Recently, traditional villages in China have received multiple policy protections and capital injections. While these external interventions protect the cultural heritage of traditional villages and provide opportunities for development, they have gradually eroded their intrinsic adaptive cycle system. This study focused on 6819 traditional villages, revealed the characteristics and transitions of the adaptive cycle stages in traditional villages and described the internal mechanisms of adaptability within these villages. The research findings are as follows: Regarding adaptability characterisation, the adaptability of traditional villages has developed a regionally significant imbalance. The highest proportion of adaptability cycle stages was found in the poverty trap, exploration (r) and gambling traps. Traditional villages are mostly in a rigid state, with a few adaptive processes shifting between the poverty trap and exploration (r), requiring a new impetus to guide positive cycles. In terms of adaptability mechanisms, there was a significant negative relationship between locality, mobility and resilience in traditional villages. Intrinsic adaptive mechanisms gradually disintegrate, and there is an increasing risk of falling into a lock-in trap. This study provides empirical evidence for analysing the issues in traditional villages and offers recommendations for long-term planning and policy formulation of locality protection in traditional villages. The application of machine learning (ML) techniques in the lithium battery field is relatively new and holds great potential for discovering new materials, optimizing electrochemical processes, and predicting battery life. However, the accuracy of ML predictions is strongly dependent on the underlying data, while the data of lithium battery materials faces many challenges, such as the multi‐sources, heterogeneity, high‐dimensionality, and small‐sample size. Through the systematic review of the existing literatures, several effective strategies are proposed for data processing as follows: classification and extraction, screening and exploration, dimensionality reduction and generation, modeling and evaluation, and incorporation of domain knowledge, with the aim to enhance the data quality, model reliability, and interpretability. Furthermore, other possible strategies for addressing data quality such as database management techniques and data analysis methodologies are also emphasized. At last, an outlook of ML development for data processing methods is presented. These methodologies are not only applicable to the data of lithium battery materials, but also endow important reference significance to electrocatalysis, electrochemical corrosion, high‐entropy alloys, and other fields with similar data challenges. Economies in the environmentally conscious era follow the 27th Conference of the Parties' commitments to attaining environmental sustainability. However, using alternative energy sources reduces arable land and diminishes land resources, severely affecting food production, exports, and overall income. This issue raises concerns about attaining a sustainable economy, which has attracted little scholarly attention in the preceding literature. The present research examines the influence of food exports, digitalization, access to clean fuel and technologies for cooking, mineral resources, and oil resources on the economic sustainability of lower‐middle‐income economies. Covering the latest period from 1990 to 2022, this study uses several time series estimators to analyze the aggregate data of selected economies. The empirical results suggest that the mentioned variables are cointegrated in the long run. The regression estimates showed that food exports and mineral resources are adversely associated with economic sustainability. However, access to clean fuel and technologies for cooking and digitalization significantly contributes to the region's economic sustainability. Nonetheless, the role of oil resources is insignificant but negative, which validates the resource curse phenomenon in the region. The results are robust since these estimations are validated by regression accounting for structural breaks. This study recommends investment in clean energy resources, efficient mineral resource management, and the transition to clean energy to accomplish the 27th Conference of the Parties target and attain sustainable development. Decision-making is a key part of autonomous driving systems. Human-like decision-making in complex scenarios is important for enhancing drivers' trust in and acceptance of autonomous driving systems. In order to improve their human-like features and their adaptability to complex scenarios, this paper proposes a comprehensive preview decision method for direction and speed based on rules and learning. First, a decision-making structure including maneuvering ability judgment, motion trajectory prediction, safety judgment, legitimacy judgment, comprehensive performance evaluation, and parameters learning is presented. Second, a learning method for the longitudinal safety distance threshold based on a BP neural network is introduced. Third, inverse reinforcement learning (IRL) is used to learn the comprehensive performance evaluation weight coefficient for different driving styles. Finally, the DJI AD4CHE dataset is processed and used to train the parameters. Car-following and lane-changing scenarios are simulated to verify the effectiveness of decision-making. The simulation results show that the proposed method can reflect human-like decision-making in multiple scenarios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
