BACKGROUND: Digital treatment adherence technologies (DATs) have been recommended by the Chinese National Tuberculosis Programme since 2015. However, until now the extent to which DATs have been adopted in China remain unclear. In this study, we aimed to understand the current status and future prospects of DAT use in China.METHODS: A cross-sectional study was undertaken to collect data from all 2,884 county-level TB-designated institutions across China using a quantitative questionnaire and extraction of information from the Chinese TB information management system. Data were collected between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021.RESULTS: All of the 2,884 county-level TB-designated institutions responded to the questionnaire. We found that the utilisation rate of DATs in China was 21.5% (n = 620). Among those using DATs, the uptake of DATs among TB patients was 31.0%. Lack of financial, policy and technology support were the main barriers to adoption and scale up DATs at the institution level.CONCLUSIONS: The use of DATs is in an early stage in China; however, the number of institutions who offer DATs have increased significantly after July 2020. To facilitate the use of DATs, the national TB programme should provide more financial, policy and technology support, and a national guideline is required.

This study aims to detect expression pattern and clinical significance of circRIP2 in colorectal carcinoma (CRC). In the meantime, the regulatory effect of circRIP2 on CRC cell functions is clarified.Relative levels of circRIP2 in 45 cases of CRC tissues and paracancerous tissues were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Its clinical significance in predicting pathological manifestations of CRC was analyzed. In vitro regulation of circRIP2 on proliferative and migratory abilities of Sw620 and HCT-116 cells was assessed by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), 5-Ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) and transwell assay, respectively. Dual-Luciferase reporter assay and rescue experiments were conducted to reveal the interaction between circRIP2 and its target gene CBFB, as well as their co-regulation on CRC cell functions. At last, in vivo regulation of circRIP2 on CRC growth in nude mice implanted with HCT-116 cells was explored.CircRIP2 was upregulated in these samples of CRC tissues and cell lines. High level of circRIP2 predicted advanced staging, and high risk of distant metastasis of CRC. In vitro knockdown of circRIP2 weakened proliferative and migratory abilities in Sw620 and HCT-116 cells. CBFB was downregulated in CRC tissues, which was negatively regulated by circRIP2 as its target gene. The attenuated proliferative and migratory abilities in Sw620 and HCT-116 cells with circRIP2 knockdown were abolished by co-silence of circRIP2 and CBFB. Moreover, in vivo knockdown of circRIP2 slowed down CRC growth in nude mice, and upregulated positive expression of CBFB in xenografted CRC tissues.CircRIP2 is a potential indicator for predicting tumor staging and distant metastasis of CRC. It aggravates the deterioration of CRC through negatively regulating CBFB.

Summary Guidelines for doctors managing osteoporosis in the Asia-Pacific region vary widely. We compared 18 guidelines for similarities and differences in five key areas. We then used a structured consensus process to develop clinical standards of care for the diagnosis and management of osteoporosis and for improving the quality of care. Purpose Minimum clinical standards for assessment and management of osteoporosis are needed in the Asia-Pacific (AP) region to inform clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) and to improve osteoporosis care. We present the framework of these clinical standards and describe its development. Methods We conducted a structured comparative analysis of existing CPGs in the AP region using a “5IQ” model (identification, investigation, information, intervention, integration, and quality). One-hundred data elements were extracted from each guideline. We then employed a four-round Delphi consensus process to structure the framework, identify key components of guidance, and develop clinical care standards. Results Eighteen guidelines were included. The 5IQ analysis demonstrated marked heterogeneity, notably in guidance on risk factors, the use of biochemical markers, self-care information for patients, indications for osteoporosis treatment, use of fracture risk assessment tools, and protocols for monitoring treatment. There was minimal guidance on long-term management plans or on strategies and systems for clinical quality improvement. Twenty-nine APCO members participated in the Delphi process, resulting in consensus on 16 clinical standards, with levels of attainment defined for those on identification and investigation of fragility fractures, vertebral fracture assessment, and inclusion of quality metrics in guidelines. Conclusion The 5IQ analysis confirmed previous anecdotal observations of marked heterogeneity of osteoporosis clinical guidelines in the AP region. The Framework provides practical, clear, and feasible recommendations for osteoporosis care and can be adapted for use in other such vastly diverse regions. Implementation of the standards is expected to significantly lessen the global burden of osteoporosis.

