Abstract Objective To determine the value of preoperative CT perfusion (CTP) parameters for prediction of post-revascularization cerebral infarction (post-CI) in adults with moyamoya disease (MMD). Methods This retrospective study included 92 adults with MMD who underwent surgical revascularization. Preoperative quantitative CTP parameters, including cerebral blood flow (CBF), cerebral blood volume (CBV), mean transit time (MTT), time to drain (TTD), and transit time to maximum of the residue function (Tmax), along with clinical data, were compared between the groups with and without post-CI. Predictors of post-CI were identified and assessed using multivariable logistic regression and receiver-operating characteristic curve analyses. Results Post-CI occurred in 11 patients (12.0%). In univariate analysis, preoperative mean values for CBF, MTT, TTD, Tmax, initial presentation, infarction within the 2 months before surgery, surgical side, and modified Rankin Scale score on admission were associated with post-CI (all p 3.590 s. Cerebral infarction during the 2 months before revascularization is also a risk factor for post-CI. Critical relevance statement Post-CI is a serious complication for adults with MMD following surgical revascularization. The risk of post-CI can be predicted using preoperative CTP parameters, which will assist neurosurgeons with surgical decisions and implementing individualized prophylactic strategies. Key Points Predicting the risk of post-CI in MMD patients is beneficial to their prognosis. The preoperative mean Tmax was an excellent perfusion parameter for predicting post-CI. Preoperative CTP evaluation can help clinicians make cautious surgical decisions. Graphical Abstract

Our aim was to understand the contribution of the country of origin of the publication, the institution, the authors, and the collaborative relationship between them.MethodsWe performed a bibliometric analysis to summarize and explore the research hotspots and trends of oxidative stress in the DR.ResultsWe observe an upward trend in the number of posts on related topics from year to year. Expanding on this, Queens University Belfast is the most influential research institution. Current research hotspots and trends focus on the mechanism of autophagy and NLRP3 inflammasome's role in oxidative stress in DR.DiscussionWe conducted a multi-dimensional analysis of the research status of oxidative stress in diabetic retinopathy through bibliometric analysis, and proposed possible future research trends and hotspots.

The bacterial ATP-competitive GyrB/ParE subunits of type II topoisomerase are important anti-bacterial targets to treat super drug-resistant bacterial infections. Herein we discovered novel pyrrolamide-type GyrB/ParE inhibitors based on the structural modifications of the candidate AZD5099 that was withdrawn from the clinical trials due to safety liabilities such as mitochondrial toxicity. The hydroxyisopropyl pyridazine compound 28 had a significant inhibitory effect on Gyrase (GyrB, IC50 = 49 nmol/L) and a modest inhibitory effect on Topo IV (ParE, IC50 = 1.513 μmol/L) of Staphylococcus aureus. It also had significant antibacterial activities on susceptible and resistant Gram-positive bacteria with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of less than 0.03 μg/mL, which showed a time-dependent bactericidal effect and low frequencies of spontaneous resistance against S. aureus. Compound 28 had better protective effects than the positive control drugs such as DS-2969 (5) and AZD5099 (6) in mouse models of sepsis induced by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection. It also showed better bactericidal activities than clinically used vancomycin in the mouse thigh MRSA infection models. Moreover, compound 28 has much lower mitochondrial toxicity than AZD5099 (6) as well as excellent therapeutic indexes and pharmacokinetic properties. At present, compound 28 has been evaluated as a pre-clinical drug candidate for the treatment of drug-resistant Gram-positive bacterial infection. On the other hand, compound 28 also has good inhibitory activities against stubborn Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli (MIC = 1 μg/mL), which is comparable with the most potent pyrrolamide-type GyrB/ParE inhibitors reported recently. In addition, the structure–activity relationships of the compounds were also studied.

