During sinter pot tests, Ni-containing sinter indices are greatly improved by the appropriate proportioning of different types of limonitic nickel laterite and application of sintering strengthening technology. After optimization, tumble index and productivity of Ni-containing sinter are increased by 27.17% and 20.62%, respectively, and solid fuel rate is reduced by 27.63% compared with the base case. In addition, the metallurgical performance is overall better with higher RI, similar RDI and narrower softening and melting drop intervals. The appropriate proportioning of different types of limonitic nickel laterite and the application of multi-force field strengthening technology contribute to the reduction of (MgO + Al2O3)/SiO2 mass ratio, further densification of sinter layer and extension of holding time of high temperature during sintering. Compared with the base case, sinter porosity is reduced from 48.92% to 20.18% and SFCA amount is increased from 8.78% to 27.12%. Much better quality Ni-containing sinter is consequently obtained. Recent investigations have revealed that oxidative stress can lead to neuronal damage and disrupt mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum functions after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). However, there is limited evidence elucidating their role in maintaining neuronal homeostasis. Metabolomics analysis, RNA sequencing, and CUT&Tag-seq were performed to investigate the mechanism underlying the interaction between the PERK/ATF4 branch of the endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) and mitochondrial one-carbon (1C) metabolism during neuronal resistance to oxidative stress. The association between mitochondrial 1C metabolism and the PERK/ATF4 branch of the ERS after ICH was investigated using transcription factor motif analysis and co-immunoprecipitation. The findings revealed interactions between the GRP78/PERK/ATF4 and mitochondrial 1C metabolism, which are important in preserving neuronal homeostasis after ICH. ATF4 is an upstream transcription factor that directly regulates the expression of 1C metabolism genes. Additionally, the GRP78/PERK/ATF4 forms a negative regulatory loop with MTHFD2 because of the interaction between GRP78 and MTHFD2. This study presents evidence of disrupted 1C metabolism and the occurrence of ERS in neurons post-ICH. An optical fiber sensor based on a hole-assisted dual-core fiber (HADCF) has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated for dual-parameter measurements. The dual-mode interferometer created uses the LP 01 mode and LP 11 mode in the suspended core of a specialist optical fiber, combined with a directional coupler formed by using the suspended core and the center core in a 16 mm long HADCF. Using this, the simultaneous measurement of salinity (due to the presence of NaCl) and temperature has been achieved through monitoring the interference dip and resonance dip. The sensitivities of the measurement of salinity and temperature are 190.7 pm/‰ and -188.2 pm/°C, respectively. The sensor developed has the advantages of simplicity of fabrication, a high level of integration and the potential for measurement of dual parameters, supporting its potential applications in marine environment measurements.