Four azoles with similar element percentages but different heterocyclic rings and functional groups are investigated with fs laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) as regards the influence of the interaction between the functional groups and heterocyclic rings on laser-induced plasma (LIP) emission. Temporally and spatially resolved measurements of the CN and C2 emissions are obtained and analyzed. The functional group affects the π-electron delocalization of the heterocyclic ring and consequently changes the dissociation pathways of the heterocyclic ring. At the early stage, CN is formed from the atomic recombination or native fragments, while at the late stage, through the remaining native fragments. In the whole plasma lifetime, C2 is mainly transformed from CN. Furthermore, dynamic CN and C2 distributions mediated by the laser-induced shock waves are discussed.

目的 比较亲缘单倍型造血干细胞移植（HIDT）和同胞相合造血干细胞移植（MSDT）治疗完全缓解期（CR）急性T淋巴细胞白血病（T-ALL）的疗效。 方法 回顾性分析2012年5月至2017年5月间在河北燕达陆道培医院接受HIDT（81例）和MSDT（17例）的CR期T-ALL患者的临床特点和预后。 结果 HIDT组、MSDT组移植后100 d Ⅱ～Ⅳ度急性GVHD发生率分别为51.9％（95％CI42.0％～64.0％）、29.4％（95％CI 14.1％～61.4％）（P＝0.072），Ⅲ/Ⅳ度急性GVHD发生率分别为9.8％（95％CI 5.1％～19.1％）、11.8％（95％CI 3.2％～43.3％）（P＝1.000），巨细胞病毒（CMV）血症发生率分别为53.1％（95％CI 43.3％～65.2％）、29.4％（95％CI 14.1％～61.4％）（P＝0.115），EB病毒（EBV）血症发生率分别为35.8％（95％CI 26.8％～47.9％）、11.8％（95％CI 3.2％～43.3％）（P＝0.048）。HIDT、MSDT两组移植后5年总生存（OS）率分别为60.5％（95％CI 5.4％～49.0％）、68.8％（95％CI 11.8％～40.0％）（P＝0.315），无白血病生存（LFS）率分别为58.0％（95％CI 5.5％～46.5％）、68.8％（95％CI11.8％～40.0％）（P＝0.258），累积复发率分别为16.1％（95％ CI 9.8％～26.4％）、11.8％（95％ CI3.2％～43.3％）（P＝0.643），非复发死亡率（NRM）分别为25.9％（95％CI 17.9％～37.5％）、19.4％（95％CI6.9％～54.4％）（P＝0.386）。 结论 对于CR期T-ALL患者，当缺乏合适供者时，HIDT可作为替代选择。

The evaluation methods of immune persistence include direct evaluation, indirect evaluation, model prediction, and meta-analysis and so on. Direct evaluation is the gold standard for evaluating the immune persistence of vaccines by quantifying the protective effect of vaccines on the onset and (or) infection of preventable diseases. Indirect evaluation of immune persistence by immunological surrogate indicators is more widely used in practice. In addition, mathematical models and meta-analysis can also be used to evaluate the immune persistence of vaccines. It is of great significance to select the appropriate evaluation method to analyze the immune persistence of the vaccine according to the specific situation.疫苗的免疫持久性评价方法包括直接评价、间接评价以及模型预测、Meta分析等方法。直接评价通过评价疫苗对所预防疾病发病和（或）感染的保护作用来评价疫苗的免疫持久性，是疫苗的免疫持久性评价的金标准。通过免疫学替代指标间接评价疫苗的免疫持久性，在实践中应用更为广泛。此外，数学模型、Meta分析等方法也可用于疫苗的免疫持久性评价。结合具体情况选择恰当的评价方法分析疫苗的免疫持久性，对完善疫苗免疫策略具有重要意义。.