IntroductionOwing to the increased transmissibility of the Omicron virus, Shanghai implemented a citywide lockdown in 2022. This measure disrupted the normal functioning of the city’s food system and led to incidents related to food insecurity within the city. To mitigate these challenges, the local government and various stakeholders devised various solutions.MethodsIn this context, we adopted a root cause analysis to report the disruptions caused by the lockdown on Shanghai’s food system.ResultsAccording to disruptions, we listed the challenges faced by Shanghai’ food system and solutions implemented by the government and stakeholders.DiscussionWe discussed the underlying reasons behind food system disruptions and listed advantages of Shanghai’s solutions. We further scrutinized the sustainability of the solutions implemented in Shanghai. Finally, we discussed how to promote the urban food system resilience building based on research findings. The findings of this research are anticipated to provide valuable insights for other areas that may encounter similar challenges in the future while fortify their urban food systems.

Abstract China's flower industry is developing rapidly, and the size of the retail market is increasing year by year. Studying the factors influencing residents' flower purchasing behavior and understanding their flower needs can help promote the sustainable development of the flower industry. Based on customer satisfaction theory, this paper uses 838 consumer research questionnaires from 15 districts in Shanghai to analyze the influence of customer satisfaction on residents' flower purchasing behavior by conducting a binary logit model and to investigate the moderating effect of flower purchasing purpose on the influence of satisfaction. The results show that price satisfaction and satisfaction with promotional methods have a significant negative effect on flower purchasing behavior, service satisfaction has a significant positive effect on purchasing behavior, and different customer purchase purposes lead to different intensities of the effect of satisfaction on purchasing behavior. According to the conclusion of the study, three countermeasures are proposed: to popularize the knowledge of flower culture, guide the concept of flower consumption, and promote the transformation of flower consumption to daily consumption; to conduct regular research on consumers by flower merchants to clarify consumers' needs and improve their satisfaction; to clarify consumers' purchase intention, increase the investment in the research and development and cultivation of flower products, and improve the supply level of flowers.

ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between childhood maltreatment, growth mindset, beliefs about adversity and learning engagement among high school students.MethodsResearch participants were selected by random cluster sampling.652 high school students (50.2% male and 49.8% female) from five high schools were investigated using paper-pencil survey versions of Child Trauma Questionnaire, The Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-student, Growth Mindset Scale, and The Beliefs About Adversity Scale.ResultsChildhood maltreatment had a significant negative effect on high school students’ learning engagement. Childhood maltreatment directly predicted high school students’ learning engagement and also had an indirect negative predictive effect on learning engagement via growth mindsetConclusionGrowth mindset plays a mediating role between childhood maltreatment and learning engagement. The beliefs about adversity moderated the relationship between childhood maltreatment and growth mindset, as well as the relationship between childhood maltreatment and learning engagement. This study has empirical implications for helping high school students who have experienced childhood maltreatment to develop growth mindset and teaching students to adopt positive adversity beliefs in response to trauma during psychological interventions, thereby increasing high school students’ engagement in learning.

Background: Apoptosis and pyroptosis are two types of programmed cell death related to the neuroinflammatory reaction after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Research indicates that triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) can regulate the SAH-induced inflammatory response. However, whether TREM2 regulates programmed cell death (apoptosis and pyroptosis) remains to be clarified. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of TREM2 on cell death in SAH. Methods: SAH was induced in adult male C57BL/6J mice by endovascular perforation. An in-vitro cellular model of SAH was established by treating cocultured BV2 microglia and HT22 neuronal cells with oxyhemoglobin. TREM2 overexpression or knockdown was carried out by intraventricular lentivirus injection at 7 d before SAH induction in mice or lentiviral transfection, respectively. Neurobehavioral tests as well as western blot, reverse transcription–quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), immunofluorescence, Evans blue (EB) staining, Nissl staining, and flow cytometry assays were performed to investigate the neuroprotective role of TREM2 after SAH. Results: After SAH, the TREM2 mRNA and protein levels were elevated in SAH mice, exhibiting a peak at 72 h. TREM2 overexpression improved the SAH-induced neurological deficits in mice, while TREM2 knockdown worsened them. In the brains of mice with TREM2 overexpression, less neuronal death and more neuronal survival were detected at 72 h post SAH. Meanwhile, TREM2 overexpression showed an inhibitory effect on microglial activation, neutrophil infiltration, and the expression of cell death marker proteins. Consistent results were obtained in vitro. Conclusions: Our research indicates the important role of TREM2 on cell death after SAH, suggesting that targeting TREM2 might be an effective approach for treating SAH.

