Resveratrol (RES) and β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyric acid (HMB) have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and other beneficial properties. Here, we hypothesize that supplementation with RES and HMB could affect the rumen function in Tibetan sheep. This study aims to explore the effects of RES and HMB supplementation at different protein levels on the rumen microbial and metabolite compositions of Tibetan sheep. Four treatments (n = 30) were prepared according to a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement, with two dietary protein levels (12% and 14%) and two feed additives (RES 1.50 g/day and HMB 1.25 g/day). The experimental treatments were fed diets with 12% CP level non-supplemented (L), 12% protein with RES and HMB (L-RES-HMB), 14% CP level non-supplemented (H), and 14% protein with RES and HMB (H-RES-HMB), respectively. Our results indicated that the trypsin, chymotrypsin, and lipase were significantly increased in the H-RES-HMB group (p < 0.05), while the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) concentration was significantly reduced (p < 0.05). The alpha diversity analysis found that the ACE indices of the L-RES-HMB, and H-RES-HMB groups was significantly higher than that of the L group (p < 0.05). Additionally, compared with the L, L-RES-HMB, and H groups, it was found that the abundance of Euryarchaeota, Spirochaeota, and Metanobrevibacter was significantly increased in the H-RES-HMB group, while the abundance of Proteobacteria was significantly decreased (p < 0.05). A total of 745 significantly different metabolites were identified, of which 14 metabolites were common among the three comparative groups. Differential metabolites were mainly enriched in pathways including the pyrimidine metabolism, the glycine, serine, and threonine metabolisms, and ABC transporters. Overall, CP level and RES/HMB exhibited positively interaction effect on digestive enzyme activity and antioxidant capacity. Dietary RES and HMB supplementation on 14% CP level improved the ruminal digestive enzyme activity and antioxidant capacity through modulating the microbial community and regulating the metabolism. Thermoplastics have been widely used in petroleum, chemical, construction, urban gathering and transportation systems due to their superior performance. This work focuses on the corrosive behaviors of linear low-density polyethylene (PE-LLD) and polypropylene (PP) against sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride solution. The research results indicate that the impact strength of PP was found to show a loss rate of 23. 9 % after corrosion Ma 10 wt % NaOH solution for one week, whereas the loss rate for PE-LLD was 22. 6 % after corrosion in a 10 wt % HCl solution for two weeks. The effect of H2 SO4 solution with a concentration of 10 wt % on the melting enthalpy of PE-LLD was very noticeable, and the enthalpy value decreased by 54. 4 % after immersion corrosion for 6 weeks. In the current study, the role of the ovine IGF2 as a potential candidate gene was investigated as though marker-assisted selection in Chinese Tibetan sheep. The Sanger DNA sequencing method explored five single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in 5'UTR of the ovine IGF2 gene (C15640T, G15801A, G15870A, C15982G and G15991A) in Chinese Tibetan sheep. The frequencies of four SNPs were within the Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium (chi-square test) except C15982G. The statistical analysis indicated that the C15640T and G15801A were significantly associated with body height, body length, chest circumference, and body weight (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Furthermore, C15982G variant exhibited significant correlation with the body weight (P < 0.01). These findings suggests that the promoter variants of IGF2 gene could be used as a candidate gene through marker-assisted selection for the body weight and body measurement traits in Tibetan sheep breeding program., (© 2023. At present, humidity sensors have promising prospects in disease monitoring, family life, environmental protection, and so on. Flexible humidity sensor is more and more popular because of its flexibility and portability. In our work, a flexible humidity sensor based on a tin disulfide (SnS 2 ) nanoflower and a zinc stannate (Zn 2 SnO 4 ) hollow sphere film was fabricated though layer-by-layer self-assembly technique. The humidity performance showed that the SnS 2 /Zn 2 SnO 4 hybrid film sensor was ultrasensitive to humidity at room temperature. The test results demonstrated superior response, fast response/recovery behavior, and excellent repeatability. Moreover, compared to the single SnS 2 and single Zn 2 SnO 4 nanomaterials, the SnS 2 /Zn 2 SnO 4 hybrid film sensor exhibited great improvement in humidity sensing. In addition, complex impedance spectroscopy was adopted to further explore the sensing mechanisms of the SnS 2 /Zn 2 SnO 4 hybrid to various humidities. Human respiration, palm sweat, urine, and water droplets were delicately detected by the SnS 2 /Zn 2 SnO 4 humidity sensor, indicating its great potential in multifarious application fields.