颅内黏液样间叶性肿瘤是一种罕见的肿瘤，分子遗传学伴EWSR1与CREB家族基因融合。本文报道1例9岁男性患儿，小脑占位性病变，肿瘤结节状生长，界限清楚，肿瘤细胞椭圆形、梭形或星芒状，疏密不等，大部分呈条索状或疏松网状分布于黏液性间质中，间质内可见“石棉样”纤维，局灶细胞较丰富，呈片状排列。免疫组织化学结果：波形蛋白阳性，结蛋白及CD68部分阳性，上皮细胞膜抗原及CD99弱阳性，胶质纤维酸性蛋白、Olig2、S-100蛋白、平滑肌肌动蛋白、p63、CD34等均阴性，p53野生型表达，热点区Ki-67阳性指数约20%。分子表型：荧光原位杂交检测到EWSR1基因分离，二代测序检测出EWSR1-CREB1及SELENOW-EWSR1融合基因。病理诊断为伴EWSR1-CREB1融合的颅内黏液样间叶性肿瘤。术后7个月，患者状态良好，无复发及转移。诊断时应与脑膜瘤、胶质瘤、伴EWSR1-CREB家族基因融合的其他肿瘤及骨外黏液样软骨肉瘤等形态相似的肿瘤鉴别。.

The current study aimed to compare intraoperative and early postoperative outcomes with robot-assisted esophagectomy (RAE) vs. minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) for esophageal cancer.We searched PubMed, Embase, and Google Scholar for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or propensity-matched cohort studies comparing RAE with MIE for patients with esophageal cancer.One RCT and 14 retrospective propensity-matched studies were included. Meta-analysis revealed significantly increased operative time (MD: 32.89 95% CI: 6.42, 59.35 I2=95% p=0.01) and reduced blood loss (MD: -35.15 95% CI: -61.30, -8.99 I2=82% p=0.008) with RAE. Both the results turned statistically non-significant on exclusion of one study. The was no difference between the two techniques for anastomotic leak (RR: 0.98 95% CI: 0.76, 1.24 I2=0% p=0.84), chyle leak (RR: 0.94 95% CI: 0.48, 1.83 I2=0% p=0.86), recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy (RR: 0.92 95% CI: 0.61, 1.39 I2=70% p=0.69), cardiac complication (RR: 1.06 95% CI: 0.64, 1.78 I2=0% p=0.82), infectious complications (RR: 1.06 95% CI: 0.47, 2.42 I2=0% p=0.88), conversion to open surgery (RR: 0.60 95% CI: 0.25, 1.43 I2=56% p=0.25) or early mortality (RR: 1.04 95% CI: 0.74, 1.47 I2=0% p=0.82). However, pulmonary complications were significantly reduced with RAE as compared to MIE (RR: 0.72 95% CI: 0.60, 0.86 I2=0% p=0.003).RAE is associated with a tendency of longer operating time and reduced blood loss as compared to MIE. RAE significantly reduces pulmonary complications as compared to MIE but has no impact on the incidence of anastomotic leak, chyle leak, RLN palsy, cardiac complication, infectious complications, conversion to open surgery, or early mortality.

