Abstract

The parallel flow drop solvothermal method was utilized to synthesize the crystal of MOF-5 by taking the molar ratio of the metal ions to the organic ligands of 2:1 at 140∘C, and the reaction time at 12 hours. Meanwhile, the structure and properties of MOF-5 were characterized by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). SEM analysis shown that the crystal morphology of MOF-5 changed from sheet to cubic with increasing reaction temperature and molar ratio of the metal ions to the organic ligands, and its thermal stability was also gradually increased. TGA analysis shown that its thermal stability could live up to 489.36∘C. FTIR analysis shown that the terephthalic acid is completely protonated, and the Zn2+ and the carboxyl group are formed by the coordination of the multi-tooth bridge in the crystal of MOF-5. Then the structure activity relationship of the crystal MOF-5 synthesis, microstructural, thermal stability and N2 adsorption property were further studied.

16. Improved Performance of QDSSCs Can Be Achieved by Constructing a Transparent Anatase TiO2@MWCNT Photoanode Based on the Bionic Mountain Lotus

Abstract

In this research, the structural characteristics of the mountain holly leaf were emulated. It was observed that after the initially uneven surface of the petals is filled with infiltrated water, it exhibits a distinctive transparent beauty after rainfall. Furthermore, the presence of leaf veins enhances the structural strength of the petals and facilitates nutrient transport. Inspired by previous studies on double-layer spin-coated films, we further developed and designed the TA TiO2@MWCNT photocathode thin film. This innovative film incorporates multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) into a previously established TA TiO2photocathode thin film. The inclusion of MWCNT results in the formation of a three-dimensional highway structure, where MWCNT intertwines within the TA TiO2film. Under the operational state of immersion in the electrolyte, it maintains a level of transparency similar to that of the TA TiO2photoanode thin film. The high-temperature sintering process results in the oxidation and depletion of MWCNTs on the surface of the film, leaving behind uniformly dispersed concave defects, thereby greatly enhancing the specific surface area. The findings demonstrate that the optoelectrode of high transparency and high specific surface area, TA TiO2@MWCNT, comprehensively enhances the performance of the solar cells. The transparent QDSSC surpasses its counterparts for the first time, achieving a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 6.335%. This sets the stage for new materials and innovative approaches in the field of solar cells and other titanium dioxide film-related areas.

19. A Novel Double Stators Air-Core Pulsed Machine for Pulsed Power Supply Systems

Abstract

Air-core pulsed alternator (APA) has an outstanding ability to drive electromagnetic railgun with huge pulse current, due to the extremely low internal impedance produced by its nonferromagnetic structure, and the pulsed power supply system based on this lightweight machine has been an attractive choice for electromagnetic railgun. The system’s level of miniaturization and integration has been an urgent problem, making its usage in applications such as mobile vehicles or shipboard platforms severely limited. Therefore, an optimal system’s topology is very necessary to investigate for reducing the size of the whole system, it is easy to find the prime mover, and the field initiation module containing a high-voltage pulse capacitor module, can be taken into consideration. In this article, a novel double stators air-core pulsed machine is proposed, which is a new topology for integrating an outer rotor air-core permanent magnet synchronous motor (ORAPMSM) into an APA, and it has outstanding advantages of not increasing the axial length of APA and with the ability to replace the demand of the field initiation capacitor. This novel machine can improve the system’s energy storage density and power density effectively. In this text, the basic structure of the machine is introduced first, and then, the operating principle of the power supply system is given and an analytical calculation relating to the operating mode is developed in detail, a brief electromagnetic design of the machine is carried out too. Finally, the finite element analysis is used to verify the feasibility of the system, and an optimization is developed to improve the performance of the operating process.

21. Interface Regulation and Properties of Transparent Anatase TiO2 Photoanode Quantum Dot-Sensitized Solar Cells.

Abstract

In this work, we propose a strategy that is different from the traditional technology of increasing the specific area of the TiO2 film to improve the carrying capacity of QDs in QDSSCs. Transparent anatase TiO2 films are prepared by improving the optical transmittance of the photoanode TiO2 film so that the attached QDs can capture more photons and improve the efficiency of utilizing QDs. This QDSSC preparation technology sacrifices part of QDs loading but improves the utilization efficiency of QDs. At the same time, the transparent bulk TiO2 film decreases the transmission distance of photogenerated charge carriers, reduces the cross-interface transport, optimizes the transmission path, and reduces the carrier capture composite rate compared with the TiO2 particle film. Therefore, it not only increases the Voc, FF, and PCE of QDSSCs to 0.628 V, 54.7, and 6.166%, respectively, but also has greater transparency. It meets the demand for solar cell transparency in practical applications and has a wider range of applications and better aesthetics. The mechanism simulation and theoretical analysis of photothermal conversion and electromagnetic mechanism show that the barrier of carrier transfer in bulk transparent anatase TiO2 is lower than the physical barrier between anatase TiO2 NPs. The advantages of the anatase transparent TiO2 film in the process of photogenerated charge carrier transmission are verified. It provides an idea for the development of QDSSCs. 31. Design of a Wound Rotor Brushless Doubly-Fed Machine With 1/5 Pole-Pair Combination

