1. Characterization of cytoplasmic viscosity of hundreds of single tumour cells based on micropipette aspiration

Abstract

Cytoplasmic viscosity (μc) is a key biomechanical parameter for evaluating the status of cellular cytoskeletons. Previous studies focused on white blood cells, but the data of cytoplasmic viscosity for tumour cells were missing. Tumour cells (H1299, A549 and drug-treated H1299 with compromised cytoskeletons) were aspirated continuously through a micropipette at a pressure of −10 or −5 kPa where aspiration lengths as a function of time were obtained and translated to cytoplasmic viscosity based on a theoretical Newtonian fluid model. Quartile coefficients of dispersion were quantified to evaluate the distributions of cytoplasmic viscosity within the same cell type while neural network-based pattern recognitions were used to classify different cell types based on cytoplasmic viscosity. The single-cell cytoplasmic viscosity with three quartiles and the quartile coefficient of dispersion were quantified as 16.7 Pa s, 42.1 Pa s, 110.3 Pa s and 74% for H1299 cells at −10 kPa (ncell = 652); 144.8 Pa s, 489.8 Pa s, 1390.7 Pa s, and 81% for A549 cells at −10 kPa (ncell = 785); 7.1 Pa s, 13.7 Pa s, 31.5 Pa s, and 63% for CD-treated H1299 cells at −10 kPa (ncell = 651); and 16.9 Pa s, 48.2 Pa s, 150.2 Pa s, and 80% for H1299 cells at −5 kPa (ncell = 600), respectively. Neural network-based pattern recognition produced successful classification rates of 76.7% for H1299 versus A549, 67.0% for H1299 versus drug-treated H1299 and 50.3% for H1299 at −5 and −10 kPa. Variations of cytoplasmic viscosity were observed within the same cell type and among different cell types, suggesting the potential role of cytoplasmic viscosity in cell status evaluation and cell type classification.

2. Origin of the colossal dielectric properties in double-perovskite Sr2CoNbO6

Abstract

Sr2CoNbO6 ceramics were prepared via the solid-state reaction route. The dielectric properties of Sr2CoNbO6 ceramics were investigated as a function of temperature (90–330 K) in the frequency range from 20 Hz to 10 MHz. Our results reveal that the dielectric properties of Sr2CoNbO6 are closely linked with the conductivity of the sample. The conductivity is dominated by hopping localized carriers. The hopping process not only produces considerable conductivity followed the universal dielectric response behavior, but also gives rise to dipolar effects leading to the polaron relaxation in intermediate-temperature range. At low enough temperatures, the hopping process is frozen-in and the low-temperature Maxwell-Wagner relaxation due to frozen carriers featuring the nearly constant loss behavior appears. At higher temperatures, the long-distance transportation of the carriers becomes remarkable. These carriers are easily blocked by various interfaces resulting in space charge therein and the conventional Maxwell-Wagner relaxation in the high-temperature range. Our results demonstrate that a multirelaxation mechanism instead of a single relaxation underlies the colossal dielectric properties of Sr2CoNbO6.

4. [The study of the correlation between age and the pathogenic factors of primary glaucoma: a review]

Abstract

Age is an important risk factor for primary glaucoma. While the specific mechanism of primary glaucoma remained unclear, the change of ocular anatomy, the disturbance of aqueous humor balance, the change of ocular biomechanics and the disorder of neurometabolism contribute to the occurrence and development of primary glaucoma. This paper reviewes the latest studies on the correlation between age and the risk factors of glaucoma in the above four aspects, so as to provide some references for the in-depth discussion of the pathophysiology of primary glaucoma, and advancement on diagnosis, treatment and research of primary glaucoma.年龄是原发性青光眼重要的危险因素。目前原发性青光眼的具体发生机制尚未阐明，其中眼球解剖学因素、房水动力学因素、眼球生物力学因素和神经代谢因素随年龄改变，从不同层面促成了原发性青光眼的发生和发展。本文汇总国内外有关年龄与原发性青光眼关联的最新研究结果，针对上述4个原发性青光眼的发病因素进行综合分析，以期为临床深入探讨原发性青光眼发病机制，提高原发性青光眼临床诊疗和研究水平提供参考。.

