Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharide (PSP) was extracted and purified from raw material obtained from P. sibiricum. The structural features of PSP were investigated by Congo red, circular dichroism spectrum, high‐performance gel permeation chromatography, scanning electron microscope, atomic force microscope, ultraviolet spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis. In vitro simulations were conducted to investigate the kinetics of PSP enzyme inhibition. Moreover, a type II diabetes mouse model (T2DM) with streptozotocin‐induced insulin resistance was established, and the indexes of lipid quadruple, insulin resistance index, oral glucose tolerance (OGTT), organ index, and pancreatic morphology of model mice were measured. The results showed that PSP mainly consists of monosaccharides, such as mannose, glucose, galactose, xylose, and arabinose. It also has a β‐glycosidic bond of a pyranose ring and an irregular reticulated aggregated structure with a triple helix. In vitro enzyme inhibition assays revealed that PSP acts as a reversible competitive inhibitor of α‐glucosidase and α‐amylase. Furthermore, PSP was found to reduce insulin resistance index, increase OGTT and serum insulin levels, decrease free fatty acid content to improve lipid metabolism, and lower glycated serum protein content to enhance glucose metabolism in T2DM mice, thereby leading to a reduction in blood glucose concentration. Additionally, PSP exhibited reparative effects on the damaged liver tissue cells and pancreatic tissue in T2DM mice. The experiment results provide a preliminary basis for the therapeutic mechanism of PSP about type II diabetes and a theoretical reference for application in food and pharmaceutical development. This paper focuses on firms in which insiders pledge their shares as collateral for loans. By investigating a natural experiment—China's enactment of provisions on share reductions that restrict pledge creditors' cashing-out behavior—we find that pledging firms exhibited more conservative financial reporting after the implementation than non-pledging firms. This effect was pronounced in firms with a higher ratio of pledged shares, a longer maturation period of the pledged shares, and more concentrated pledge creditors. Additionally, we show that pledging firms increased their accounting conservatism after the shock, leading to a lower risk of margin calls and stock price crashes. The effect on accounting conservatism was stronger in firms with controlling pledgers or when the pledge creditors were banks. Our results remained consistent after we performed several robustness tests. These behaviors are economically logical because the provisions heighten creditors' liquidity risk and the potential losses of loan default. Pledging shareholders embrace more accounting conservatism to mitigate creditors' concerns about agency costs and avoid triggering margin calls. Our findings provide direct support that creditors have a real demand for accounting conservatism and highlight the impact of shareholder-creditor conflicts on the financial reporting policies of pledging firms. Homogeneous electrocatalysts can indirect oxidate the high overpotential substrates through single‐electron transfer on the electrode surface, enabling efficient operation of organic electrosynthesis catalytic cycles. However, the problems of this chemistry still exist such as high dosage, difficult recovery, and low catalytic efficiency. Single‐atom catalysts (SACs) exhibit high atom utilization and excellent catalytic activity, hold great promise in addressing the limitations of homogeneous catalysts. In view of this, we have employed Fe‐SA@NC as an advanced redox mediator to try to change this situation. Fe‐SA@NC was synthesized using an encapsulation‐pyrolysis method, and it demonstrated remarkable performance as a redox mediator in a range of reported organic electrosynthesis reactions, and enabling the construction of various C−C/C−X bonds. Moreover, Fe‐SA@NC demonstrated a great potential in exploring new synthetic method for organic electrosynthesis. We employed it to develop a new electro‐oxidative ring‐opening transformation of cyclopropyl amides. In this new reaction system, Fe‐SA@NC showed good tolerance to drug molecules with complex structures, as well as enabling flow electrochemical syntheses and gram‐scale transformations. Single atomic catalysts have shown great potential in efficiently electro‐converting O2 to H2O2 with high selectivity. However, the impact of coordination environment and introduction of extra metallic aggregates on catalytic performance still remains unclear. Herein, first a series of carbon‐based catalysts with embedded coupling Ni single atomic sites and corresponding metallic nanoparticles at adjacent geometry is synthesized. Careful performance evaluation reveals NiSA/NiNP‐NSCNT catalyst with precisely controlled active centers of synergetic adjacent Ni‐N4S single sites and crystalline Ni nanoparticles exhibits a high H2O2 selectivity over 92.7% within a wide potential range (maximum selectivity can reach 98.4%). Theoretical studies uncover that spatially coupling single atomic NiN4S sites with metallic Ni aggregates in close proximity can optimize the adsorption behavior of key intermediates *OOH to achieve a nearly ideal binding strength, which thus affording a kinetically favorable pathway for H2O2 production. This strategy of manipulating the interaction between single atoms and metallic aggregates offers a promising direction to design new high‐performance catalysts for practical H2O2 electrosynthesis. In recent years, a few asparaginyl endopeptidases (AEPs) from certain higher plants have been identified as efficient peptide ligases with wide applications in protein labeling and cyclic peptide synthesis. Recently, we developed a NanoLuc Binary Technology (NanoBiT)‐based peptide ligase activity assay to identify more AEP‐type peptide ligases. Herein, we screened 61 bamboo species from 16 genera using this assay and detected AEP‐type peptide ligase activity in the crude extract of all tested bamboo leaves. From a popular bamboo species, Bambusa multiplex, we identified a full‐length AEP‐type peptide ligase candidate (BmAEP1) via transcriptomic sequencing. After its zymogen was overexpressed in Escherichia coli and self‐activated in vitro, BmAEP1 displayed high peptide ligase activity, but with considerable hydrolytic activity. After site‐directed mutagenesis of its ligase activity determinants, the mutant zymogen of [G238V]BmAEP1 was normally overexpressed in E. coli, but failed to activate itself. To resolve this problem, we developed a novel protease‐assisted activation approach in which trypsin was used to cleave the mutant zymogen and was then conveniently removed via ion‐exchange chromatography. After the noncovalently bound cap domain was dissociated from the catalytic core domain under acidic conditions, the recombinant [G238V]BmAEP1 displayed high peptide ligase activity with much lower hydrolytic activity and could efficiently catalyze inter‐molecular protein ligation and intramolecular peptide cyclization. Salmonella is considered as one of the most common zoonotic /foodborne pathogens in the world. The application of bacteriophages as novel antibacterial agents in food substrates has become an emerging strategy. Bacteriophages have the potential to control Salmonella contamination. We have isolated and characterized a broad-spectrum Salmonella phage, SP154, which can lyse 9 serotypes, including S. Enteritidis, S. Typhimurium, S. Pullorum, S. Arizonae, S. Dublin, S. Cholerasuis, S. Chester, S. 