiferromagnets, Mn3Sn and Mn3Ge. The spin triangular structure of Mn2.4Ga guarantees a nonzero Berry curvature while generates only a weak net moment in the kagome plane.Moreover, the anomalous Hall conductivity exhibits a sign reversal with the rotation of a small magnetic field, which can be ascribed to the field-controlled chirality of the spin triangular structure. Our theoretical calculation indicate that the large AHE in Mn2.4Ga originates from a significantly enhanced Berry curvature associated wiht the tuning of the Fermi level close to the Weyl points. Layered van der Waals (vdW) magnets are prominent playgrounds for developing magnetoelectric, magneto-optic and spintronic devices. In spintronics, particularly in spincaloritronic applications, low thermal conductivity ($\kappa$) is highly desired. Here, by combining thermal transport measurements with density functional theory calculations, we demonstrate low $\kappa$ down to 1 W m$^{-1}$ K$^{-1}$ in a typical vdW ferromagnet Cr$_2$Si$_2$Te$_6$. In the paramagnetic state, development of magnetic fluctuations way above $T_\mathrm{c}=$ 33 K strongly reduces $\kappa$ via spin-phonon scattering, leading to low $\kappa \sim$ 1 W m$^{-1}$ K$^{-1}$ over a wide temperature range, in comparable to that of amorphous silica. In the magnetically ordered state, emergence of resonant magnon-phonon scattering limits $\kappa$ below $\sim$ 2 W m$^{-1}$ K$^{-1}$, which would be three times larger if magnetic scatterings were absent. Application of magnetic fields strongly suppresses the spin-phonon scattering, giving rise to large enhancements of $\kappa$. Our calculations well capture these complex behaviours of $\kappa$ by taking the temperature- and magnetic-field-dependent spin-phonon scattering into account. Realization of low $\kappa$ which is easily tunable by magnetic fields in Cr$_2$Si$_2$Te$_6$, may further promote spincaloritronic applications of vdW magnets. The realization of Weyl systems with the minimum nonzero number of Weyl points (WPs) and full spin polarization remains challenging in topology physics and spintronic. In this study, for the first time, we used first-principle calculations and symmetry analysis to demonstrate that BaNiIO$_6$, a dynamically and thermodynamically stable half-metallic material, hosts fully spin-polarized single-pair WPs (SP-WPs) with a charge number ($\cal{C}$) of $\pm$2 and a type-\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral3} band dispersion around the Fermi level. Moreover, the fully spin-polarized SP-WPs induce double-helicoid Fermi arcs on the (10$\overline{1}$0) surface. The half-metallic state and the spin-polarized SP-WPs are robust to uniform strains (from -10\% to +8\%) and on-site Hubbard-Coulomb interactions (from 0 eV to 6 eV). When +9 % or +10 % uniform strain is applied to the BaNiIO$_6$ system, it hosts six additional type-\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral2} WPs with $\lvert{\cal{C}}\rvert=1$ in the three-dimensional Brillouin zone in addition to the two type-\uppercase\expandafter{\romannumeral3} WPs with $\lvert{\cal{C}}\rvert=2$. We hope that this study will motivate future research into SP-WPs half-metals.

