Aimed at the problem of degradation assessment of shore bridge hoisting gearbox, an online evaluation method of degradation state based on improved symbol sequence entropy (O_ISSE) and logistic regression is proposed. First, a threshold factor is introduced to retain the “coarse-grained” information of the signal change direction and amplitude, reduce the “sensitivity” of original algorithm to the impact component, and propose an improved symbol sequence entropy (ISSE).Then, the sliding window Weibull fitting method is used to effectively filter out the influence of fluctuations in the ISSE characteristic sequence to form O_ISSE. Finally, a logistic regression model is trained and established, and the H value of health factor of the unknown sample are calculated to realize its status recognition online.The example analysis of the life data of the hoisting gearbox of a dock in Shanghai is conducted. The results show that the ISSE and logistic regression model can describe the complexity of signal, track and identify performance degradation status accurately.

Background Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a devastating disease characterized by remodeling of lung architecture and abnormal deposition of fibroblasts in parenchymal tissue and ultimately results in respiratory failure and death. Preclinical studies suggest that mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) administration may be a safe and promising option in treating PF. The objective of our meta-analysis is to assess the efficacy of MSC therapy in preclinical models of PF. Methods We performed a comprehensive literature search in PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases from inception to March 17, 2021. Studies that assessed the efficacy of MSC therapy to animals with PF were included. The SYRCLE bias risk tool was employed to evaluate the bias of included studies. The primary outcomes included survival rate and pulmonary fibrosis scores. Meta-analysis was conducted via Cochrane Collaboration Review Manager (version 5.4) and Stata 14.0 statistical software. Results A total of 1120 articles were reviewed, of which 24 articles met inclusion criteria. Of these, 12 studies evaluated the survival rate and 20 studies evaluated pulmonary fibrosis scores. Compared to the control group, MSC therapy was associated with an improvement in survival rate (odds ratios (OR) 3.10, 95% confidence interval (CI) 2.06 to 4.67, P < 0.001, I2 = 0%) and a significant reduction in pulmonary fibrosis scores (weighted mean difference (WMD) 2.05, 95% CI −2.58 to −1.51, P < 0.001, I2 = 90%). Conclusions MSC therapy is a safe and effective method that can significantly improve the survival and pulmonary fibrosis of PF animals. These results provide an important basis for future translational clinical studies.

Pincer complexes are widely used in organometallic and coordination chemistry. The role of antimony as a central donor atom in pincer ligands has been extensively explored in recent years. Although phenylenediamine derived PXP (X = B, Al, C, Si, Ge, Sn, N) type ligands exhibit diverse reactivity, analogues species based on antimony have been reported less frequently. Herein, we report a new PSbP complex and evaluate its reactivity. These species will broaden the family of phenylenediamine derived pincer complexes.

International audience; A synthesized redox-active multidentate N-P ligand reacted with UCl4 in the presence of KHMDS or (BuLi)-Bu-n, where two novel U(iv) complexes with or without P-P coupling were formed, respectively. The reversible P-P coupling in these complexes was observed in redox-induced reactions.

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic relapsed intestinal disease with an increasing incidence around the world. The pathophysiology of UC remains unclear. However, the role of the interaction between the enteric nervous system and the immune system in the pathogenesis of UC has been the focus of attention and has become a research hotspot. Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a kind of endogenous neuropeptide with regulatory activity on intestinal immunity. It has been shown to regulate immune disorders in animal and human experiments and has become an effective anti-inflammatory and immune modulator that affects the innate immune system and adaptive immune system. Regulatory B cells (Bregs) are a new group of B cells that negatively regulate the immunity and have received extensive attention in immune circles. Bregs can regulate immune tolerance by producing interleukin (IL)-10, IL-35, and transforming growth factor-β, suppressing autoimmune diseases or excessive inflammatory responses. The secretion of IL-10 by Bregs induces the development of T helper (Th) 0 and Th2 cells. It also induces Th2 cytokines and inhibits Th1 cytokines, thereby inhibiting Th1 cells and the Th1/Th2 balance. With further clarity on the mechanism of the regulation of IL-10 expression by VIP in Bregs in colitis patients, we believe that Bregs can provide a novel strategy for the clinical treatment of UC. Thus, we aim to review the current literature on this evolving topic.

