The top deadly cancer sites in terms of global deaths are lung， stomach， liver， breast and colon cancers. In recent years， more and more studies have shown that cancer-related inflammation plays a crucial role in the development and prognosis of the cancer， such as neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio， monocyte-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-lymphocyte ratio. In 2014， the systemic immune inflammatory index （SII） was first defined. SII combined with peripheral platelets， lymphocytes and neutrophils serves as a comprehensive prognostic parameter， which reflects the balance of immune status and host inflammation more comprehensively than a single inflammatory index. Furthermore， it shows obvious advantages in predicting cancer prognosis. In this article， the application of SII in the prognosis of five common solid cancers was reviewed， aiming to provide the basis for clinical evaluation of cancer prognosis.

BackgroundTo explore the evaluation value of systemic immune inflammation index (SII) in the prognosis of patients with alveolar hydatid disease, and establish a nomogram prediction model.MethodsCollect the clinical data of 351 patients undergoing hepatic alveolar hydatid surgery admitted to the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from January 2015 to December 2020, calculate the SII value, and use the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve) to determine According to the optimal clinical cut-off value of SII, patients were divided into two groups with high SII and low SII, and the relationship between SII and clinicopathological factors and prognosis of patients with alveolar echinococcosis was analyzed. Abstract Background To explore the correlation between the preoperative systemic immune inflammation index (SII) and the prognosis of patients with gastric carcinoma (GC). Methods The clinical data of 771 GC patients surgically treated in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital from June 2010 to June 2015 were retrospectively analyzed, and their preoperative SII was calculated. The optimal cut-off value of preoperative SII was determined using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, the confounding factors between the two groups were eliminated using the propensity score matching (PSM) method, and the correlation between preoperative SII and clinicopathological characteristics was assessed by chi-square test. Moreover, the overall survival was calculated using Kaplan-Meier method, the survival curve was plotted, and log-rank test was performed for the significance analysis between the curves. Univariate and multivariate analyses were also conducted using the Cox proportional hazards model. Results It was determined by the ROC curve that the optimal cut-off value of preoperative SII was 489.52, based on which 771 GC patients were divided into high SII (H-SII) group and low SII (L-SII) group, followed by PSM in the two groups. The results of Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that before and after PSM, the postoperative 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival rates in L-SII group were superior to those in H-SII group, and the overall survival rate had a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Before PSM, preoperative SII [hazard ratio (HR) = 2.707, 95% confidence interval (CI) 2.074-3.533, P < 0.001] was an independent risk factor for the prognosis of GC patients. After 1:1 PSM, preoperative SII (HR = 2.669, 95%CI 1.881–3.788, P < 0.001) was still an independent risk factor for the prognosis of GC patients. Conclusions Preoperative SII is an independent risk factor for the prognosis of GC patients. The increase in preoperative SII in peripheral blood indicates a worse prognosis.

Ultrasonic detection is currently used in the industry of medium-density fiberboard to detect blister defects. Due to the small detection area of a single sensor, multiple sensors need to be used, which results in high costs. Starting from elastic thin plate vibration theory, this paper builds a vibration dynamic model to detect blisters. The size and depth of the blister area can be established by determining the natural frequency of the thin plate vibration in the blister area. In this model, if the elastic modulus and density are known, the natural frequency of the thin plate vibration at the blister place is directly proportional to the blister depth and inversely proportional to the square of the blister radius. The size and depth of the blister can be determined by measuring the first third-order natural frequency of this area of research. A total of 25 specimens with blister sizes and depths were simulated, and the natural frequencies of the specimens were measured. Subsequently, the detection model was verified by comparing its experimental data with theoretical values. The theoretical value was highly consistent with the measured data. The measured values of the first, second, and third-order natural frequencies were slightly smaller than the theoretical calculated values, with average relative deviations of −1.6%, −1.34%, and −1.03%, respectively. As the order progressed, the deviation exhibited a downward trend, and the third-order natural frequency displayed the smallest deviation and highest accuracy. The proposed vibration dynamic model can detect larger blister areas by measuring the natural frequency, which can overcome the shortcomings of small ultrasonic detection areas in current actual industries. Background. Gastric cancer is among the most common malignant tumors at home and abroad, because its early symptoms are mostly insidious, which leads to distant metastasis when gastric cancer is first diagnosed. The common metastatic sites of gastric cancer are mainly the liver, lung, and peritoneum, but bone metastasis is relatively rare, and the prognosis of gastric cancer bone metastasis is very poor. Therefore, this study is built on the SEER database to analyze the related risk factors of gastric cancer bone metastasis and related factors affecting the prognosis of gastric cancer patients, aiming at improving clinicians’ understanding of clinical diagnosis and prognosis of bone metastasis of gastric cancer, thus reducing misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. Methods. The SEER database was collected to screen out patients with gastric cancer bone metastases and nonbone metastases matched with them from 2010 to 2016, and the Kaplan-Meier method was used to draw survival curves, and the comparison between survival curves was performed by Log-rank test to analyze the overall survival of the two groups of patient’s time. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the related risk factors of gastric cancer bone metastasis, and the Cox regression proportional hazard model was used to analyze the relationship between gastric cancer bone metastasis and patient prognosis. Results. Using Kaplan-Meier survival curve to analyze the 1, 3, and 5-year survival rates of gastric cancer patients with bone metastasis and non-metastasis groups were 14.2%, 1.8%, 0.6% and 71.4%, 44.3%, 36.4%, respectively; the average survival rate of the metastatic group was The time was 4.0 months (95%CI: 3.475~4.525), and the average survival time of the non-metastatic group was 30.0 months (95%CI: 26.778~33.222). BCN coatings with different chemical compositions were prepared using RF magnetron sputtering via adjusting N2 flow. The influence of N2 flow on the bonding structure, mechanical and tribological properties of coating was studied. The structural analysis indicated the coexistence of B-N, B-C, and N-C bonds, suggesting the formation of a ternary BCN hybridization. The maximum Vickers hardness of 1614.7 HV was obtained at the low N2 flow (5 sccm), whereas the adhesion strength of BCN coatings on 316L stainless steel was improved with an increase of N2 flow. The friction behavior of BCN coatings sliding against different materials (acerbic, beech and lauan wood) was performed using ball-on-disk tribo-meter in air. The low friction coefficient was easier to obtain as sliding against hardwood i.e. acerbic balls. BCN-5 and BCN-10 coatings presented better wear resistance regardless of softwood or hardwood, whilst other two coatings were more suitable for mating softwood i.e. beech and lauan.
