As a manifestation of metabolic syndrome in the liver, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has become the top cause of liver disease in many countries. Recent studies have shown that intestinal microbiota disorder plays an important role in the occurrence and development of NAFLD and that regulating intestinal microbiota provides a new option for NAFLD treatment. In addition, research indicates that risk of NAFLD increases as body mass index rises, and interventions that reduce body weight and change diet can help to lower the incidence of NAFLD. Studies have found that 919 syrup may effectively treat NAFLD in rats by improving liver function and lipid metabolism and regulating body weight and feed intake, however, its potential toxicity and the specific mechanism by which it controls this disease require further exploration. This study assesses both the toxicity of 919 syrup and its regulatory effect on the appetite-related Ghrelin pathway and intestinal microbiota of rats with NAFLD. Results indicate that 919 syrup has no obvious side-effects on body weight, feed intake, blood glucose level, hepatorenal function, and liver tissue structure of normal rats. Moreover, 919 syrup can reverse abnormal changes to expression of Ghrelin pathway genes related to appetite in both the brain and stomach and repair alterations to the intestinal microbiota in rats with NAFLD. This herbal medicine is a safe and promising therapeutic drug for the treatment of NAFLD.

Cogging torque reduction is one of the most important requirements in the design of BLDC motors due to its direct impact on the performance of the motor. In this paper, the influences of tooth width and slot/pole match on cogging torque corresponding to both uniformed teeth and nonuniformed teeth were theoretically analyzed on the basis of analytical expressions of cogging torque deduced with energy method. Furthermore, several models which denote features of different slots and poles were setup and calculated in finite element analysis software Flux2D, the result of which verified the theoretical analysis. Valuable conclusions and some suggestions were given in the paper which is meaningful to the design of good performance BLDC motors.

The numerical study on furnace flow, heat transfer and combustion process for the 600MW tangential firing boiler in a power plant under the O 2 /CO 2 atmosphere has been researched. The results showed that: With the oxygen molar concentration increasing, the temperature in furnace increases and the high temperature region in furnace becomes larger which is favorable to pulverized coal ignition under the O 2 /CO 2 atmosphere. But considering the safety of burner and water wall slagging, the oxygen molar concentration is not too high. Oxygen-enriched combustion has little effect on the upper layer pulverized coal combustion, but it has great effect on under layer pulverized coal combustion. Compared with pulverized coal combustion under the air atmosphere, the furnace flame central position moves upward, and the characteristic of temperature distribution in furnace is beneficial to preventing water wall from slagging when the oxygen molar concentration is not too high.

The steady state characteristics reflect the main transmitting capability of the permanent magnetic gear (PMG). The static and following-up characteristics of the parallel-axis PMG were analyzed with the help of Flux2D. The simulation result of static torque validated the feasibility of the structure of the parallel-axis PMG. During the process of actual operating, the driving torque on the passive part was a fluctuating quantity and the fluctuation amount is directly related to the starting angle of the active part.
