Power forecasting plays a crucial role in the operation of smart grid system, which is indispensable for making the operation plan of power system, improving economic efficiency and ensuring the quality of power supply. In order to enhance the accuracy of power load forecasting, a hybrid intelligent power load forecasting system is proposed in this paper. The system first preprocesses the raw data using Savitzky-Golay smoothing technology to eliminate noise and improve data quality. Then, a long and short term memory network with attention mechanism is used to enhance the generalization ability of the model. In addition, in order to further improve the prediction performance, an improved genetic algorithm is integrated to optimize the model parameters. Finally, a data set is used to verify the proposed prediction method. In terms of short-term forecasting ability of experiment of the testing data set, compared with LSTM model, the proposed method shows superior performance in root mean square error and mean absolute error indicators, with root mean square error reduced by 18.7 % and mean absolute error reduced by 26.2 %. In terms of long-term prediction ability of experiment of the testing data set, compared with GBRT model, the proposed method reduces root mean square error and mean absolute error by 24.8 % and 30.7 %, respectively. The experimental results show that compared with the existing benchmark algorithm, the proposed method is significantly improved in two key indexes of prediction accuracy, which proves its effectiveness and superiority in power load prediction.

Microsurgical subinguinal varicocelectomy (MSV) is the gold standard for treating varicoceles. Preservation of the internal spermatic arteries (ISAs) during MSV is important for sperm production. This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of elevating systolic blood pressure (SBP) using MSV. Data from 252 consecutive adult male patients were retrospectively reviewed. The patients were divided into two groups: a traditional group that underwent conventional MSV ( n = 134) and a modified group that underwent MSV with a transiently elevated SBP of 140–160 mm Hg ( n = 118). Arterial identification time, unilateral operative time, number of ISAs, arterial injury rate, and other postoperative indicators, including postoperative complications and sperm parameters, were compared between the groups. All the procedures were successful. The arterial identification and unilateral operative times were significantly shorter in the modified group (31.34 ± 10.44 vs. 42.94 ± 12.39 min and 61.48 ± 8.78 vs. 76.35 ± 12.33 min, p < .01, respectively). Intraoperatively, the number of preserved ISAs was significantly higher in the modified group (1.92 ± 0.53 vs. 1.45 ± 0.32, p < .01). The arterial injury rate did not differ significantly between the groups (2.74% vs. 0%, respectively). Compared with preoperative values, sperm parameters improved significantly 6 months postoperatively. Significant differences in semen parameters or postoperative complications were not observed between the groups. Elevated intraoperative SBP can be used to rapidly, safely, and effectively identify ISAs, increase the number of retained spermatic arteries, and markedly reduce the operative time for MSV.

