We study the regularity of the free boundary in one-phase Stefan problem with nonlinear operator. Using the Hodograph transform and a linearization technique, we prove that flat free boundaries are $C^{1, \alpha}$ in space and time. When the operator is concave (or convex) and smooth, the free boundary is smooth.

The Solar Upper Transition Region Imager (SUTRI) onboard the Space Advanced Technology demonstration satellite (SATech-01), which was launched to a sun-synchronous orbit at a height of 500 km in July 2022, aims to test the on-orbit performance of our newly developed Sc-Si multi-layer reflecting mirror and the 2kx2k EUV CMOS imaging camera and to take full-disk solar images at the Ne VII 46.5 nm spectral line with a filter width of 3 nm. SUTRI employs a Ritchey-Chretien optical system with an aperture of 18 cm. The on-orbit observations show that SUTRI images have a field of view of 41.6'x41.6' and a moderate spatial resolution of 8" without an image stabilization system. The normal cadence of SUTRI images is 30 s and the solar observation time is about 16 hours each day because the earth eclipse time accounts for about 1/3 of SATech-01's orbit period. Approximately 15 GB data is acquired each day and made available online after processing. SUTRI images are valuable as the Ne VII 46.5 nm line is formed at a temperature regime of 0.5 MK in the solar atmosphere, which has rarely been sampled by existing solar imagers. Solar Ring (SOR) is a proposed space science mission to monitor and study the Sun and inner heliosphere from a full 360{\deg} perspective in the ecliptic plane. It will deploy three 120{\deg}-separated spacecraft on the 1-AU orbit. The first spacecraft, S1, locates 30{\deg} upstream of the Earth, the second, S2, 90{\deg} downstream, and the third, S3, completes the configuration. This design with necessary science instruments, e.g., the Doppler-velocity and vector magnetic field imager, wide-angle coronagraph, and in-situ instruments, will allow us to establish many unprecedented capabilities: (1) provide simultaneous Doppler-velocity observations of the whole solar surface to understand the deep interior, (2) provide vector magnetograms of the whole photosphere - the inner boundary of the solar atmosphere and heliosphere, (3) provide the information of the whole lifetime evolution of solar featured structures, and (4) provide the whole view of solar transients and space weather in the inner heliosphere. With these capabilities, Solar Ring mission aims to address outstanding questions about the origin of solar cycle, the origin of solar eruptions and the origin of extreme space weather events. We study singular metrics of constant negative $Q$-curvature in the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^n$ for every $n \geq 1$. Precisely, we consider solutions to the problem \[ (-\Delta)^{n/2}u=-e^{nu}\quad \text{on}\quad\mathbb{R}^{n}\backslash \{0\}, \] under a finite volume condition $\Lambda:=\int_{\mathbb{R}^n}e^{nu}dx$. We classify all singular solutions of the above equation based on their behavior at infinity and zero. As a consequence of this, when $n=1,2$, we show that there is actually no singular solution. Then adapting a variational technique, we obtain that for any $n\geq 3$ and $\Lambda>0$, the equation admits solutions with prescribed asymptotic behavior. These solutions correspond to metrics of constant negative $Q$-curvature, which are either smooth or have a singularity at the origin of logarithmic or polynomial type. Let $\Sigma$ be a closed Riemann surface, $h$ a positive smooth function on $\Sigma$, $\rho$ and $\alpha$ real numbers. In this paper, we study a generalized mean field equation \begin{align*} -\Delta u=\rho\left(\dfrac{he^u}{\int_\Sigma he^u}-\dfrac{1}{\mathrm{Area}\left(\Sigma\right)}\right)+\alpha\left(u-\fint_{\Sigma}u\right), \end{align*} where $\Delta$ denotes the Laplace-Beltrami operator. We first derive a uniform bound for solutions when $\rho\in (8k\pi, 8(k+1)\pi)$ for some non-negative integer number $k\in \mathbb{N}$ and $\alpha\notin\mathrm{Spec}\left(-\Delta\right)\setminus\set{0}$. Then we obtain existence results for $\alpha<\lambda_1\left(\Sigma\right)$ by using the Leray-Schauder degree theory and the minimax method, where $\lambda_1\left(\Sigma\right)$ is the first positive eigenvalue for $-\Delta$.

The concept of the Solar Ring mission was gradually formed from L5/L4 mission concept, and the proposal of its pre-phase study was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in November 2018 and then by the Strategic Priority Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences in space sciences in May 2019. Solar Ring mission will be the first attempt to routinely monitor and study the Sun and inner heliosphere from a full 360-degree perspective in the ecliptic plane. The current preliminary design of the Solar Ring mission is to deploy six spacecraft, grouped in three pairs, on a sub-AU orbit around the Sun. The two spacecraft in each group are separated by about 30 degrees and every two groups by about 120 degrees. This configuration with necessary science payloads will allow us to establish three unprecedented capabilities: (1) determine the photospheric vector magnetic field with unambiguity, (2) provide 360-degree maps of the Sun and the inner heliosphere routinely, and (3) resolve the solar wind structures at multiple scales and multiple longitudes. With these capabilities, the Solar Ring mission aims to address the origin of solar cycle, the origin of solar eruptions, the origin of solar wind structures and the origin of severe space weather events.