Proximity ligation assay (PLA) is a vigorously developed homogeneous immunoassay assisted by DNA combining dual recognition of target protein by pairs of proximity probes, in which the detection of protein is tactfully converted to the detection of DNA. The booming developments in PLA have enabled a variety of ultrasensitive assays for the detection of protein and this concept of PLA is also extended to the detection of nucleic acids and some small molecule. The association between PLA and electrochemical method, defined as electrochemical proximity ligation assay (ECPLA), has gained much interests in disease diagnosis, food safety and environmental assays with the advantages, such as broad range of targets, simplicity, low cost and rapid response. In this review, we took a different perspective to present the history of PLA, the classical ECPLA biosensing methodology as well as the developments of ECPLA based on several key parameters, such as sensitivity, selectivity, reusability and generalization. In addition, the developments of PLA with electrochemiluminescence as readout are also presented. Finally, perspective and some unresolved challenges in ECPLA that can potentially be addressed have also been discussed.

Itaconate is produced by an enzyme encoded by the immune-responsive gene 1 (IRG1) and exerts antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects via multiple mechanisms. However, the role of IRG1/itaconate in liver injury caused by Concanavalin A (Con A) is not fully understood. In this study, we explored the therapeutic effect of IRG1/four-octyl itaconate (4-OI), a derivative of itaconate, on liver injury caused by Con A and its possible underlying mechanisms. In vivo experiments, we found that Con A promoted IRG1 expression in the liver tissue. Deletion of IRG1 in mice aggravated Con A-induced liver injury. Compared to wild-type (WT) mice, the inflammatory response, hepatocyte apoptosis, and serum cytokine levels were significantly increased, while the antioxidant capacity was significantly attenuated in IRG1

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic nonspecific inflammation that mainly affects the mucosa and submucosa of the rectum and colon. Numerous studies have shown that endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS)-induced autophagy plays a vital role in the pathogenesis of UC. ERS is the imbalance of internal balance caused by misfolded or unfolded proteins accumulated in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).Excessive ERS triggers the unfolded protein response (UPR), an increase in inositol-requiring enzyme 1, and a Ca2+ overload, which activates the autophagy pathway. Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved method of cellular self-degradation. Dysregulated autophagy causes inflammation, disruption of the intestinal barrier, and imbalance of intestinal homeostasis, therefore increasing the risk of colonic diseases. This review summarizes the pathogenesis of ERS, UPR, and ERS-related autophagy in UC, providing potential new targets and more effective treatment options for UC.

This study aimed to validate the clinical utility of American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) 8th edition staging system for anal squamous cell cancer (ASCC). Further, Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database (2004–2015) was used to validate the practicability of 8th AJCC stages. Disease-specific survival (DSS) and overall survival (OS) were evaluated using Kaplan-Meier analysis. Hazard ratios (HRs) were calculated using Cox regression analysis. Furthermore, the modification was validated using Kaplan-Meier analysis and calculating the concordance index (C-index). A total of 11891 patients with ASCC were analysed. the 5-year DSSs for stage I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, IIIC, and IV were 93.8%, 87.4%, 76.2%, 76.9%, 72.0%, 66.1%, and 34.9%. We found the OS and DSS of IIIA patients showed better than IIB. After hazard analysis, modified IIIA patients showed worse OS and DSS than IIB. C-indexes were increased from 0.612 to 0.636 for DSS and from 0.566 to 0.582 for OS of stage II and III ASCCs. In conclusion, our study validated 8th AJCC staging system as overall suitable classification with a few defects. Thus, we suggested modifications in II and III stages to make it more suitable for ASCCs that could be adopted in clinical practice.

Generally, the hydrodynamics of a fish cage are investigated using numerical simulation, physical model experiments, and field measurements. However, these traditional research methods are time consuming and low in efficiency. In this study, an artificial neural network (ANN) model is built such that the hydrodynamic characteristics of a fish cage in waves can be predicted rapidly. The training data of the ANN model are generated by a well-developed numerical model from our previous studies. The parameters in the hidden layer of the ANN model are determined considering the prediction accuracy of the hydrodynamic results of the fish cage. The ANN model is validated against a well-developed numerical model with satisfactory accuracy. Using the proposed ANN model, the hydrodynamic results of the fish cage including the maximum tension in mooring lines, minimum effective-volume ratio, and maximum stress of the floating collar are predicted for various waves. Overall, the predicted results indicate a trend consistent with that of the previous studies. The present model can potentially forecast disasters for an oncoming typhoon, which is important for the hazard prevention of a fish farm.

