This study focuses on applying intelligent translation systems in assisting high-quality English writing in the Internet era. The study analyzes statistical machine translation techniques, especially N-gram language modeling and word alignment techniques, and their crucial role in translation quality improvement. In English writing, the intelligent translation system significantly improves the quality of students’ Writing through word block translation. By analyzing 320 students, the mean value of self-efficacy in writing skills of students in the high-quality writing group was 3.78, significantly higher than that of the low-quality group, which was 2.82. After the experiment, 0.57 students indicated that they would improve their English writing vocabulary with the aid of the Intelligent Translation System, which showed the potential of the Intelligent Translation System to enhance students’ interest in and autonomy in Writing. Average distribution analysis shows that word block usage positively correlates with writing performance, with an R Square value of 0.6726. The intelligent translation system improves students’ English writing and enhances their self-efficacy, which is of great significance to English teaching.

This study explores the application of information fusion technology in teaching art and design majors in colleges and universities, aiming to improve the teaching effect and students’ practical ability. The study adopts the flipped classroom teaching model and combines the multiple linear regression method to analyze the effectiveness of the teaching model. The model includes three stages: teaching preparation, teaching process and teaching reflection. The practice teaching system includes online and offline integration of on-campus practice, humanistic literacy practice, on-site participation practice and other multivariate systems. The study results showed that the students who adopted this teaching model scored 4.237, 4.388, and 4.186 (out of 5) in learning self-efficacy, learning adaptability, and learning engagement, respectively, indicating that the students were in the middle to upper level in these areas. The results of regression analysis showed that learning self-efficacy and learning adaptability had a significant positive effect on learning engagement. The conclusion indicates that the application of information fusion technology can significantly improve the learning self-efficacy, learning adaptability and learning engagement of art and design majors, thus improving the quality of teaching and students’ practical ability. This provides new perspectives and methods for teaching art design majors in colleges and universities.

This paper first investigates the statistical analysis algorithms of the relationship between teachers’ English proficiency and students’ English achievement, including multiple linear, quantile, and panel regression models. In the empirical analysis section, the relative relationships between various English proficiencies of teachers and their teaching abilities were explored by examining the relationships between English proficiencies of college teachers and their teaching abilities. Then, the association between college teachers’ English proficiency and students’ English achievement was explored through correlation and regression analyses, and covariance diagnostics were conducted to ensure the reliability of the results. The results showed that teachers’ English proficiency explained 27.5% of the variance in English achievement, where the coefficient β was 0.522. Demonstrating that teachers' English proficiency had a significant positive impact on English achievement.

Objective·To explore the expression of microRNA-30b-5p (miR-30b-5p) in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) rats and the effect of miR-30b-5p overexpression on ovarian granulosa cell (GC) autophagy.Methods·Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) was performed to establish a PCOS rat model, and real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) and Western blotting were performed to measure the expression of miR-30b-5p and autophagy-associated protein 5 homologue (Atg5) in the ovarian tissues of the normal group and PCOS group. Primary PCOS rat ovarian GCs were isolated and cultured, and divided into control group, miR-NC group, miR-30b-5p overexpression group, miR-30b-5p overexpression+pcDNA3.1-NC group, and miR-30b-5p overexpression+pcDNA3.1-Atg5 group. In addition, the ovarian GC of the normal group was taken as the blank group. MiR-30b-5p mimic, pcDNA3.1-Atg5 and the corresponding negative control were transfected into the cells, and 48 h after transfection, qRT-PCR was performed to measure the expression of miR-30b-5p and Atg5 mRNA of cells in each group to verify the transfection effect. CCK-8 and flow cytometer were performed to measure cell viability and apoptosis rate, respectively; immunofluorescence staining was performed to measure the positive expression of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3) in each group. Western blotting was performed to measure the protein expression of autophagy-related proteins Atg5, p62, Beclin-1 and LC3.Results·The expression level of miR-30b-5p in the ovarian tissue of the PCOS group was significantly lower than that of the normal group, and the levels of Atg5 mRNA and protein were significantly higher than those of the normal group (all P=0.000). After transfection, compared with the blank group, the miR-30b-5p level, apoptosis rate, and p62 protein level in the ovarian GC of the control group were significantly reduced, the Atg5 mRNA and protein levels, cell proliferation activity, LC3 positive cell percentage, Beclin-1 protein level and LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ ratio were significantly increased (all P=0.000). Compared with the control group, the miR-30b-5p level, apoptosis rate, and p62 protein level in the ovarian GC of the miR-30b-5p overexpression group were significantly increased, and the Atg5 mRNA and protein levels, cell proliferation activity, LC3 positive cell percentage, Beclin-1 protein level and LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰ ratio were significantly reduced (all P=0.000). Up-regulation of Atg5 can significantly attenuate the inhibitory effect of miR-30b-5p overexpression on ovarian GC proliferation and autophagy (all P=0.000).Conclusion·MiR-30b-5p is lowly expressed in PCOS; overexpression of miR-30b-5p can inhibit the proliferation and autophagy of ovarian GC in PCOS rats, and promote cell apoptosis, and its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of Atg5 expression.
