Inter-domain routing systems are important complex networks on the Internet. It has been paralyzed several times in recent years. The researchers pay close attention to the damage strategy of inter-domain routing systems and think it is related to the attacker's behavior. The key to the damage strategy is knowing how to select the optimal attack node group. In the process of selecting nodes, the existing research seldom considers the attack cost, and there are some problems, such as an unreasonable definition of attack cost and an unclear optimization effect. To solve the above problems, we designed an algorithm to generate damage strategies for inter-domain routing systems based on multi-objective optimization (PMT). We transformed the damage strategy problem into a double-objective optimization problem and defined the attack cost related to the degree of nonlinearity. In PMT, we proposed an initialization strategy based on a network partition and a node replacement strategy based on partition search. Compared with the existing five algorithms, the experimental results proved the effectiveness and accuracy of PMT.

Since the probe coupling for cavity filters is unsuitable for ceramic-filled cavity filters, a novel capacitive cross-coupling structure is proposed to improve stopband suppression by introducing transmission zeros. This structure is implemented by first etching a coupling window on the silver-plated layer on the ceramic surface between two resonant cavities and then placing an isolated metal strip in the window. This structure enjoys high design freedom. Thus, the coupling coefficient between the two cavities is readily adjusted. Moreover, the structure has the advantages of a compact size and simple fabrication and tuning processes. For validation, a ten-pole ceramic-filled cavity filter for 5G applications is designed and evaluated. The proposed cross-coupling technology is used to introduce a pair of symmetrical transmission zeros at the band skirts to increase the frequency selectivity. The measured results are consistent with the simulated ones.

Our purpose in this paper is to present a better method of parametric estimation for a bivariate nonlinear regression model, which takes the performance indicator of rubber aging as the dependent variable and time and temperature as the independent variables. We point out that the commonly used two-step method (TSM), which splits the model and estimate parameters separately, has limitation. Instead, we apply the Marquardt’s method (MM) to implement parametric estimation directly for the model and compare these two methods of parametric estimation by random simulation. Our results show that MM has better effect of data fitting, more reasonable parametric estimates, and smaller prediction error compared with TSM.

Abstract 5G base stations (BSs) are potential flexible resources for power systems due to their dynamic adjustable power consumption. However, the ever‐increasing energy consumption of 5G BSs places great pressure on electricity costs, and existing energy‐saving measures do not fully utilise BS wireless resources in accordance with dynamic changes in communication load, resulting in flexible resource waste and seriously limiting electricity cost savings for 5G BSs. A multi‐BS cooperation self‐optimising sleep strategy for 5G BSs that consists of an initial user association stage based on multi‐BS cooperation (MBSC) and a self‐optimising variable‐threshold sleep stage (SVTS). First, a heterogeneous cellular network (HCN) model is established. Then, a 5G BS economic optimisation model is constructed, which aims at minimising the electricity cost of the BSs and takes the BS and user equipment (UEs) states in the HCN model as constraints to clarify the optimisation objective and constraints for the proposed strategy. Furthermore, BSs are initially associated with UEs through MBSC, and idle and lightly loaded BSs are then maximally put to sleep through SVTS to reduce power and energy consumption and thereby realise economic optimisation of the BSs. Finally, simulations are conducted to validate the proposed strategy and illustrate the ability of 5G BSs to provide flexible resource regulation for power systems.

Abstract Addressing the significant discrepancy between actual experimental cutting force and its predicted values derived from traditional constitutive model parameter identification methods, a reverse identification research of the Johnson–Cook (J-C) constitutive model for 304 stainless steel was conducted via genetic algorithm. Considering actual cutting zone and the influence of feed motion on the rake (flank) angle, an unequal division shear zone model was established to implement the theoretical calculation for shear zone stress. Through cutting experiments, the spindle speed was negatively correlated with the cutting force at first, and then became positively correlated; The empirical formula (EXP model) for turning force was corrected, revealing that the EXP model was unable to provide optimal predicted values for cutting force. The influence of the J-C constitutive parameter C on the cutting morphology was firstly investigated through simulation analysis, and determined an appropriate value for C, then obtained the precise values for the other four constitutive parameters by genetic algorithm. Moreover, the simulated values of cutting force in JC1 model (obtained from the Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar test) and JCM model (the improved model using genetic algorithm) were obtained by three-dimensional (3-D) simulation via FEM software. The results indicated that, the maximum error between actual experimental cutting force and its simulated values (by JCM model) was 14.8%, with an average error of 6.38%. These results outperformed the JC1 and EXP models, suggesting that the JCM model identified via genetic algorithm was more reliable.