The domain dynamics and spin-spin correlation of 2D ferromagnets Cr2X2Te6 (X=Si, Ge) are investigated by a composite magnetoelectric method. The magnetic field-temperature phase diagrams for both in-plane and out-of-plane magnetic fields disclose a triple point around TC and 1 kOe, where ferromagnetic, paramagnetic, and spin-polarized phases coexist. The magnetoelectric signal shows peak features at the phase boundaries and reaches the maximum at the triple point, suggesting significant enhancement of spin-spin correlations at this point. We have explored the skyrmion phases and phase diagram of poly and single-crystal MnSi by the measurements of the magnetoelectric coefficient alfaE and ac magnetic susceptibility of the MnSi/PMN-PT composite. We found that the regular skyrmion lattice phase in single crystal sample has been averaged in the MnSi polycrystal due to random grain orientations which results in an extended skyrmion lattice-conical mixture phase down to 25 K. The magnitude of the out-of-phase component in alfaE of the polycrystal, not single crystal, decreases gradually with decreasing frequency. With the changing of the driven ac field, it reveals a depinning threshold behavior in both samples. The depinning field is stronger in the polycrystal than that in single crystal and maybe responsible for the diminishing of dissipative behavior at lower frequency due to grain boundaries and defects. The search for materials exhibiting nanoscale spiral order continues to be fuelled by the promise of emergent inductors. Although such spin textures have been reported in many materials, most of them exhibit long periods or are limited to operate far below room temperature. Here, we present the real-space observation of an ordered helical spin order with a period of 3.2 nm in a non-chiral centrosymmetric helimagnet MnCoSi at room temperature via multi-angle and multi-azimuth approach of Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (TEM). A magnetic transition from the ordered helical spin order to a cycloidal spin order below 228 K is clearly revealed by in situ neutron powder diffraction and Lorentz TEM, which is closely correlated with temperature-induced variation in magneto-crystalline anisotropy. These results reveal the origin of spiral ordered spin textures in non-chiral centrosymmetric helimagnet, which can serve as a new strategy for searching materials with nanoscale spin order with potential applications in emergent electromagnetism., Comment: 18 pages, 5 figures

Magnetic biskyrmions are observed in experiments but their existences are still under debate. In this work, we present the existence of biskyrmions in a magnetic film with tilted uniaxial anisotropy via micromagnetic simulations. We find biskyrmions and bubbles share a unified three-dimensional structure, in which the relative position of two intrinsic Bloch points dominates the two-dimensional topological property in the film middle. The film edge can drive Bloch points and transform bubbles into biskyrmions via the demagnetizing field. This mechanism is found in the formation process of biskyrmions in confined geometry under zero field. A special cross-tie (SCT) domain wall was discovered in the helimagnet MnCoSi alloy via the magnetic vector field tomography in Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (LTEM). Different to the traditional cross-tie (TCT) domain wall where the convergent/divergent magnetic moment configuration line up one by one, the relative large Bloch type sub-walls emerge in this brand-new SCT domain wall and two mutually perpendicular rotation axes coexist in this special feature. The straight magnetic stripes accompanied with the unraveled domain walls hint the complex mechanism to form this SCT structure. Interestingly, different orientation of this domain wall in LTEM can easily exhibit various magnetic features, including meron/antimeron chains or bimeron strings.

Magnetic skyrmion, a topological magnetic domain with complex non-coplanar spin texture, appears a disk-like structure in two dimensions. Exploring three-dimensional spin texture and related chirality switching has drawn enormous interests from the perspective of fundamental research. Here, the three-dimensional magnetic moment of the skyrmion bubbles in centrosymmetric Mn-Ni-Ga were reconstructed with the vector field tomography approach via Lorentz transmission electron microscopy. The type of the bubbles was determined from investigating the magnetic vectors in entire space. We found that the bubbles switched their chirality easily but still keep the polarity to remain the singularity of the bubbles within the material. Our results offer valuable insights into the fundamental mechanisms underlying the spin chirality flips dynamics of skyrmion bubbles.

Materials exhibiting zero thermal expansion (ZTE), namely, volume invariance during temperature change, can resist thermal shock and are highly desired in modern industries as high-precision components. However, pure ZTE materials are rare, especially those that are metallic. Here, we report the discovery of a pure metallic ZTE material: an orthorhombic Mn1-xNixCoSi spiral magnet. The introduction of Ni can efficiently enhance the ferromagnetic exchange interaction and construct the transition from a spiral magnetic state to a ferromagnetic-like state in MnCoSi-based alloys. Systematic in situ neutron powder diffraction revealed a new cycloidal spiral magnetic structure in bc plane at ground state which would transform to the helical spiral in the ab plane with increasing temperature. Combined with Lorentz transmission electron microscopy techniques, the cycloidal and helical spin order coherently rotated at varying periods along the c axis during the magnetic transition. This spin rotation drove the continuous movement of the coupled crystalline lattice and induced a large negative thermal expansion along the a axis, eventually leading to a wide-temperature ZTE effect. Recently, two-dimensional ferromagnetism in the family of Chromium compounds $\rm CrXTe_3 (X=Si, Ge)$ has attracted a broad research interest. Despite the structural similarity in $\rm CrTe_6$ octahedra, the size effect of inserted Ge or Si dimer contributes to significant differences in magnetism. Here, we report a new quaternary van der Waals ferromagnetic material $\rm CrGe_{\delta}Si_{1-\delta}Te_3$ synthesized by flux method. Ge substitution in Si site results in the lattice expansion, further increasing the Curie temperature and reducing the magnetic anisotropy. The critical behavior of $\rm Cr_{0.96}Ge_{0.17}Si_{0.82}Te_3$ has been studied by specific heat as well as magnetization measurements. And the extracted critical exponents are self-consistent and well-obeying the scaling laws, which are closer to the 2D Ising model with interaction decaying as $J(r)\approx r^{-3.44}$.