In order to explore the mechanism of gefitinib-acquired resistance in lung cancer, a new biomarker has been developed for early clinical diagnosis and intervention; human NSCLC (Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer) cell lines H292 (denoted as H292S) and PC9 (denoted as PC9S) were used to establish gefitinibresistant NSCLC cell lines H292 and PC9 models. CCK-8 (Cell Counting Kit-8) method was used to test the drug resistance of the cells. circRNAs (circular RNAs) that were differentially expressed before and after resistance were screened by RNA sequencing technology. The effects of circSETD3 overexpression and interference on the sensitivity of gefitinib was observed to analyze the nuclear localization of circSETD3 and verify the interaction between circSETD3-miR-520h-ABCG2. The results showed that the most significant change in differential expression of human NSCLC cell lines before and after drug resistance was hsa_circ_0000567, that is, circSETD3, which is mainly present in the cytoplasm. In H292S and PC9S, compared with the negative control group, the cell proliferation ability of the overexpression group was significantly increased, and the apoptosis ability was significantly decreased. In H292R and PC9R, compared with the negative control group, the proliferation ability of the interference group was significantly decreased, and the apoptosis ability was significantly increased. Overexpression of circSETD3 to H292S and PC9S, the expression of ABCG2 increased significantly. Also, the expression of ABCG2 decreased significantly after transfection with miR-520h mimics. H292R and PC9R interfered with circSETD3, the expression of ABCG2 decreased significantly. Moreover, the expression of ABCG2 increased significantly after transfection with miR-520h inhibitor. In conclusion, circSETD3 can be used as a novel biomarker for lung cancer. It relieves miR-520h degradation of the transporter ABCG2 by down-regulating the miR-520h expression, causing gefitinib to be pumped out of the cell.

目的 观察嵌合抗原受体T细胞（CART）序贯二次异基因造血干细胞移植（allo-HSCT）治疗移植后复发急性B淋巴细胞白血病（B-ALL）的疗效。 方法 回顾性分析2015年10月至2020年6月在河北燕达陆道培医院接受二次allo-HSCT的41例B-ALL患者的临床资料，入选患者均为移植后骨髓形态学或髓外复发且二次移植前接受CART治疗。 结果 全部41例患者中男21例、女20例，二次移植时中位年龄为16（3～46）岁。移植后骨髓复发31例（75.6％）、髓外复发5例（12.2％）、骨髓和髓外复发5例（12.2％）。复发后接受CD19-CART治疗35例（85.4％）、CD22-CART治疗2例（4.9％）、CD19-CART联合CD22-CART治疗4例（9.8％）。二次移植后预期3年总生存（OS）率为48.9％（95％ CI 23.0％～70.6％）、无白血病生存（LFS）率为41.8％（95％ CI 17.3％～64.9％），累积复发率（RI）为8.8％（95％ CI 2.9％～26.4％），非复发相关死亡率（NRM）为51.1％（95％ CI 31.2％～83.6％）。首次移植后复发时间≤6个月组（10例）二次移植后1年OS率低于复发时间>6个月组（31例）［45.0％（95％ CI 12.7％～73.5％）对75.0％（95％ CI 51.4％～88.8％），P＝0.017］。 结论 CART序贯二次allo-HSCT可使部分造血干细胞移植后复发B-ALL患者获得长生存，但NRM较高，移植方案有待进一步改进。

To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of malaria in Henan Province from 1950 to 2019, so as to provide the scientific evidence for consolidating malaria elimination achievements in the province.The epidemiological situation of malaria and demographic data in Henan Province from 1950 to 2019 were collected, and the statistical analyses were performed using a descriptive epidemiological method. The spatial temporal distribution of malaria cases was identified using the software ArcGIS version 10.3.During the period from 1950 through 2019, the progress of malaria elimination was divided into 4 stages in Henan Province, including the baseline-survey and key-control stage, morbidity-control and incidence-reduction stage, basic-eradication and achievement-consolidation stage and elimination stage. The spatial distribution of malaria cases shifted from south of the Huai River and the plain regions between the Yellow River and Taihang Mountain to the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain and Nanyang Basin, then was concentrated in eastern part of southern Huai River whereThere has been a large change in the epidemiological characteristics of malaria in Henan Province from 1950 to 2019. Although malaria has been eliminated in Henan Province, the consolidation of the malaria elimination achievements remain a great challenge due to overseas imported malaria.