A set of complexes containing dative interactions between a rare-earth metal and carbon are reported. Complex 2, Br3Ce(CDP)(THF), with a Ce←C bond was synthesized by the reaction of CeBr3 with a carbon(0) ligand, carbodiphosphorane (CDP). More significantly, a trivalent cerium complex 3, [BrCe(CDP)2](BPh4)2, with two σ dative interactions C→Ce←C was also isolated, which represents an unusual example of two dative interactions formed with the same atom in a molecule. Furthermore, π donation by the second lone-pair electrons of the CDP ligand is rather weak. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the Ce-C bond lengths in these complexes are comparable with those in cerium(iii)-carbene species. Density functional theory calculations support the dative interaction formation in these complexes and the strength of σ-donation in 3 is stronger than that in 2.

Purpose: Studies on early recurrence in gastrointestinal neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) and mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma (MANEC) are lacking and risk factors related to early recurrence are not clear. We evaluated risk factors for early recurrence in such patients and developed a predictive scoring model.Methods: Patients undergoing curative surgery for GI-NEC or MANEC between January 2010 and January 2019 were included. Early recurrence was defined as recurrence within 12 months after surgery. Risk factors for early recurrence were identified using logistic regression.Results: Of the 80 included patients, 27 developed early recurrence and 53 had no early recurrence. Independent risk factors associated with early recurrence included tumor location in the midgut/hindgut [odds ratio (OR) = 5.077, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.058–24.352, p = 0.042], alkaline phosphatase (ALP) >80 (OR = 5.331, 95% CI 1.557–18.258, p = 0.008), and lymph node ratio (LNR) >0.25 (OR = 6.578, 95% CI 1.971–21.951, p = 0.002). Risk scores were assigned to tumor location (foregut, 0; midgut/hindgut, 1), ALP (≤80, 0; >80, 1), and LNR (≤0.25, 0; >0.25, 1). Patients with a high risk (score 2–3) for early recurrence had significantly shorter disease-free survival and overall survival than those with low- (score 0) and intermediate risks (score 1) (both p < 0.001). The novel scoring model had superior predictive efficiency for early recurrence over TNM staging (area under the curve 0.795 vs. 0.614, p = 0.003).Conclusion: Tumor location, preoperative ALP, and LNR were independent factors associated with early recurrence after curative surgery for GI-NEC or MANEC. The risk scoring model developed based on these three factors shows superior predictive efficiency.

The demand for higher precision measurements in Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) continues to grow, which drives the technical development of next generation international VLBI stations called the VLBI Global Observing System (VGOS). Up to now, there are several VGOS stations in the world. China also has built China’s VGOS station in Shanghai. The TM VGOS telescope is a new station with a diameter of 13.2 meters and a ring-focus sub-reflector, which works in the 3-14 Ghz range with dual-linear polarization to provide VGOS capability. In this paper we present the estimated performance, focusing on the achievable system equivalent flux density (SEFD) which is an important indicator of the antenna receiving system. In addition the measurement results and method of SEFD of the antenna system are introduced.

The demand for higher precision measurements in Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) continues to grow, which drives the technical development of next-generation international VLBI stations called the VLBI Global Observing System (VGOS). We have measured the noise temperature of the wideband receiving system for Shanghai VGOS telescopes by generally the Y-factor method, which is to place the hot load in front of the feed then to let the system point to the cold sky. Shanghai VGOS telescopes, with a diameter of 13.2 m, works in the 3–18 GHz range with dual-linear polarization and is based on the ring focus reflector principle. Removing signal interference points, in the whole broadband range, the noise temperature of the receiver system is lower than 40 k.

BACKGROUND Acute liver injury (ALI) caused by sepsis is a fearful disease with high mortality and poor prognosis. This study aimed to explore the roles and mechanism of MaR1 in lipopolysaccharide/d-galactosamine (LPS/D-GalN)-induced ALI. METHODS We established an ALI mouse model induced by LPS/D-GalN. Each group was treated with or without LPS/D-GalN or MaR1. For the vitro experiments, RAW264.7, NCTC1469 cells, and bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) were stimulated with LPS. The effects of MaR1 on the reactive oxygen species (ROS), pyroptosis and inflammatory response in macrophages were investigated. RESULTS MaR1 significantly inhibited an excessive inflammatory response and proinflammatory markers during LPS/D-GalN-induced ALI. MaR1 markedly decreased the levels of ROS, tumor necrosis factor-α, and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in macrophages, and limited hepatocyte apoptosis in vitro. Upon exploring the mechanisms underlying the protective role of MaR1, we found MaR1 markedly upregulated the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), and considerably reduced the phosphorylation of p38, ERK, and nuclear factor-kappa B-p65. Knocking down Nrf2 decreased the effect of MaR1. Furthermore, we observed that MaR1 reduced inflammatory injury by inhibiting M1 macrophages and promoting M2 macrophage polarization. Finally, we observed that MaR1 could inhibit the production of gasdermin D N-terminus (GSDMD-N) in vivo. In vitro, MaR1 could significantly suppressed the expression of NLR family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome, GSDMD-N, and IL-1β caused by LPS and nigericin stimulation in BMDMs. CONCLUSION MaR1 could ameliorate inflammation during LPS/D-GalN induced ALI by suppressing mitogen-activated protein kinase /NF-κB signaling and NLRP3 inflammasome-induced pyroptosis, activating macrophage M1/M2 polarization and Nrf2/HO-1 signaling. This provides new evidence for the potential of developing MaR1 for ALI treatment.