Abstract Background Airway pressure release ventilation (APRV) has become increasingly popular for the management of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS); however, its clinical impact remains a topic of debate. Furthermore, there is a gap between the guidelines and the actual clinical practices in mechanical ventilation management for ARDS. This survey aimed to explore the utilization of APRV and mechanical ventilation strategies for ARDS in Chinese intensive care unit (ICU) clinicians. Methods A comprehensive 34‐item survey was distributed online platforms amongst ICU clinicians across mainland China from June to August 2019. Results A total of 420 valid responses were collected, with 57.4% (241) originating from academic hospitals and 42.6% (179) from non‐academic hospitals. Of the respondents, 98.6% (414) recognized the significance of low tidal volume ventilation for ARDS prognosis, 85.2% adhered to a tidal volume below 8 mL/kg predicted body weight, and most (46.4%) selected the initial positive end‐expiratory pressure within the range of 5–10 cmH2O based on experience. Among the respondents, 62.1% (261) reported familiarity with APRV and 41.9% (176) had implemented APRV. Of those who had utilized APRV, 93.2% (164) believed in its effectiveness for ARDS patients and 69.3% (122) advocated for early application of APRV. Substantial variations were noted regarding APRV initiation settings and the preservation of spontaneous breathing during APRV. Academic hospitals exhibited higher usage rates of lung recruitment, neuromuscular blockade, prone ventilation, and acquaintance with and utilization of APRV compared to non‐academic hospitals (all p values ≤ 0.001). Conclusions Our findings highlight opportunities for improvement in mechanical ventilation management for ARDS, particularly in non‐academic hospitals. Additionally, a significant proportion of clinicians demonstrated limited knowledge of APRV, and there was a lack of consensus on its application. Further training and larger‐scale clinical trials are required to validate the efficacy and utilization of APRV in managing ARDS.

Objective: The CABANA study shows that atrial fibrillation (AF) paitents younger than 65 years benefit more from the AF radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) procedure. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of inherent patent foramen ovale (PFO) with a Left-to-Right Shunt on the RFCA procedure in young AF patients. Methods: Based on the presence or absence of inherent PFO, the AF patients were divided into the PFO groups and the non-PFO group. Clinical follow-up was also investigated. Results: A total of 285 AF patients were enrolled. PFO was detected by TEE in 42 patients. This retrospective multicenter study was conducted across 83 intensive care units (ICUs) in 16 cities in Sichuan, China. Critically ill patients diagnosed with heatstroke and lung infections were included in the study. Specimens from the lower respiratory tract were collected for microbiological testing, and the characteristics of the pathogens were described. A total of 462 patients diagnosed with heatstroke-related pulmonary infections were included, 134 patients (29.0%) tested positive for respiratory pathogens. The most frequently isolated strain was Klebsiella pneumoniae (34.3%), followed by Escherichia coli (28.4%), Staphylococcus aureus (20.9%). The results revealed that in the hyperthermic resistance group, there was a higher proportion of Pseudomonas aeruginosa [14(34.1%) vs 11(11.8%), p=0.002] and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia [4(9.8%) vs 1(1.1%), p=0.030] compared to the hyperthermic control group. Abstract To investigate the association between serum neurofilament light chain (NfL) levels, inflammatory cytokines, and cognitive function to assess their utility in the early detection of mild cognitive impairment (MCI). We conducted a cross-sectional study involving 157 community-dwelling individuals aged 55 years and above, categorized into healthy controls, MCI, and probable Alzheimer's disease (AD). Serum levels of NfL, inflammatory cytokines, and AD pathology markers were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Correlations between these biomarkers and cognitive function were analyzed, and the diagnostic performance of the cognitive assessment scales and serum biomarker concentrations was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Serum NfL levels were significantly elevated in MCI and probable AD groups compared to healthy controls. Positive correlations were found between serum NfL and inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, and Aβ40. Combining serum NfL with p-tau217 and the Boston Naming Test significantly enhanced the predictive accuracy for MCI. However, combining serum NfL with inflammatory markers did not improve MCI prediction accuracy. Elevated serum NfL is associated with cognitive impairment and inflammatory markers, suggesting its potential as a peripheral serum biomarker for MCI detection. The combination of serum NfL with p-tau217 and cognitive tests could offer a more accurate prediction of MCI, providing new insights for AD treatment strategies.