1, 4, [5], 12: i: –, and S. Derby, accounting for 81.9% of 144 isolates. SP154 showed a short latent period (40 min) and a high burst size (with the first rapid burst size at 107 PFUs/cell and the second rapid burst size at approximately 40 PFUs/cell). Furthermore, SP154 activity has higher survival rates across various environmental conditions, including pH 4.0–12.0 and temperatures ranging from 4 to 50 °C for 60 min, making it suitable for diverse food processing and storage applications. Significant reductions in live Salmonella were observed in different foods matrices such as milk and chicken meat, with a decrease of up to 1.9 log10 CFU/mL in milk contamination and a 1 log10 CFU/mL reduction in chicken meat. Whole genome sequencing analysis revealed that SP154 belongs to the genus Ithacavirus, subfamily Humphriesvirinae, within the family Schitoviridae. Phylogenetic analysis based on the terminase large subunit supported this classification, although an alternate tree using the tail spike protein gene suggested affiliation with the genus Kuttervirus, underscoring the limitations of relying on a single gene for phylogenetic inference. Importantly, no virulence or antibiotic resistance genes were detected in SP154. Our research highlights the potential of using SP154 for biocontrol of Salmonella in the food industry. All areas of the modern society are affected by fluorine chemistry. In particular, fluorine plays an important role in medical, pharmaceutical and agrochemical sciences. Amongst various fluoro-organic compounds, trifluoromethyl (CF3) group is valuable in applications such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and industrial chemicals. In the present study, following the strict OECD modelling principles, a quantitative structure–toxicity relationship (QSTR) modelling for the rat acute oral toxicity of trifluoromethyl compounds (TFMs) was established by genetic algorithm-multiple linear regression (GA-MLR) approach. All developed models were evaluated by various state-of-the-art validation metrics and the OECD principles. The best QSTR model included nine easily interpretable 2D molecular descriptors with clear physical and chemical significance. The mechanistic interpretation showed that the atom-type electro-topological state indices, molecular connectivity, ionization potential, lipophilicity and some autocorrelation coefficients are the main factors contributing to the acute oral toxicity of TFMs against rats. To validate that the selected 2D descriptors can effectively characterize the toxicity, we performed the chemical read-across analysis. We also compared the best QSTR model with public OPERA tool to demonstrate the reliability of the predictions. To further improve the prediction range of the QSTR model, we performed the consensus modelling. Finally, the optimum QSTR model was utilized to predict a true external set containing many untested/unknown TFMs for the first time. Overall, the developed model contributes to a more comprehensive safety assessment approach for novel CF3-containing pharmaceuticals or chemicals, reducing unnecessary chemical synthesis whilst saving the development cost of new drugs. Greenhouse production of fruits and vegetables in developed countries is challenged by labour scarcity and high labour costs. Robots offer a good solution for sustainable and cost-effective production. Acquiring accurate spatial information about relevant plant parts is vital for successful robot operation. Robot perception in greenhouses is challenging due to variations in plant appearance, viewpoints, and illumination. This paper proposes a keypoint-detection-based method using data from an RGB-D camera to estimate the 3D pose of peduncle nodes, which provides essential information to harvest the tomato bunches. Specifically, this paper proposes a method that detects four anatomical landmarks in the colour image and then integrates 3D point-cloud information to determine the 3D pose. A comprehensive evaluation was conducted in a commercial greenhouse to gain insight into the performance of different parts of the method. The results showed: (1) high accuracy in object detection, achieving an Average Precision (AP) of AP@0.5=0.96 ; (2) an average Percentage of Detected Joints (PDJ) of the keypoints of PhDJ@0.2 = 94.31%; and (3) 3D pose estimation accuracy with mean absolute errors (MAE) of 11o and 10o for the relative upper and lower angles between the peduncle and main stem, respectively. Furthermore, the capability to handle variations in viewpoint was investigated, demonstrating the method was robust to view changes. However, canonical and higher views resulted in slightly higher performance compared to other views. Background : Both motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD) have a substantial detrimental influence on the patient's quality of life. The most effective treatment remains oral levodopa. All currently known treatments just address the symptoms; they do not completely reverse the condition. Methodology: In order to find literature on the creation of novel treatment agents and their efficacy for PD patients, we searched PubMed, Google Scholar, and other online libraries. Results : According to the most recent study on Parkinson's disease (PD), a great deal of work has been done in both the clinical and laboratory domains, and some current scientists have even been successful in developing novel therapies for PD patients. Conclusion : The quality of life for PD patients has increased as a result of recent research, and numerous innovative medications are being developed for PD therapy. Intensifying air pollution, especially airborne particulate pollution, has attracted growing public concerns due to its widespread and harmful effects on humans. Air filtration technology has received increasing attention as an effective solution, and the development of high-efficiency, low-resistance air filtration materials have become a common pursuit. Electrospun electret fibers are recognized as a promising candidate for high-performance filter media, especially benefiting from their in-situ charge injection during fiber forming, which can provide attractive electret effect to capture particles. Here, we overview electrospun electret fibers for air filtration, introduce the development of electret fibers and their mechanisms of air filtration, then focus on the summary of the electret principles and the current development of electrospun electret fibers, finally conclude the existing challenges and perspectives, aiming to provide a background for further development of electrospun electret fibers for air filtration. In present paper, structures and properties of degradation products of polystyrene (PS) waste were characterized by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), thermogravimetric (TG) analysis, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and thus the degradation conditions including temperature, time, and assistant type and dosage were investigated and optimized. It is suitable to use 1.0 wt% K2S2O8 as an assistant to degrade PS waste at 300°C for 24 h. Subsequently by sulfonation and neutralization reactions, the degraded PS was prepared into sodium polystyrene sulfonate (PSS), a common dispersant for coal‒water slurry (CWS). The performance of PSS with different molecular weights and sulfonation degrees was studied. Experimental results showed that the PSS with the sulfonation degree of more than 75%, prepared from the degraded PS having number average molecular weight (Mn) of about 9000, was appropriate for dispersion