The 55-km-long Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge (HZMB) is the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge, connecting Hong Kong with Zhuhai and Macao at the mouth of the Pearl River Estuary in China, comprising 22.9-km-long steel bridges. HZMB is the leading steel bridge in China, with top-level manufacturing and installation technology. This paper outlines the steel bridge construction experiences of HZMB to provide comparisons for the construction of other long sea-crossing steel bridges at home or abroad. The main considerations of construction constraints, scheme selection, structural and aesthetic design of HZMB are presented, and the following points related to new strategies in the steel bridge construction of HZMB are elaborated: (1) construction quality assurance, (2) automatic manufacturing technology, (3) large segment offshore installation, (4) eco-friendly paint (content limitation of volatile organic compounds) and new multifunctional inspection gantry, and (5) Guss Mastic Asphalt steel deck pavement system. The successful implementation of those strategies shows that the steel bridge construction of HZMB promotes improvement in the overall construction and management level of the Chinese bridge industry. The advanced experience of HZMB has opened up broad prospects for the design and construction of offshore bridge engineering in China.

Objective To provide data reference for later researchers to visually and conveniently recognize the key research areas of coronavirus, quickly find important literature and influential research partners by analyzing the research literature on coronavirus. Methods Data from the Web of Science Core Collection database were selected to systematically collate the literature on coronavirus research from 1968 to 2019, and the literature type distribution, annual number of papers, countries, institutions, journals, authors, literature co citation, and emerging key words were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and CiteSpace 5.5.R2 software. Results As of December 31, 2019, a total of 13,959 papers on coronavirus have been published. Global coronavirus research is divided into three periods: The initial research period (1968-2003), the first golden development period (2004-2012) and the second golden development period (2013-2019). United States is the country with the largest number of publications; the University of Hong Kong is the institution with the largest number of publications, and the Journal of Virology ranks first in the number and influence of publications. Peiris JSM, Drosten C and Ksiazek TG are good partners in the field of coronavirus research. Conclusions "SARS-CoV", "infectious disease", "coronavirus spike protein" may attract close attention in the field of coronavirus research. DOI: 10.11855/j.issn.0577-7402.2020.03.04

4. The Study of Expanded Polytetrafluoroethylene New Material in Dural Repair

Dural defect is a common problem in neurosurgery, and the emergence of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene material provides an effective solution for the rehabilitation of artificial blood vessels, heart patches, and other fields. However, studies on the repair of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene in the dura have reported the occurrence of adverse events of cerebrospinal fluid leakage. Therefore, the task of improving expanded polytetrafluoroethylene materials cannot be delayed. In this study, a new composite dural repair material based on expanded polytetrafluoroethylene and polylactic acid-glycolic acid (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene/polylactic acid-glycolic acid) was designed and synthesized. The results of in vivo experiments confirmed that the material can fully meet the requirements of repairing the integrity of the dura mater, providing protection for the intracranial structure and rebuilding the extracellular matrix. More importantly, the new composite dural repair material can greatly reduce the incidence of cerebrospinal fluid leakage and inhibit inflammation. Therefore, the application data of this study on New Zealand rabbit species will lay an important foundation for the development of dural repair technology.

5. Spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the late frost damage risk to shrubby tea trees in tea region, southwest China from 1971 to 2020

Understanding the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the risk of late frost damage has scientific guiding significance for optimizing the regional agricultural production layout and varie-ty tuning. Based on the daily meteorological data of 65 weather stations in the southwest China tea region from 1971 to 2020, we analyzed variation characteristics of the last frost date (LFD), tea bud open date (BOD), and their relationships, constructed frost damage probability index and frost damage severity index of spring shoots of shrubby tea trees, and analyzed the spatiotemporal evolution chara-cteristics of the late frost damage risk of shrub tea trees in the southwest tea region. The results showed that both the BOD and LFD had a significant ahead of trend from 1971 to 2020 and the early rate of the LFD was relatively faster than that of the BOD in the southwest tea region. The number of days that the tea buds were exposed to late frost damage after germination showed an non-significant declining trend. The risk of late frost damage of shrubby tea trees in most parts of the southwest tea region showed a declining trend, but Guizhou tea planting region showed an insignificant increasing trend. The risk of late frost damage to shrubby tea trees was high in the western marginal mountai-nous areas of Sichuan tea region, and the junction of Guizhou and Yunnan tea region. The risk of late frost damage was at low level in Sichuan Basin, southern Yunnan tea region, and southern Guizhou tea region. The risk of late frost damage to shrubby tea trees in the northern and central-eastern parts of Yunnan tea region showed an obvious decreasing trend, but increased significantly in the central and eastern parts of Guizhou tea region.研究晚霜冻害危险性时空演变特征,对于优化区域农业生产布局和品种调优具有科学的指导意义。本研究利用西南茶区65个气象站点1971—2020年逐日气象数据,结合霜冻终日和茶芽萌发初日的变化特征及其相互关系,构建西南茶区灌木型茶树春梢晚霜冻害概率指数和冻害强度指数,分析西南茶区灌木型茶树晚霜冻害危险性时空演变特征。结果表明:1971—2020年,西南茶区霜冻终日和茶芽萌发初日均呈显著提前趋势,且霜冻终日的提早速率快于茶芽萌发初日的提早速率,萌发后的茶芽暴露于晚霜冻害的天数总体呈不显著下降趋势。西南茶区大部分区域灌木型茶树晚霜冻害危险性呈下降趋势,但贵州茶区呈不显著上升趋势。四川茶区西部边缘山区、贵州茶区西部与云南茶区东北部交界处等地灌木型茶树晚霜冻害危险性一直较高,四川盆地区、云南茶区南部和贵州茶区南部等地晚霜冻害危险性一直较低。云南茶区北部、中东部地区等区域晚霜冻害危险性呈明显下降趋势;而贵州茶区中部和东部区域灌木型茶树晚霜冻害危险性明显增加。.

