High thrust nuclear-powered spacecraft is the key technology for deep space exploration and low Earth orbit transportation in the future, the nuclear thermal propulsion system has the advantages of high specific impulse, high thrust, long operating life and repeatable start-up, which can provide reliable power support for future deep space exploration missions. Multi-element (U, Zr, Nb)C fuel is one of the selected fuels for high-power space nuclear propulsion reactors due to its high melting point, high thermal conductivity, low fission gas release rate and excellent high-temperature mechanical properties. In this paper, multi-element (U, Zr, Nb)C fuel pellets were prepared by powder metallurgy process combining carbothermal reduction and liquid phase sintering. The mechanism and influence of process parameters on reaction kinetics, phase structure, thermal conductivity and microstructure of sintered pellets were studied. The results show that according to the calculation of reaction thermodynamics, the carbothermal reduction temperatures for UO2 and Nb2O5 are 2 122 K and 1 206 K at standard pressure, respectively; Under the sintering conditions of 1 800℃, 50 MPa and 1 h, the pellet density can reach 95.5%TD by adding 0.5% metallic uranium to form liquid phase sintering, liquid phase sintering accelerates the densification process of the pellets; When the raw material M/C (M is the total metal element) is 1:6.5, the stoichiometric carbide fuel with M/C ratio of 1 can be prepared, using ZrC powders as raw materials can not only reduce the reaction temperature, but also reduce the difficulty of adjusting the M/C ratio of the reaction product; The lattice constant of (U0.2, Zr, Nb)C is slightly higher than that of (U0.1, Zr, Nb)C; The thermal conductivity of carbide fuel is related to phase composition, density and temperature; The thermal conductivity of (U0.1, Zr, Nb)C and (U0.2, Zr, Nb)C fuels increases with the increase of the content of uranium carbide, and the increase of Zr content is beneficial to the increase of the thermal conductivity of the pellets, the thermal conductivity of (U0.1, Zr, Nb)C and (U0.2, Zr, Nb)C pellets are 17.89 W/(m·K) and 18.81 W/(m·K), respectively. With the increase of sintering density, the thermal conductivity of (U, Zr, Nb)C fuels increases, and the fuels with different compositions show different thermal conductivity changing trend under the same sintering density. The thermal conductivity of (U0.1, Zr0.55, Nb0.35)C and (U0.2, Zr0.5, Nb0.3)C pellets at 90%TD relative density are 16.43 W/(m·K) and 17.90 W/(m·K), respectively, and the thermal conductivity decreases by 8.2% and 4.8% respectively compared with that at 94%TD theoretical density. The pore distribution of the pellet is relatively uniform, there is no connected open pore, and the pore size is 1-3 μm.

Objective To explore the improvement of noninvasive electrostatic field stimulation (NEFS) on neurocognitive impairment mice induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Methods Forty-eight female C57 mice aged 3 months were divided into the CTL group, the NaCl+NEFS group, the LPS+SHAM group and the LPS+NEFS group, with 12 mice in each group. Both the LPS+NEFS group and the LPS+SHAM group were injected with 2 mg/kg LPS intraperitoneally to establish the mouse model of neurocognitive impairment, and after the model was constructed, they were treated with NEFS for 4 d, during which the LPS+NEFS group received an electrostatic field of 160 kV/m for 30 min/d while the LPS+SHAM group were only stimulated by an electrostatic field of 0 kV/m for 3 s/d. The NaCl+NEFS group was injected with the same amount of 0.9% normal saline instead of LPS and stimulated by electrostatic field (160 kV/m); The CTL group was a no-treatment group. After NEFS, the cognitive ability of mice was observed by T maze experiment (T-maze) and the new object recognition (NOR) experiment. Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the number of hippocampal neurons in mice, and immunofluorescence method was used to detect the changes of hippocampal astrocytes. Results Compared with the results of behavioral experiment and morphological observation of the CTL group, the learning and memory abilities of the LPS+SHAM group in T-maze and NOR was significantly weakened (P < 0.05), and the number of neurons in hippocampus decreased significantly while the number of activated astrocytes increased significantly (P < 0.05). Furthermore, compared with the LPS+SHAM group, the learning and memory abilities of the LPS+NEFS group in T-maze and NOR was significantly improved (P < 0.05), and the number of neurons in hippocampus was also significantly increased (P < 0.05), and the proliferation of astrocytes was significantly inhibited (P < 0.05). Conclusion Intraperitoneal injection of 2 mg/kg LPS can establish neurocognitive impairment model, and NEFS has protective effect on LPS-induced neurocognitive impairment in mice. The Early‐Middle Jurassic is one of the crucial coal‐forming geologic periods in the world and an important target for hydrocarbon exploration in the Turpan‐Hami Basin, China. The paleoenvironment and vegetation reconstruction of the Early‐Middle Jurassic have been investigated using elemental geochemistry and palynological analysis to reveal paleoclimate evolution. A total of 48 genera of pteridophyte spore and 35 genera of gymnosperm pollen were identified, and 5 palynological assemblages were longitudinally divided, which showed significant differences in geochemical behaviours. The paleoenvironment was a transition from suboxidation to anoxia and then to an oxidation environment under freshwater conditions. The paleowater in the northern Taibei Sag was deeper than that in the southern part during the Middle Jurassic, which coincided with the sedimentary background of the sublacustrine fan in the north and the shallow braided river delta in the south. The paleovegetation evolved from mixed lowland–upland forest in the Hettangian‐Toarcian, to lowland fern forest in the Aalenian‐Bajocian, to upland conifers forest in the early Bathonian, to upland Cheirolepidiaceae forest in the late Bathonian‐Callovian. The Toarcian and Bathonian‐Callovian arid climate and the Hettangian‐Pliensbachian and Aalenian‐Bajocian warm‐humid climate were responses to the continued global warming events and the intensification of the East Asian monsoon circulation, respectively. The influence of the Bathonian‐Callovian aridification event on the sedimentary response in the southern Taibei Sag will be delayed due to the gradual southward migration of the depositional centre.