Polymer-matrix composites play an important role as packaging material in superconducting equipment. The research on thermal conductivity of composites by combining computer numerical simulation and reference data can not only save the expenses but also shorten the period of material development. Herein, the internal heat flow of silicon carbide/aluminum nitride/Epoxy composites was simulated by COMSOL finite element software. And the thermal conductivity calculated by the finite element software is compared with the existing thermal conductivity mechanism. Meanwhile, the influence of the fraction, gap distance, interfacial thermal resistance, etc. on the thermal conductivity of composites was analyzed. In short, it can provide a reference for the thermal conductivity design of polymer composites.

目的 探讨TP53基因突变对Ph阴性急性B淋巴细胞白血病（B-ALL）异基因造血干细胞移植（allo-HSCT）疗效的影响。 方法 回顾性研究2012年5月至2017年5月在河北燕达陆道培医院行allo-HSCT的300例Ph阴性B-ALL患者的临床特点和TP53基因突变发生情况，分析TP53基因突变对移植后无白血病生存（LFS）、总生存（OS）、非复发相关死亡（NRM）、累积复发率（RI）和移植物抗宿主病（GVHD）发生的影响。 结果 共23例患者检出TP53基因突变，突变位点均位于DNA结合区。TP53基因突变组和非突变组5年LFS率分别为34.8%和62.3%（P=0.001），5年OS率分别为41.9%和65.1%（P=0.020），5年RI分别为47.8%和14.8%（P=0.000），而两组间在GVHD和NRM上差异无统计学意义（P>0.05）。多因素分析显示，TP53基因突变仍然是影响移植后OS、LFS和RI的不良因素。 结论 allo-HSCT可以使部分具有TP53基因突变的Ph阴性B-ALL患者获得长期生存。TP53基因突变是影响Ph阴性B-ALL患者allo-HSCT预后的独立危险因素。

The aim of the study was to assess the relationship between underweight and falls. It was a cross-sectional study in community-based participants from China Hainan Centenarian Cohort Study (CHCCS). A total of 942 centenarians (mean ages were 102.4 years in men and 102.9 years in women, 21.8% were semi-supercentenarians, and 3.2% were supercentenarians) were enrolled from July 2014 to December 2016. Height and weight were measured according to the standard protocol. Participants were interviewed face to face to self-report falls for recent 3 months. The risks of future falls were evaluated by Morse Fall Scale (MFS). The mean body mass index (BMI) was 19.04±2.79 kg/m2 in men and 18.07±3.27 kg/m2 in women. The 3-month incidences of once fall were 10.3% in men and 13.4% in women, recurrent falls were 15.4% in men and 13.4% in women, future high risks of falls were 36.6% in men and 44.3% in women. There were underweight by gender interactions on at least one fall (OR=1.39, 95% CI=1.04-1.86, P=0.026) and future high fall risk (OR=1.39, 95% CI=1.07-1.80, P=0.014). Men with underweight had higher ratios of at least one fall (OR=4.12, 95% CI=1.59-10.70, P=0.004), recurrent falls (OR=6.71, 95% CI=1.69-26.63, P=0.007) and high risk of future falls (OR=2.44, 95% CI=1.27-4.70, P=0.007), while women with underweight was only associated with high risk of future falls (OR=1.37, 95% CI=1.01-1.85, P=0.043). Compared with normal weight and overweight, underweight in men had a higher MFS Score (increased by average 7.6 points, P=0.010), yet this trend was not observed in women counterparts. Underweight was associated with incidences of 3-month and future high fall risk in centenarians, which was more pronounced in men. Underweight could be a marker in identifying potential falls in long-lived people, especially men, who need further measures to gaining weight to normal and preventing falling.