Abstract

Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness in the world. The reduction of intraocular pressure is the main clinical treatment. Due to the limitations of traditional filter surgery, a variety of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures have been applied in clinical practice in recent years. Quite a few of them have been carried out in China and achieved good results. At the same time, domestic technology enterprises are actively engaged in the development, innovation and localization of the MIGS equipment. However, there are still some problems in MIGS in China, which need to be paid attention to and require corresponding clinical research, so as to make it a new highlight in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.青光眼为全球首位不可逆致盲眼病，降低眼压是其主要治疗手段。由于传统滤过性手术存在诸多问题，近年多种微小切口青光眼手术（MIGS）进入我国临床并取得良好疗效，国内科技企业也在进行MIGS装置和器械国产化。本文在指出目前我国开展MIGS存在须严格掌握手术适应证、临床研究规模和质量不足、手术装置和器械价格昂贵、国内疗效不同于国外报道等问题的基础上，提出重视并开展MIGS临床研究的必要性及方法，以期指导临床多方面大量开展高质量相关研究，使MIGS能造福于我国广大青光眼患者。.

Abstract

Sn doped ZnO (SZO) nanorods with oxygen-vacancy have been synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method. Detailed analysis based on X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscope (HRTEM), and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) has revealed that Sn doped ZnO nanorods are rich in oxygen-vacancies. Oxygen-vacancies lead to the band-gap narrowing of Sn doped ZnO nanorods due to broadening the valence band and an increase the visible-light response which results in high photocurrent responses and photocatalytic performance of Rhodamine B under visible-light illumination. Sn doped ZnO sample exhibits little decrease in activity even after 4 cycles, indicating that Sn doped ZnO is stable and not photocorroded easily.

The prevalence of myopia in China is increasing. The early onset and rapid progression of myopia in younger children have attracted more attention. The establishment of standardized children's refractive development records is the basis of myopic prevention and control. It would be helpful to follow the refractive status and pay more attention to the refractive development of potential myopic children, so as to reduce the prevalence of myopia.目前我国学生近视眼患病率不断上升，近视眼低龄化趋势不断扩大，已经引起国家和政府的高度重视。为使我国的近视眼防控工作尽早取得实质性效果，本文在阐述规范化建立儿童屈光发育档案意义的基础上，将近视高危学生作为降低近视眼患病率的主体，提出规范化建立儿童屈光发育档案的要点和临床实践意见，希望为眼科临床相关工作提供指导和参考。

Abstract

We report the discovery of CXOU J191100-595621 and CXOU J191012-595619, two galaxy clusters serendipitously detected in the direction of globular cluster NGC 6752, based on archival {\it Chandra} observations with a total exposure time of $\sim 344$ ks. The deep {\it Chandra} X-ray data enabled us to measure properties of both systems, which result in a redshift of $z=0.239\pm0.013$ and $z=0.375\pm0.016$, a temperature of $kT=3.32^{+0.57}_{-0.46}$ keV and $kT=3.71^{+1.18}_{-0.86}$ keV, an iron abundance of $Z_{\rm Fe}=0.64^{+0.34}_{-0.29}Z_{\rm Fe\odot}$ and $Z_{\rm Fe}=1.29^{+0.97}_{-0.65}Z_{\rm Fe\odot}$, and a rest-frame full band (0.5-7 keV) luminosity of $L_{\rm X}=9.2^{+1.2}_{-1.1}\times 10^{43} {\rm \, erg\, s^{-1}}$ and $L_{\rm X}=9.9^{+2.7}_{-2.2}\times 10^{43} {\rm \, erg\, s^{-1}}$ for CXOU J191100-595621 and CXOU J191012-595619, respectively. The temperature profile of CXOU J191100-595621 is found to decreases with decreasing radius, indicating a cool core in this cluster. The hydrostatic equilibrium estimation suggests the clusters are moderately weighted, with $M_{500}=(1.3\pm0.4)\times 10^{14}\, M_{\odot}$ and $M_{500}=(2.0\pm1.5)\times 10^{14}\, M_{\odot}$, respectively. We search for optical and radio counterparts of X-ray point sources in the clusters. Three active galactic nuclei are found, among which one is identified with a narrow-angle-tail radio galaxy, and one is found to associated with the brightest central galaxy (BCG) of CXOU J191100-595621., 11 pages, 11 figures and 4 tables. Abstract

