According to the statistics, lung [...], Although excision repair cross-complementing group 6 (ERCC6) has heen reported to he associated with lung cancer risk, the specific roles of ERCC6 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) progression are inadequately studied. Thus, this study aimed to examine the potential functions of ERCC6 in NSCLC. The expression of ERCC6 in NSCLC was analyzed hy immunohistochemical staining and quantitative PCR Celigo cell count, colony formation, flow cytometry, wound-healing, and transwell assays were used to evaluate the effects of ERCC6 knockdown on the proliferation, apoptosis, and migration of NSCLC cells. The effect of ERCC6 knockdown on tumor-forming ability of NSCLC cells was estimated hy establishing xenograft model. ERCC6 was highly expressed in NSCLC tumor tissues and cell lines, and high ERCC6 expression was significantly associated with poor overall survival. Additionally ERCC6 knockdown significantly suppressed cell proliferation, colony formation and migration, while accelerated cell apoptosis of NSCLC cells in vitro. Moreover, ERCC6 knockdown inhibited tumor growth in vivo. Further studies verified that ERCC6 knockdown attenuated the expression levels of Bcl-w, CCND1, and c-Myc. Altogether, these data unveil a major role of ERCC6 in the progression of NSCLC, and ERCC6 is expected to become a novel therapeutic target for NSCLC treatment. The goal of this study was to examine longitudinal associations among unsociability and indices of socio-emotional functioning in a sample of young Chinese children. Participants were N = 360 children (M[subscript age] = 4.72 years, SD = 0.67) recruited from kindergarten classes in an urban area of China. Assessments of unsociability and adjustment were obtained at 2 time points (separated by 1 year) using multiple source assessments (maternal reports, child interviews, teacher ratings). Among the results, unsociability was concurrently (but not longitudinally) associated with teacher-rated anxiety-withdrawal at school. Some evidence of gender differences was also evident, with Time 1 peer preference more strongly associated with lower unsociability at Time 2 among girls than among boys. Results are discussed in terms of the meaning and implications of unsociability among young children in China.

With proven reserves of 9.836 × 1010 m3, the largest known natural gas reservoir among terrigenous basement rocks has been discovered within the granitoids of the northern Qaidam Basin. Due to their high heterogeneity, the genesis of basement reservoirs remains unknown. Herein, the structure of the weathering crust in granitoids and their potential controlling factors on the reservoir development mechanism are discussed using a multidisciplinary approach based on data from cores, thin sections, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), conventional and imaging logs, and physical property and major elements analyses. Moreover, the classification standard of the weathering crust structure is established. The dissolution belt holding diverse reservoir spaces accounts for more than 50% of the total porosity, while the disintegration belt is the main context for the development of cleavage fractures and crack fractures. The original pores exist mainly among the crystal grains of quartz and mica, while the secondary pores and fractures were generated by the alteration of aluminosilicate minerals as well as biotite or hornblende. The quality of these reservoirs is controlled by their mineral composition, tectonic uplift, faulting, and paleogeomorphology. The femic granitoid is the main reservoir-forming lithology in the case of dissolution, while the felsic granitoid is more likely to develop cracks. The formation of the disintegration belt is significantly linked to the presence of faulting. These belts were mostly induced by tectonic deformation along the Altyn fault belt from the late Oligocene to the early Miocene. The diversity in paleogeomorphology influences the extent of the weathering. The exhumation in the Altyn terrane from the late Jurassic to the Cenozoic corresponds to the weathering and hypergene leaching period of the weathering crust within granitoids. Three types of reservoirs are present in the rocks: fractured-porous (Type Ⅰ); porous (Type Ⅱ); and fractured (Type Ⅲ). The fractured-porous and fractured reservoirs were developed mainly in the granitic gneiss and granite, while the porous reservoir was formed in granitic diorite and granitic gneiss. The reservoirs that developed in the weathering crust of granitoids are dominated by Type Ⅰ and Type Ⅱ. The highest quality reservoir, which is the fractured-porous type, developed mainly in the dissolution belt of the weathering crust, and has a porosity ranging from 1.56% to 8.48% and a permeability ranging from 0.03 mD to 14.48 mD. The mechanisms of the development of weathering crust reservoirs provide further information for the hydrocarbon exploration of basement rocks worldwide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The widespread presence of hierarchical asymmetric structures in nature has sparked considerable interest because of their unique functionalities. These ingenious structures across multiple scales often emerge from the transfer and amplification of asymmetry from chiral molecules under various synergistic effects. However, constructing artificial chiral asymmetric structures, particularly in developing hierarchical multicomponent structures analogous to those formed in nature through synergistic non‐covalent interactions, still presents tremendous challenges. Herein, we propose a co‐assembly strategy to fabricate hierarchical chiral mesostructures by combining a liquid crystalline block copolymer (LC‐BCP) with a small molecular amphiphile containing chiral alanine or phenylalanine as a linker. Through a classic solvent‐exchange process, chiral amphiphiles embedded within LC‐BCP finely regulate the LC ordering effect and facilitate transfer and amplification of asymmetry. Consequently, various co‐assembled structures with significant hierarchical chirality features are obtained through synergetic effects. Remarkably, subtle alterations to the side groups of amino acids in the amphiphiles effectively adjust the hierarchical morphology transition. Moreover, the covalent bonding sequence of amino acids in the amphiphiles emerges as a critical factor governing the formation of hierarchical nanofibers and multilayered vesicles exhibiting a superhelical sense.