and stabilization of CWS suspensions. Additionally, compared with commercial dispersant NSF, the obtained PSS had a better performance for CWS. CWSs prepared with dispersant PSS exhibited pseudo-plastic or shear-thinning rheological behaviors. Specific detection of glycoproteins such as transferrin (TRF) related to neurological diseases, hepatoma and other diseases always plays an important role in the field of disease diagnosis. We designed an antibody-free immunoassay sensing method based on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) formed by the polymerization of multiple functional monomers for the sensitive and selective detection of TRF in human serum. In the sandwich surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) sensor, the TRF-oriented magnetic MIP nanoparticles (Fe3O4@SiO2–MIPs) served as capture units to specifically recognize TRF and 4-mercaptophenylboronic acid-functionalized gold nanorods (MPBA–Au NRs) served as SERS probes to label the targets. In order to achieve stronger interaction between the recognition cavities of the prepared MIPs and the different amino acid fragments that make up TRF, Fe3O4@SiO2–MIPs were obtained through polycondensation reactions between more silylating reagents, enhancing the specific recognition of the entire TRF protein and achieving high IF. This sensing method exhibited a good linear response to TRF within the TRF concentration range of 0.01 ng mL−1 to 1 mg mL−1 (R2 = 0.9974), and the LOD was 0.00407 ng mL−1 (S/N = 3). The good stability, reproducibility and specificity of the resulting MIP based SERS sensor were demonstrated. Background Purpose Methods Results Conclusions Head and neck (HN) gross tumor volume (GTV) auto‐segmentation is challenging due to the morphological complexity and low image contrast of targets. Multi‐modality images, including computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET), are used in the routine clinic to assist radiation oncologists for accurate GTV delineation. However, the availability of PET imaging may not always be guaranteed.To develop a deep learning segmentation framework for automated GTV delineation of HN cancers using a combination of PET/CT images, while addressing the challenge of missing PET data.Two datasets were included for this study: Dataset I: 524 (training) and 359 (testing) oropharyngeal cancer patients from different institutions with their PET/CT pairs provided by the HECKTOR Challenge; Dataset II: 90 HN patients(testing) from a local institution with their planning CT, PET/CT pairs. To handle potentially missing PET images, a model training strategy named the “Blank Channel” method was implemented. To simulate the absence of a PET image, a blank array with the same dimensions as the CT image was generated to meet the dual‐channel input requirement of the deep learning model. During the model training process, the model was randomly presented with either a real PET/CT pair or a blank/CT pair. This allowed the model to learn the relationship between the CT image and the corresponding GTV delineation based on available modalities. As a result, our model had the ability to handle flexible inputs during prediction, making it suitable for cases where PET images are missing.To evaluate the performance of our proposed model, we trained it using training patients from Dataset I and tested it with Dataset II. We compared our model (Model 1) with two other models which were trained for specific modality segmentations: Model 2 trained with only CT images, and Model 3 trained with real PET/CT pairs. The performance of the models was evaluated using quantitative metrics, including Dice similarity coefficient (DSC), mean surface distance (MSD), and 95% Hausdorff Distance (HD95). In addition, we evaluated our Model 1 and Model 3 using the 359 test cases in Dataset I.Our proposed model(Model 1) achieved promising results for GTV auto‐segmentation using PET/CT images, with the flexibility of missing PET images. Specifically, when assessed with only CT images in Dataset II, Model 1 achieved DSC of 0.56 ± 0.16, MSD of 3.4 ± 2.1 mm, and HD95 of 13.9 ± 7.6 mm. When the PET images were included, the performance of our model was improved to DSC of 0.62 ± 0.14, MSD of 2.8 ± 1.7 mm, and HD95 of 10.5 ± 6.5 mm. These results are comparable to those achieved by Model 2 and Model 3, illustrating Model 1′s effectiveness in utilizing flexible input modalities. Further analysis using the test dataset from Dataset I showed that Model 1 achieved an average DSC of 0.77, surpassing the overall average DSC of 0.72 among all participants in the HECKTOR Challenge.We successfully refined a multi‐modal segmentation tool for accurate GTV delineation for HN cancer. Our method addressed the issue of missing PET images by allowing flexible data input, thereby providing a practical solution for clinical settings where access to PET imaging may be limited. A cold energy utilization scheme for dual-energy heavy-duty trucks (DHDTs) using liquid hydrogen (LH 2) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) was proposed to reduce the evaporation loss of cryogenic fuel and enhance dormancy. High-performance thermal insulation of LH 2 and LNG tanks is realized by combinatorial design of LNG cooled shield (LNGCS), LH 2 cooled shield (LHCS) and multi-layer insulation (MLI). A thermodynamic model is established to optimize the positioning of LNGCS and LHCS within MLI system, and the impact of pressure and flow rate on heat leakage is analyzed, the reliability and environmental benefits of the cold energy utilization scheme is demonstrated for LNG and LH 2 DHDTs. The results showed that LHCS can eliminate heat flux entering the LNG tank through MLI, and the optimal position for LNGCS within MLI was determined to be 75%. The heat absorption of LNGCS and LHCS was found to be inversely proportional to pressure and directly proportional to flow rate. In contrast to tanks without cooled shields, the daily evaporation rates of LNG and LH 2 tanks decrease by 60.2% and 26.8% respectively. Continuously monitoring and mapping glacial lake variation is of great importance for determining changes in water resources and potential hazards in alpine cryospheric regions. The semi-automated glacial lake mapping methods used currently are hampered by inherent subjectivity and inefficiency. This study used improved YOLOv5 strategies to extract glacial lake boundaries from Sentinel-2 imagery. These strategies include using the space-to-depth technique to identify small glacial lakes, and adopting the coordinate attention and the convolution block attention modules to improve mapping performance and adaptability. In terms of glacial lake extraction, the improved YOLOv5-seg network achieved values of 0.95, 0.93, 0.96, and 0.94 for precision (P), recall (R), mAP_0.5, and the F1 score, respectively, indicating an overall improvement in performance of 12% compared to that of the newest YOLOv8 networks. In High Mountain Asia (HMA), 23,108 glacial lakes with a total area of 1847.5 km² were identified in imagery from 2022 using the proposed method. Compared with the use of manual interpretation for lake boundary extraction in test sites of HMA, the proposed method achieved values of 0.89, 0.87, and 0.86 for P, R, and the F1 score, respectively. Our proposed deep learning method has improved accuracy in glacial lake extraction because it can address the challenge represented by frozen or high-turbidity glacial lakes in HMA. Drought stress is one of the most severe natural disasters in terms of its frequency, length, impact intensity, and associated losses, making it a significant threat to agricultural productivity. Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), a C4 plant, shows a wide range of morphological, physiological, and biochemical adaptations in response to drought stress, paving the way for it to endure harsh environments. In arid environments, sorghum exhibits enhanced water uptake and reduced dissipation through its morphological activity, allowing it to withstand drought stress. Sorghum exhibits physiological and biochemical resistance to drought, primarily by adjusting its osmotic potential, scavenging reactive oxygen species, and changing the activities of its antioxidant enzymes. In addition, certain sorghum genes exhibit downregulation capabilities in response to drought stress. Therefore, in the current review, we explore drought tolerance in sorghum, encompassing its morphological characteristics and physiological mechanisms and the identification and selection of its functional genes. The use of modern biotechnological and molecular biological approaches to improving sorghum resistance is critical for selecting and breeding drought-tolerant sorghum varieties. Here we report B(C6F5)3/CPA‐catalyzed enantioselective aza‐Diels–Alder reaction of 3,3‐difluoro‐2‐Aryl‐3H‐indoles with unactivated dienes to access chiral 10,10‐difluoro‐tetrahydropyrido[1,2‐a]indoles. This protocol allows the formation of pyrazole‐based C2‐quaternary indolin‐3‐ones with high enantioselectivities and regioselectivities. Moreover, gram‐scale synthesis of the 10,10‐difluoro‐tetrahydropyrido[1,2‐a]indole skeleton was successfully achieved without any reduction in both yield and enantioselectivity. Prestressing basalt‐fiber‐reinforced polymer (BFRP) bars and three types of fibers were used to enhance precast slabs during construction. Experimental investigation was conducted on one control slab and three reinforced slabs, while equations for the flexural behavior of slabs and optimization were performed. The results demonstrated that the addition of fibers had minimal impact on the compressive strength of concrete, but significantly improved its flexural strengths by up to 36%. Fibers and BFRP bars with a prestress level of 40% enhanced the cracking load by a range of 506% to 584%, and the ultimate load by a range of 28% to 48%, while exerting minimal influence on the yield load. Reinforced slabs exhibited a reduction in yield deflection ranging from 57% to 67%, along with a decrease in ultimate deflection ranging from 33% to 42%. Prestress played a crucial role in controlling slab cracks, whereas fiber type had only minor effects. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of post-abortion care services in Chinese women who have undergone induced abortion. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted in five databases from January 2011 to June 2023 (PROSPERO registration CRD42023440458). Estimates of intervention effects were represented as relative risk (RR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI). The Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) was used to evaluate the strength of recommendations. Results: The meta-analysis of 42 randomized controlled studies involving 70,126 participants indicated that post-abortion care services could significantly increase rate of effective contraceptive use (RR = 2.33, 95%CI = 1.80–3.00, 10 studies, GRADE (Medium)), reduce repeat abortion rate (RR = 0.26, 95%CI = 0.20–0.36, 19 studies, GRADE (High)), increase follow-up visit rate (RR = 1.37, 95%CI = 1.06–1.75, 5 studies, GRADE (Very low)) in one year after abortions, and improve patient satisfaction rate (RR = 1.37, 95%CI = 1.03–1.83, 9 studies, GRADE (High)). Conclusion: Post-abortion care services could help increase the rate of continuation of post-abortion effective contraceptives, prevent repeat abortions, and promote female fertility. The identification and detection of disease-related biomarkers is essential for early clinical diagnosis, evaluating disease progression, and for the development of therapeutics. Possessing the advantages of high sensitivity and selectivity, fluorescent probes have become effective tools for monitoring disease-related active molecules at the cellular level and in vivo. In this review, we describe current fluorescent probes designed for the detection and quantification of key bioactive molecules associated with common diseases, such as organ damage, inflammation, cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and brain disorders. We emphasize the strategies behind the design of fluorescent probes capable of disease biomarker detection and diagnosis and cover some aspects of combined diagnostic/therapeutic strategies based on regulating disease-related molecules. This review concludes with a discussion of the challenges and outlook for fluorescent probes, highlighting future avenues of research that should enable these probes to achieve accurate detection and identification of disease-related biomarkers for biomedical research and clinical applications. All three monomers undergo organocatalytic living/controlled ROP and controllable depolymerization. Copper(II) chloride anionic coordination complexes with different imidazole‐derived ligands due to the potential cytotoxic activity play the important role in protein. By investigating the experimental electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) spectra of [CuCl(C6H10N2)4]Cl, [CuCl(C6H10N2)4]Cl, [CuCl2(C4H6N2)4], and [Cu2Cl2(C5H8N2)6]Cl2·2H2O, the local structure of the corresponding Cu2+ centers and the role of different ligands are obtained. Based on the well‐agreed EPR parameters and the d‐d transitions (10Dq), the four Cu2+ centers show tetragonal and orthorhombic distortion, corresponding to the different anisotropies of EPR signals. In addition, the general rules of governing the impact of methanol in imidazolylalkyl derivatives are also discussed, especially the influence on the local environment (symmetry, distortion, covalency, and crystal field) of above four copper(II) chloride anionic coordination complexes. Therefore, the obtained results in this study will be beneficial to provide a theoretical basis for the experimental design of desired copper‐containing imidazolyl alkyl derivatives. We herein provided a systematical determination of the structural and magnetic properties, especially of the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) and magnetocaloric performances of four rare-earth oxychlorides, i. e., the RE OCl (RE = Ho, Dy, Tb and Gd) compounds. The studied RE OCl compounds are all crystallized in the tetragonal matlockite structure (P 4/ nmm space group) and the RE , O, and Cl elements are with the RE 3+, O2−, and Cl− valence states, respectively. The DyOCl, TbOCl and GdOCl compounds reveal an antiferromagnetic transition at around approximate 9.5, 3.7 and 4.8 K, respectively. The magnetocaloric performances are checked by the maximum magnetic entropy change, relative cooling power, and temperature-averaged entropy change with 5 K lift, which are found to be 14.16 J/kgK, 375.55 J/kg and 13.89 J/kgK for HoOCl, to be 14.88 J/kgK, 488.14 J/kg, and 14.60 J/kgK for DyOCl, to be 14.59 J/kgK, 419.67 J/kg, and 14.42 J/kgK for TbOCl, and to be 16.16 J/kgK, 213.68 J/kg, and 14.39 J/kgK for GdOCl, with the magnetic field change of 0–7 T, respectively. Copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) are attractive owing to their size- and shape-dependent properties, as well as their diverse applications. Therefore, the synthesis of environmentally friendly CuO NPs using low-toxicity reagents remains significant. In this