Academic procrastination, a common phenomenon among college students, is particularly prominent in the field of higher vocational education in China and has attracted much attention in the field of educational research because of its large influence on student academic achievements. In recent years, an increasing number of studies have held that academic procrastination results from student self-regulation failure, and there is an important internal relationship between self-regulation failure and relative deprivation. To examine the relationship mechanism between relative deprivation and academic procrastination in higher vocational college students, this study investigated 15,998 higher vocational college students in Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan by using the "Relative Deprivation Questionnaire," "Adolescent Academic Emotion Questionnaire," "Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale" ("CD-RISC") and "Middle School Student Academic Procrastination Scale." The results show the following. (a) Relative deprivation had a significant negative predictive effect on academic procrastination. (b) Negative academic emotions mediated the relationship between relative deprivation and academic procrastination. (c) Resilience moderated the relationship between negative academic emotions and academic procrastination.

Liver fibrosis is characterized by the activation and transformation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) induced by various injury factors. The degree of liver fibrosis can be significantly improved, but persistent injury factors present a significant therapeutic challenge. Hepatocytes are the most important parenchymal cell type in the liver. In this study, we explored the molecular mechanisms by which damaged liver cells activate HSCs through extracellular vesicles. We established a coculture model of LO2 and LX2 and validated its exosomal transmission activity. Subsequently, differentially expressed long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) were screened through RNA sequencing and their mechanisms of action as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs) further confirmed using biological methods, such as FISH and luciferase assays. Damaged liver cells induced activation of LX2 and upregulation of liver fibrosis‐related markers. Exosomes extracted and identified from the supernatant fraction contained differentially expressed lncRNA cytoskeleton regulator RNA (CYTOR) that competed with microRNA‐125 (miR‐125) for binding to glial cell line‐derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) in HSCs, in turn, promoting LX2 activation. MiR‐125 could target and regulate both CYTOR and GDNF and vice versa, as verified using the luciferase assay. In an in vivo model, damaged liver extracellular vesicles induced the formation of liver fibrosis. Notably, downregulation of CYTOR within extracellular vesicles effectively inhibited liver fibrosis. The lncRNA CYTOR in exosomes of damaged liver cells is upregulated and modulates the expression of downstream GDNF through activity as a ceRNA, providing an effective mechanism for activation of HSCs. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic and destructive autoimmune disease that has created a global burden. However, the pathogenesis and treatment strategies of IBD remain difficult problems to overcome. The anti‐inflammatory action of anion‐dependent layered double hydroxide (LDH) is evaluated in IBD. Raw264.7 macrophages induced by Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) produced low levels of pro‐inflammatory cytokines after LDH treatment. The results from dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)‐induced murine colitis models show that LDHs significantly reduce pro‐inflammatory cytokines in the colon tissue and inhibit colon atrophy. Most importantly, LDH with NO3− as the interlayer anion (LDH‐NO3−) demonstrates superior anti‐inflammatory ability compared to LDH with Cl− as the interlayer anion (LDH‐Cl−), both in vitro and in vivo. LDH‐NO3− promotes the differentiation of CD206+CX3CR1+ lamina propria macrophages, reduces the abundance of T helper 17 (Th17) cells, and inhibits the activation of the IL‐17 signaling pathway. LDH‐NO3− also limits the pro‐inflammatory effects of IL‐17A on macrophages, and the anti‐inflammatory effects of LDH‐NO3− are reversed by IL‐17RA‐siRNA. Suggesting that LDH effectively inhibits the inflammatory reaction induced by the interaction between macrophages and Th17 cells. This study demonstrates that LDH‐NO3− is a drug‐free nanomedicine that acts against IBD, providing application prospects for LDH‐NO3− in IBD treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Through