Abstract Background Previous studies suggest that retirement, a major life event, affects overall healthcare utilization. We examine, the effects of retirement on inpatient healthcare utilization, including effect heterogeneity by gender, disease category, and type of health service. Methods We used routine health insurance claims data (N = 87,087) spanning the period 2021 - September 2013 from the Urban Employee Basic Medical Insurance (UEBMI), a mandatory social health insurance for working and retired employees in urban China. We applied a non-parametric fuzzy regression discontinuity design using the statutory retirement age in urban China as an exogenous instrument to measure the causal effect of retirement on six measures of inpatient healthcare utilization. Results Retirement reduced total hospital costs (-84.71 Chinese Yuan (CNY), 95% confidence interval (CI) -172.03 – 2.61), shortened length of hospital stays (-44.59, 95% CI -70.50 – -18.68), and increased hospital readmissions (0.06, 95% CI 0.00 – 0.12) and primary hospital visits (0.06, 95% CI 0.02 – 0.09) among women. Retirement did not significantly change inpatient healthcare utilization among men. The retirement effects among women varied by disease category. Specifically, retirement substantially increased hospitalizations for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), yet had only modest or no effect on hospitalizations for communicable diseases or injuries. Retirement effects among women also varied by the type of services. For relatively inexpensive services, such as nonoperative treatment, there were surges in the extensive margin (hospital readmission). For relatively expensive and invasive services, such as surgeries, retirement reduced the intensive margin (out-of-pocket expenditures and length of stay). Conclusions Retirement decreases overall use of inpatient healthcare for women. The examination on the disease-related heterogeneous effects helps with the introduction and implementation of integrated healthcare delivery and appropriate incentive schemes to encourage better use of healthcare resources among older adults.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the double microcatheter technique in the treatment of ruptured aneurysms of the anterior cerebral circulation.MethodsBetween 2012 and 2019, 113 patients with ruptured aneurysms of the anterior cerebral circulation were treated using the double microcatheter technique. Clinical records, angiographic results, and procedure-related complications were reviewed. Clinical and angiographic follow-up was performed.ResultsComplete occlusion, neck remnant, and partial occlusion were, respectively, recorded in 56.6, 38.9, and 4.4% of the total cases. For all patients, the incidence of intraoperative complications was 5.3% (6/113), and the overall rate of morbidity was 10.6% (12/113). Before discharge, three patients (2.7%) died. There was no procedure-related mortality. At discharge, favorable outcomes were observed in 79.6% (90/113) of the patients. High Hunt-Hess grades and receiving a craniotomy or external ventricular drainage were risk factors for clinical outcomes at discharge. Clinical follow-up was performed in 91 patients at a mean interval of 14.07 ± 11.68 months. At follow-up, favorable outcomes were observed in 92.3% (84/91) of the patients. Angiographic follow-up was performed in 66 patients at an average of 11.53 ± 11.13 months. The recurrence rate was 37.9%. Of these patients, 13 (19.7%) received retreatment.ConclusionThe double microcatheter technique can be performed in ruptured aneurysms with high technical success and low morbidity/mortality. However, recurrence remains a problem, and patients should be followed up regularly.

ObjectiveTo examine the relationship between fear of recurrence and depression in patients with cancer.Materials and methodsTwo hundred and fifty-nine participants completed self-report questionnaires, including the Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form, Rumination Inventory, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (Chinese version), and Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale.ResultsFear of recurrence in patients with cancer was moderate, and the level of depression was significantly higher than that in the normal population. Fear of recurrence, invasive rumination, catastrophizing, and depression in patients with cancer were significantly positively correlated. The level of fear of recurrence was a significant positive predictor of the level of depression. Invasive rumination played a partial mediating role between fear of recurrence and depression; that is, fear of recurrence directly affected depression, and fear of recurrence indirectly affected depression through invasive rumination. Catastrophizing played a moderating role in the mediation model, in which fear of recurrence affected depression through invasive rumination.ConclusionInvasive rumination plays a mediating role between fear of recurrence and depression in patients with cancer. Catastrophizing moderates the relationship between fear of recurrence and depression as well as the relationship between invasive rumination and depression.

