Abstract

Protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) is a rare manifestation of various gastrointestinal and systemic diseases. The main symptom are edemas due to protein loss through affected intestinal mucosa. In the article, we presented a case report of a patient with protein-losing enteropathy caused by a disease of lymphatic vessels located in the gastrointestinal tract.
