As artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly integrated into society, people are relying on it more and more, and higher requirements are put forward for the safety and ethical standards of AI. This article explores the development of artificial intelligence technology and its potential safety and ethical challenges in various fields. In terms of security, the risk of adversarial attacks is analyzed in depth, and the robustness of the model is enhanced through adversarial training and data enhancement techniques. In addition, it is recommended to adopt measures such as data encryption and differential privacy to address data privacy and security issues. Regarding ethical considerations, this paper identifies the origins of algorithmic bias and argues for mitigating it through rigorous testing, validation, and regulatory frameworks. It also highlights the importance of increasing the transparency and explainability of AI to enhance public trust. Finally, the paper emphasizes the importance of defining accountability for AI behavior and suggests establishing laws and regulations that effectively govern AI applications. In conclusion, the study argues that the development of AI should emphasize safety and ethical considerations. Through the combination of technical intervention, legal supervision and social responsibility, the sustainable development of artificial intelligence is effectively promoted.

The replacement of non‐aqueous organic electrolytes with solid‐state electrolytes (SSEs) in solid‐state lithium metal batteries (SLMBs) is considered a promising strategy to address the constraints of lithium‐ion batteries, especially in terms of energy density and reliability. Nevertheless, few SLMBs can deliver the required cycling performance and long‐term stability for practical use, primarily due to suboptimal interface properties. Given the diverse solidification pathways leading to different interface characteristics, it is crucial to pinpoint the source of interface deterioration and develop appropriate remedies. This review focuses on Li|SSE interface issues between lithium metal anode and SSE, discussing recent advancements in the understanding of (electro)chemistry, the impact of defects, and interface evolutions that vary among different SSE species. The state‐of‐the‐art strategies concerning modified SEI, artificial interlayer, surface architecture, and composite structure are summarized and delved into the internal relationships between interface characteristics and performance enhancements. The current challenges and opportunities in characterizing and modifying the Li|SSE interface are suggested as potential directions for achieving practical SLMBs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Polysulfides shuttle and lithium dendrites growth greatly restricts the practical application of lithium–sulfur batteries (LSBs). A rational designed separator combined polysulfide catalyst and lithium regulator can achieve the effect of killing two birds with one stone. Herein, organic–inorganic hybrid materials are designed to construct a complementary interface for LSBs. Specially, two kinds of covalent organic frameworks (COF) with different pore size are in situ grown on the MXene surface by forming Ti–N bond. The high electronic conductivity and abundant surface functional groups of MXene allow it to work as a catalyst to effectively accelerate the polysulfides conversion, while COF can be used as an ion calibrator to guide homogeneous lithium deposition. As expected, the MXene@COF (MCOF) integrated separator realizes complementary advantages that enable a Li||Li symmetric cell to achieve a surprisingly stable lithium plating/stripping process up to 4750 h at 10 mA cm−2. Furthermore, the assembled LSBs exhibit high capacities of 584/563 mAh g−1 at 3 C and low‐capacity decay rates of 0.042%/0.048% per cycle after 1000 cycles at 1 C. This work proposes a strategy of complementary advantages based on the MXene and COF composites in the interface layer, which is of great significance for the separator construction of high‐performance LSBs. The construction of roads in saline soil areas usually involves using coarse-grained soil as roadbed fill material; studying the water–vapor–salt migration mechanism in coarse-grained saline soil subgrades is crucial for ensuring the stability of highway infrastructure. In order to clarify the influence of fines content and initial moisture on the water–salt migration and to clarify the water–vapor–salt migration patterns in coarse-grained saline soil, a model test of coarse-grained saline soil was conducted to study the response patterns of external water replenishment, final moisture content, final salt content, and liquid level height of coarse-grained saline soil. The results indicated that the water vapor migration amount only causes a change in the final moisture content, albeit not enough to cause salt redistribution. With increasing initial moisture content in coarse-grained saline soil, the migration characteristics of water vapor are weakened, and it imposes a significant inhibitory effect on liquid water migration at the same time. Increasing fines content in coarse-grained soil significantly inhibits water vapor migration, whereas liquid water migration is promoted. Water and salt accumulate in the liquid and vapor coupling migration mode at different heights. Based on the mechanisms of water vapor and salt transport characteristics, this study proposes a novel roadbed structure, which is vital for ensuring the long-term service performance of coarse-grained saline soil roadbeds in saline soil areas. With the continuous development of electrochemical energy storage technology, especially in the current pursuit of environmental sustainability and safety, aqueous energy storage devices, due to their high safety, environmental friendliness, and cost‐effectiveness, are becoming an important direction of development in the field of energy storage. Diverse application scenarios require that energy storage systems be capable of continuous power supply under low temperature conditions. However, conventional aqueous electrolytes freeze at extremely low temperatures, causing limited ion transport and slow reaction kinetics, degrading the performance of the energy storage system. The design of low‐temperature anti‐freeze aqueous electrolytes has become an effective way to address this issue. In this review, the deep connection between hydrogen bonds (HBs) interactions in aqueous electrolytes and the liquid‐to‐solid conversion process, and the fundamental principles of the anti‐freeze mechanism is first explored. Subsequently, a systematic categorization and discussion of the design strategies for low‐temperature anti‐freeze aqueous electrolytes are conducted. Finally, potential directions are proposed. This review aims to provide comprehensive scientific guidance and technical reference for the development of anti‐freeze aqueous electrolytes with excellent low‐temperature performance, thereby promoting the application and innovation of aqueous energy storage devices in low‐temperature environments. Understanding multiphase transformations and the migration of heat, water, vapor, and salt in coarse-grained saline soil under groundwater recharge and environmental freeze—thaw cycles is crucial for ensuring the stability of highway infrastructures. To clarify the water, heat, vapor, and salt migration patterns in coarse-grained saline soil, as well as the salt-insulating effect of the aggregate insulating layer, an experimental study was conducted in a soil column model under pressureless water replenishment with fluorescein-labeled liquid water under freeze—thaw cycles. The results showed that the temperature in the saline soil columns periodically changed and that hysteresis effects occurred during temperature transfer. External water replenishment and the content of liquid water inside the soil exhibited nonlinear changes with environmental temperatures. After multiple freeze—thaw cycles, two water and salt accumulation zones formed within the coarse-grained saline soil subgrade. The migration of liquid water resulted in a water and salt accumulation zone in the nonfrozen zone, whereas the migration of water vapor yielded a water and salt accumulation zone in the frozen zone. To prevent water and salt migration, a 20 cm thick gravel insulating layer could be laid at a distance of 10 cm from the bottom of the roadbed, which could provide a satisfactory salt-insulating effect. The research results provide a theoretical basis and guidance for regulating the stability of subgrades in saline soil areas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, deep eutectic solvent synthesized by choline chloride (C5H14CINO) and oxalic acid dihydrate (C2H2O4·2H2O) was used to recycling LiFePO4 cathodes for spent lithium-ion batteries. The recycling process was optimized by response surface methodology. When the solid-to-liquid ratio is 0.02 and the reaction was performed at 106 °C for 110 min, the leaching efficiencies of lithium and iron are 95.3% and 85.2%, respectively. The measurement results show that iron is recycled as the form of FeC2O4·2H2O after the UV irradiation and lithium is recycled by chemical precipitation. No mineral acid or high temperature is involved in this work, which has great environmental significance to promote the healthy development of the battery recycling technology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
