9. Fixed-Time Formation Control for Uncertain Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Time-Varying Actuator Failures

Abstract

In this article, the fixed-time formation control problem for uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with time-varying actuator failures is investigated. Actuator failures would have a huge impact on the system performance, especially when the actuator failures are time-varying, which may even cause system insecurity. In order to cope with time-varying actuator failures, a fixed-time convergence approach is proposed based on adaptive fuzzy control technology. Simultaneously, solving the above problems would aggravate the occupation of communication resources of the system. Therefore, a periodic adaptive event-triggered control scheme is developed, in which the triggering period can be adjusted adaptively. Furthermore, the convergence time of formation errors can be preset by applying the fixed-time control method. The convergence velocity can be accelerated immensely. Eventually, theoretical analysis and simulation illustrate that the proposed method can effectively compensate the time-varying actuator failures, and the MASs can achieve formation within a fixed time by using less communication resources.

The roles of circRNAs in cancer, especially breast cancer (BC), are poorly understood.Materials and Methods: The expression levels of circRNA 0001073 (circ-1073) in BC cells (BCCs) and tissues and peritumoural tissues were detected by real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Kaplan–Meier analysis and receiver operating characteristic curves were used to evaluate relapse-free survival (RFS) and the diagnostic value of circ-1073 for BC, respectively. The biological functions of circ-1073 were determined by cell counting kit-8 assays, colony formation assays, flow cytometry, wound-healing assays, transwell assays, and xenograft model studies. RNA immunoprecipitation assays were conducted to identify the connection between circ-1073 and human antigen R (HuR).Results: Low circ-1073 expression was discovered in BCCs and BC tissues compared with normal mammary epithelial cells and peritumoural tissues, respectively. Circ-1073 downregulation was significantly associated with an unfavourable prognosis, including a shorter RFS, in BC patients. Circ-1073 is a valuable diagnostic biomarker for BC. Abstract

A study was performed with the objectives of understanding porosity formation mechanism and producing sound weld beads in Zn-coated steels with a CO2 laser or a Nd:YAG laser. The formation conditions of porosity and underfilled weld beads were established for cw YAG laser lap welding. The effects of Zn-coated layer thickness and gap between sheets on porosity formation and bead appearances were confirmed. In the case of no gap, good weld beads were not obtained in cw laser welding, while relatively sound ones were formed under properly pulse-modulated laser conditions. From the observation of welding phenomena by ultra-high speed video and microfocused X-ray transmission imaging system, the formation mechanisms of porosity and spattering was interpreted. Abstract

In this study, bismuth vanadate is used as a visible-light catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of pirimicarb insecticide. Significant amount of H2O2is mandatory to obtain a significant photocatalytic activity of BiVO4. The scavenger study indicates that holes and hydroxyl radicals are the main active species involved in the degradation of pirimicarb. Seven intermediates are identified and characterized through a mass spectra analysis. Based on this intermediate identification, a simple degradation pathway is proposed for the pirimicarb molecule, mainly through dealkylation and decarbamoylation. The practicality of this BiVO4photocatalyst is validated for the degradation of pirimicarb in environmental water samples, which indicates its potential for practical applications in water pollutant removal and environmental remediation.
