Background The incidence rate of stroke is high and the risk of recurrence is substantial. Most stroke patients need to transition to home after treatment, and the experience during this period is complex. Therefore, there is an urgent need to comprehensively understand experiences and feelings of patients during hospital to home transition through Meta-integration. Objective To systematically evaluate qualitative studies on stroke patients' hospital to home transition experiences. Methods A computerized search was undertaken for qualitative studies on the hospital to home transition experience of stroke patients in the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Embase, CINAHL, PsycINFO, CNKI, and Wanfang Data from inception to July 11, 2023. The quality of the final included literature was evaluated using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Quality Evaluation Criteria for Qualitative Research (2016), Australia, and the results were combined using a pooled integration approach. Results A total of 13 studies were included, and 46 findings were distilled and categorized into 7 categories, yielding three final integrative findings: dynamic changes in the physical and psychosocial dimensions have interactive effects; a strong need for holistic caregiving; and active coping with illness and gradual transition to a new life norm. Conclusion During the period of transition from hospital to home, stroke patients face complex physical and mental challenges as well as multi-level care needs. Healthcare providers should pay attention to the real experiences and unmet needs of stroke patients throughout the hospital to home transition, provide holistic and continuous care services, and facilitate the comprehensive physical, psychological and social transition for patients.

Background With China's aging population, the incidence of stroke is increasing year by year, and the high disability rate places a significant burden on patients, families, and society. It is extremely important to strengthen the rehabilitation self-efficacy of home-based stroke patients in order to assist them return to society as soon as feasible. Currently, less emphasis is being paid to the influence of environmental factors on rehabilitation self-efficacy in stroke. Objective To investigate the current status of rehabilitation self-efficacy of stroke patients in community, and explore the influence of different environmental factors on rehabilitation self-efficacy of stroke patients. Methods Using convenience sampling, from December 2019 to September 2020, 262 stroke patients in the subordinate communities of 4 community health service centers in Zhengzhou, Henan Province were enrolled in the survey. The Demographic Information Questionnaire was used to collect general data, the Modified Rankin Scale was used to assess the physical function of stroke patients, the Measure of Stroke Environment was used to assess the current situation of stroke environment, and the Chinese Version of Stroke Self-efficacy Questionnaire was used to assess the rehabilitation self-efficacy of stroke patients. The effects of various environmental factors on rehabilitation self-efficacy of stroke patients were investigated by hierarchical regression analysis. Results A total of 285 questionnaires were distributed, a total of 262 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective response rate of 91.93%. Background Previous studies have found that 25%-85% of stroke patients develop post-stroke fatigue (PSF) , and continuous feeling of fatigue seriously affects patients' daily life and rehabilitation process. Therefore, it is urgent to understand the psychological experience and needs of such patients. However, the results of previous single qualitative studies may not be representative. Objective To systematically review and integrate qualitative studies on the fatigue experience of patients with PSF, so as to provide a reference for the construction of management strategies for PSF patients. Methods PsycINFO, PubMed, Web of Science, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Evidence-Based Health Care database, CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, CBM were searched by computer to screen qualitative studies on fatigue experience of patients with PSF from inception to July 5, 2023. JBI Critical Appraisal Tool for qualitative studies in Australia was used to evaluate the quality of included literature, and Meta-synthesis was performed to integrate results. Results A total of 10 papers were included, and 22 primary outcomes were distilled, grouped into 8 categories, and synthesized into 4 integrated outcomes, including significant lack of cognition of PSF; intricate negative physical and psychological experience; different self-regulation of PSF and multiple needs for PSF rehabilitation. Conclusion PSF patients have insufficient cognition of fatigue with significant negative physical and psychological experience. Therefore, PSF patients should be identified and screened at an early stage with strengthened fatigue education and personalized fatigue management strategies. Emphasis should also be placed on the role of community and family in the management of fatigue, so that they can work together with healthcare professionals to provide a favorable rehabilitation environment for PSF patients.