To address the problems of low productivity and sizeable dispensing positioning errors in manual and semi-automatic dispensing processes in small- and medium-sized electronic enterprises, this study proposes a fully automatic dispensing method based on visual positioning with RJDNEL-type PCBs as the research object. The fully automatic dispensing system is constructed through the construction of a mechanical structure, the selection of optical equipment, and the debugging of the control system. The method is based on optical imaging technology. Firstly, the dispensing area is extracted through image preprocessing; then, the edge is detected by the Sobel operator, and the Hilditch operator optimizes the dispensing sharpness; then, the minimum outer rectangle algorithm is used to calculate the positioning information of the dispensing area by using the relationship between geometric transformations, which provides the database support for the realization of automatic dispensing; finally, the simulated annealing algorithm is adopted to optimize the dispensing path. Through the image acquisition matching experiments and positioning accuracy experimental analysis, it is concluded that the matching success rate is more than 99%, and the image positioning information repeated extraction accuracy error is less than 0.02 mm. Analysis of the total path of dispensing, as well as computing time, was performed as follows: for the complete dispensing process, 20 PCB boards were used; the path optimization of the dispensing path was reduced by 723.4 mm, and the dispensing efficiency was improved by 20% to 30%; after dispensing, the dispensing area measurement was performed on the PCB boards. PCB boards meet the quality requirements of dispensing, and the proposed method for meeting the quality of dispensing at the same time effectively improves the dispensing accuracy and efficiency.

ObjectiveTo examine the relationship among childhood trauma, acceptance, positive reappraisal and post-traumatic growth (PTG) among college students.MethodsResearch participants were selected by random cluster sampling. 1,028 college students (62.6% female, 30.5% only-children) from 8 universities were investigated using manuscript-pencil survey versions of Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form (CTQ-SF), Cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire–Chinese version (CERQ-C) and Post traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI).ResultsTraumatic childhood experience significantly negatively predicts post traumatic growth in college students. Exposure to traumatic experiences in childhood can directly negatively predict post-traumatic growth and indirectly positively predict post traumatic growth via acceptance.ConclusionAcceptance plays a mediating role between childhood traumatic experience and post traumatic growth. The mediating effect of acceptance is moderated by the positive reappraisal. When individuals have a lower level of positive reappraisal, the mediating effect between traumatic experience and post traumatic growth is significant. Several clinical implications for clinical psychology and psychological intervention are highlighted. Starting with changing individual cognition and helping individuals adopt positive cognitive emotion regulation strategies can help individuals actively reevaluate traumatic experience, so as to gain better and faster counseling results.

Intervertebral discdegeneration (IDD) is the most common cause of lower back pain, but the exact molecular mechanism of IDD is still unknown. Recently, studies have shown that circular RNAs (circRNAs) regulate diverse biological procedures such as cell metastasis, growth, metabolism, migration, apoptosis, and invasion. We demonstrated that IL-1β and TNF-α induced circ_0005918 expression in the NP cell, and circ_0005918 was overexpressed in the IDD group compared with the control group. Moreover, the upregulated expression of circ_0005918 was associated with disc degeneration degree. The elevated expression of circ_0005918 promoted cell growth and ECM degradation, and it induced secretion of inflammatory cytokines including IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α. Moreover, we found that circ_0005918 sponged miR-622 in the NP cell. In addition, the exposure to IL-1β and TNF-α suppressed the expression of miR-622, which was downregulated in the IDD group compared with the control group. Furthermore, the downregulated expression of miR-622 was associated with disc degeneration degree. The expression level of miR-622 was negatively associated with circ_0005918 expression in the IDD group. In conclusion, circ_0005918 regulated cell growth, ECM degradation, and secretion of inflammatory cytokines by regulating miR-622 expression. These data suggested that circ_0005918 played important roles in the development of IDD via sponging miR-622.