We present the S-Band Polarization All Sky Survey (S-PASS), a survey of polarized radio emission over the southern sky at Dec~$< -1^\circ$ taken with the Parkes radio telescope at 2.3~GHz. The main aim was to observe at a frequency high enough to avoid strong depolarization at intermediate Galactic latitudes (still present at 1.4 GHz) to study Galactic magnetism, but low enough to retain ample Signal-to-Noise ratio (S/N) at high latitudes for extragalactic and cosmological science. We developed a new scanning strategy based on long azimuth scans, and a corresponding map-making procedure to make recovery of the overall mean signal of Stokes $Q$ and $U$ possible, a long-standing problem with polarization observations. We describe the scanning strategy, map-making procedure, and validation tests. The overall mean signal is recovered with a precision better than 0.5\%. The maps have a mean sensitivity of 0.81 mK on beam--size scales and show clear polarized signals, typically to within a few degrees of the Galactic plane, with ample S/N everywhere (the typical signal in low emission regions is 13 mK, and 98.6\% of the pixels have S/N $> 3$). The largest depolarization areas are in the inner Galaxy, associated with the Sagittarius Arm. We have also computed a Rotation Measure map combining S-PASS with archival data from the WMAP and Planck experiments. A Stokes $I$ map has been generated, with a sensitivity limited to the confusion level of 9 mK., Accepted for publication on MNRAS. 17. [A new analysis method for 24-hour intraocular pressure data]

Abstract

The study aimed to introduce a new analysis method of 24-hour intraocular pressure (IOP) and to propose the concept of overall IOP. Data of 24-hour IOP of a patient with a confirmed diagnosis of normal tension glaucoma was selected. Based on the present indexes including peak IOP, trough IOP, maximum difference, and mean IOP, new indexes were proposed, which included main IOP, duration of main IOP, and rate of IOP increase. A radar chart was drawn, and overall IOP was calculated. Overall IOP value = IOP distribution (sum of IOP value multiplied by the corresponding duration) × IOP fluctuation (standard deviation) × rate of IOP increase/100. By comparing two series of IOP data, the advantages of the new IOP indexes were demonstrated. The introduction of the concept of overall IOP expands the description of IOP from a single static state to a comprehensive dynamic state, which enables us to analyze the results of 24-hour IOP monitoring more thoroughly.介绍一种新的24 h眼压数据分析方法，并提出全眼压的概念。选取1例确诊正常眼压性青光眼患者的24 h眼压数据，在原有指标眼压峰值、谷值、最大差值、平均值的基础上，提出主体眼压、主体眼压时长、升压速率等指标，绘制雷达图，计算得出全眼压的值。全眼压值=眼压值分布（各分区的眼压值×相应时长的总和）×眼压波动（标准差）×眼压上升速率/100。并通过2次眼压的数据对比，分析新的眼压指标的优势。全眼压概念的提出，把对眼压的描述从单一静态扩展到了全面动态，使24 h眼压监测结果的分析更深入细致。

Abstract

Using data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider, we search for the process $e^+e^-\rightarrow \eta_c\eta \pi^+\pi^-$. The search is performed using five large data sets recorded at center-of-mass energies of 4.23, 4.26, 4.36, 4.42, and 4.60 GeV. The $\eta_c$ meson is reconstructed in 16 exclusive decay modes. No signal is observed in the $\eta_c$ mass region at any center-of-mass energy. The upper limits on the reaction cross sections are determined to be 6.2, 10.8, 27.6, 22.6 and 23.7 pb at the 90% confidence level at the center-of-mass energies listed above.

Abstract

A novel description of charge-exchange reactions at intermediate energies is developed, based on both phenomenological or microscopic eikonal phase-shift functions. The results obtained within this eikonal approach are in good agreement with the distorted-wave Born approximation calculations within the energy region where both approximations should be valid. They also compare well with the experimental data, even at relatively low energy domain. At higher energies, relativistic kinematics have also been added and shown to be relevant. Owing to the microscopic feature of the formulation, our theory also has the advantage that it can be applied to high energies where the phenomenological optical potentials are rarely available.