The hydrostatic pressure is expected to be an effective knob to tune the magnetostructural phase transitions of hexagonal MMX alloy. In this study, magnetization measurements under hydrostatic pressure were performed on a MMX martensitic MnNi0.77Fe0.23Ge alloy. The magnetostructural transition temperature can be efficiently tuned to lower temperatures by applying moderate pressures, with a giant shift rate of -151 K GPa-1. A temperature span of 30 K is obtained under the pressure, within which a large magnetic entropy change of -23 J kg-1 K-1 in a field change of 5 T is induced by the mechanical energy gain due to the large volume change. Meanwhile, a decoupling of structural and magnetic transitions is observed at low temperatures when the martensitic transition temperature is lower than the Curie temperature. The planar topological Hall effect (PTHE), appeared when the magnetic field tended to be along the current, is believed to result from the real-space Berry curvature of the spin spiral structure and has been experimentally observed in skyrmion-hosting materials. In this paper, we report an experimental observation of the PTHE in a hexagonal ferromagnetic Fe5Sn3 single crystal. With a current along the c axis of Fe5Sn3, the transverse resistivity curves exhibited obvious peaks near the saturation field as the magnetic field rotated to the current and appeared more obvious with increasing temperature, which was related to the noncoplanar spin structure in Fe5Sn3. This spin structure induced nonzero scalar spin chirality, which acted as fictitious magnetic fields to conduction electrons and contributed the additional transverse signal. These findings deepen the understanding of the interaction between conduction electrons and complex magnetic structures and are instructive for the design of next-generation spintronic devices.

Phase transitions and critical phenomena, which are dominated by fluctuations and correlations, are one of the fields replete with physical paradigms and unexpected discoveries. Especially for two-dimensional magnetism, the limitation of the Ginzburg criterion leads to enhanced fluctuations breaking down the mean-field theory near a critical point. Here, by means of magnetic resonance, we investigate the behavior of critical fluctuations in the two-dimensional ferromagnetic insulators $\rm CrXTe_3 (X=Si, Ge)$. After deriving the classical and quantum models of magnetic resonance, we deem the dramatic anisotropic shift of the measured $g$ factor to originate from fluctuations with anisotropic interactions. The deduction of the $g$ factor behind the fluctuations is consistent with the spin-only state (${g\approx}$ 2.050(10) for $\rm CrSiTe_3$ and 2.039(10) for $\rm CrGeTe_3$). Furthermore, the abnormal enhancement of $g$ shift, supplemented by specific heat and magnetometry measurements, suggests that $\rm CrSiTe_3$ exhibits a more typical two-dimensional nature than $\rm CrGeTe_3$ and may be closer to the quantum critical point.

Flexible and efficient manipulation of magnetic configurations can be challenging. In the design of practical devices, achieving a high effective magnetic field with a low working current is under tight demand. Here, we report a unique method for efficient magnetism modulation by direct current injection in magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2. We demonstrate that the modulation process stems from current-assisted domain wall motion. Through two independent methods, we reveal that the spin-transfer torque efficiency of Co3Sn2S2 reaches as high as 2.4-5.6 kOe MA^(-1) cm^2, and the threshold current density for driving the magnetic domain walls is as low as <5.1*10^5 A/cm^2 without an external field, and <1.5*10^5 A/cm^2 with a moderate external field. Our findings manifest a new and powerful approach for sub-micron magnetism manipulation, and also open the door towards a new paradigm of spintronics that combines magnetism, topology, and metallicity for low-energy consumption memory and computing., Comment: 15 pages, 4 figures