Because of the superior characteristics of photocrosslinkable hydrogels suitable for 3D cell-laden bioprinting, tissue regeneration based on photocrosslinkable hydrogels has become an important research topic. However, due to nutrient permeation obstacles caused by the dense networks and static culture conditions, there have been no successful reports on in vitro cartilage regeneration with certain thicknesses based on photocrosslinkable hydrogels. To solve this problem, hydrostatic pressure (HP) provided by the bioreactor was used to regulate the in vitro cartilage regeneration based on hybrid photocrosslinkable (HPC) hydrogel. Chondrocyte laden HPC hydrogels (CHPC) were cultured under 5 MPa HP for 8 weeks and evaluated by various staining and quantitative methods. Results demonstrated that CHPC can maintain the characteristics of HPC hydrogels and is suitable for 3D cell-laden bioprinting. However, HPC hydrogels with concentrations over 3% wt% significantly influenced cell viability and in vitro cartilage regeneration due to nutrient permeation obstacles. Fortunately, HP completely reversed the negative influences of HPC hydrogels at 3% wt%, significantly enhanced cell viability, proliferation, and extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition by improving nutrient transportation and up-regulating the expression of cartilage-specific genes, and successfully regenerated homogeneous cartilage with a thickness over 3 mm. The transcriptome sequencing results demonstrated that HP regulated in vitro cartilage regeneration primarily by inhibiting cell senescence and apoptosis, promoting ECM synthesis, suppressing ECM catabolism, and ECM structure remodeling. Evaluation of in vivo fate indicated that in vitro regenerated cartilage in the HP group further developed after implantation and formed homogeneous and mature cartilage close to the native one, suggesting significant clinical potential. The current study outlines an efficient strategy for in vitro cartilage regeneration based on photocrosslinkable hydrogel scaffolds and its in vivo application.

Tissue engineering provides a new approach for the treatment of osteochondral defects. However, the lack of an ideal double-layer scaffold with osteochondral-biomimetic microenvironment and interface similar to native articular tissue greatly limits clinical translation. Our current study developed a double-layer acellular osteochondral matrix (AOM) scaffold with natural osteochondral-biomimetic microenvironment and interface by integrating ultraviolet (UV) laser and decellularization techniques. The laser parameters were optimized to achieve a proper pore depth close to the osteochondral interface, which guaranteed complete decellularization, sufficient space for cell loading, and relative independence of the chondrogenic and osteogenic microenvironments. Gelatin-methacryloyl (GelMA) hydrogel was further used as the cell carrier to significantly enhance the efficiency and homogeneity of cell loading in the AOM scaffold with large pore structure. Additionally, in vitro results demonstrated that the components of the AOM scaffold could efficiently regulate the chondrogenic/osteogenic differentiations of bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) by activating the chondrogenic/osteogenic related pathways. Importantly, the AOM scaffolds combined with BMSC-laden GelMA hydrogel successfully realized tissue-specific repair of the osteochondral defects in a knee joint model of rabbit. The current study developed a novel double-layer osteochondral biomimetic scaffold and feasible strategy, providing strong support for the tissue-specific repair of osteochondral defects and its future clinical translation.