Spontaneous dissection of the iliac artery is very rare. We report the case of a 49-year-old man who presented with spontaneous dissection of common iliac artery involvement of the aorta. We treated him by unibody bifurcated stent grafting and deployed the second stent-graft to prevent the collapse of the true lumen of the right iliac artery. For the sake of preserving pelvic blood flow, proximal type I endoleak was not treated. After 3 years, the endoleak still existed, without any aneurysmal formation. Further, the dissection of the distal external iliac artery still existence after 3 months, but the virtual disappearance after 3 years.

Basiliximab is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the α-chain of the interleukin (IL)-2 receptor. It is used as induction therapy in kidney transplantation. The objective of the present study was to evaluate induction therapy with single-dose basiliximab (Simulect®) in kidney transplantation with donation after cardiac death (DCD) donors. A total of 33 DCD kidney transplants were performed between December 2010 and July 2013 in patients who received single-dose basiliximab (20 mg) as induction therapy. The maintenance immunosuppression included calcineurin inhibitor (cyclosporine A or tacrolimus), mycophenolate mofetil and corticosteroids. The follow-up time was 1 year. The mean ages of the DCD donors and recipients were 29.3 and 41.1 years, respectively. Within the 1-year follow-up, the overall incidence of acute rejection was 9.1%. There were 10 cases of delayed graft function among the recipients. Mean serum creatinine values at 1 week and at 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months post-transplantation were 257.6, 238.2, 194.5, 159.3, 137.9 and 110.8 µmol/l, respectively, with a favorable trend to allograft function recovery over time. The 1-year patient and graft survival rates were 96.9 and 90.9%, respectively, with an infection rate of 24.2%. Increased alanine aminotransferase/aspartate transaminase levels in only 2 patients were considered to be associated with basiliximab. This experience with single-dose basiliximab for induction therapy in DCD kidney transplantation showed that favorable clinical outcomes were achieved in terms of graft survival and function within 1 year.

Polymorphism of six blood protein loci from Liaoning new-breeding cashmere goat was studied by using vertical discontinuous polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(PAGE)and the relationship between blood protein loci to economic traits was analyzed. Economic traits were analyzed by PROC GLM of SAS. And the data were multiple compared. The results showed that EsBB was the favourable genotypes to body weight, and TfBB and Amy1-2 were the favourable genotypes to cashmere yield. They may be regarded as gene marker for marker assisted selection.

The economic traits of Liaoning new breed of cashmere goats, a special Chinese genetic resource, were analyzed in 150 animals by typing 11 microsatellite loci. The association between three economic traits (body weight, cashmere yield and fineness) in this new breed of goats and the marker genotypes were analyzed. The results show that: AA and BC at LSCV13, DE at IDVGA64 and BB at BMS2782 were favorable genotypes for body weight. AB at LSCV13, AD and BE at CSSM11, BD and CC at IDVGA64, BC and DE at BMS2782 were favorable genotypes for cashmere yield. AA at CSSM11, BC and DE at IDVGA64, CD at BMS2782 were favorable genotypes for cashmere fineness.

The objective of the study is to investigate potential citrullinated autoantigens as targets of anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPAs) response in synovial fluids (SFs) of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). SFs from six RA patients and six osteoarthritis (OA) patients as controls were collected. The citrullinated proteins in SFs were extracted by immunoprecipitation with rabbit anti-citrulline antibodies. Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry/time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF/TOF) mass spectrometry was subsequently performed to discover a characteristic neutral loss to finally determine citrullinated autoantigens. A total of 182 citrullinated peptides and 200 citrullinated sites were identified in RA SFs, while 3 citrullinated peptides and 4 citrullinated sites were identified in OA SFs. The 182 citrullinated peptides from RA SFs and the 3 citrullinated peptides from OA SFs were derived from 83 and 3 autoantigens, respectively. Eighty-three autoantigens except protein-arginine deiminase type-2 (PADI2) and protein-arginine deiminase type-2 (PADI4) were over-citrullinated compared with controls, and the citrullinated sites of PADI2 and PADI4 were different in two groups. Interestingly, citrullinated histone H3.3 (H3F3A) was found in OA controls, but not in RA groups. The differential citrullinated proteins identified in RA SFs suggested potential autoantigens were targeted for ACPAs response and might contribute to the induction and perpetuation of complement activation and joint inflammation in RA.