Dative bonds between p- and d-block atoms are common but species containing a double dative bond, which donate two-electron pairs to the same acceptor, are far less common. The synthesis of complexes between UCl4 and carbodiphosphoranes (CDP), which formally possess double dative bonds Cl4U⇇CDP, is reported in this paper. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the uranium−carbon distances are in the range of bond lengths for uranium−carbon double bonds. A bonding analysis suggests that the molecules are uranium−carbone complexes featuring divalent carbon(0) ligands rather than uranium−carbene species. The complexes represent rare examples with a double dative bond in f-block chemistry. Our study not only introduces the concept of double dative bonds between carbones and f-block elements but also opens an avenue for the construction of other complexes with double dative bonds, thus providing new opportunities for the applications of f-block compounds., While chemical bonding between carbon and the d- and p-block elements is relatively well-studied, that between carbon and the f-block elements remains comparatively poorly understood. Here, the authors synthesize a series of uranium−carbone complexes in which carbon forms an unprecedented double dative bond to uranium.

Some examples are given to show that the conditions are best, and the result removes the condition “m is an even integer” in the result due to Sun [Kragujevac Journal of Math 38(2), 173-282, 2014].

Tunable optical and fluorescent properties of graphene quantum dots (GQDs) by heteroatom doping and surface functionalization provide tremendous advantages for practical applications. One of these notable issues is the construction of stimuli-responsive GQDs which can be used as smart green nonmetal materials in the field of sensor and biotechnology. In this work, N-doped graphene quantum dots (NGQDs) encapsulated by organic species were obtained through hydrothermal method, of which the quantum yield achieved 22.9%, much higher than that of bare NGQDs (1%). Interestingly, it was found that the functionalized NGQDs exhibited a color oscillation in open air and its fluorescence emission can be reversibly switched “on–off” via redox reactions. Meanwhile, the PL emission would be transformed from excitation-independent to excitation-dependent through modifying the surface states of NGQDs. Fabrication of ultra-small N-doped titanium suboxides (ca. 10 nm) with abundant surface bonds is realized via a hydrothermal-calcination route. The design concept takes advantage of the “double-faced” roles of surface and bulk defects in engineering the band gap and charge carrier transfer–separation rate. During the preparation process, ascorbic acid functioned as an electron-donating bidentate ligand and reducing agent, and promoted the formation of ultra-small nanocrystalline structure with specific Ti–O–C surface bonds. Urea was utilized as a facet stabilizer and nitrogen source, introducing interstitial nitrogen defects. Comprehensive characterization of the physiochemical properties clearly showed that abundant Ti–O–C bonds, proper nitrogen doping and well-defined bulk crystalline structure contribute to band gap narrowing and fast carrier separation rate. The defective titanium suboxide with optimal crystal and electronic structure exhibited much higher activity for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution compared to commercial P25 and anatase products under identical conditions. It is also noteworthy that the obtained products could still yield photocatalytic activity for H2 evolution without using any noble metal co-catalyst.

Trying to achieve the best surface accuracy control with the fewest actuators, this article mainly studies the distribution of actuators and the method of panel design. The influence of the number of faulty actuators on the accuracy of the surface shape is demonstrated. In addition, the method incorporating a triangular panel, node index and the fitting solution method of a single panel is also given. This method provides a reference for the design and realization of an active surface or a deformable sub-reflector for high performance large aperture radio telescopes.