study, a benign wet-chemical process was applied to synthesize CuO NPs in an alcohol-water mixture, employing copper acetate as the precursor and sodium oleate as the surfactant. Multiple experimental parameters, including water content, the molar ratio of sodium oleate to copper acetate, types of alcohols, and reaction temperature, were investigated to examine their effects on the formation and structures of the resulting products. Results from X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) confirmed the monoclinic crystalline structure of CuO NPs with an ultra-small size of less than 3 nm. The size of CuO NPs can be easily adjusted by altering the water content, the molar ratio of precursor to surfactant, and other factors. Quantum secure direct communication is a significant branch of quantum cryptography. Recently, a quantum secure direct communication scheme based on intermediate-basis was proposed (Liang et al. in Front Phys 18(5):51301, 2023 https://doi.org/10.1007/s11467-023-1284-4). It is believed that the scheme can improve the efficiencies of security detection and information encoding by utilizing the intermediate-basis. However, this paper points out two serious problems with the aforementioned scheme. Firstly, it fails to utilize two distinct bases since the intermediate-basis is merely a variant of the Bell basis. Accordingly, the quantum secure direct communication scheme based on intermediate-basis cannot achieve the promised high efficiency. Secondly, even if the intermediate-basis is substituted with another quantum basis, the modified quantum secure direct communication scheme cannot achieve the promised high efficiency because the receiver cannot correctly decode the secret message from the final entangled pairs. It is crucial to design correct and efficient quantum secure direct communication protocols. We propose a scheme to generate robust bipartite entanglement, genuine tripartite entanglement, and one-way steering in a hybrid cavity electro-optomechanical system with the help of a squeezed vacuum field. The system consists of an optical cavity, a mechanical resonator formed by a thin silicon nitride membrane, and two superconducting microwave circuits. The mechanical resonator is coupled to the optical cavity and two superconducting circuits simultaneously. We find there is steady-state entanglement between different modes and genuine tripartite entanglement among the cavity mode and two microwave modes which are robust against the thermal fluctuations of the mechanical mode. In addition, the robust one-way steering between two microwave modes can be generated by selecting appropriate squeezing parameter. In the realm of intelligent transportation systems, accurately predicting vehicle trajectories is paramount for enhancing road safety and optimizing traffic flow management. Addressing the impacts of complex traffic environments and efficiently modeling the diverse behaviors of vehicles are the key challenges at present. To achieve precise prediction of vehicle trajectories, it is essential to fully consider the dynamic changes in traffic conditions and the long-term dependencies of time-series data. In response to these challenges, we propose the Memory-Enhanced Spatio-Temporal Graph Network (MESTGN), an innovative model that integrates a Spatio-Temporal Graph Convolutional Network (STGCN) with an attention-enhanced Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-based sequence to sequence (Seq2Seq) encoder–decoder structure. MESTGN utilizes STGCN to capture the complex spatial dependencies between vehicles and reflects the interactions within the traffic network through road traffic data and network topology, which significantly influences trajectory prediction. Additionally, the model focuses on historical vehicle trajectory data points using an attention-weighted mechanism under a traditional LSTM prediction architecture, calculating the importance of critical trajectory points. Finally, our experiments conducted on the urban traffic dataset ApolloSpace validate the effectiveness of our proposed model. We demonstrate that MESTGN shows a significant performance improvement in vehicle trajectory prediction compared with existing mainstream models, thereby confirming its increased prediction accuracy. Immune cell function varies tremendously between individuals, posing a major challenge to emerging cellular immunotherapies. This report pursues the use of cell morphology as an indicator of high-level T cell function. Short-term spreading of T cells on planar, elastic surfaces was quantified by 11 morphological parameters and analyzed to identify effects of both intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Our findings identified morphological features that varied between T cells isolated from healthy donors and those from patients being treated for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). This approach also identified differences between cell responses to substrates of different elastic modulus. Combining multiple features through a machine learning approach such as Decision Tree or Random Forest provided an effective means for identifying whether T cells came from healthy or CLL donors. Simple Summary: Flowers are attractive to many people mainly due to their colourful and conspicuous perianth, which is closely related to successful insect pollination in extant angiosperms. The Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation (125 million years ago) in Northeastern China is famous for its great diversity of early angiosperms. However, unlike typical flowers in extant angiosperms, the previously documented fossil flowers are usually famous for their "nakedness", namely, they do not have typical petals (corolla), suggesting a pollination strategy for early angiosperms that is different than that of the extant angiosperms. However, without fossil evidence, whether there are petals (corolla) and whether androecium and gynoecium are protected in early flowers are rarely addressed questions. Here, we document a flower bud fossil, Archaebuda cretaceae sp. nov., from the Yixian Formation, which is the second case in the Formation. While reinforcing the truthful occurrence of fragile flower buds in the Early Cretaceous, new fossil evidence demonstrates the existence of gynoecium and possible androecium within the flower bud, suggestive of the possible bisexuality and the protection function of petals in Archaebuda, just as in extant flowers. In addition, it is very likely that conspicuous petals may have played an important role in attracting insects for successful pollination in early angiosperms. Therefore, the occurrence of petals (corolla) in Archaebuda cretaceae sheds a new light on the reproduction of early angiosperms. The Yixian Formation (Lower Cretaceous) in China is famous worldwide for its fossils of early angiosperms, but there has been only one record of flower buds (Archaebuda lingyuanensis) hitherto, in which only the surface of the flower bud was documented while no internal details were known. Such a partial knowledge of flower buds hinders our understanding of the evolution of flowers, and this knowledge lacuna needs to be filled. Our new specimen was collected from an outcrop of the Yixian Formation (Barremian–Aptian, Lower Cretaceous) near Dawangzhangzi, Lingyuan, Liaoning, China. Our observations reveal a new fossil flower bud, Archaebuda cretaceae sp. nov., from the Lower Cretaceous of China. This new record of Archaebuda in the Yixian Formation not only confirms the truthful existence of the expected gynoecium (plus possible androecium) in a flower bud but also underscores the occurrence of typical flowers in the Early Cretaceous. Objective: Existing evidence of the relationship between induced abortion and ectopic pregnancy has not been assessed rigorously. This systematic review provides a comprehensive evaluation to examine whether induced abortion (IA) can increase the rate of ectopic pregnancy (EP). Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane, CNKI, WanFang, and Sinomed databases since their inception until February 2023. Eligibility criteria included case‐control studies and cohort studies that analyzed induced abortion associated with ectopic pregnancy. Data analyses were conducted by using R‐studio Version 1.1.383 software. Results: A total of 33 case‐control studies and 7 cohort studies involving 132,926 participants were included. In case‐control studies, there was a significant association between induced abortion and ectopic pregnancy by using single‐factor analysis data (OR = 2.32, 95% CI = 1.81–2.98). Subgroup analysis by region suggested no statistical significance in the Americas (OR = 1.15, 95% CI = 0.92–1.43) and Eastern Mediterranean (OR = 3.64, 95% CI = 0.88–15.18). The relationship was significant by using multiple regression analysis data (OR = 1.97, 95% CI = 1.38–2.80). In cohort studies, statistical significance was found (OR = 1.42, 95% CI = 1.001–2.018) after omitting one study in sensitivity analysis. The combined results of the two types of studies suggested that induced abortion would increase the risk of ectopic pregnancy to some degree, but the conclusion needs to be considered with caution. Conclusion: This study indicated that IA could increase the risk of EP to some degree and the times of IA had a negative impact on the risk. Civil engineering structures under ambient excitations are essentially time-varying and nonlinear structural systems and the resultant response signals exhibit non-stationarity. To reveal the time-varying characteristics of non-stationary signals, time frequency analysis methods with high resolutions are required. Although synchroextracting short time Fourier transform (SESTFT) is able to generate more energy concentrated time frequency representations and allow signal reconstruction, its major disadvantage is the window function is fixed. To address this issue, an enhanced synchroextracting wavelet transform (ESEWT) method is proposed to refine frequency bands by combing synchroextracting and continuous wavelet transform. After that, dynamic optimization (DO) is used to extract instantaneous frequency (IF) curves within the refined frequency bands. Two numerical examples and an experimental study case are investigated to illustrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method. The results demonstrate that the proposed ESEWT is capable of extracting frequency bands more accurately and its combination with DO identifies IFs of non-stationary signals better than current time frequency analysis methods such as SESTFT. Due to its lightweight, high strength, good machinability, and low cost, aluminum alloy has been widely used in fields such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, and construction. Traditional manufacturing processes for aluminum alloys often suffer from low material utilization, complex procedures, and long manufacturing cycles. Therefore, more and more scholars are turning their attention to the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process for aluminum alloys, which has the advantages of high material utilization, good formability for complex structures, and short manufacturing cycles. However, the widespread promotion and application of LPBF aluminum alloys still face challenges. The excellent printable ability, favorable mechanical performance, and low manufacturing cost are the main factors affecting the applicability of the LPBF process for aluminum alloys. This paper reviews the research status of traditional aluminum alloy processing and LPBF aluminum alloy and makes a comparison from various aspects such as microstructures, mechanical properties, application scenarios, and manufacturing costs. At present, the LPBF manufacturing cost for aluminum alloys is 2–120 times higher than that of traditional manufacturing methods, with the discrepancy depending on the complexity of the part. Therefore, it is necessary to promote the further development and application of aluminum alloy 3D printing technology from three aspects: the development of aluminum matrix composite materials reinforced with nanoceramic particles, the development of micro-alloyed aluminum alloy powders specially designed for LPBF, and the development of new technologies and equipment to reduce the manufacturing cost of LPBF aluminum alloy. National power has been an important discriminative signal for the evolution of great power competition and international patterns in recent years, not only in terms of the relative resource scale of the state but also in terms of the efficiency of resource use. Based on the two levels of national resources and conversion mechanisms, this article uses the entropy method to establish national power comprehensive assessment index systems covering 144 countries and 38 indicators from 1990–2020. At the same time, based on power transition theory (PTT), this article uses quadratic assignment procedures to verify the relevance and interpretation of international bilateral relations in the national power gap. The conclusion is that technology and economic elements are especially important for national power, and the conversion mechanism is icing on the cake rather than a decisive factor. The competition among great powers is transformed into nontraditional competition rather than an arms race; the international pattern has gradually developed from one superpower to a multipolar trend, and the global economic and geopolitical center has transitioned to Asia. This research studies the impact of articles appearing in the top four journals for consumer research— JCR , JMR , JM , and JCP— by examining factors that influence scholarly, public, and practical impact. This conceptually distinguishes between "incongruent novelty" (novelty arising from incongruity between an article and other existing articles) and "recombinant novelty" (novelty based on drawing from more disparate references). Incongruent novelty is decomposed into two components: (1) topic incongruity—incongruity between an article's topic and other existing topics at the time and (2) article incongruity—incongruity between an article and other existing articles on the same primary topic. By integrating topic modeling and word embedding to measure these constructs, we demonstrate varying impacts of types of novelty on three types of impact. Overall, our findings illustrate that topic and article incongruity have effects above and beyond recombinant novelty. For both scholarly and public impact, our results suggest that moderately high topic incongruity has the largest influence, suggesting that researchers should address novel topics. Additionally, scholarly citations are positively affected by lower and higher (vs. moderate) levels of article incongruity, suggesting that researchers either engage in programmatic research or add a new approach to the existing research on a topic. To rapidly eliminate toluene from aqueous environments during leakage accidents, this paper synthesized porous silico-aluminate nanoparticles (SANs) via a hydrothermal method, using cost-effective and non-toxic natural kaolin as the basic raw material. The morphology and structure of the porous SANs