Abstract This study aims to provide a comprehensive summary of the status and trends of Two-Dimensional Nano Black Phosphorus (2D nano BP) in cancer research from 2015 to 2023, offering insights for future studies. To achieve this, articles from the Web of Science database published between 2015 and 2023 were analyzed using R and VOSviewer software. The analysis included 446 articles, revealing a consistent increase in publication rates, especially between 2017 and 2019. China emerged as a leader in both publication volume and international collaborations. Prominent journals in this field included ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and Advanced Materials, while key researchers were identified as Zhang Han, Tao Wei, and Yu Xuefeng. The analysis highlighted common keywords such as drug delivery, photothermal therapy, photodynamic therapy, and immunotherapy, indicating the major research focuses. The findings suggest that 2D nano BP holds significant promise in cancer treatment research, with a growing global interest. This study thus serves as a valuable reference for future investigations, providing a detailed analysis of the current state and emerging trends in this promising field.

BackgroundThe current clinical practice lacks sufficient objective indicators for evaluating thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO). This study aims to quantitatively assess TAO by evaluating levator palpebrae superioris (LPS) using Dixon-T2WI.MethodsThe retrospective study included 231 eyes (119 patients) in the TAO group and 78 eyes (39 volunteers) in the normal group. Dixon-T2WI provided data on maximum thickness of LPS (LPS_T) and signal intensity ratio (LPS_SIR) between the muscle and ipsilateral brain white matter. TAO diagnosis and assessment of its activity and severity were quantitatively determined using LPS_T and LPS_SIR.ResultsIn the TAO group, LPS_T and LPS_SIR were higher than those in the normal group (p < 2.2e-16). The upper lid retraction (ULR) ≥ 2 mm group exhibited higher LPS_T and LPS_SIR compared to the ULR < 2 mm and normal groups. Optimal diagnostic performance was achieved with an AUC of 0.91 for LPS_T (cutoff: 1.505 mm) and 0.81 for LPS_SIR (cutoff: 1.170). LPS_T (p = 2.8e-07) and LPS_SIR (p = 3.9e-12) in the active phase were higher than in the inactive phase. LPS_T and LPS_SIR showed differences among the mild, moderate-to-severe, and sight-threatening groups (p < 0.05). ROC showed an AUC of 0.70 for LPS_T (cutoff: 2.095 mm) in judging the active phase, and 0.78 for LPS_SIR (cutoff: 1.129). For judging the moderate-to-severe and above, AUC was 0.76 for LPS_T (cutoff: 2.095 mm) and 0.78 for LPS_SIR (cutoff: 1.197).ConclusionThe maximum thickness and SIR of LPS provide imaging indicators for assisting in the diagnosis and quantitative evaluation of TAO.

The study indicates that while research has demonstrated the potential of coffee to mitigate liver damage, a comprehensive quantitative analysis of its effects has yet to be conducted. This study seeks to explore the current landscape and focal points of research on coffee consumption's impact on the liver from 2013 to 2023. Articles published within this timeframe were retrieved from the Web of Science database and subjected to analysis using R software, VOSviewer, and CiteSpace software. A total of 1106 articles primarily focused on coffee's impact on liver health were analyzed. The frequency of publication exhibited a significant increase from 2013 to 2023. The United States emerged as the leading contributor in publications and international collaborations, particularly with institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Noteworthy journals in this domain included ''Nutrients'' and ''Hepatology'' Commonly occurring keywords encompassed components, chlorogenic acids, oxidative stress, and liver. The study highlighted coffee's potential benefits in preventing cardiovascular and liver diseases, attributed to mechanisms such as antioxidant activity and modulation of hepatic cells. Through bibliometric analysis, this study offers valuable insights into the research status and emphasis on coffee's effects on liver health, serving as a significant reference for future investigations in this area.

ObjectiveTea has been utilized in cancer research and is progressively gaining wider recognition, with its roles in cancer prevention and treatment being increasingly affirmed. The objective of this study is to investigate the current state and research hotspots in the field of tea’s involvement in cancer research from 2013 to 2023, aiming to offer reference and direction for future studies.MethodsWe analyzed 4,789 articles published between 2013 and 2022 from the Web of Science database using VOSviewer, R software, and CiteSpace software.ResultTea-related cancer research showed an overall upward trend, with China leading in publications, followed by the United States, India, Japan, and Italy. China also had significant international collaborations, notably with Harvard University and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. The ‘Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry’ was the most cited journal. Key topics included ‘green tea,’ ‘cancer,’ ‘in vitro,’ ‘oxidative stress,’ and ‘apoptosis.’ Research focused on tea’s pharmacological effects, anticancer properties, mechanisms of natural compounds (e.g., polyphenols and EGCG), antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, and molecular mechanisms in cancer treatment.ConclusionTea’s potential as an anti-cancer medication is gaining global recognition. Our study provides a comprehensive analysis of tea-related cancer research from 2013 to 2023, guiding future investigations in this field.