Abstract

The brushless doubly-fed machine (BDFM) can be used in the variable speed constant frequency field. For BDFM, the choice of the pole-pair combination and the design of the rotor are significant. The output factor of the BDFM with 1/5 pole-pair combination is higher than that of the 2/4 pole-pair counterpart. However, the rotor of the BDFM with 1/5 pole-pair combination is hard to design for its wide pole-pair ratio. This article presents a 1/5 pole-pair combination BDFM used in hydropower with a three-phase symmetrical wound rotor to solve the design challenge. First, the magnetic field modulation theory of the BDFM and the optimal output power in terms of different pole-pair combinations are introduced. Then, the slot-number phase diagram and the ampere-conductor wave method are applied to design windings of a BDFM with 1/5 pole-pair combination. Finally, the finite element (FE) models of the 1/5 and the 2/4 pole-pair combination BDFMs are established for comparison. A prototype of the 1/5 pole-pair combination is manufactured based on the proposed design scheme. Simulated and experimental results verified the feasibility of the design scheme.

34. Effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture for the treatment of pain after laparoscopic surgery: a systematic review

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture for treating pain after laparoscopic surgery. METHODS: The following databases were searched (since their establishment until November 16, 2021) for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on electro-acupuncture for pain after laparoscopic surgery: PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Wanfang Database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database. Data were screened independently and extracted by two reviewers. Two researchers independently extracted and cross-checked data and applied the modified Jadad scale and the Cochrane-recommended assessment method to evaluate the bias risk. The Meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan5.3 software. RESULTS: Twelve RCTs enrolling 788 patients were included. (a) For postoperative 24 h visual analogue scale, five trials were included on electroacupuncture + routine analgesia therapy vs routine analgesia therapy with significance in electroacupuncture conducted after surgery [mean difference (MD) = -0.63, 95% confidence interval (CI) (-0.90, -0.37)], as well as in electroacupuncture conducted before and after surgery [MD = −1.01, 95% CI (−1.62, −0.41)] and in surgery. However, two trials were included in electroacupuncture conducted 24 h before surgery with no significant difference [MD = −0.16, 95% CI (−0.44, 0.12)]. (b) The anesthetics intake of electroacupuncture + routine analgesia therapy vs. routine analgesia therapy was significant [MD = −121.71, 95% CI (−164.92, −78.49)]. (c) The adverse effects of electroacupuncture + routine analgesia therapy vs. routine analgesia therapy were significant both in the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting [risk rate (RR) = 0.49, 95% CI (0.39, 0.61)] and postoperative dizziness and headache [RR = 0.14, 95% CI (0.04, 0.47)]. CONCLUSION: The evidence showed that electro-acupuncture combined with routine analgesia therapy effectively treated pain after laparoscopic surgery. However, more rigorously designed RCTs are required due to the low quality of the included studies and the incomplete outcome evaluation system.

Abstract

Homopolar inductor alternator (HIA) has obvious advantages to achieve fast charging and repetition frequency output, and it has been used in the capacitor charging power supply (CCPS) system. However, for the capacitor charging power supply with homopolar inductor alternator (HIA-CCPS), the influence on parameters of alternators and systems on charging has not been studied quantitatively. Also, there is still no proper method on how to combine these parameters with the alternator design for the existing HIA design methods. The application of voltage-behind-reactance (VBR) model in HIA-CCPS system greatly simplifies the analysis of parameters on the capacitor charging system. In this paper, based on the VBR-model, the influence of various parameters in the charging process on the performance of the charging system will be quantitatively studied, and according to the research results, the alternator design process based on the above analysis will be presented, at the same time, a prototype of HIA-CCPS system is designed to verify the above analysis.

However, the effects of circRNAs on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain largely unexplored. We explored the function of circRAD18 in AML development.Methods: QRT-PCR was performed for the levels of circRAD18, RAD18, microRNA-206 (miR-206) and protein kinase CAMP-activated catalytic subunit beta (PRKACB). Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay and colony formation assay were utilized for cell proliferation. Flow cytometry analysis was carried out to analyze cell apoptosis and cell cycle process. Transwell assay was manipulated for cell migration and invasion. Western blot assay was conducted for protein levels. Dual-luciferase reporter assay was adopted to verify the interaction between miR-206 and circRAD18 or PRKACB.Results: CircRAD18 level was increased in AML patients’ blood specimens and AML cell lines compared to normal controls. CircRAD18 knockdown impeded the proliferation, migration and invasion and facilitated the apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in AML cells. Moreover, circRAD18 was identified as a sponge for miR-206, and circRAD18 knockdown-mediated effect on AML cell progression was reversed by miR-206 suppression. Additionally, PRKACB was the target gene of miR-206. MiR-206 overexpression suppressed the malignant behaviors of AML cells, while PRKACB elevation restored the effects.Conclusion: CircRAD18 aggravated the malignancy of AML cells through reducing miR-206 expression and elevating PRKACB expression, indicating circRAD18 might be a therapeutic target for AML.Keywords: AML, circRAD18, miR-206, PRKACB
