Background: Endometriosis (EM) is a hormone-dependent condition marked by progressively severe secondary dysmenorrhea, significantly impacting patients' quality of life and overall health. Wen Jing Tang (WJT), a traditional Chinese medicinal formulation derived from the Synopsis of the Golden Chamber, has proven to be an effective therapeutic agent for EM. However, the precise molecular mechanisms underlying its efficacy remain unclear. Objective: This study aims to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of WJT in the treatment of EM by integrating network pharmacology analysis with experimental validation. Methods: The chemical constituents and target sites of WJT were obtained from the TCMSP database, while EM-related target genes were sourced from OMIM, TTD, GeneCards, and the DrugBank databases. A ''herbs-components-targets'' network was constructed using Cytoscape 3.9.1. The intersecting target genes of WJT and EM were then uploaded to the STRING database for protein-protein interaction (PPI) analysis. Subsequently, the common target genes were subjected to GO and KEGG enrichment analysis via the DAVID database. Molecular docking were employed to analyze the binding affinities between the top five core components and their respective targets. Additionally, ELISA were used to quantify the serum levels of IL-6, IL-1β, E2, and P in EM model rats. The expression levels of TNF-α, HIF1A, STAT3, and EGFR mRNA and proteins in ectopic endometrial tissue were assessed using q-PCR and Western blotting. Results: A total of 250 chemical components and 553 targets were identified in WJT, while 3491 EM-related targets were screened from multiple databases. Among these, 187 common targets between WJT and EM were found, with quercetin, kaempferol, and beta-sitosterol emerging as the core chemical components, and AKT1, IL6, TNF, and IL1B identified as the key targets. These core components demonstrated strong binding affinities to the targets. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses revealed that the shared targets were primarily involved in the HIF1 signaling pathway. Furthermore, compared to the control group, the EM model rats exhibited an increased ectopic endometrial area, disordered glandular and stromal cells, and notable inflammatory infiltration. Cyberspace is emerging as a critical living environment, significantly influencing sustainable human development. Internet public opinion is a crucial aspect of cyberspace governance, serving as the most important form of expressing popular will. However, perceiving public opinion can be challenging due to its complex and elusive nature. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for perceiving popular will, managing public opinion, and influencing people's behavior, based on machine learning and game theory approaches. Our framework leverages deep learning techniques to analyze public opinion, active learning methods to reduce costs, and game theory to make optimal management decisions. We verify the effectiveness of our framework using empirical data collected from Chinese provinces Y and G, and provide theoretical support by analyzing the interrelationship between public opinion, online public opinion, and people's behavior. Our framework can be applied inexpensively to studies in other regions, thereby offering valuable insights into cyberspace governance and public opinion management.

The rural B&B industry is a key component of rural tourism, local economic development, and the wider rural revitalization strategy. Despite the abundance of tourism resources in Yunnan, the B&B sector faces significant challenges. It is therefore imperative to accurately identify the most pressing issues within the current B&B industry and formulate appropriate solutions to advance Yunnan's rural revitalization efforts. This study uses recent reviews of rural B&Bs on Ctrip.com and employs machine learning techniques, including Bert, CNN, LSTM, and GRU, to identify the key management challenges currently facing Yunnan's rural B&B industry. An analysis is then conducted to identify the key stakeholders involved in the process of improving the management of Yunnan's B&Bs. To assess the willingness of each stakeholder to support the improvement of the rural B&B industry, this paper establishes a three-party evolutionary game model and examines the dynamic evolutionary process of management improvement within Yunnan's rural B&B industry. Two scenarios of evolutionarily stable strategies are analyzed, and parameters impacting stakeholders' strategy choices are simulated and evaluated. The results show that: i) Improving the "human factor" is the top priority for the current management improvement because tourists are most concerned about the emotional experience. Operators need to focus on improving service attitude and emotional experience; ii) The main stakeholders in the current management optimization process of Yunnan B&Bs are the local government, B&B operators, and tourists. Under appropriate conditions, the evolutionarily stable strategy of (1, 1, 1) is reachable. iii) variables such as additional costs, tourists' choice preferences, and government penalties significantly affect the strategy choices of stakeholders, especially B&B operators. This paper offers effective strategies for improving B&B management that can benefit the government, B&B operators, and tourists, and ultimately contribute to the promotion of quality rural revitalization. The paper not only identifies focal areas for improving B&B management in rural Yunnan, but also provides an in-depth understanding of stakeholder dynamics. As a result, it provides valuable insights to further the cause of quality rural revitalization.

Abstract Acute coronary syndrome (ACS), comprising unstable angina (UA) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI), is the leading cause of death worldwide. Currently, lacking effective strategies for classifying ACS hinders the prognosis improvement of ACS patients. Disclosing the nature of metabolic disorders holds the potential to reflect disease progress and high‐throughput mass spectrometry‐based metabolic analysis is a promising tool for large‐scale screening. Herein, a hollow crystallization COF capsuled MOF hybrids (UiO‐66@HCOF) assisted serum metabolic analysis is developed for the early diagnosis and risk stratification of ACS. UiO‐66@HCOF exhibits unrivaled chemical and structural stability as well as endowing satisfying desorption/ionization efficiency in the detection of metabolites. Paired with machine learning algorithms, early diagnosis of ACS is achieved with the area under the curve (AUC) value of 0.945 for validation sets. Besides, a comprehensive ACS risk stratification method is established, and the AUC value for the discrimination of ACS from healthy controls, and AMI from UA are 0.890, and 0.928. Moreover, the AUC value of the subtyping of AMI is 0.964. Finally, the potential biomarkers exhibit high sensitivity and specificity. This study makes metabolic molecular diagnosis a reality and provided new insight into the progress of ACS.