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of endovascular treatment for ruptured very small (≤3 mm) intracranial aneurysms (VSIAs).Methods: The clinical data and imaging results for 152 patients with VSIAs treated with coil embolization from August 2014 to June 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. The influential factors related to the preoperative complications, aneurysm recurrence, and clinical outcomes for these patients were analyzed.Results: Among 152 patients with ruptured VSIAs, 90 were treated with coil embolization alone, while 62 were treated with stent-assisted coil embolization. Eighteen patients experienced intra and/or postoperative complications (overall incidence = 11.8%). One person died of intraoperative aneurysm re-rupture and postoperative rebleeding (mortality rate = 0.65%). Twenty patients had various degrees of neurological dysfunction (morbidity rate = 13.1%). Statistical analysis showed that there was no independent risk factor associated with perioperative complications. The rate of complete aneurysm occlusion at discharge and follow-up was 76.3 and 86.2%, respectively. A total of 105 patients underwent digital subtraction angiography during follow-up, and 18 of them experienced postoperative recurrence (recurrence rate = 17.1%). Seven patients were retreated (retreatment rate = 6.7%). The use of stents was the only factor that affected the postoperative recurrence of aneurysm. The incidence of favorable clinical outcomes (Glasgow Outcome Scale score ≥ 4) at discharge and follow-up was 86.2 and 97.1%, respectively. Univariate analysis showed that the preoperative Hunt-Hess grade, CT Fisher grade, and perioperative complications were risk factors for poor clinical outcomes. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that perioperative complication was the most significant risk factor for the clinical prognosis of patients with ruptured VSIAs.Conclusion: Endovascular treatment is a safe and efficient approach for ruptured VSIAs. Stent-assisted coiling reduced the recurrence rate of aneurysm without increasing the incidence of perioperative complications. The Hunt-Hess grade, CT Fisher grade, and perioperative complications were independent factors associated with the clinical outcomes of patients with ruptured VSIAs, and perioperative complication was the most significant risk factor for poor prognosis in patients.

Objective: Morphological and hemodynamic parameters might predict rupture of intracranial aneurysms (IAs). A practical model for the study is patients with ruptured mirror IAs in which one is ruptured and the other is unruptured. Although there have been analyses of the morphology and hemodynamics of ruptured mirror posterior communicating artery aneurysms (PComAAs), the sample sizes in these studies were small and only considered hemodynamics or morphological characters. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the morphological and hemodynamic parameters associated with ruptured mirror PComAAs.Methods: We considered 72 patients with ruptured mirror PComAAs using computational fluid dynamics (CFDs). Ruptured mirror PComAAs were divided into ruptured and unruptured groups. Fourteen morphological and eight hemodynamic parameters were calculated and compared. Significant parameters were analyzed by the multivariate logistic regression to identify independent risk factors. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was performed, and the area under the ROC curve (AUC) was calculated for all independent risk factors to determine the predictability and identify the optimal threshold.Results: Four hemodynamic and three morphological parameters were significantly different between ruptured and unruptured groups: normalized wall shear stress (NWSS), mean WSS, low wall shear WSS area (LSA%), size, aspect ratio (AR), size ratio (SR), and inflow angle (IA). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that AR, SR, NWSS, mean WSS, and LSA% were all independent factors significantly associated with PComAAs rupture. The ROC analysis for independent risk factors indicated that AR (0.751), NWSS (0.755), mean WSS (0.69), and LSA (0.778) had merely acceptable AUC values. Only SR (0.803) had a high acceptable AUC value. The threshold value of SR was 1.96.Conclusions: SR (>1.96) was the most significant parameter associated with IA rupture, whereas AR, NWSS, mean WSS, and LSA independently characterized the status of IA rupture.

This study aims to assess the safety and efficacy of the modified treatment through point-to-point coil embolization of direct carotid cavernous fistula (dCCF), and evaluate the long-term outcome of patients who underwent the above treatment. A total of 18 patients who suffered from dCCF (a total of 19 fistulas) between January 2013 to May 2020 were analyzed. Among these patients, 14 patients were treated through point-to-point coil embolization of the fistula, while four patients were treated through combined endovascular embolization (coils, a balloon, Onyx, and/or a stent). The number of coils that filled the fistulas was counted. The primary outcome was defined by post-operative digital subtraction angiography (DSA) or the signs after the recanalization of dCCFs during the follow-up period. For patients with dCCF who underwent point-to-point coil embolization, a minimum of three coils and a maximum of 16 coils were used for these 14 fistula patients, and an average of 7.9 coils were used for each fistula, but none of the fistulas was recanalized. Furthermore, two pseudoaneurysms were observed as a result of the compression of the coils. However, none of these 14 patients presented with signs of recanalization of fistulas or cranial paralysis. The procedure applied for the present study was shown to be a safe, economical and efficacious treatment approach for dCCFs through the point-to-point coil embolization of the fistula.

