In recent years, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) has gradually become a focal point in the field of artificial intelligence applications, such as autonomous driving, and AR/VR, demonstrating its irreplaceable role. Traditional SLAM is based on assumptions of static scenes, resulting in low stability and accuracy in dynamic environments. To address this issue, a semantic SLAM system named BiSeNetV2-SLAM, combining ORB-SLAM2, BiSeNetV2, and optical flow fusion, has been proposed. Firstly, the system utilizes the BiSeNetV2 semantic segmentation network to eliminate potential prior dynamic objects. Subsequently, optical flow tracking is employed to detect the motion states of dynamic objects, achieving semantic SLAM in dynamic scenarios. Additionally, the system enhances feature matching accuracy and efficiency by combining the efficient local image descriptor BEBLID with the ORB feature extraction method. In multiple high-dynamic scenes from the TUM public dataset, In multiple high dynamic range scenes from the TUM public dataset, compared to ORB-SLAM2, the RMSE increased by more than 86%, and the S.D. increased by more than 89%. While maintaining similar accuracy compared to DynaSLAM, there was a significant improvement in processing speed.

The suppression technology assisted by longitudinal ultrasonic vibration was proposed to solve the problems of poor powder fluidity, uneven particle size distribution, and poor mechanical properties for the coarse-grained WC−10Co cemented carbides. The effects of compression force, height-diameter ratio, ultrasonic time of preloading, and ultrasonic amplitude on the compact density, compact surface quality, and mechanical properties of the alloys were discussed. The results show that, compared with the conventional pressing, the powder particles have the violent collision under the effect of ultrasonic vibration, enhancing the fluidity between particles. The density increases with the pressing force increase from 80 to 100 MPa. The compact density increases significantly, when the height-diameter ratio reduces, the ultrasonic time of preloading increases, and the ultrasonic amplitude increases. At the same time, the surface quality of the compacts is improved, and the elastic aftereffect is decreased by 0.16%. The pores of the alloys are reduced, the grain size is evenly distributed, and the coarse grain is reduced after sintering. With the little change in hardness and density, the fracture toughness increases by 5.83%~16.10%, while the bending strength decreases obviously.

Objectives: Circular RNA_0003489 (Circ_0003489) promotes multiple myeloma (MM) progression and bortezomib resistance in MM cells, while its potential as a biomarker in newly diagnosed MM (NDMM) patients is unclear. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the association of circ_0003489 expression with treatment response and survival in NDMM patients who received bortezomib-based induction therapy. Methods: Bone marrow (BM) specimens from 85 NDMM patients at diagnosis or before treatment and from 15 donor controls during BM examination were retrieved in this retrospective study. Circ_0003489 derived from BM plasma cells was detected by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction and cut by quartile and median for further analysis. Results: Circ_0003489 expression was increased in NDMM patients versus donor controls (P < 0.001). Circ_0003489 quartile was positively correlated with BM plasma cells (P = 0.040), international staging system (ISS) stage (P = 0.007), the revision of ISS stage (P = 0.003), beta-2-microglobulin (P = 0.011), and lactate dehydrogenase (P = 0.042) in NDMM patients. Increased circ_0003489 quartile was linked with a lower possibility of achieving complete response (P = 0.020) and partial response or better (P = 0.041) in NDMM patients. Elevated circ_0003489 expression cut by quartile (P = 0.020) and cut by median (P = 0.006) were linked with decreased progression-free survival (PFS) in NDMM patients. Increased circ_0003489 expression cut by median was associated with shortened overall survival (OS) in NDMM patients (P = 0.038). Meanwhile, higher circ_0003489 quartile independently forecasted poorer PFS (hazard ratio = 1.342, P = 0.045), but not OS in NDMM patients. Conclusion: Circ_0003489 expression is increased and reflects unfavorable treatment response and survival in NDMM patients who receive bortezomib-based induction therapy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study introduces a sophisticated methodology that integrates 3D assessment technology for the reorganization and recycling of retired lithium-ion battery packs, aiming to mitigate environmental challenges and enhance sustainability in the electric vehicle sector. By deploying a kernel extreme learning machine (KELM), variational mode decomposition (VMD), and an advanced sparrow search algorithm (SSA), the research achieves a marked increase in the precision of battery classification and performance forecasting. Implementing a three-dimensional dynamic evaluation model, the study optimizes battery pack grouping strategies, culminating in superior secondary utilization rates, extended operational lifespans, and minimized ecological footprints. The research demonstrates that balanced weight distribution strategies, which maximize energy density to 61.37571 Wh/L and cycle counts up to 947 cycles, are pivotal for the efficient reorganization of battery packs, substantiating the economic feasibility and environmental sustainability of recycling initiatives. Future endeavors will extend this research to investigate the influence of diverse battery materials and morphologies on reorganization efficacy, with the aim of broadening the application horizons to include real-world scenarios, thereby refining battery performance and lifespan predictions and propelling forward the frontiers of recycling technology and policy development. α-Conotoxins are disulfide-rich peptides obtained from the venom of cone snails, which are considered potential molecular probes and drug leads for nAChR-related disorders. However, low specificity towards different nAChR subtypes restricts the further application of many α-conotoxins. In this work, a series of loop1 amino acid-substituted mutants of α-conotoxin RegIIA were synthesized, whose potency and selectivity were evaluated by an electrophysiological approach. The results showed that loop1 alanine scanning mutants [H5A]RegIIA and [P6A]RegIIA blocked rα7 nAChR with IC50s of 446 nM and 459 nM, respectively, while their inhibition against rα3β2 and rα3β4 subtypes was negligible, indicating the importance of the fifth and sixth amino acid residues for RegIIA's potency and selectivity. Then, second-generation mutants were designed and synthesized, among which the analogues [H5V]RegIIA and [H5S]RegIIA showed significantly improved selectivity and comparable potency towards rα7 nAChR compared with the native RegIIA. Overall, these findings provide deep insights into the structure–activity relationship of RegIIA, as well as revealing a unique perspective for the further modification and optimization of α-conotoxins and other active peptides.