were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and BET-specific surface area tests. The effects of different conditions, such as the dosage of porous SANs, initial concentration of toluene, temperature, capture time, and pH, on the adsorption performance of porous SANs were analyzed. The as-prepared SANs exhibited a high removal efficiency and rapid adsorption performance toward toluene in aqueous solution. Finally, the kinetics of the adsorption of toluene in aqueous solution by porous SANs were investigated. The mechanism of the adsorption of toluene by porous SANs was further discussed. Heavy metal ion pollution and pharmaceutical contamination pose severe threats to public health and the environment, necessitating the development of a highly efficient dual-functional electrochemical sensing material capable of detecting both heavy metal ions and pharmaceutical pollutants. In this investigation, we employed a simple hydrothermal method to grow a Ni 5 P 4 /Ni 2 P/C network-like nanosheet arrays on indium tin oxide (ITO) glass, successfully fabricating a dual-functional non-enzyme electrochemical sensor capable of detecting Cu2+ and Paracetamol (PA). The interconnected and uniform network structure of Ni 5 P 4 /Ni 2 P/C nanosheets vertically grows on the ITO substrate, forming a well-ordered nanosheet arrays. In a 0.1 M HAC-KAC (pH = 5.6) buffer solution, Ni 5 P 4 /Ni 2 P/C/ITO exhibits an ultra-wide linear range (31.25 pM–218.75 μM) and an ultra-low detection limit (10 pM) for Cu2+, along with excellent anti-interference ability, repeatability, and stability. In a buffer solution of 0.1 M PBS (pH = 7.4), Ni 5 P 4 /Ni 2 P/C/ITO displays a broad linear range (0.1–220 μM) and a low detection limit (30 nM) for PA, as well as good anti-interference ability, reproducibility, and stability. These remarkable sensing capabilities are primarily attributed to the small charge transfer resistance, large electrochemical active area, and abundant active sites of the electrode material. Chemical looping air separation (CLAS) represents a promising approach to use thermal energy for high-purity oxygen production. CeO 2 represents a class of material that uncouples oxygen using thermal energy, but the required temperature is usually very high (>1400 °C). This limits the potential use for CeO 2 -based materials in CLAS. This study reports a Pr doped CeO 2 oxygen sorbents for chemical looping air separation at ultra-low temperatures. The as-formed Ce 1-x Pr x O 2 solid solution can uncouple oxygen effectively, achieving a redox oxygen capacity of 0.88 wt% at isothermal condition as low as 500 °C. The redox oxygen capacity can be further enhanced to 1.63 wt% in temperature-swing cycles between 400 °C and 900 °C. Moreover, oxygen partial pressure-swing cycles show that the Ce 1-x Pr x O 2 solid solution maintains 95% of its redox oxygen capacity at oxygen partial pressure as low as 0.02 atm, indicating its potential applications in oxygen separation from diluted air. DFT calculations and other physio-chemical characterizations indicate that Pr doping can effectively reduce the oxygen vacancy formation energy, and gaseous oxygen is uncoupled when Pr4+ and Ce4+ are reduced in the Ce 1-x Pr x O 2 solid solution. In this paper, we study the genus two G-function which was introduced by Dubrovin, Liu and Zhang for the cubic elliptic orbifold. As results, we first prove the quasi-modularity for the descendant correlation functions of certain type in all genus. Then we prove any derivatives of the genus two G-function of certain type are quasi-modular forms after a mirror transformation. In particular, we compute the explicit closed formula for its certain first derivative. The H i 21 cm global signal from the Cosmic Dawn and the Epoch of Reionization (EoR) offers critical insights into the evolution of our Universe. Yet, its detection presents significant challenges, due to its extremely low signal-to-contamination ratio and complex instrumental systematics. In this paper, we examine the effects of the ionosphere and antenna beam on data analysis. The ionosphere, an ionized plasma layer in the Earth's atmosphere, refracts, absorbs, and emits radio waves in the relevant frequency range. This interaction results in additional spectral distortion of the observed signal, complicating the process of foreground subtraction. Additionally, chromatic variations in the beam can also introduce further contamination into the global spectrum measurement. Notably, the ionospheric effect, being dependent on the direction of incoming light, interacts with the instrumental beam, adding another layer of complexity. To address this, we evaluate three different fitting templates of foreground: the logarithmic polynomial, the physically motivated Experiment to Detect the Global EoR Signature (EDGES) template, and a singular value decomposition (SVD)-based template. Our findings indicate that the EDGES and SVD templates generally surpass logarithmic polynomials in performance. Recognizing the significance of beam chromaticity, we further investigate specific beam distortion models and their impacts on the signal extraction process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a toxic fungal metabolite that is commonly found in cereals and animal feed. It is economically damaging and potentially hazardous to human health. Herein, we propose an electrochemical immunosensor for the rapid detection of OTA using anti-OTA antibodies and diazonium-functionalized, screen-printed electrodes. We attached 4-aminobenzoic acid to an electrode surface, activated the carboxyl groups on the surface with carbodiimide, and attached an antibody to the diazo layer. Subsequently, we used bovine serum protein as a blocker to prevent non-specific antigens from binding to the antibody. We evaluated the performance of the sensor by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and differential pulse voltammetry. The sensor is highly specific and sensitive, has good linear responses in the range 20–200 ng/mL, a limit of detection of 0.5 ng/mL, and good recoveries of 90.5%–100.9% in spiked samples. It can be stored at 4 °C for approximately 2 weeks, and is highly stable, with a current response variation of no more than 4.6%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To solve the difficulty in correctly identifying a compound fault of rolling bearing, a method combining variational mode decomposition (VMD) and harmonic fusion vector bispectrum (HFVB) is proposed. Firstly, to achieve adaptive decomposition of signals, the characteristic ability of envelope entropy to represent signal sparsity is utilized. By employing the minimum envelope entropy as the fitness function for the sparrow search algorithm (SSA), the decomposition levels and penalty factors of VMD are adaptively determined. Secondly, root-mean-square value is treated as fault feature index to self-adaptively choose from intrinsic mode function (IMF) which can embody fault features of bearings. Thirdly, to further highlight fault features, HFVB is used to blend chosen IMFs. Finally, faults of bearings were recognized with spectrum of signals. To verify the effectiveness of proposed method, an analysis was given to vibration signals in different situations, and SSA-VMD-HFVB was compared with classical method. The results demonstrate that the proposed SSA-VMD-HFVB method facilitates the adaptive decomposition of VMD, enabling the selection and effective integration of sensitive fault component signals. The navigation safety of polar ships depends on accurate monitoring of ice conditions along the route. Complex