Objective: Posterior communicating artery bifurcation aneurysms (PcomA-BAs) and infundibular dilations (PcomA-IDs) are found at the junction between the internal carotid artery (ICA) and the posterior communicating artery (PcomA). Several studies found that PcomA-IDs potentially progress to aneurysms and can even rupture. In our clinical practice, digital subtraction angiography (DSA) helps differentiate PcomA-IDs from unruptured PcomA-BAs. However, when PcomA-IDs are >3 mm in diameter or PcomA are absent on DSA, it is challenging to use DSA to differentiate PcomA-IDs from unruptured PcomA-BAs. Hemodynamic and morphological factors are thought to play important roles in the pathogenesis, progression, and rupture of cerebral aneurysms. We compared hemodynamic and morphological differences in unruptured PcomA-BAs and PcomA-IDs to better manage PcomA-IDs.Methods: We included 83 PcomA-IDs and 115 unruptured PcomA-BAs dignosed and measured using DSA from January 2015 to January 2019. Computational fluid dynamics was performed on these patient-specific models reconstructed using axial slices in DICOM format. Clinical, hemodynamic, and morphological factors were compared between the PcomA-IDs and PcomA-BAs. Significant parameters were analyzed using binary logistic regression analysis to identify independent risk factors. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was performed on the independent risk factors to acquire cutoff values.Results: One hemodynamic and four morphyological parameters were significantly different between PcomA-IDs and PcomA-BAs: normalized wall shear stress (NWSS), size, the angle between the ophthalmic segment of the ICA and the PcomA (APcomA), the angle between the ophthalmic and the communicating segment of the ICA (AICA) and the diameter of the PcomA (DPcomA). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that small size and DPcomA as well as APcomA were all independent significant factors characterizing the status of PcomA-IDs and the ROC analysis for independent risk factors indicated the cutoff values of size, APcomA, and DPcomA were 3.45 mm, 66.27°, and 1.24 mm, respectively.Conclusions: Size, DpcomA, and ApcomA could independently characterize the status of PcomA-IDs. These might help us better differentiate them from real aneurysms and guide its management.

Background: Some bereaved parents experience a decreasing trajectory of grief, while others fail to adapt over the long term and persistently suffer from negative health consequences. This study investigates the mediating role of social integration in the relationship between losing an only child and parental health in a family-oriented society. Method: A sample of 1828 bereaved parents and 4739 non-bereaved parents was drawn from a 10-city survey in China. Regression methods were used to examine the impact of child loss on parental health, and Sobel test was applied to examine the mediating role of social integration. Results: Bereaved parents who lost their only child have worse self-rated health and more negative affect than the non-bereaved parents, which lasted for years after the death of the only child. The Sobel test shows that 24.8% of the total effects on self-rated health and 6.7% of the total effects on negative affect can be explained via decreased social integration. The gender of parents and child as well as fertility intentions are important sources of heterogeneity in the Chinese culture. Limitation: The results based on cross-sectional data may only reveal correlation rather than causality. The data was retrieved from self-reported questionnaires and there is a lack of objective measures of parental health. Moreover, the detailed mechanisms behind how child loss resulted in less social integration should be further explored. Conclusions: Significant disparities in health outcomes and social integration were found for bereaved parents relative to the non-bereaved parents. Future work is needed to assess the health of bereaved parents, identify the vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, and design inclusive intervention programs.

The China's Input-Output tables for 2007 and 2012 which were published by the China National Bureau of Statistics are competitive current price input-output tables. Based on these tables, this paper constructs the China's non-competitive constant price input-output data for 2007 and 2012. This dataset is supplementary to Ref. [1]. And we share the raw data about China's IO tables for 2007 and 2012. Furthermore, the new IO tables data which we constructed will also be uploaded.