BackgroundAs a kind of unhealthy lifestyle, sedentary behavior is closely related to poor prognosis of stroke patients. So it is of great significance to understand sedentary behavior prevalence in stroke patients, and to formulate intervention measures based on its influencing factors.ObjectiveTo investigate sedentary behavior prevalence and associated factors in stroke patients in the community, providing a reference for the development of targeted interventions.MethodsFrom August to December 2020, by use of convenience sampling, 230 eligible community stroke patients from Zhengzhou (including individuals who underwent reexaminations in neurology and neurosurgery clinics of three grade A tertiary hospitals and those who were from three communities) were selected to attend a survey using Demographic Questionnaire, Sedentary Behavior Questionnaire, the Chinese version of Fatigue Severity Scale, the Chinese version of Stroke Self-Efficacy Questionnaire, and Social Support Scale. Binary Logistic regression analysis was used to explore associated factors of sedentary behavior.ResultsThe survey achieved a response rate of 97.8%. The average daily sedentary time of the respondents was (7.10±2.75) hours, and 179 cases (79.6%) had daily sedentary time ≥5 hours. To develop and evaluate the psychometric properties of the Self-Care of Stroke Inventory (SCSI). A cross-sectional, instrument development and the psychometric testing study was conducted. A 23-item self-report Self-Care of Stroke Inventory with 3 separate scales was developed. This study involved three stages: (a) Initial items generation; (b) Content and face validation; (c) Psychometric properties evaluation. The SCSI was validated by content validity, construct validity, convergent validity, internal consistency, and test-retest reliability. From the initial 80-item pool, 24 items of 3 scales in the SCSI were retained by the expert consultation and item analysis. The scale's content validity was 0.976, 0.966, and 0.973. The EFA showed the total variance explained by the 3 scales of the SCSI were 73.417%, 74.281%, and 80.207%, respectively. The models of the 3 scales identified by EFA were all confirmed by the CFA. The SCSI scale shows evidence of good convergent validity. Cronbach's αs were 0.830, 0.930, and 0.831. Test-retest reliability of the SCSI was excellent, with an intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.945, 0.907, and 0.837. The final 23-item SCSI presents good psychometric properties and can be used to explore the self-care of stroke in community settings. Information processing theory was applied to explore how external information processing and internal information sharing affect a firm's choice of a green strategy. Analyses of two datasets from Chinese manufacturing firms reveal that environment scanning and inter‐functional coordination are important drivers for the adoption of a green strategy. Specifically, firms that engage in extensive environment scanning tend to adopt reactive as opposed to proactive green strategies, whereas firms with effective inter‐functional coordination mechanisms tend to adopt proactive rather than reactive green strategies. An entrepreneurial orientation plays a complementary role in a firm's choice of green strategy. It increases the likelihood that a firm will adopt proactive rather than reactive green strategies, and it further strengthens the influences of environment scanning and inter‐functional coordination. Overall, these findings offer significant implications for firms regarding how and under what conditions they should adopt green strategies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objectives: This study aims to describe the experience and practice of an intervention process for mental health crisis with 14,093 students living in a suddenly quarantined campus during the COVID‐19 pandemic. Methods: An expert committee of psychiatrists, psychologists and student counsellors was formed to manage the psychological crisis experienced by students. The committee provided online and onsite support, disclosed timely information, attended various online courses and facilitated various activities. Using the PHQ‐9, GAD‐7 and ISI scales, psychological weekly reports, student files and emergencies, students who were likely to have a crisis event were screened, and their degree of crisis was evaluated. A "one person–one case–one team" intervention was conducted for high‐risk students. Results: Of the 14,093 students, 11,121 finished all three online questionnaires. Based on the results of the screening tests, 732 students were placed in the prioritised attention group, 293 in the crisis group and 33 (10 [3.41%] male and 23 [7.85%] female) showed severe suicidal intentions. In total, 186 (3.26%) students declared poor sleep quality, while 610 (10.05%) students were found to have depression. The number of students affected with generalised anxiety was 650 (10.77%). Clinical intervention was successful with no untoward incidents. Conclusions: With strong support from the government, and the cooperation between multidisciplinary experts and the comprehensive intervention programme, the study obtained positive results. However, the limitations include the partial online survey responses and incomplete records of intervention. Nevertheless, the findings of this study could provide a foundation for further research.