polar environments but scarce ice datasets pose challenges for deep learning‐based object detection methods. To address this issue, we propose an ice monitoring method based on polar environment adaptive image enhancement. This approach adaptively augments the ice dataset by simulating polar environments such as snowflakes and aurora to improve the training precision of ice detection models in harsh polar environments and meet the needs of safe navigation of polar ships. First, an image augmentation method based on randomly generated snowflake textures is proposed to address the difficulty of covering polar storm scenarios in existing ice datasets, which leads to weak generalization of ice monitoring models. Second, targeting the problem that the boundary between ice and background is confused by aurora phenomena, which severely reduces the ice monitoring accuracy, we propose an image augmentation method based on aurora simulations to improve the ice monitoring performance of trained models under aurora. Finally, an adaptive image augmentation strategy based on the brightness‐contrast threshold is proposed to optimize the snowflake density and aurora intensity in the augmented images to improve the discrimination of ice boundaries. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, which improves the ice state detection accuracy from 0.640 to 0.950, thus providing a reliable guarantee for the safe navigation of polar ships. Sea cucumber-derived fungi have attracted much attention due to their capacity to produce an incredible variety of secondary metabolites. Genome-wide information on Aspergillus micronesiensis H39 obtained using third-generation sequencing technology (PacBio-SMRT) showed that the strain contains nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS)-like gene clusters, which aroused our interest in mining its secondary metabolites. 11 known compounds (1–11), including two γ-aromatic butenolides (γ-AB) and five cytochalasans, were isolated from A. micronesiensis H39. The structures of the compounds were determined by NMR and ESIMS, and comparison with those reported in the literature. From the perspective of biogenetic origins, the γ-butyrolactone core of compounds 1 and 2 was assembled by NRPS-like enzyme. All of the obtained compounds showed no inhibitory activity against drug-resistant bacteria and fungi, as well as compounds 1 and 2 had no anti-angiogenic activity against zebrafish. Polysaccharides are biomacromolecular widely applied in the food industry, as gelling agents, thickeners and health supplements. As hydrophobic groups, acetyls provide amphiphilicity to polysaccharides with numerous hydroxyl groups, which greatly expand the presence of polysaccharides in organic organisms and various chemical environments. Acetylation could result in diverseness and promotion of the structure of polysaccharides, which improve the physicochemical properties and biological activities. High efficient and environmentally friendly access to acetylated derivatives of different polysaccharides is being explored. This review discusses and summarizes acetylated polysaccharides in terms of synthetic methods, physicochemical properties and biological activities and emphasizes the structure-effect relationships introduced by acetyl groups to reveal the potential mechanism of acetylated polysaccharides. Acetyls with different contents and substitution sites could change the molecular weight, monosaccharide composition and spatial architecture of polysaccharides, resulting in differences among properties such as water solubility, emulsification and crystallinity. Coupled with acetyls, polysaccharides have increased antioxidant, immunomodulatory, antitumor, and pro-prebiotic capacities. In addition, their possible applications have also been discussed in green food materials, bioactive ingredient carriers and functional food products, indicating that acetylated polysaccharides hold a clear vision in food health and industrial development. Different catalysts and reagents could be chosen for acetylated polysaccharides preparation. Changes in structure properties of acetyl groups can affect physical and biological activities. Background: Acute pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) is a common cardiovascular disease and recognizing low prognosis risk patients with PTE accurately is significant for clinical treatment. This study evaluated the value of federated learning (FL) technology in PTE prognosis risk assessment while ensuring the security of clinical data. Methods: A retrospective dataset consisted of PTE patients from 12 hospitals were collected, and 19 physical indicators of patients were included to train the FL-based prognosis assessment model to predict the 30-day death event. Firstly, multiple machine learning methods based on FL were compared to choose the superior model. And then performance of models trained on the independent (IID) and non-independent identical distributed(Non-IID) datasets was calculated and they were tested further on Real-world data. Besides, the optimal model was compared with pulmonary embolism severity index (PESI), simplified PESI (sPESI), Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). Results: The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of logistic regression(0.842) outperformed convolutional neural network (0.819) and multi layer perceptron (0.784). Under IID, AUC of model trained using FL(Fed) on the training, validation and test sets was 0.852 ± 0.002, 0.867 ± 0.012 and 0.829 ± 0.004. Under Real-world, AUC of Fed was 0.855 ± 0.005, 0.882 ± 0.003 and 0.835 ± 0.005. Under IID and Real-world, AUC of Fed surpassed centralization model(NonFed) (0.847 ± 0.001, 0.841 ± 0.001 and 0.811 ± 0.001). Under Non-IID, although AUC of Fed (0.846 ± 0.047) outperformed NonFed (0.841 ± 0.001) on validation set, it (0.821 ± 0.016 and 0.799 ± 0.031) slightly lagged behind NonFed (0.847 ± 0.001 and 0.811 ± 0.001) on the training and test sets. In practice, AUC of Fed (0.853, 0.884 and 0.842) outshone PESI (0.812, 0.789 and 0.791), sPESI (0.817, 0.770 and 0.786) and PUMCH(0.848, 0.814 and 0.832) on the training, validation and test sets. Additionally, Fed (0.842) exhibited higher AUC values across test sets compared to those trained directly on the clients (0.758, 0.801, 0.783, 0.741, 0.788). Conclusions: In this study, the FL based machine learning model demonstrated commendable efficacy on PTE prognostic risk prediction, rendering it well-suited for deployment in hospitals. This article presents a fault‐tolerant platooning control algorithm for a class of nonlinear homogeneous multi‐vehicle systems under unreliable network communication environment. The considered types of actuator failures in individual vehicle are loss‐in‐effectiveness, and bias faults. Suppose the communication network among vehicles is here described as a switching graph subject to intermittent communications. Unlike the existing results dealing with vehicle platoon under continuous communications, this article develops a hierarchical fault‐tolerant platooning control approach, under which, the multiple vehicle coordination platooning objective is ensured even in the cases of discontinuous communication faults and actuator failures. First, each following vehicle can estimate the desire reference information via cooperative adaptive virtual estimator even in intermittent communications. Second, the local fault‐tolerant controller with adaptive parameter update mechanism can guarantee the practical position and velocity of following vehicles asymptotically track the desire estimations.