To provide a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between personality and creativity, the present study discriminated the general and malevolent facets of creativity and examined their associations with three personality traits-authenticity, openness to experience, and risk-taking-that vary in moral preferences. Three hundred Chinese individuals (82% were female; mean age was 20.36 years) voluntarily participated in our online survey in which they were instructed to complete several demographical questions, the Authenticity Scale, the Openness subscale of the NEO Five-Factor Inventory-3, a risk-taking question, the Innovative Behavior Scale (i.e., general creativity), the Malevolent Creative Behavior Scale (i.e., malevolent creativity), and two alternative uses tasks (i.e., creative potential and malevolent response tendency). The results revealed that, when controlling for individuals' creative potential and malevolent response tendency, authenticity, openness to experience, and risk-taking were all positively correlated with general creativity; however, they predicted malevolent creativity in markedly different ways, demonstrating negative, non-significant, and positive associations, respectively. The results indicate that personality traits could relate to general and malevolent creativity differently. Wood's (Wood, Linley, Maltby, Baliousis, & Joseph, 2008 (See CR50)) authenticity scale is widely used and has good psychometric properties. Translating it into different languages and evaluating it in diverse samples are critical for expanding its assessing capacity for different populations and facilitating cross-culture comparison. This study aimed to validate this authenticity scale in Chinese and examined its psychometric properties in college and community samples in Chinese context. In Study 1 (N = 281), we translated Wood's authenticity scale into Chinese and explored its construct validity, reliability, criterion-related validity in a college sample. In Study 2 (N = 715), we evaluated the scale's construct replicability, construct and criterion-related validity in a larger community sample (with diverse demographics) and its subsamples (by gender, age, and employment situations) using Hancock and Mueller's (2001 (See CR13)) H coefficient, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), multigroup CFA, and correlation with criterion scales. Results in EFA, subscale intercorrelations, and CFA supported same three-factor structure in the Chinese context. Group invariance tests indicated the same structure held across genders, ages, and employment situations. Good criterion validity and acceptable construct replicability demonstrated that the Chinese version authenticity scale is a valid and reliable instrument. The branches and leaves of 8 varieties of Lonicera japonica as materials, a high-performance liquid chromatography detection method for 8 phenolic acid components was established to determine the content characteristics of phenolic acids in the samples. The content determination results were evaluated by multivariate statistical methods such as cluster analysis, factor comprehensive analysis, and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA). The results indicated that the established method for determining the content of 8 phenolic acids in the branches and leaves of L. japonica was stable, reliable and simple. The variation range of phenolic acids total content in the branches and leaves of 8 varieties of L. japonica was 19.4162~33.6684 mg⋅g-1, and 40.9900~80.3068 mg⋅g-1, respectively. The total content of phenolic acids varied greatly among different varieties, with 'Beihua No.1' had the highest total content in both branches and leaves, and 'Juhua No.1' had the lowest total content. Cluster analysis found that among the branches of 'Beihua No.1' was clustered separately into one group, with higher content of each component than other varieties. Factor comprehensive analysis showed that the comprehensive score of 'Beihua No.1' was >1. PLS-DA analysis identified isochlorogenic acid A, isochlorogenic acid C, ferulic acid and chlorogenic acid as the main components that might cause differences in phenolic acid content in branches. Among leaves, 'Beihua No.1' and 'Jiufeng No.1' were clustered into one category, and their comprehensive factor analysis scores were both greater than 1. PLS-DA analysis identified chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid and ferulic acid as the main components that might cause differences in phenolic acid content in leaves. In summary, there were differences in the main phenolic acid composition characteristics of different varieties. In terms of phenolic acid content, the branches and leaves of 'Beihua No.1' and 'Jiufeng No.1' have more advantages. It is well established that creativity can be stimulated by expanding the breadth of knowledge activation. In addition, some researchers have proposed that concept mapping can stimulate individuals into more flexible thinking processes. Based on the literature, three studies were conducted in the present research to systematically investigate whether concept mapping as a way of knowledge activation can increase individual performance in a widely used verbal divergent thinking task, the alternative uses task (AUT). As a first step, Study 1 investigated the relationship between individuals' concept mapping ability and their AUT performance. Then, by means of experimental manipulation, Study 2 examined whether cross-links were an important element through which concept mapping facilitated AUT performance. Study 3 further examined whether dissociative ability (as an indicator of breadth of knowledge activation) mediated the relationship between cross-links and AUT performance. Taken together, the results indicated: (1) among the four indices of concept mapping ability (propositions, hierarchies, cross-links, and examples), propositions and cross-links showed positive associations with AUT performance; (2) cross-links were an important element through which concept mapping priming facilitated AUT performance; and (3) dissociative ability fully mediated the relationship between cross-links and AUT fluency. Implications and future directions were discussed in detail.

Over the past few decades, there have been advancements in the development of high‐performance tissue adhesives as alternatives to traditional sutures and staples for rapid and effective wound closure post‐surgery. While tissue adhesives offer advantages such as ease of use, short application time, and minimal tissue damage, they also face challenges related to biocompatibility, biodegradability, and adhesive strength. In this study, L‐lysine diisocyanate (LDI) and trimethylolpropane (TMP) were utilized as the primary raw materials to produce a prepolymer terminated with NCO, resulting in the development of a new biocompatible polyurethane tissue adhesive (TMP‐LDI). Additionally, SiO2 nanoparticles were incorporated into the prepolymer, significantly enhancing the adhesive strength of the TMP‐LDI tissue adhesive through the "nanobridging effect," achieving a strength of 170.4 kPa. Furthermore, the SiO2/TMP‐LDI tissue adhesive exhibited satisfactory temperature change during curing and degradation performance. In vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated that SiO2/TMP‐LDI exhibited good biocompatibility, efficient hemostasis, antimicrobial properties, and the ability to promote wound healing.