The magnetotransport properties in antiferromagnetic half-Heusler single crystals of TbPtBi, a magnetic-field-induced topological semimetal with simple band structure, are investigated. We found that a nonmonotonic magnetic field dependence of the anomalous Hall resistivity in a high magnetic field (B>7T), which come from the change of band structure induced by the Zeeman-like splitting when applying the external magnetic field. The experiment results show that credible anomalous Hall resistivity and conductivity reach up to 0.6798m{\Omega}cm and 125{\Omega}-1cm-1, respectively. A large AHA up to 33% is obtained in TbPtBi, which is comparable to typical ferromagnetic Weyl semimetal. The analysis of results show it should be attributed to topological band around EF and low carrier density., Comment: 9 pages

Electrical manipulation of skyrmions attracts considerable attention for its rich physics and promising applications. To date, such a manipulation is realized mainly via spin-polarized current based on spin-transfer torque or spin-orbital torque effect. However, this scheme is energy-consuming and may produce massive Joule heating. To reduce energy dissipation and risk of heightened temperatures of skyrmion-based devices, an effective solution is to use electric field instead of current as stimulus. Here, we realize an electric-field manipulation of skyrmions in a nanostructured ferromagnetic/ferroelectrical heterostructure at room temperature via an inverse magneto-mechanical effect. Intriguingly, such a manipulation is non-volatile and exhibits a multi-state feature. Numerical simulations indicate that the electric-field manipulation of skyrmions originates from strain-mediated modification of effective magnetic anisotropy and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. Anomalous Hall effect (AHE) can be induced by intrinsic mechanism due to the band Berry phase and extrinsic one arising from the impurity scattering. The recently discovered magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2 exhibits a large intrinsic anomalous Hall conductivity (AHC) and a giant anomalous Hall angle (AHA). The predicted energy dependence of the AHC in this material exhibits a plateau at 1000 {\Omega}-1 cm-1 and an energy width of 100 meV just below EF, thereby implying that the large intrinsic AHC will not significantly change against small-scale energy disturbances such as slight p-doping. Here, we successfully trigger the extrinsic contribution from alien-atom scattering in addition to the intrinsic one of the pristine material by introducing a small amount of Fe dopant to substitute Co in Co3Sn2S2. Our experimental results show that the AHC and AHA can be prominently enhanced up to 1850 {\Omega}-1 cm-1 and 33%, respectively, owing to the synergistic contributions from the intrinsic and extrinsic mechanisms as distinguished by the TYJ model. In particular, the tuned AHA holds a record value in low fields among known magnetic materials. We use scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy (STM/S) to elucidate the atomically resolved electronic structure in strongly correlated topological kagome magnet Mn$_3$Sn. In stark contrast to its broad single-particle electronic structure, we observe a pronounced resonance with a Fano line shape at the Fermi level resembling the many-body Kondo resonance. We find that this resonance does not arise from the step edges or atomic impurities, but the intrinsic kagome lattice. Moreover, the resonance is robust against the perturbation of a vector magnetic field, but broadens substantially with increasing temperature, signaling strongly interacting physics. We show that this resonance can be understood as the result of geometrical frustration and strong correlation based on the kagome lattice Hubbard model. We report a comprehensive neutron scattering study on the spin excitations in the magnetic Weyl semimetal Co$_3$Sn$_2$S$_2$ with quasi-two-dimensional structure. Both in-plane and out-of-plane dispersions of the spin waves are revealed in the ferromagnetic state, similarly dispersive but damped spin excitations persist into the paramagnetic state. The effective exchange interactions have been estimated by a semi-classical Heisenberg model to consistently reproduce the experimental $T_C$ and spin stiffness. However, a full spin wave gap below $E_g=2.3$ meV is observed at $T=4$ K, much larger than the estimated magnetic anisotropy energy ($\sim0.6$ meV), while its temperature dependence indicates a significant contribution from the Weyl fermions. These results suggest that Co$_3$Sn$_2$S$_2$ is a three-dimensional correlated system with large spin stiffness, and the low-energy spin dynamics could interplay with the topological electron states., Comment: 15 pages, 10 figures, including Supplementary Materials