This paper presents the case of a 45-year-old woman who developed aquaporin-4 (AQP4) antibody-positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) approximately 6 weeks after a herpes zoster infection. Her initial symptoms included area postrema syndrome, which was marked by persistent nausea, vomiting, and belching. This report also provides a summary of the demographic and clinical features, disease progression, magnetic resonance imaging findings, cerebrospinal fluid analysis, treatment plans, and recovery outcomes of 11 patients—including this case and 10 others reported in the literature since 2008—who developed AQP4 antibody-positive NMOSD following herpes zoster infection. This review aims to improve clinicians’ understanding of the characteristics, treatment, and prognosis of this disease. It also highlights the importance for pain management specialists to consider central pain and use the MIDNIGHTS or VINDψCATE mnemonic devices to systematically consider the differential diagnoses of a patient’s new pain symptoms.

Objective: To explore the value of CT radiomics characteristics in evaluating hepatic functional reserve of patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods: A total of 121 patients with clinically confirmed liver cirrhosis were retrospectively collected, who were graded as A, B and C according to Child-Pugh standard. 51 cases were grade A (group A) and 70 cases were grade B and C (group B). All patients underwent non-contrast and contrast enhanced CT scan using GE Discovery CT 750 HD scanner. Enhanced CT images of portal venous phase were selected, and the whole liver was delineated at the level of the left portal vein by 2 radiologists using Shukun Radiomics V94 software. Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was applied to test the inter-group consistency of the results obtained by the 2 radiologists. All patients were randomly divided into the training set and the validation set at a ratio of 7∶3, and the whole liver was performed extraction process for radiomics characteristics. After dimensionality reduction, radiomics characteristics were acquired and the model was established by Logistic Regression (LR). Area Under ROC Curve (AUC) was used to evaluate the performance of the model. Results: The consistency test results of image delineation by two radiologists turned out well and the ICC were greater than 0.75. Finally, 17 radiomics characteristics were used to establish the evaluation model for hepatic functional reserve of patients with liver cirrhosis. The AUC of the training set was 0.84 while the accuracy，sensitivity and specificity was 0.78, 0.79, and 0.77，respectively. The AUC of the validation set was 0.77 while the accuracy，sensitivity and specificity was 0.71, 0.76, and 0.65，respectively. Conclusion: CT radiomics characteristics could be used to evaluate the hepatic functional reserve of patients with liver cirrhosis.

BackgroundAn increasing number of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) have a poor prognosis and develop progressive disease after receiving conventional treatments. In recent years, several novel therapies have been approved for later lines of therapy of previously treated NSCLC. Erlotinib, an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor, was recommended as the second-line therapy for pre-treated patients. However, the use of erlotinib has been reported to represent different clinical effects and adverse effects. ObjectivesThe current study was aim to investigate the efficacy and safety of erlotinib versus chemotherapy in pre-treated patients with advanced NSCLC. MethodsElectronic databases were searched for eligible literatures updated on June 2018. Randomized-controlled trials assessing the efficacy and safety of erlotinib in pre-treated NSCLC were included, of which the main outcomes were ORR (objective response rate), PFS (progression-free survival), OS (overall survival) and AEs (adverse events). All the data were pooled with the corresponding 95% confidence interval using RevMan software. Sensitivity analyses and heterogeneity were quantitatively evaluated. ResultsA total of 11 randomized controlled trials were included in this analysis. The group of erlotinib did not achieved benefit in progression-free survival (OR = 0.61, 95%CI = 0.33–1.12, P = 0.11), overall survival (OR = 0.98, 95%CI = 0.84–1.15, P = 0.81) as well with the objective response rate (OR = 0.77, 95%CI = 0.36–1.63, P = 0.49), respectively. In the results of subgroup analysis among the patients with EGFR wild-type, there is also no significant differences in overall survival with erlotinib (OR = 0.90, 95%CI = 0.78–1.04, P = 0.15) and progression-free survival (OR = 0.33, 95%CI = 0.09–1.18, P = 0.09). The most common treatment-related adverse events in the erlotinib group is rash (OR = 5.79, 95%CI = 2.12–15.77, P = 0.0006), and neutropenia (OR = 0.02, 95%CI = 0.01–0.10, P ≤ 0.00001) is more found in the control group. In addition, fatigue (P = 0.09) and diarrhea (P = 0.52), the difference between the two groups had no statistical significance. ConclusionsThere was no significant difference noted with regard to efficacy and safety between erlotinib vs. chemotherapy as the later-line therapy for previously treated patients with NSCLC, even with subgroup patients who have wild-type EGFR tumors. While, erlotinib might increase the risk of rash, and decrease the risk of neutropenia, compared with the chemotherapy. Further research is needed to develop a database of all EGFR mutations and their individual impact on the differing treatments.

A competitive fluorescence immunoassay for the quantitative detection of 2-amino-3-methylimidazo [4,5-f] quinoline (IQ) in pan-fried meat patties was developed, using magnetic nanoparticles coupled with coating antigen as the capture probe and anti-IQ antibody coupled with NaYF4: Yb, Er upconversion nanoparticles as the signal probe. Under optimal conditionals, the wide detection range for IQ in phosphate buffer saline is from 0.01 to 100 μg·L−1 (R2 = 0.991) with a detection limit of 0.007 μg·L−1. This proposed method has been applied to detect IQ in two different types of pan-fried meat patties at varying frying times, and the IQ content in chicken patties and fish patties are 2.11–3.47 μg·kg−1 and 1.35–2.85 μg·kg−1, respectively. These results are consistent with that of the ultraperformance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. In summary, this method can serve as a sensitive and specific test tool for the determination of IQ in processed meat.