Abstract Multidrug-resistant (MDR) Acinetobacter baumannii (A. baumannii) is a formidable pathogen responsible for severe intracranial infections post-craniotomy, exhibiting a mortality rate as high as 71%. Tigecycline (TGC), a broad-spectrum antibiotic, emerged as a potential therapeutic agent for MDR A. baumannii infections. Nonetheless, its clinical application was hindered by a short in vivo half-life and limited permeability through the blood–brain barrier (BBB). In this study, we prepared a novel core–shell nanoparticle encapsulating water-soluble tigecycline using a blend of mPEG-PLGA and PLGA materials. This nanoparticle, modified with a dual-targeting peptide Aβ11 and Tween 80 (Aβ11/T80@CSs), was specifically designed to enhance the delivery of tigecycline to the brain for treating A. baumannii-induced intracranial infections. Our findings demonstrated that Aβ11/T80@CSs nanocarriers successfully traversed the BBB and effectively delivered TGC into the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), leading to a significant therapeutic response in a model of MDR A. baumannii intracranial infection. This study offers initial evidence and a platform for the application of brain-targeted nanocarrier delivery systems, showcasing their potential in administering water-soluble anti-infection drugs for intracranial infection treatments, and suggesting promising avenues for clinical translation. Abstract Hydrogen sulfide for wound healing has drawn a lot of attention recently. In this research, the S‐propargyl‐cysteine (SPRC), an endogenous H2S donor, was loaded on carbomer hydrogel, and a copper sheet rat burn model was developed. Pathological changes in rat skin tissue were examined using hematoxylin–eosin (HE) and Masson staining. The immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining was performed to detect the expression of Collagen I (Col I) and Collagen III (Col III). The mRNA levels of interleukin (IL)‐6, Col Iα2, Col IIIα1, tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinase (TIMP)‐1, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)‐9, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and transforming growth factor (TGF)‐β1 were examined by quantitative real‐time chain polymerase reaction. The findings demonstrated that the collagen layer was thicker in the SPRC group during the proliferative phase, SPRC hydrogel promoted VEGF expression. In the late stage of wound healing, the expression of IL‐6, TIMP‐1, MMP‐9, and TGF‐β1 was inhibited, and the Col I content was closer to that of normal tissue. These results surface that SPRC hydrogel can promote wound healing and play a positive role in reducing scar formation. Our results imply that SPRC can facilitate wound healing and play a positive role in reducing scar formation.

The explosive growth of mobile data traffic has resulted in a significant increase in the energy consumption of 5G base stations (BSs). However, the existing energy conservation technologies, such as traditional BS sleep strategy, rarely consider the dynamic real-time changes of users (UEs), which may make it difficult to maximize sleep idle or lightly loaded BSs, thereby affecting the reduction of BS energy consumption. Therefore, an energy consumption optimization strategy of 5G BSs considering variable threshold sleep mechanism (ECOS-BS) is proposed in this paper. Compared to current strategies, the ECOS-BS strategy can dynamically adjust BSs’ optimal sleep threshold on the premise of considering UEs’ dynamic changes, which is conducive to maximize sleep available BSs and realize the optimal management of BS energy consumption. Taking a heterogeneous cellular network as an example, numerical simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

Ni–Al–Cr alloys in the β phase (B2–NiAl) region exhibit remarkable stability and mechanical property. Through thermal explosion (TE) reaction, Ni–Al–Cr intermetallic compounds with high porosity can be obtained. In this study, the focus lies on analyzing the macroscopic morphology, microstructure, phase distribution, TE behaviour, and the mechanical property of porous Ni–Al–Cr in the β phase region. Following the TE reaction, the Al-rich sintered product demonstrates a uniform phase composition and high porosity, reaching 44.39%. The vigorous TE reaction promotes the formation of interconnected pores, while the high porosity structure compromises the mechanical properties of the sample. Conversely, the Al-poor sintered product, due to a moderate TE reaction and low porosity structure, maintains its complete morphology and exhibits excellent compression resistance (yield stress reaching 538 MPa). This study offers valuable insights for the fabrication of porous Ni–Al–Cr materials with exceptional structure and performance.

Porous TiAl3 materials were prepared by a time- and energy-saving thermal explosion (TE) method with Ti-75 at% Al mixture powders. Cyclic oxidation tests were performed in air at 650 °C, 800 °C, and 900 °C. Only a weak peak of the oxide phase was detected by X-ray diffraction when the oxidation temperature was below 800 °C. The pore structures remained stable without pore blockage or collapse due to the thin protective oxide layer formed on the surface of the product skeleton at 650 °C, which was confirmed to be Al2O3. The thickness of the oxide scale increased with increasing the oxidation temperature from 800 °C to 900 °C. The compressive strength of the oxidized sample was inversely proportional to its corresponding porosity. Additionally, the antioxidant mechanism at high temperature was further investigated, indicating excellent oxidation resistance. Therefore, porous TiAl3 intermetallic can be considered as promising materials for applications such as filtration, separation, and catalysis at a high temperatures up to 800 °C.