We report the observation of a large anisotropic topological Hall effect (THE) in the hexagonal non-collinear magnet Fe5Sn3 single crystals. It is found that the sign of the topological Hall resistivity is negative when a magnetic field H perpendicular to the bc-plane (H\perp bc-plane), however, it changes form negative to positive when H parallel to the c-axis (H\parallel c-axis). The value of topological Hall resistivity increased with the increasing temperature and reached approximately -2.12 \mu\Omega cm (H\perp bc-plane) and 0.5 \mu\Omega cm (H\parallel c-axis) at 350 K, respectively. Quantitative analyses of the measured data suggest that the observed anisotropic THE may originate from the opposite scalar spin chirality induced by the magnetic fields perpendicular and parallel to the c-axis, respectively., Comment: 20 pages, 11 figures

Magnetic skyrmionium can be used as a nanometer-scale non-volatile information carrier, which shows no skyrmion Hall effect due to its special structure carrying zero topological charge. Here, we report the static and dynamic properties of an isolated nanoscale skyrmionium in a frustrated magnetic monolayer, where the skyrmionium is stabilized by competing interactions. The frustrated skyrmionium has a size of about $10$ nm, which can be further reduced by tuning perpendicular magnetic anisotropy or magnetic field. It is found that the nanoscale skyrmionium driven by the damping-like spin-orbit torque shows directional motion with a favored Bloch-type helicity. A small driving current or magnetic field can lead to the transformation of an unstable N\'eel-type skyrmionium to a metastable Bloch-type skyrmionium. A large driving current may result in the distortion and collapse of the Bloch-type skyrmionium. Magnetic chiral skyrmion bubbles and achiral bubbles are two independent magnetic domain structures, in which the former with equivalent winding number to skyrmions offers great promise as information carriers for further spintronic devices. Here, in this work, we experimentally investigate the generation and annihilation of magnetic chiral skyrmion bubbles and achiral bubbles in the Mn-Ni-Ga thin plate by using the Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (L-TEM). The two independent magnetic domain structures can be directly controlled after the field cooling manipulation by varying the titled angles of external magnetic fields. By imaging the magnetization reversal with increasing temperature, we found an extraordinary annihilation mode of magnetic chiral skyrmion bubbles and a non-linear frequency for the winding number reversal. Exotic magnetic structures, such as magnetic skyrmions and domain walls, are becoming more important in nitrogen-vacancy center scanning magnetometry. However, a systematic imaging approach to mapping stray fields with fluctuation of several milliteslas generated by such structures is not yet available. Here we present a scheme to image a millitesla magnetic field by tracking the magnetic resonance frequency, which can record multiple contour lines for a magnetic field. The radial basis function algorithm is employed to reconstruct the magnetic field from the contour lines. Simulations with shot noise quantitatively confirm the high quality of the reconstruction algorithm. The method was validated by imaging the stray field of a frustrated magnet. In this paper, we report an experimental observation of the large anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in a hexagonal ferromagnetic Fe5Sn3 single crystal with current along the b axis and a magnetic field normal to the bc plane. The intrinsic contribution of the anomalous Hall conductance sigma_AH^int was approximately 613 {\Omega}-1 cm-1, which was more than 3 times the maximum value in the frustrated kagome magnet Fe3Sn2 and nearly independent of the temperature over a wide range between 5 and 350 K. The analysis results revealed that the large AHE was dominated by a common, intrinsic term, while the extrinsic contribution, i.e., the skew scattering and side jump, turned out to be small. In addition to the large AHE, it was found the types of majority carriers changed at approximately 275 and 30 K, consistent with the critical temperatures of the spin reorientation. These findings suggest that the hexagonal ferromagnetic Fe5Sn3 single crystal is an excellent candidate to use for the study of the topological features in ferromagnets., Comment: accepted as a rapid communication in Phy. Co3Sn2S2, a quasi-two-dimensional system with kagome lattice, has been found as a magnetic Weyl semimetal recently. In this work, the anisotropies of magnetization and transport properties of Co3Sn2S2 were investigated. The high field measurements reveal a giant magnetocrystalline anisotropy with an out-of-plane saturation field of 0.9 kOe and an in-plane saturation field of 230 kOe at 2 K, showing a magnetocrystalline anisotropy coefficient Ku up to 8.3 * 10^5 J m-3, which indicates that it is extremely difficult to align the small moment of 0.29 {\mu}B/Co on the kagome lattice from c axis to ab plane. The out-of-plane angular dependences of Hall conductivity further reveal strong anisotropies in Berry curvature and ferromagnetism, and the vector directions of both are always parallel with each other. For in-plane situation, the longitudinal and transverse measurements for both I parallel a and I perpendicular a cases show that the transport on the kagome lattice is isotropic. These results provide essential understanding on the magnetization and transport behaviors for the magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2.