Solar radio spikes are short-duration, narrow-band burst signals, which are a fine structure of solar radio bursts. The processing and analysis of their observed data are of great significance in the study of electron acceleration in the process of solar flares and electron acceleration during the explosion and diagnosis of corona parameters. Deep learning interprets data by mimicking the mechanism of the human brain. Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (Faster R-CNN) is a branch of deep learning based on region nomination, and its classification results have considerable advantages in accuracy. In this paper, Faster R-CNN will be used to identify and extract solar radio spikes. In order to improve the detection ability of small events, a multi-scale detection frame and a multi-layer feature fusion training method are used. The analysis results show that the Average Precision (AP) value of the improved network is close to 91%, which is nearly 10% higher than the original network. So the improved Faster R-CNN method can also be used for the identification and extraction of small-scale fine structures in other fields.

Four C2H4N4 structural isomers are investigated with fs laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. Plasma emissions, C I, Hα, the CN violet system (B2Σ+-X2Σ+, Δν = 0 sequence) and C2 swan system (d3Πg-a3Πu, Δν = 0 sequence) are measured. The temporal evolution of the characteristic emission intensity is obtained for each emission and their lifetimes are calculated. The lifetimes of the molecular emissions are much longer than those of the atomic emissions. Characteristic emission intensities and lifetime are correlated with the molecular structures of the four isomers to a certain extent. Plasma temperature is extracted by fitting the spectrum of the CN violet system, B2Σ+-X2Σ+; Δν = 0 sequence, and is weakly correlated with the molecular structures of the four isomers. Using the characteristic emission intensities as input, principal component analysis (PCA) and artificial neural network (ANN) analysis are performed and the individual isomers can be well identified with PCA or ANN.

To explore the mechanism of RET gene mediated EGFR signaling pathway on the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), proliferation and apoptosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) cells.PTC TPC-1 cells and human normal thyroid follicular epithelial cells Nthy-ori 3-1 were collected to identify the expression of RET in PTC. Seven groups were divided according to different transfection protocols, including blank group, negative control group, si-RET group, oe-RET group, AG-490 group, NSC 228155 group, and si-RET + NSC 228155 group. After transfection, qRT-PCR was used to identify whether the transfection was successful or not. qRT-PCR and Western blot were performed to detect the mRNA and protein expressions of RET, EGFR signaling pathway related genes, and EMT related genes. Cell migration, invasion, proliferation and apoptosis abilities were further detected by CCK8, cell scratch, transwell and flow cytometry assays, respectively.RET gene was highly expressed in PTC cells (p0.05). Compared with blank group, oe-RET group and NSC 228155 group had activated EGFR signaling pathway manifesting in the increased expression of EGFR, p-Src, p-FAK, accelerated EMT showing in the increased expression of N-cadherin and Vimentin expression, but decreased E-cadherin expression, increased cell migration, invasion and proliferation, while decreased apoptosis (all p0.05); si-RET group and AG-490 group had inhibited activation of EGFR signaling pathway, suppressed EMT, decreased cell migration, invasion and proliferation, while increased apoptosis (all p0.05); while no evident difference was found in si-RET + NSC 228155 group (all p0.05). Meanwhile, compared with si-RET group, si-RET + NSC 228155 group showed activated EGFR signaling pathway, accelerated EMT, increased abilities of cell migration, invasion and proliferation, while decreased apoptosis (all p0.05).RET gene is highly expressed in PTC acting as an oncogene. Silencing RET gene expression may inhibit the invasion and promote the apoptosis of PTC cells by inhibiting the activation of EGFR signaling pathway and mediating the process of EMT. It suggests that RET may offer the possibility of a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of PTC on the basis of the explored mechanism.

