To further enhance the performance of the fast tool servo (FTS) system in terms of stroke, load capacity, and application area, this paper proposes a novel fast tool servo device driven by a voice coil motor (VCM), based on a three-segment uniform corrugated flexure (CF) guiding mechanism, with a large stroke, high accuracy, and high dynamics. To describe the unified static characteristics of such device, the compliance matrix method is applied to establish its model, where the influence of CF beam structural parameters on the FTS device is investigated in detail. Furthermore, resolution and positioning accuracy tests are conducted to validate the features of the system. The testing results indicate that the maximum stroke of the FTS device is up to 3.5 mm and the positioning resolution values are 3.6 μm and 2.4 μm for positive and negative stroke, respectively, which further verifies the device's effectiveness and promising application prospect in ultra-precision microstructure machining. At present, the LiDAR system can achieve high precision and is extensively used for indoor and outdoor mobile positioning and mapping. However, LiDAR systems still face issues in cluttered environments where strong features are absent, leading to a degradation of the LiDAR-based solution. When the carrier movement involves high-speed or prolonged exposure to the mirror wall, it can cause severe degradation issues or even positioning failures in the laser slam system. Event cameras are vision sensors inspired by biology that exhibit strong robustness in high dynamic and low texture environments, potentially leading to better performance in such environments. However, some issues with event cameras remain unresolved. In this paper, a multi-source fusion method based on EVIO, LIO and IMU trajectory layer post-processing method is proposed, which will fully consider the robustness of event camera in high dynamic environment and the high precision advantage of Lidar in conventional environment, and use an algorithm based on normalized uncertainty. The elastic multi-source fusion of event camera and LiDAR is realized and tested in realde environment. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy of event camera and LiDAR. Compared to the current more advanced algorithms, the proposed algorithm effectively addresses the problem of LIO in degraded environments. Additionally, it mitigates the scale inaccuracy and divergence of the EVIO trajectory to some extent. Compared to LIO, the algorithm can reduce the maximum position error by approximately 30% and increase the overall position accuracy by 32%. Additionally, it can significantly constrain the divergence of errors in the Y direction, improving its accuracy by about 75% and 65% compared to the LIO and EVIO algorithms, respectively. To study the relationship between macro characteristics of coal spontaneous combustion and microstructure of free radical, the temperature programmed oxidation experiments for the coal sample was carried out using the coal spontaneous combustion temperature programmed experimental device and the change law of macroscopic characterization parameters of coal samples with different inhibitors at different conditions were studied. Electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer was used to study the change of free radical produced by covalent breaking of coal molecule, Based on the microscopic analysis of macroscopic characterization parameters, the relationship between the macro and micro characteristics of different coal sample was studied, the micro- cosmic mechanism explanation of macroscopic parameters of spontaneous combustion of coal was obtained as following: the difficulty of coal oxidation depends on the increase rate of the free radicals concentration after the oxidation. The mechanism of the resistance of inorganic phosphorus compounds is to use the inhibitor to delay the activities of some free radicals in coal. In the process of resistance, the free radicals produced by the decomposition of inorganic phosphorus compounds react with C-H and C=O, the effect of its resistance depends on whether the free radicals make some C=O reduction. Highlights The engineering structures with cutouts should consider both buckling and stiffness. Inspired by the multi‐level leaf veins, in this paper, the skeleton of the grid‐honeycomb sandwich structure was designed in the hierarchical form, and combined with the cutout characteristics of the side walls of the railway vehicle body, the multi‐objective stiffness and mass optimization of the skeleton layout under buckling constraints was achieved. The cutout honeycomb sandwich structure was designed with orthogonal grids in the stiffness design area and curved grids based on the quadratic polynomial in the buckling design area. The optimization model also included the linear angle hierarchical grid, the constant angle hierarchical grid, and the single‐level orthogonal grid. The multi‐objective optimization framework based on the Radial Basis Function (RBF) surrogate model and the Non‐dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA‐II) was developed. The optimization results indicated that the hierarchical grid provided the more extensive design space. The optimal solution of the quadratic polynomial hierarchical grid had the highest stiffness and stiffness per unit mass compared to the rest of the grid layouts, which were 23.28% and 30.47% higher than the single‐level orthogonal grid, respectively. Finally, the multi‐order eigenvalue buckling was analyzed based on the optimal structure. Layout of hierarchical grids proposed inspired by multi‐level leaf veins. Orthogonal grids ensure stiffness and curved grids inhibit buckling at cutouts. Apply the hierarchical grids as skeletons to honeycomb sandwich structures.