具有脊索样特征的浸润性尿路上皮癌是一种具有极其罕见组织学特征的浸润性尿路上皮癌，组织学上以突出的细胞性条索和丰富的细胞外黏液样基质为特征，肿瘤局灶区域多含有典型的高级别浸润性尿路上皮癌。免疫表型上，肿瘤仍表达尿路上皮标志物。过碘酸-雪夫（PAS）特殊染色呈阳性，染色标记中未见细胞内黏液存在。荧光原位杂交未检测到EWSR1-NR4A3融合性基因。本例患者术后未做任何治疗，6个月后死亡。由于文献报告例数有限，与普通型高级别浸润性尿路上皮癌的预后是否有差异，尚需更多病例积累。.

Abstract

We report the most precise measurements to date of the strong-phase parameters between D^{0} and D[over ¯]^{0} decays to K_{S,L}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} using a sample of 2.93 fb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. Our results provide the key inputs for a binned model-independent determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle γ/ϕ_{3} with B decays. Using our results, the decay model sensitivity to the γ/ϕ_{3} measurement is expected to be between 0.7° and 1.2°, approximately a factor of three smaller than that achievable with previous measurements, based on the studies of the simulated data. The improved precision of this work ensures that measurements of γ/ϕ_{3} will not be limited by knowledge of strong phases for the next decade. Furthermore, our results provide critical input for other flavor-physics investigations, including charm mixing, other measurements of CP violation, and the measurement of strong-phase parameters for other D-decay modes.

Abstract

The cross section for the process e(+)e(-)-> pi(+) pi(-) J/psi is measured precisely at center-of-mass energies from 3.77 to 4.60 GeV using 9 fb(-1) of data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. Two resonant structures are observed in a fit to the cross section. The first resonance has a mass of (222.0 +/- 3.1 +/- 1.4) MeV/ c(2) and a width of (44.1 +/- 4.3 +/- 2.0)MeV, while the second one has a mass of (4320.0 +/- 10.4 +/- 7.0)MeV/c(2) and a width of (101.4(- 19.7)(+25.3) +/- 10.2) MeV, where the first errors are statistical and second ones are systematic. The first resonance agrees with the Y(4260) resonance reported by previous experiments. The precision of its resonant parameters is improved significantly. The second resonance is observed in e(+)e(-)-> pi(+) pi(-) J/psi for the first time. The statistical significance of this resonance is estimated to be larger than 7.6 sigma. The mass and width of the second resonance agree with the Y(4360) resonance reported by the BABAR and Belle experiments within errors. Finally, the Y(4008) resonance previously observed by the Belle experiment is not confirmed in the description of the BESIII data.

Abstract

An inelastic excitation and cluster-decay experiment ^{2}H(^{16}C,^{4}He+^{12}Be or ^{6}He+^{10}Be)^{2}H was carried out to investigate the linear-chain clustering structure in neutron-rich ^{16}C. For the first time, decay paths from the ^{16}C resonances to various states of the final nuclei were determined, thanks to the well-resolved Q-value spectra obtained from the threefold coincident measurement. The close-threshold resonance at 16.5 MeV is assigned as the J^{π}=0^{+} band head of the predicted positive-parity linear-chain molecular band with (3/2_{π}^{-})^{2}(1/2_{σ}^{-})^{2} configuration, according to the associated angular correlation and decay analysis. Other members of this band were found at 17.3, 19.4, and 21.6 MeV based on their selective decay properties, being consistent with the theoretical predictions. Another intriguing high-lying state was observed at 27.2 MeV which decays almost exclusively to ^{6}He+^{10}Be(∼6 MeV) final channel, corresponding well to another predicted linear-chain structure with the pure σ-bond configuration.

For the first time, decay-paths from the $\rm {^{16}C}$ resonances to various states of the final nuclei were determined, thanks to the well-resolved $Q$-value spectra obtained from the three-fold coincident measurement. The close-threshold resonance at 16.5 MeV is assigned as the ${J^\pi}={0^+}$ band head of the predicted positive-parity linear-chain molecular band with ${(3/2_\pi^-)^2}{(1/2_\sigma^-)^2}$ configuration, according to the associated angular correlation and decay analysis. Other members of this band were found at 17.3, 19.4, and 21.6 MeV based on their selective decay properties, being consistent with the theoretical predictions. Another intriguing high-lying state was observed at 27.2 MeV which decays almost exclusively to $\rm {^{6}He}+{^{10}Be{(\sim6~ MeV)}}$ final channel, corresponding well to another predicted linear-chain structure with the pure $\sigma$-bond configuration., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures

Abstract

A puzzle has long existed for the α-cluster content in the near-threshold 7.54-MeV state of Be10. A new measurement was conducted to measure the cluster-decay partial width of this state using the reaction Be9(Be9,Be*10→α+He6)Be8 at 45-MeV beam energy. Special measures were taken to reduce the strong near-threshold background. The neutron-decay strength was also obtained based on the threefold coincident measurement. A cluster-decay branching ratio of (4.04±1.26)×10−4 is obtained, resulting in a reasonably large α-cluster spectroscopic factor. The present Rapid Communication confirms the formation of the σ-bond molecular rotational band headed by the 6.18-MeV state in Be10.

Abstract

Using a sample of (448.1±2.9)×106 ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform the first partial wave analysis of ψ(3686)→K+K-η. In addition to the well established states, ϕ(1020), ϕ(1680), and K3*(1780), contributions from X(1750), ρ(2150), ρ3(2250), and K2*(1980) are also observed. The X(1750) state is determined to be a 1-- resonance. The simultaneous observation of the ϕ(1680) and X(1750) indicates that the X(1750), with previous observations in photoproduction, is distinct from the ϕ(1680). The masses, widths, branching fractions of ψ(3686)→K+K-η, and the intermediate resonances are also measured.

35. LncRNA TRERNA1 promotes malignant progression of NSCLC through targeting FOXL1

Abstract

Previous studies have shown the carcinogenic role of long-chain non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) TRERNA1. However, the role of TRERNA1 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has not been reported. This research aims to explore the regulatory effect of TRERNA1/FOXL1 axis on the malignant progression of NSCLC.Quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) was performed to examine the expression levels of TRERNA1 and FOXL1 in 39 pairs of tumor tissues and paracancerous ones collected from NSCLC patients. The potential relation between TRERNA1 expression and clinical indicators of NSCLC patients was analyzed. Meanwhile, expression levels of TRERNA1 and FOXL1 in NSCLC cell lines were also detected by qRT-PCR. In addition, TRERNA1 knockdown model was constructed in H358 and SPC-A1 cells. Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), cell colony formation assay, and flow cytometry were applied to analyze the influence of TRERNA1 on NSCLC cell biological functions. Finally, Dual-Luciferase reporter gene assay and cell reverse recovery experiments were performed to figure out the underlying mechanisms of TRERNA1 in regulating NSCLC progression.QRT-PCR results indicated that the expression level of lncRNA TRERNA1 in tumor tissue samples of NSCLC patients was remarkably higher than that in adjacent tissues. Compared with NSCLC patients with low expression of TRERNA1, patients with high TRERNA1 expression had a worse pathological stage and overall survival. Similarly, compared with cells in sh-NC group, the proliferation ability of cells in sh-TRERNA1 group was remarkably attenuated. In addition, cell ratio in the G1 phase increased after knockdown of TRERNA1, suggesting the arrested G1/S cell cycle. Subsequently, FOXL1 was downregulated in NSCLC cell lines and tumor tissues. Meanwhile, FOXL1 level was verified to be negatively correlated with TRERNA1 level. Additionally, the binding between TRERNA1 and FOXL1 was confirmed by Dual-Luciferase reporter gene assay. Cell reverse investigation indicated the involvement of FOXL1 in TRERNA1-regulated malignant progression of NSCLC.LncRNA TRERNA1 was up-regulated both in NSCLC tissues and cell lines. Its level was associated with pathological stage and poor prognosis in NSCLC. In addition, lncRNA TRERNA1 could promote the malignant progression of NSCLC via modulating FOXL1.

Abstract

The cross section of the process e+e-→η′J/ψ is measured at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies from s=4.178 to 4.600 GeV using data samples corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 11 fb-1 collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. The dependence of the cross section on s shows an enhancement around 4.2 GeV. While the shape of the cross section cannot be fully explained with a single ψ(4160) or ψ(4260) state, a coherent sum of the two states does provide a reasonable description of the data.