Rare-earth metal cations have been used rarely as Lewis-acidic components in the chemistry of frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs). Herein, we report the first cerium/phosphorus system (2) employing a heptadentate N4 P3 ligand, which exhibits triple FLP-type reactivity towards a series of organic substrates, including isocyanates, isothiocyanates, diazomethane, and azides on a single rare-earth Lewis acidic Ce center. This result shows that the Ce center and three P atoms in 2 could simultaneously activate three equivalents of small molecules under mild conditions. This study broadens the diversity of FLPs and demonstrates that rare earth based FLP exhibit unique properties compared with other FLP systems.

Frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) represent a new paradigm of main-group chemistry. The Lewis acidic centers in FLP chemistry are typically B and Al atoms in the studies reported over the past decade, and most of them are tri-coordinated with strong electron-withdrawing groups. Herein, a Ga/P system is reported which contains an unprecedented four-coordinated Lewis acidic Ga center. This Ga/P species performs classical addition reactions toward heterocumulenes, alkyne, diazomethane, and transition metal complex. Regioselective formation of the products can be rationalized by DFT calculations. The penta-coordinated gallium atom center in these products is rare in the FLP chemistry. This study enriches the diversity of FLPs and demonstrates that a four-coordinated Lewis acidic site with a donor-acceptor bond can also be FLP active.

The Shanghai VGOS station is located in the courtyard of existing 65m radio telescope, which is 13.2 m diameter, dual-reflector systems with a ring-focus sub-reflector. It is instrumented with a broadband feed systems, which works in the 3-18Ghz range with dual-linear polarization to provide VGOS capability. The Chinese VLBI Data Acquisition System (CDAS) was designed to digitize wideband signals from receivers of radio telescopes, pack the digital samples into VDIF frames, and transmit them through 16G Ethernet interface. In this paper we present the estimated performance, focusing on the achievable system equivalent flux density (SEFD). Analysis based on measured feed data shows that SEFD of 2000 Jy can beachieved for the system.

The surface accuracy of a large parabolic antenna is an important indicator to evaluate the quality of the antenna. It not only directly affects the antenna’s aperture efficiency, thereby determining the shortest wavelength that the antenna can work, but also affects the main lobe width and side lobe structure of the antenna pattern. Microwave holography is an important method for parabolic antenna profile detection. In this article we adopt a new algorithm to adjust the panels for the large radio telescope with an active main reflector through the TM65 m antenna’s aperture phase profile. The panels of the TM65 m radio telescope is in a radial pattern with 14 rings. Each corner of the panel is fixed on the screw of the actuator to move up and down, and the adjacent corners of the four panels share an actuator. We use the method of plane fitting to calculate the adjustment value of every panel’s corner. But one actuator, which simultaneously controls the common corner of the adjacent panels, will have different adjustment values according to the different plane fitting equation based on adjacent panels. In this paper, the adjustment value of the adjacent panels’crosspoints are constrained to be equal to the constraint condition to calculate each actuator’s adjustment value of the TM65 m radio telescope. Through multiple adjustments and application of the new algorithms, the accuracy of the TM65 m antenna reflector profile has been improved from the original 0.28 mm to the current 0.19 mm.

Offshore net cages are aquaculture facilities that can provide satisfactory volumes of stocked fish. The safety of these structures is of great importance to aquaculture companies. Typhoons are considered to be the main cause of damage to offshore net cages. In this study, an artificial neural network (ANN) model was developed to predict the structural failure of high-density polyethylene offshore net cages in typhoon waves. A case study was conducted where the ANN model was used to predict the structural failure of the offshore net cages around Nanji Island, Wenzhou, China, during Typhoon Maria. Field survey was performed to study the hydrodynamics of the offshore net cages in different wave conditions and the results were used as the training data for the ANN model. By classifying the structural failure, the damage levels of offshore net cages can be predicted and used with wave forecasting before typhoon landing. Field survey was carried out immediately after the typhoon. The prediction and field survey results showed that the proposed ANN model can accurately predict the damage levels of offshore net cages under the influence of typhoon waves.

This paper proposes an active sub-reflector suitable for large radio telescopes, which can compensate both of the deformation of the main reflector and sub-reflector position offsets. The mathematical formula of the main reflector deformation compensated by the sub-reflector is deduced based on Cassegrain and Gregory antenna structures. The position of the sub-reflector is adjustable to compensate for defocusing errors on high and low elevations, which are mainly caused by the deformation of the sub-reflector supporting legs. In this paper, the method of obtaining the optimum position of the sub-reflector from the aperture phase by the interferometric method is introduced. The actual measurement is verified on the Tianma 65m radio telescope, which provides a new way to diagnose the position error of the sub-reflector.

