11. Tetrahedral shape of $^{110}$Zr from covariant density functional theory in 3D lattice space

Abstract

Covariant density functional theory is solved in 3D lattice space by implementing the preconditioned conjugate gradient method with a filtering function (PCG-F). It considerably improves the computational efficiency compared to the previous inverse Hamiltonian method (IHM). This new method is then applied to explore the tetrahedral shape of $^{110}$Zr in the full deformation space. The ground state of $^{110}$Zr is found to have a tetrahedral shape, but the deformations $\beta_{31}$ and $\beta_{33}$ greatly soften the potential energy surface. This effect is analysed with the microscopic evolution of the single-particle levels near the Fermi surface driven by the deformation.

Abstract

Abstract Purpose This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of applying real-time dynamic navigation (RDN) in the extraction of deep horizontal mandibular impacted third molars, hypothesizing that RDN reduces surgical time and minimizes the risk of injury to adjacent anatomical structures. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 160 patients aged between 18 and 37 years with deep horizontal impaction of the mandibular third molar. The participants were randomly assigned to either the experimental group (receiving RDN-assisted extractions) or the control group (undergoing traditional extraction methods). Preoperative planning utilized cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and Mimics software for the accurate localization and segmentation of impacted teeth. 14. Ground state properties of a multi-component bosonic mixture: a Gutzwiller mean-field study

Abstract

Using the single-site Gutzwiller method, we theoretically study the ground state and the interspecies entanglement properties of interexchange symmetric multi-component (two- and three-) bosonic mixtures in an optical lattice, and the results are generalized to an $n$-component ($n=2,3,4,\cdots$) system. We compute the mean-field phase diagram, the interspecies entanglement entropy, and the ground state spectral decomposition. Three phases namely the $n$-component Superfluid state (nSF), the $n$-component Mott insulator state (nMI), and the Super-counter-fluid state (SCF) are observed. Interestingly, we find that there are $n-1$ SCF lobes to separate every two neighboring nMI lobes in the phase diagram. More importantly, we derive the exact general expression of the interspecies entanglement entropy for the SCF phase. Abstract

The composition, structure and functional properties of Agaricus blazei polysaccharide were summarized. The extraction techniques of polysaccharides and the features of different extraction methods were enumerated and compared. The problems in the research of A. blazei was discussed， such as unsystematic basic research, immature technological conditions, imperfect equipment and facilities, and low degree of specificity in seeds. In the end，the research direction of A. blazei polysaccharide was prospected.

Antiferroelectric and ferroelectric materials are prominent non-linear dielectric materials with significant applications across various fields. To fully understand their electrical properties, it is crucial to accurately discriminate the two phases, especially in compositions with the coexistence of antiferroelectric and ferroelectric phases. In this study, we propose an easy method for differentiating domain structures from phase coexistence based on split outskirt reflections. 47. Ultrahigh output energy density of explosive-energy-conversion devices assembled from multilayer ferroelectric films.

Abstract

Explosive-energy-conversion materials are increasingly utilized in energy, defense, and mining due to their ultra-rapid response, extra-long storage life, and enormous power density. The energy output capability and temperature stability determine the application potential of these materials. Herein, we report 0.25Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–0.75Pb(Zr0.4Ti0.6)O3 + 0.2 wt% Li2CO3 (PMN–PZT + 2Li) multilayer films developed by cost-effective low-temperature sintering with ultrahigh output energy density and high temperature stability. The multilayer PMN–PZT + 2Li films with a volume of 0.9 cm3 could generate a current of 3156 A, exceeding that of existing ferroelectric ceramics by two orders of magnitude. The output energy density of the multilayer PMN–PZT + 2Li films is up to 3.059 J cm−3, which is the state-of-the-art value achieved so far. The temperature stability of PMN–PZT + 2Li with the energy output could be stable up to 213 °C, higher than those of most of the ferroelectrics. In situ high-pressure synchrotron X-ray diffraction revealed that the ultrahigh output energy was derived from polar rhombohedral phase (R3m) to non-polar phase (R3¯c) shock-induced phase transitions.
