Forest carbon exchange is affected by various environmental variables, among which photosynthetically active radiation, temperature, saturated water vapor pressure deficit, and soil moisture content dominate. The global atmospheric temperature has risen significantly in recent decades, and the saturated water vapor pressure deficit has also increased, which has had a widespread and lasting impact on terrestrial carbon sinks. Here, using flux data from Mazongling in Jinzhai County from July 2020 to June 2023, the relationship between saturated water vapor pressure deficit and forest carbon flux was investigated on the basis of carbon flux changes in the forest ecosystem in response to environmental factors. Results revealed that vapor pressure deficit (VPD) and net ecosystem productivity (NEP) exhibited a quadratic relationship at the daily and monthly scales. When the VPD was greater than 1.2 kPa at the monthly scale, the NEP of the fir forest ecosystem decreased with increasing VPD. At the daily scale, the impact of the VPD on NEP was studied by month and season. The results revealed that the threshold value at which the VPD affected NEP differed across different months and seasons. Therefore, the VPD is an important factor in forest ecosystems and should be considered in the assessment of ecosystem carbon sinks. Previous research results preliminarily indicated that the Coal Failure Events (CFEs) that occurred during the process of Underground Pressure Relief Drilling (UPRD) represented the phenomenon of coal fracture and energy release. The research results had excellent value for the monitoring and response of pressure relief drilling while drilling, but there were still some special situations that needed to be analyzed and studied in actual on-site testing. So, through on-site testing and data statistical analysis, the study investigated the applicability of the innovative external Monitoring-While-Drilling (MWD) method for UPRD with more coal failure events and made a quantitative statistic of the CFEs and their relationship with abutment pressure to reveal the applicability of the external MWD method and characteristic of CFEs. The results showed that hundreds of CFEs were produced in the UPRD process, which must be removed to ensure the accuracy of the MWD method. Although CFEs bring recognition difficulties, they also provide conditions for studying their own distribution and characteristics. Results showed that more CFEs were produced in the depth of difficult drilling, which indicated that there was a positive correlation between the degree of difficulty in drilling and the number of CFEs. In addition, spectrum analysis showed that the depths with more CFE occurrence were more likely to produce high-frequency events. When the surrounding stress of drilling rocks is high, the occurrence of small fractures with a higher main frequency may become more frequent and consistent; more fractures with similar failure forms would occur, which may have a lower fractal dimension and promote the generation of more failure. Nonlinear charge transport, such as nonreciprocal longitudinal resistance and nonlinear Hall effect, has attracted considerable interest in probing the symmetries and topological properties of new materials. Recent research has revealed significant nonreciprocal longitudinal resistance and nonlinear Hall effect in MnBi2Te4, an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator, induced by the quantum metric dipole. However, the inconsistent response with charge density and conflicting C3z symmetry requirement necessitate a thorough understanding of factors affecting the nonlinear transport measurement. This study uncovers an experimental factor leading to significant nonlinear transport signals in MnBi2Te4, attributed to gate voltage oscillation from the application of large alternating current. Additionally, a methodology is proposed to suppress this effect by individually grounding the voltage electrodes during second-harmonic measurements. The investigation underscores the critical importance of assessing gate voltage oscillation's impact before determining the intrinsic nature of nonlinear transport in 2D material devices with an electrically connected operative gate electrode. Objective: We have used micro-computed tomography (CT) to elucidate the relationship between the muscle fibers in specimens with cleft palate. These findings could be useful for muscle reconstruction in cleft palate repair and to better understand cleft palate speech. Design: Cadaveric anatomical study. Participants: This study included three specimens with cleft palate Intervention: The specimens were stained with phosphomolybdic acid and scanned by Micro-CT. Main Outcome Measure(s): The anatomy of the muscles. Results: Using 2D projection images and 3D reconstruction models, subtle anatomical structures could be observed in the muscles. The attachment of the levator veli palatini (LVP) was not at the posterior edge of the hard palate or palatine aponeurosis (PA), but at the anterior 21.71-44.2% of the cleft edge. The palatopharyngeal (PP) was composed of two bundles: inferior and superior heads, which clasped the LVP. The uvularis was unevenly distributed, and located on both sides of the cleft edge, originating at the edge. The palatoglossus, superior constrictor of pharynx and anatomical structure around the pterygoid hamulus, were normal. The PA, PP and LVP were attached to the cleft edge from front to back, in that order. The position of the uvularis was not fixed. Conclusions: With the help of Micro-CT technology, detailed anatomical features and the relationship between muscles could be visualized. In the specimen with cleft palate, muscles in the soft palate were associated with the pharyngeal muscles, which formed the 3D "velopharyngeal muscles complex."
