CO2 capture is one of the key technologies for dealing with the global warming and implementing low-carbon development strategy. The emergence of ionic metal-organic frameworks (I-MOFs) has diversified the field of porous materials, which have been extensively applied for gas adsorption and separation. In this work, amino-functionalized imidazolium ionic liquid as organic monodentate ligand was used for one step synthesis microporous Cu based I-MOFs. Precise tuning of the adsorption properties was obtained by incorporating aromatic anions, such as phenoxy, benzene carboxyl, and benzene sulfonic acid group into the I-MOFs via a facile ion exchange method. The new I-MOFs showed high thermal stability and high capacity of 5.4 mmol·g−1 under atmospheric conditions for selective adsorption of CO2. The active sites of microporous Cu-MOF are the ion basic center and unsaturated metal, and electrostatic attraction and hydroxyl bonding between CO2 and modified functional sulfonic groups are responsible for the adsorption. In the evaluation scenario with undesirable outputs, the SBM-Undesirable model is usually used together with the SuperSBM-Undesirable model to fully differentiate efficient and inefficient decision-making units (DMUs). The existing SuperSBM-Undesirable model has two main forms, but both have problems in implementation. One form may be infeasible under the variable returns to scale (VRS); Another form has an inappropriate definition for undesirable output efficiency. These two problems are seriously ignored in the existing applications. In this paper, we first propose an improved SuperSBM-Undesirable model with strongly efficient projections, which is feasible under the constant returns to scale (CRS) or VRS technology. Then, by integrating the SBM-Undesirable and the improved SuperSBM-Undesirable models, we focus on proposing a concise, precise and practical one-stage model considering undesirable outputs to differentiate all DMUs and determine their strongly efficient projections simultaneously. The proposed one-stage model only contains essential decision variables and constraints, thereby effectively conserving computational time for large-scale practical applications. Further, by introducing the weighting preference of inputs and outputs, we construct the one-stage model with weighting preference to differentiate the importance of different indicators. In this review article, we first give a brief introduction for the discovery, the structural characteristics and optical properties of fluorescent proteins, using green fluorescent protein (GFP) as an example. In the body part of article, we summarize recent advances in molecular design, synthesis and processing of bioinspired fluorescent polymers with unique optical properties such as high fluorescence quantum yield and robust photostability. Several major approaches highlighted here include the recombination of organic chromophores and proteins, and synthesis of the bioinspired polymers containing a single fluorophore in each polymer chain. Phototheranostics have emerged as a promising subset of cancer theranostics owing to their potential to provide precise photoinduced diagnoses and therapeutic outcomes. However, the design of phototheranostics remains challenging due to the nature of tumors and their microenvironment, including limitations to the oxygen supply, high rates of recurrence and metastasis, and the immunosuppressive state of cancer cells. Here we report a dual-functional oxygen-independent phototheranostic agent, Ni-2 , rationally designed to provide a near-infrared (NIR) photoactivated thermal- and hydroxyl radical (•OH)-enhanced photoimmunotherapeutic anticancer response. Under 880 nm laser irradiation, Ni-2 exhibited high photostability and excellent photoacoustic and photothermal effects with a photothermal conversion efficacy of 58.0%, as well as novel photoredox features that allowed the catalytic conversion of H 2 O 2 to •OH upon photooxidation of Ni(II) to Ni(III). As a multifunctional photoagent, Ni-2 was found not only to inhibit tumor growth in a CT26 tumor-bearing mouse model but also to activate an immune response via a combination of photothermal- and H 2 O 2 -induced effects. When combined with an antiprogrammed death-ligand 1 (aPD-L1), Ni-2 treatment allowed for the suppression of distant tumor growth and cancer metastasis. Collectively, the present results provide support for the proposition that Ni-2 or its analogues could emerge as useful tools for photoimmunotherapy. They also highlight the potential of appropriately designed 3d transition metal complexes as "all- in-one" phototheranostics.
