The traditional manual design process of Series Propellers is cumbersome, and the results can be poor sometimes. It fails to meet the evolutionary requirements of design and manufacturing technology and is less favorable to the performance analysis and efficiency optimization of the propeller. In order to easily and flexibly facilitate this process, a method has been developed in this paper, which was derived from hydrodynamic test charts of series propellers, and the MOGA and CFD are applied to the optimization. The particle swarm is generated by self-developed CAD program in order to establish the mathematical model conveniently and accurately. As for further optimization, the deformation process extracts four variables, which alters the radial distribution of the Rake and Skew of the propeller. Highly parameterized and automated modeling technique provides plenty of 3D deformation propeller models for mass CFD, which also works quickly and automatically thanks to PBM. The method in the paper fully digitize the propeller design process with certain robustness and has practical significance design today.

This article proposes an approach to multi-attribute decision making (MADM) where individual assessments are provided as interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs). Firstly, some Einstein geometric operators on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, such as Einstein product, Einstein exponentiation etc., and their characteristics are introduced. Secondly, some Einstein geometric operators, such as the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein weighted geometric operator, interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted geometric operator and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted geometric (IV IFHWG^@e) operator, are developed for aggregating the IVIFNs. Moreover, various properties of these operators are established. Finally, an IV IFHWG^@e operator based approach to MADM under interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environments is proposed. An illustrative propulsion/manoeuvring system selection problem is employed to demonstrate how to apply the proposed procedure and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed method.

L-Prolinethioamide derivative 1c, prepared from the readily available natural amino acids L-proline and L-valine, was studied for the direct asymmetric aldol reaction of acetone with various aromatic aldehydes at 0 °C or room temperature. A loading of only 0.1―0.2 mol-% of derivative 1c was employed in this catalytic system, and excellent enantio-selectivities and yields (up to 98 % yield, >99 % ee) could be achieved in aqueous media.

A convenient and reliable base-promoted borylation route to synthesize novel 1,2-borazaronaphthalenes starting from easily available imines under mild conditions is presented.

A new route from benzylic imines permits the synthesis of 1,2-borazaronaphthalenes in good yields. The reaction involves formation of the enamidyl dibromoborane, which undergoes base-promoted borylation of the nearby aromatic C–H bond. Electrophilic attack of the boron species onto the benzylic arene is supported by the slow borylation of arenes substituted with electron-withdrawing groups. The resultant boron bromides can be easily substituted with lithium reagents to provide a range of products. The electronic properties of these 1,2-borazaronaphthalene derivatives have been investigated by UV–vis and fluorescence spectroscopy.

Comparing the large number of research paper on OWA (ordered weighted averaging) operators, the research on relative quantifier are relatively rare so far. In the present paper, based on the quantifier guided aggregation method with OWA operator which was proposed by Yager, a generating function representation method for RIM (regular increasing monotone) quantifiers is proposed. We extend the properties of OWA operators to the RIM quantifiers. Some properties of the generating function and its orness measure are systematically analyzed.

Considering that the concept of interdependence concept proposed by Carlsson and Fuller, we found that it can only be applied to one dimension decision space, In this paper, we generalize the concept of objectives interdependence under the multidimensional conditions based on the gradients of the objectives. The new interdependence concept can reflect both the relationship and the degrees of the objectives' support or conflict. Then the application functions are constructed based on the interdependence grades of the objectives, and they are aggregated by entropy regularization procedure to solve the multiobjective programming problems. A numerical example shows the effect of the approach.

In this paper, some properties of geometric OWA operator are investigated. The equivalence of the geometric OWA operator and the Maximum Entropy OWA operator is proved.

The present paper based on the current development of the fuzzy multiobjective decision making research, explores the properties of the weighted arithmetic average aggregate operator and proposes a fuzzy inference based aggregate method that corresponds to a series of weighted arithmetic average operators with changing weights. The method means much to the decision maker, making it possible for him to express his preference directly. It compensates the limitations of the ordinary aggregate method represented by some analytic formulas. A numerical example is provided to show the merits of the approach.

Based on the recent research developments of fuzzy number ranking, the paper extends the centroid expectation approach and proposes a preference weighting function expectation method to rank fuzzy numbers. The weighting function gives different emphasis on the possible values of the fuzzy number, which can be used to represent the decision maker's pessimistic, neutral, or optimistic attitude. An optimistic measure to represent this preference information is proposed. Some properties of the weighting function and optimistic measure are systematically analyzed. Then, the paper proposes a special class weighting function with maximum entropy principle and analyzes some of its properties. With this parameterized maximum entropy weighting function, we can get preference expectation of any fuzzy number with given optimistic level. Next, the weighting function is extended to represent the confidential attitude of the decision maker by giving different emphasis on the cut level set of the fuzzy number. Some results about confidential attitude that parallel to the valuation attitude are attained. We especially extended the BADD (basic defuzzification distribution) approach with preference expectation of fuzzy numbers, and another confidential measure with BADD operator is proposed. Finally, the expected valuations of fuzzy numbers are used to ranking the fuzzy numbers. Compared with other fuzzy number ranking methods, the method of this paper is easily interpreted, robust, flexible, and invariant with translating and scaling for real numbers.