This paper discusses how to improve the accuracy of navigation for home service robot based on the deep learning and machine learning. First, the crawling programing is applied to collect enough images of fridge and washing machine on the web; a deep learning framework is proposed that can distinguish fridge and washing machine more accurately. Following, the data come from the robot operating system topics are collected and cleaned, the linear regression, decision tree, and linear SVR algorithms are applied and compared to predict the power consumption of the robot, and a conclusion is obtained that liner movement will consume more power, which provides a reference for the path planning of the robot. Lastly, the conclusions are proposed that a novel methodology is applied to distinguish different home appliances, which is useful for the accurate navigation of the robot; the liner movement will consume more power compared to turning left or right, which supplies a reference for the optimized path planning for the robot.

Background: Liver cancer had become the sixth most common cancer. Nitidine chloride (NC) has demonstrated promising anti-HCC properties; however, further elucidation of its mechanism of action is necessary. Methods: The anti-HCC targets of NC were identified through the utilization of multiple databases and ChIPs data analysis. The GO and KEGG analyses to determine the specific pathway affected by NC. The Huh 7 and Hep G2 cells were subjected to a 24-h treatment with NC, followed by evaluating the impact of NC on cell proliferation and cell cycle. The involvement of the p53/14-3-3 Sigma/CDK1 axis in HCC cells was confirmed by qPCR and WB analysis of the corresponding genes and proteins. Results: The GO and KEGG analysis showed the targets were related to cell cycle and p53 signaling pathways. In vitro experiments showed that NC significantly inhibited the proliferation of HCC cells and induced G2/M phase arrest. In addition, qPCR and WB experiments showed that the expression of p53 in HCC cells increased after NC intervention, while the expression of 14-3-3 Sigma and CDK1 decreased. Conclusion: NC can inhibit the proliferation of HCC cells and induce G2/M cell cycle arrest, potentially by regulating the p53/14-3-3 Sigma/CDK1 axis.

PurposeWe aimed to compare two magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, Dixon and spectral attenuated inversion recovery (SPAIR) fat-suppression, in terms of image quality and suitability for evaluating thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) lesion characteristics.MethodsThis cross-sectional, retrospective study involved 70 patients with TAO (140 eyes) who underwent orbital coronal MRI examinations, including Dixon-transverse relaxation (T2)-weighted imaging (T2WI) and SPAIR-T2WI, between 2020 and 2022. We compared the fat-suppression quality and artifacts, noise (N), signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), signal intensity ratio (SIR) of extraocular muscles (SIR-EOM) and lacrimal glands (SIR-LG), and TAO activity evaluation efficiency.ResultsDixon-T2WI showed a higher frequency of better subjective image quality and suitability for evaluating the characteristics of TAO lesions (65.7% vs. 14.3%) than SPAIR-T2WI. Although a number of studies have examined the effects of abusive supervision variability, which refers to leaders engaging in differential abuse toward different subordinates within the team on work-related outcomes, scant research has investigated whether and how abusive supervision variability affects non-work outcomes. Drawing on the conservation of resources theory, the current study explores how abusive supervision variability affects work–family conflict through psychological detachment, as well as the moderating role of optimism. Results based on a survey of 260 employees from nine companies show that abusive supervision variability is significantly and positively related to work–family conflict. Psychological detachment mediates the effect of abusive supervision variability on work–family conflict. Optimism moderates the relationship between abusive supervision variability and psychological detachment and the indirect effects of abusive supervision variability on work–family conflict through psychological detachment. This study extends the literature on the effects of abusive supervision variability and provides several important practical implications.

Background: The triglyceride–glucose (TyG) index had been proposed as a reliable surrogate marker of insulin resistance. We aimed to evaluate the association between TyG index and myocardial fibrosis, which was quantified by extracellular volume (ECV) fraction using cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) examination, and their prognostic value in patients with heart failure (HF).Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 103 hospitalized HF patients were included. ECV fraction was calculated using CMR measurements and T1 mapping. TyG index was calculated using fasting triglyceride and blood glucose. The primary outcome events were defined as all-cause mortality and HF hospitalization during follow-up.Results: During the median follow-up of 12.3 months, 39 patients (37.9%) experienced primary outcome events and had higher levels of TyG index, N-terminal pro–B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), and ECV fraction compared with those without events. Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the TyG index was the significant factor determined for ECV fraction (rpartial = 0.36, P = 0.01). In multivariate Cox regression analysis, presence of diabetes [hazard ratio (HR) = 1.28, 95% confidence interval (CI) = 1.01–1.62], higher TyG index (HR = 2.01, 95% CI = 1.03–4.01), ECV fraction (HR = 1.73, 95% CI = 1.04–2.88), and NT-proBNP (HR = 2.13, 95% CI = 1.08–4.20) were independent risk factors for the primary outcome events.Conclusions: TyG index is a novel biomarker of myocardial fibrosis in HF patients and can be considered as a useful risk stratification metric in the management of HF.