As a general, non-destructive, and scalable separation method, DGUC has recently been demonstrated as an efficient way of sorting colloidal nanoparticles according to their differences in chemical, structural, size, or morphology. After the introduction of basic concepts of density gradient ultracentrifugation, for the practical applications, there are various parameters to be considered. Nanoparticles will have different movement ways in different separation systems. In principle, particle movement characteristic in liquid media not only depends on the centrifugal force but also relies on the density, size, and shape of particle and the density and viscosity of the liquid medium and so on, while the gravity and intermolecular force can be ignored. In this chapter, typical parameters such as choice of gradient media, density gradient, rotor type, centrifugation speed, and time will be discussed.

A subreflector system in the parabolic antenna of a 65 m radio telescope has been installed for compensating the gravitational deformation of the supporting frame in the antenna. This paper investigates the influence caused by the displacement of subreflector on the performance of the antenna and the corresponding compensation method. The investigation focuses on Ku-band frequencies and a new fitting formulation which is different from that of low-frequency bands is proposed to reduce the fitting error in the Y direction. In addition, the pointing deviation caused by the offset of the subreflector is analyzed and the model of pointing deflection caused by the displacement of subreflector is established, which can be used to improve the pointing accuracy. The model can determine the position and attitude of the subreflector with elevation and an extensive test shows that it can effectively improve the efficiency of the antenna at each elevation.

A series of novel heterogeneous gold(I) catalysts were synthesized by immobilizing gold(I) complexes on ordered mesoporous polymer FDU-15 and characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption–desorption, FT-IR, TEM, EDS, etc. The catalytic activities of these catalysts were evaluated by the amination reactions of allylic alcohols. Among the catalysts investigated, FDU-(p-CF3Ph)2PAuCl (3d) was identified as the most efficient catalyst. Compared to the homogeneous catalyst, the enhanced catalytic activity of the heterogeneous gold(I) catalyst is closely related to the mesoporous structure of FDU-15. The catalytic system was suitable for a broad range of substrates and can be easily recovered and recycled at least twelve times without significant loss of catalytic activity. In addition, the catalytic performance of 3d was further examined for intramolecular cyclization for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds.

Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) has been widely used in airborne remote sensing and satellite ocean observation fields to reduce the affect of weather condition and sun illumination. As technology developed, swath and resolution requirements are increased in terrain, which arouse a huge increase in the number of simulated points and simulated pulses and lead to a huge increase in simulated time. With the development of graphics processing unit(GPU), it can parallel simulated points to reduce simulated time. As for increased simulated pulses, they can be paralleled on distributed computers. In the article, we focus on parallel on increased simulated pulses and put forward two frameworks based on message passing libraries (MPI) and cloud computing (Hadoop).

Pulsatilla decoction is a famous traditional Chinese herbal formula for clearing heat and treating dysentery of animals or human. To elucidate its mechanism, many active components have been studied, however, the roles of its polysaccharides still remain unclear. This study aimed to explore effects of polysaccharides from Pulsatilla decoction (PPD) on the microvascular endothelial glycocalyx (eGC). The polysaccharides were extracted from PPD by water extraction and alcohol precipitation method. Mice were administered with PPD for 4 wk, and were then anesthetized with ether inhalation and were fixed by cardiac perfusion with gradient concentration alcian blue solution. The jejunum was sampled and jejunal mucosa was prepared for ultrathin sections by routine method and was analyzed by transmission electron microscope. The results indicated that the eGC was observed as a strong electron-dense smooth linear margin or nonuniform conglomerates coating cell membranes, and PPD significantly increased its thickness from (21.85±1.87) to (28.71±3.61) nm and improved its integrity. This study suggested that PPD may express their biological activities and protect against pathogenic factor damages by influencing the eGC.

According to the characteristics of the liver image and the shortcomings of the traditional region growing algorithm, a modified region growing algorithm is proposed based on the adaptive anisotropic filtering. The first, a anisotropic filtering algorithm is proposed based on adaptive anisotropic filtering and we make images noise reduction through it. Second, we studied a method which can select seeds automatically, then the parameters which are in the region growing algorithm will be obtained through Otsu. These innovations and improvements enable segmentation algorithm automatic, fast, accurate. Experiments show that, the algorithm that this article proposed the region growing based on adaptive image segmentation of the liver, the result is better than the traditional region growing algorithm.
