Guangzhou ist eine Gro��stadt in S��dchina, wo ich geboren bin und dort bis zum 14. Lebensjahr gewohnt habe. Nachdem ich in ��sterreich meine Ausbildung absolviert habe, m��chte ich einen Mehrwert f��r meinen Geburtsort erzielen. Das Stadtbild in meiner Kindheit war gepr��gt von einer niedriger und nicht so dichter Bebauung mit ad��quater Begr��nung. Jetzt ist die Stadt ein Stahlbeton-Wald geworden, der die Begr��nung ��berragt. Nach der rasanten Stadtentwicklung sind mehrere Dorfsituationen, die Peripherie der Stadt waren, mitten in der City geblieben. Diese Diplomarbeit handelt von einer Wohnbebauung in einem ehemaligen Dorf, das jetzt in einem Businesscenter situiert ist. Ich versuche eine neue Formensprache in die bestehende Struktur zu integrieren. Durch das schnelle Stadtwachstum ist auch gleichzeitig eine Verschlechterung des Klimas eingetreten. Dazu soll ein passendes ��kokonzept gegen Smog entwickelt werden. Insgesamt entsteht eine neue Landschaft, welche die Wohnqualit��t verbessert und einen Vorteil f��r die Umgebung bringt., Guangzhou is one of the major cities in southern China, where I was born and raised until 14 years old. After my long term living in Austria, where I collected a lot of experiences in my life, I would like to bring some European architecture points of view to my motherland. In my memories the density of the city was not so high as now. Since the green area disappeared through the last years replaced by skyscrapers, the whole city turned into a concrete forest. After the rapid urban development several village situations became part of the city. This Master thesis deals with a group of residential buildings in a small village, which is surrounding by skyscrapers in the business center. My achievement is to bring a new conceptual design into the existing structure. Due to the rapid urban growth, a deterioration of the climate has occurred at the same time. For this purpose, a suitable eco-concept against smog should be developed. The new landscape should improve the quality of living and bring an advantage to the environment.