Abstract

Primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) is the most common type of glaucoma in China. In recent years, lens extraction has gradually become one of the main means of PACG treatment. However, there are still some problems in specific applications. In this article, we analyze the problems and misunderstandings in lens extraction for treatment of PACG in China at present, hoping to achieve reasonable application and better serve patients with glaucoma.原发性闭角型青光眼（PACG）是我国最常见的青光眼类型。近年来晶状体摘除手术已逐渐成为PACG的治疗方法之一。本文针对现阶段我国晶状体摘除手术在PACG治疗中存在的问题及误区，提出应根据房角关闭的不同机制合理选择治疗方法，正确看待透明晶状体摘除术在PACG治疗中的作用，注意我国与西方国家医疗体系的差异以及联合房角分离术或滤过性手术的效果，以期指导临床合理应用晶状体摘除手术治疗PACG，达到为青光眼患者提供优质服务的目的。（中华眼科杂志，

Abstract

We report a study of the $e^{+}e^{-} \to D^{+} D^{-} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}$ process using $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data samples with an integrated luminosity of $2.5\,\rm{fb}^{-1}$ at center-of-mass energies from 4.36 to $4.60 \rm{GeV}$, collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The $D_{1}(2420)^+$ is observed in the $D^{+} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}$ mass spectrum. The mass and width of the $D_{1}(2420)^+$ are measured to be $(2427.2\pm 1.0_{\rm stat.}\pm 1.2_{\rm syst.}) \rm{MeV}/c^2$ and $(23.2\pm 2.3_{\rm stat.} \pm2.3_{\rm syst.}) \rm{MeV}$, respectively. The first errors are statistical and the second ones are systematic. In addition, the Born cross sections of the $e^{+}e^{-} \to D_{1}(2420)^+D^- + c.c. \to D^{+} D^{-} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}$ and $e^{+}e^{-} \to \psi(3770) \pi^{+} \pi^{-} \to D^{+} D^{-} \pi^{+} \pi^{-}$ processes are measured as a function of the center-of-mass energy., Comment: Updated version published in PLB

Abstract

The cucurbit chlorotic yellows virus (CCYV) causes severe economic losses in cucurbit plants. Although it has been widely known in various countries for several years, CCYV is rarely recognized due to the lack of rapid and effective detection methods in the early stage of the disease. Recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) is a new, efficient, and simple technology for nucleic acid detection. In the present study, reverse transcription (RT)-RPA and quantitative RT-RPA were developed and utilized for fast detection of CCYV in field-collected melon samples. The analysis was performed under constant temperature conditions without the necessity for a thermal cycler in just 20 min. Moreover, the detection limit of RT-RPA for CCYV was determined at 10 pg. In the study, 58 field-collected samples were employed to evaluate the performance of the two assays. The positive rates were established at 72.4% (42/58) and 75.9% (44/58) by RT-RPA and qRT-RPA, respectively, and were consistent with the RT-PCR results. The successful application of RPA for the detection of CCYV in field-collected melon samples indicated its potential applicability. Thus, the developed RPA assays provide an alternative for fast, efficient, sensitive, and reliable detection of CCYV in diagnostic laboratories, which lack the precise instrumentation, and fields without appropriate equipment.

Abstract

Take the wear parts of coupler knuckle as an example, the “Modeling—Slicing — Stacking” mode remanufacturing process is studied. First, the 3D model of the of the worn coupler knuckle surface is acquired by structured light 3D detection. The remanufacturing model of the failure part is built by Boolean operation between the original model and the acquired 3D model. Second, the user can slice layer of the remanufacturing model according to the remanufacturing stacking parameters. The zone that surrounded by the contour of each sliced layer is the robotic GMAW remanufacturing stack region. Third, the robotic GMAW remanufacturing path is planed within the region mentioned above and the executable program is generated to carry out the remanufacturing task layer by layer. Moreover, the worn coupler knuckle was repaired by adopting Robotic GMAW Process. The mechanical performances of component were tested, the results indicate that the remanufactured coupler knuckle satisfying the operating requirements.

Abstract

The well-aligned multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were grown by microwave plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition using N2 and NH3 as the carrier gases and CH4 as the carbon source. The scanning electron microscopy revealed that the CNTs grew via the base growth mechanism at a rate of ~100 nm/s.