Gallbladder carcinoma (GBC) is the most common malignancy of the biliary tract, radical resection is the only effective treatment for GBC at present. However, the postoperative effect is still poor. Therefore, identifying the key prognostic factors and establishing an individual and accurate survival prediction model for GBC are critical to prognosis assessment, treatment options and clinical decision support in patients with GBC. The prediction value of current commonly used TNM staging system is limited. Cox regression model is the most commonly used classical survival analysis method, but it is difficult to establish the association between prognostic variables. Nomogram and machine learning techniques including Bayesian network have been used to establish survival prediction model of GBC in recent years, which representing a certain degree of advancement, however, the model precision and clinical application still need to be further verified. The establishment of more accurate survival prediction models for GBC based on machine learning algorithm from Chinese multicenter large sample database to guide the clinical decision-making is the main research direction in the future.胆囊癌是胆道系统最常见的恶性肿瘤，根治性手术切除是目前胆囊癌唯一有效的治疗手段，但效果欠佳。识别胆囊癌患者的关键预后因素，建立一种个体化、准确的生存预测模型，对于胆囊癌患者预后评估、治疗方案选择及临床决策支持具有重要的指导意义。目前常用的肿瘤TNM分期预测价值有限；Cox回归模型是最常用、最经典的生存分析方法，但难以建立预后变量之间的关联关系。列线图及贝叶斯网络等机器学习方法近年来逐渐用于建立胆囊癌的生存预测模型，显示出了一定先进性，但模型的精确度及临床应用仍需要进一步验证。建立我国胆囊癌多中心大样本数据库，基于机器学习算法建立更精准的生存预测模型以指导胆囊癌临床决策是今后研究的主要方向。.

To understand the epidemic status of malaria and progress of malaria elimination in Henan Province in 2018, so as to provide the scientific evidence for formulating the control strategy of malaria.All data pertaining to the epidemic status of malaria and malaria case were captured from Henan Province in 2018, and the epidemic status of malaria and the diagnosis and treatment of malaria cases were analyzed using a descriptive epidemiological method.A total of 174 malaria cases were reported in Henan Province in 2018, with a male-to-female ratio of 33.8∶1. The cases were predominantly found at 30- and 40- years, and farmer was the highest-risk population. All cases were imported for overseas countries and 96.55% (168/174) were from Africa. The cases were reported across 17 cities of the province, and 63.22% (110 cases) were detected in 4 cities of Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Xuchang and Puyang. Both the median duration from onset to initial admission and the median time from the initial admission to definitive diagnosis were 1 d. There were 6 cases (3.45%) with more than 7 days to visit a doctor, and there were 13 cases (7.47%) with definitive diagnosis of over 7 days (delay in definitive diagnosis). All malaria cases were reported within 24 h, and 98.28% (171/174) completed case investigations within 3 d. All 18 cities had achieved malaria elimination by December 2018.All malaria cases reported in Henan Province in 2018 are imported from overseas countries. Intensifying malaria surveillance among returnees from Africa and Southeast Asia and timely identification and treatment of imported malaria cases are required to prevent the development of secondary malaria cases, so as to ensure the achievement of malaria elimination in Henan Province on schedule.

Plasmonics has attracted tremendous interests for its ability to confine light into subwavelength dimensions, creating novel devices with unprecedented functionalities. New plasmonic materials are actively being searched, especially those with tunable plasmons and low loss in the visible–ultraviolet range. Such plasmons commonly occur in metals, but many metals have high plasmonic loss in the optical range, a main issue in current plasmonic research. Here, we discover an anomalous form of tunable correlated plasmons in a Mott-like insulating oxide from the Sr1−xNb1−yO3+δ family. These correlated plasmons have multiple plasmon frequencies and low loss in the visible–ultraviolet range. Supported by theoretical calculations, these plasmons arise from the nanometre-spaced confinement of extra oxygen planes that enhances the unscreened Coulomb interactions among charges. The correlated plasmons are tunable: they diminish as extra oxygen plane density or film thickness decreases. Our results open a path for plasmonics research in previously untapped insulating and strongly-correlated materials., Conventional plasmons in metals often suffer from high plasmonic loss in the optical range. Here, the authors report a distinct form of tunable correlated plasmons in Mott-like insulating Sr1−x NbO3+δ films, with multiple plasmon frequencies and low loss in the visible-ultraviolet range.