Abstract Background The treatment and management of patients suffering from hypophosphatemic rickets (HR) remain a major challenge for dental practitioners and affected patients. Objectives To report a case of HR presenting with specific dental findings and to review the dental manifestations and treatment of HR patients. Methods Case: A 32-year-old male presented with multiple dental abscesses and short stature. A thorough history was taken followed by clinical oral examination, and relevant radiological investigation was done. Literature research: In 2020, electronic literature searches were carried out in PubMed and complemented by a careful assessment of the reference lists of the identified relevant papers. Articles and reports fulfilled the inclusion criteria: indexed reviews, case series and case reports in English and restricted to human studies were considered. Results The intraoral examination revealed multiple dental abscesses and general periodontal disease; the radiographic examination showed poorly defined lamina dura, large pulp chambers and periapical lesions. Based on the contents of the 43 articles identified in the search, the current knowledge of dental manifestations, treatment and management of HR was summarized. Conclusions As HR is a multisystem disease, multidisciplinary care is needed. By summarizing current evidences, we proposed an evidence-based dental management and provided recommendations on diagnosis and treatment of the disease. It is of profound clinical significance to acquire knowledge of the dental manifestations and provide optimal treatment options for patients.

In an attempt to characterize the non-linear augmentation of stress as a function of strain during the compression molding process of the straw-potato residue mixture, and to analyze the impact of elasto-visco-plastic deformation on energy consumption and product quality, the present study has established an elasto-visco-plastic constitutive model for the straw-potato residue mixture based on stress-strain test data. The model parameters were obtained through curve fitting, including the elastic modulus E, viscous coefficient K, viscous index n, friction stress σf, and plastic coefficient R1/m. The effects of test factors such as moisture content, feeding amount, compression temperature, and compression speed on these model parameters were analyzed to decipher the elasto-visco-plastic deformation process of the mixture. Additionally, specific energy consumption (SEC) and relaxation ratio (Rr) were employed as test indicators and were subjected to correlation analysis with the model parameters, culminating in the establishment of a multivariate regression equation. The results indicate that the correlation between SEC and the model parameters is quite significant under different test conditions, while Rr is significantly correlated with n, σf, and R1/m only under different moisture contents. This suggests that the energy consumption in the molding of the straw-potato residue mixture is primarily due to overcoming the resistance of elasto-visco-plastic deformation and friction, while the quality of the molding is mainly influenced by the moisture content, thereby establishing a connection with the elasto-visco-plastic parameters. The multivariate regression equation ultimately derived can be used to discern the degree of influence of elastic deformation, viscous deformation and plastic deformation on the specific energy consumption during the compression of the straw-potato residue mixture.

Objective: The contents of main active ingredients, antioxidant and cholate binding ability of different ethanol extracts from Psoralea corylifolia L. were explored based on the mode of correlation of “components-efficacy”. Methods: Psoralea corylifolia L. was extracted with anhydrous ethanol, 75% ethanol, 50% ethanol and water. The contents of total flavonoids and total polyphenols in Psoralea corylifolia L. were determined. The antioxidant and lipid-lowering activities in vitro of Psoralea corylifolia L. were evaluated by three antioxidant systems and the binding ability of cholate salts, respectively, and the correlation analysis was conducted. Results: The contents of total flavonoids and total polyphenols in anhydrous ethanol extract were the highest, (50.317±0.018) mg/g and (3.860±0.045) mg/g, respectively. The 50% ethanol extract showed the best ability to scavenge ABTS＋· and DPPH·, the IC50 values were 0.76 and 1.63 mg/mL, respectively. The anhydrous ethanol extract showed the strongest reducing ability, the A0.5 value was 2.63 mg/mL. The water extract showed the strongest binding capacity to sodium cholate, the IC50 value was 0.67 mg/mL. The 50% ethanol extract showed the strongest binding capacity to sodium taurocholate and sodium glycinate, the IC50 values were 1.26 and 0.41 mg/mL, respectively. To optimize the ultrasound-assisted three-phase partitioning for the simultaneous extraction of allicin and polysaccharides from garlic. The effect of polyethylene glycol (PEG) concentration, ammonium sulfate concentration, sonication temperature, and sonication time on the extraction efficiency of allicin and polysaccharides were investigated, respectively. The simultaneous extraction process conditions of allicin and polysaccharides were optimized according to the Box-Behnken experimental design. Results showed that the optimal conditions were PEG concentration of 24%, the ultrasonic temperature of 34 °C, and ultrasonic time of 50 min. Under these conditions, the extraction efficiency of allicin and polysaccharide was calculated according to the anhydrous calculation, reaching 3.564 and 43.86 mg/g, respectively. The optimized extraction process could effectively and simultaneously extract allicin and polysaccharides from garlic, which would provide a foundation for the deep research, development, and application of functional products from natural garlic.