the numerical simulations of the hydrodynamic model, the water storage and discharge are found to be limited to envelope lines and the discharge/water depth process lines during water rising and falling showed a grid-shaped distribution. Furthermore, if a catchment is regarded as a semi-open water storage system, there is a nonlinear relationship between the inside average water depth and the outlet water depth, namely the water storage ratio curve, which resembles the shape of a "plume". In the case of an open channel without considering spatial variability, the water storage ratio curve is limited to three values (i.e., the upper, the steady, and the lower limit), which are found to be independent of meteorological (rainfall intensity), vegetation (Manning's coefficient), and terrain (slope gradient) conditions. Meteorological, vegetation, and terrain conditions only affect the size of the "plume" without changing its shape. Rainfall, especially weak rain (rainfall intensity is less than 5.0 mm h-1) significantly affects the fluctuations of water storage ratio, which can be divided into three modes, that is Mode Ⅰ during rainfall beginning stage, Mode Ⅱ during rainfall duration stage, and Mode Ⅲ during rainfall end stage. Results indicate that the determination of the nonlinear relationship of the water storage ratio curve under different geographical scenarios will provide new ideas for simulation and early warning of floods. This study presents a field-scale simulation of the Hongshiyan landslide in China. It uses an advanced numerical approach (material point method (MPM)) and a constitutive model (the Drucker- Prager model + [mu](I) rheological relation) for the three-dimensional (3D) simulation. The performance of the developed MPM model is validated with laboratory-scale experimental data on granular collapse before being applied to field-scale analyses. ArcGIS data are used to create a 3D MPM model of the soil body with complicated geometry. Although the developed model can describe the multiple phases of granular flow, it focuses on the runout behavior of the landslide in this work. The landslide is assumed to have occurred suddenly due to an earthquake, and global sudden failure rather than progressive failure is modeled. The MPM simulation results match reasonably well with the measured post-earthquake topography (e.g., deposit height of about 120 m and stretch length of about 900 m in the river) and landslide duration of about 1 min. The velocity of the sliding mass increases rapidly during flow, especially in the first 20 s. The velocity profiles along the depth direction at different locations of the sliding body exhibit an exponential distribution similar to that of a Bagnold-type profile, indicating that the sliding body is fully mobilized. The rate-dependent dissipation parameter j3 used in the model significantly influences the runout behavior (e.g., flow speed, velocity distribution, and deposit shape). Il utilise une approche numerique avancee (methode du point materiel (MPM)) et un modele constitutif (modele Drucker-Prager + [mu](I) relation rheologique) pour la simulation tridimensionelle (3D). Les performances du modele MPM developpe sont validees a l'aide de donnees experimentales a l'echelle du laboratoire sur le collapsus granulaire avant d'etre appliquees a des analyses a l'echelle du champ. Les donnees ArcGIS sont utilisees pour creer un modele MPM 3D du corps du sol avec une geometrie complexe. Bien que le modele developpe puisse decrire les multiples phases d'un ecoulement granulaire, il se concentre sur le comportement a la fin du glissement de terrain dans ce travail. Le glissement de terrain est suppose s'etre produit soudainement a cause d'un tremblement de terre, et un echec mondial soudain plutot qu'un echec progressif est modelise. Les resultats de la simulation MPM correspondent raisonnablement bien a la topographie mesuree apres le seisme (par exemple, hauteur de depot d'environ 120 m et longueur d'etirement d'environ 900 m dans la riviere) et duree de glissement de terrain d'environ 1 min. La vitesse de la masse glissante augmente rapidement lors de l'ecoulement, en particulier dans les 20 premieres secondes. Les profils de vitesse dans la direction de la profondeur a differents endroits du corps glissant presentent une distribution exponentielle similaire a celle d'un profil de type Bagnold, indiquant que le corps glissant est entierement mobilise. Le parametre de dissipation dependant de la vitesse j3 utilisee dans le modele influe de maniere significative sur le comportement a la sortie (par exemple, la vitesse d'ecoulement, la distribution de la vitesse et la forme du depot).