Topological materials are expected to show distinct transport signatures due to their unique band-inversion character and band-crossing points. However, the intentional modulation of such topological responses by experimentally feasible means is less explored. Here, an unusual elevation of anomalous Hall effect (AHE) is obtained in electron(Ni)-doped magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3-xNixSn2S2, showing peak values of anomalous Hall-conductivity, Hall-angle and Hall-factor at a relatively low doping level of x = 0.11. The separation of intrinsic and extrinsic contributions to total AHE using TYJ scaling model indicates that such significant enhancement is dominated by the intrinsic mechanism of electronic Berry curvature. Theoretical calculations reveal that compared with the Fermi-level shifting from electron filling, a usually overlooked effect of doping, i.e., local disorder, imposes a striking effect on broadening the bands and narrowing the inverted gap, and thus results in an elevation of the integrated Berry curvature. Our results not only realize the enhancement of AHE in a magnetic Weyl semimetal, but also provide a practical design principle to modulate the bands and transport properties in topological materials, by exploiting the disorder effect of doping.

Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) magnetic materials have recently been introduced as a new horizon in materials science and enable the potential applications for next-generation spintronic devices. Here, in this communication, the observations of stable Bloch-type magnetic skyrmions in single crystals of 2D vdW Fe3GeTe2 (FGT) are reported by using in-situ Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (TEM). We find the ground-state magnetic stripe domains in FGT transform into skyrmion bubbles when an external magnetic field is applied perpendicularly to the (001) thin plate with temperatures below the Curie-temperature TC. Most interestingly, a hexagonal lattice of skyrmion bubbles is obtained via field cooling manipulation with magnetic field applied along the [001] direction. Owing to their topological stability, the skyrmion bubble lattices are stable to large field-cooling tilted angles and further reproduced by utilizing the micromagnetic simulations. These observations directly demonstrate that the 2D vdW FGT possesses a rich variety of topological spin textures, being of a great promise candidate for future applications in the field of spintronics., Comment: 17 pages,5 figures. We report on the observation of a large topological Hall effect (THE) over a wide temperature region in a geometrically frustrated Fe3Sn2 magnet with a kagome-bilayer structure. We found that the magnitude of the THE resistivity increases with temperature and reaches -0.875 {\mu}{\Omega}.cm at 380 K. Moreover, the critical magnetic fields with the change of THE are consistent with the magnetic structure transformation, which indicates that the real-space fictitious magnetic field is proportional to the formation of magnetic skyrmions in Fe3Sn2. Understanding the dynamics of the magnetic skyrmion, a particle-like topologically stable spin texture, and its response dynamics to external fields are indis-pensable for the applications in spintronic devices. In this letter, the Lorentz transmis-sion electron microscopy (LTEM) was used to investigate the spin chirality of the mag-netic skyrmion bubbles (SKBs) in the centrosymmetric magnet MnNiGa at room tem-perature. The reversal of SKBs excited by the in-plane magnetic field has been revealed. Moreover, the collective behavior of interacting spin chirality can be manipulated by reversing the directions of the magnetic fields on a wedge-shaped thin plate. The dy-namic behavior of the bubbles at different position of the thin plate has been explored with the micromagnetic simulation, indicating a non-uniform and nontrivial dynamic magnetization on the surfaces and center of the thin plate during the spin chirality re-versal. The results suggest that the controllable symmetry breaking of the SKBs arising from thickness variation provides an ability to manipulate the collective behavior of the spin chirality with small external fields, leading to a promising application in nonvola-tile spintronic devices for magnetic skyrmions.
