Background Schizophrenia is considered as one of the top 10 leading causes of disability and life survival time threatening, which is the main cause of mental disability. There are relatively few researches on early intervention and health management for patients with mental disability in China and abroad. In particular, there is a lack of research on interventions for mental disability at different time points in China. Objective To explore the effect of disability point matching (DPM) intervention programme based on intervention mapping theory on degree of disability, negative symptoms, insight, self-esteem level and family function in patients with schizophrenia disability. Methods A quasi-experimental study design was used in the research. The patients at P1 (disability1~0.05), there were main effects and interaction effects of time and group in the APGAR score at P1 after DPM intervention (P>0.05). This paper explores high sensitivity fiber optic sensors based on lossy mode resonance (LMR). The sensitivity enhancement is achieved by simultaneously optimizing the diameter of the fiber core and the length of sensing region. The influence of these factors on the sensor sensitivity was analyzed by simulation using the transfer matrix method (TMM) and verified by experiments. The simulation results show that the sensor has high sensitivity and a narrow full width at half maxima when the sensing area is 10 mm. The sensitivity was as high as 3261 nm/refractive index units (RIU) when the core diameter is 200 μm. The experimental results have the same trend as the simulations, with a maximum value of 3100 nm/RIU. The resolution of the sensor may be as high as 1.29 × 10−8 RIU using a spectrometer with a resolution of 0.04 pm. The sensor was also shown to be relatively precise and stable. Since no systematic study concerning the influence of combining the sensing area length and fiber diameter on the sensor performance index yet has been published, this paper provides a reference for future characterization of high-sensitivity and high-precision optical fiber LMR sensors. Introduction: Knee osteoarthritis represents the prevalent and incapacitating disease. Acupuncture, a widely used clinical treatment for knee osteoarthritis, has been shown to ameliorate pain and enhance joint function in affected individuals. However, there is a lack of evidence comparing different courses of acupuncture for knee osteoarthritis. In this trial, we will assess the effect of 4 weeks vs 8 weeks of acupuncture in patients with knee osteoarthritis., Methods and Analysis: The protocol is a pragmatic, parallel, two-arm randomised controlled trial, with the data analyst and assessor being blinded. 148 eligible patients with knee osteoarthritis will be randomly allocated in a 1:1 ratio to receive 4-week or 8-week acupuncture. Electroacupuncture will be administered three times per week for 4 or 8 weeks, respectively. Patients with knee osteoarthritis in both groups will be followed up to 26 weeks. The primary outcome is the response rate at week 26, and secondary outcomes include knee joint pain, knee joint function, knee joint stiffness, quality of life, patient global assessment, the Osteoarthritis Research Society International response rate and rescue medicine. A cost-effectiveness analysis will be carried out over 26 weeks., Ethics and Dissemination: The protocol has been approved by the Medical Ethical Committee of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (2023BZYL0506). The study findings will be disseminated through presentation in a medical journal.
