Abstract Large-scale stretchable strain sensor arrays capable of mapping two-dimensional strain distributions have gained interest for applications as wearable devices and relating to the Internet of Things. However, existing strain sensor arrays are usually unable to achieve accurate directional recognition and experience a trade-off between high sensing resolution and large area detection. Here, based on classical Mie resonance, we report a flexible meta-sensor array that can detect the in-plane direction and magnitude of preloaded strains by referencing a dynamically transmitted terahertz (THz) signal. By building a one-to-one correspondence between the intrinsic electrical/magnetic dipole resonance frequency and the horizontal/perpendicular tension level, arbitrary strain information across the meta-sensor array is accurately detected and quantified using a THz scanning setup. Particularly, with a simple preparation process of micro template-assisted assembly, this meta-sensor array offers ultrahigh sensor density (~11.1 cm−2) and has been seamlessly extended to a record-breaking size (110 × 130 mm2), demonstrating its promise in real-life applications.

Abstract MOFs have considerable adsorption capacity due to their huge specific surface area. They have the characteristics of photocatalysts for their organic ligands can absorb photons and produce electrons. In this paper, the photodegradation properties of TiO2 composites loaded with UiO-66 were investigated for the first time for MO. A series of TiO2@UiO-66 composites with different contents of TiO2 were prepared by a solvothermal method. The photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange (MO) was performed using a high-pressure mercury lamp as the UV light source. The effects of TiO2 loading, catalyst dosage, pH value, and MO concentration were investigated. The results showed that the degradation of MO by TiO2@UiO-66 could reach 97.59% with the addition of only a small amount of TiO2 (5 wt%). TiO2@UiO-66 exhibited significantly enhanced photoelectron transfer capability and inhibited efficient electron–hole recombination compared to pure TiO2 in MO degradation. The composite catalyst indicated good stability and reusability when they were recycled three times, and the photocatalytic reaction efficiencies were 92.54%, 88.76%, and 86.90%. The results provide a new option to design stable, high-efficiency MOF-based photocatalysts.

As market competition has increased in recent years, CEO turnover has become more frequent. The tax avoidance activities maximize after-tax profits. After the CEO turnover, the company's strategy needs to be repositioned. Therefore, this paper analyzes the impact of corporate tax avoidance on CEO turnover. This paper selects the Chinese A-share market from 2010 to 2019. It combines theoretical analysis and empirical research to explore the impact of corporate tax avoidance on CEO turnover and further analyzes the relationship under different ownerships. This paper finds a negative relationship between tax rates and forced CEO turnover. Listed companies with lower tax rates increase social concern, leading to public doubts and inspections by tax authorities, which further damage the company's reputation. CEO turnover is the quick and easy way to respond to public accusations. This paper also finds that state-owned enterprises (SOEs) undertake more social responsibilities than non-state-owned enterprises (non-SOEs). The main contributions of this paper are as follows: From the theoretical perspective, this paper conducts systematic research on corporate tax avoidance and CEO turnover and analyzes the relationship under different ownerships. In practice, this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations for the long-term development of enterprises and social responsibilities.

Despite the rapid growth in sales of imported spirits in the Chinese market, consumers are struggling to easily buy high-quality imported spirits with favorable price. The imported spirits flash delivery applications are proposed to provide Chinese consumers with high-quality services delivered within a few hours. This study extends UTUAT2 with knowledge, risk and innovativeness to identify factors influencing Chinese consumers' use of flash delivery services for imported spirits. With the help of service providers, 315 valid questionnaires were collected and an empirical study was carried out. Findings suggest that social influence, habit, innovativeness and knowledge all have significant effects on usage. In particular, knowledge has significant moderating effects on relationships between social influence, habit, innovativeness and usage. This research is supposed to help imported spirits flash delivery providers to further expand the market, and will be of great help to the investment decisions of multinational spirits manufacturers in China.

Risk management has been an important topic since the 2008 financial crisis, and it has become an important area of focus in business management. It is important for the board of directors to evaluate the ability and competence of the CEO. This study was aimed to investigate the effect of various risks on forced CEO turnover through the use of a linear probability model. The Chinese A-share market from 2010 to 2019 was selected as the sample, and theoretical analysis and empirical research were combined to explore the impact of various risks on forced CEO turnover, further analyzes the relationship under different ownerships. This paper study revealed that the crash risk is positively associated with forced CEO turnover. This paper also found that the idiosyncratic risk increases the likelihood of forced CEO turnover, and that the relationship is more significant in non- state-owned enterprises (non-SOEs) than state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The systematic risk has no effect on forced CEO turnover. Risks can be an important indicator of the CEO's ability and competence. This paper also evaluated the relationships in Chinese circumstances. China is an emerging market that has a different legal and social environment than other countries. The different goals of SOEs and non-SOEs lead to different risk attitudes. It is necessary to distinguish ownership when evaluating the Chinese situation.
