In our work, 0.5 mol.% TiO2 was added to Ag‐xCuO (x = 2, 4, 8 mol.%) fillers whose compositions at 1050°C were in the L2 single liquid phase region, the boundary of the miscible phase region, and the L1+L2 miscible phase region, respectively. The role of TiO2 was derived by comparing the quenching microstructure of the fillers on the Al2O3 ceramics and the effect on the interfacial microstructure and shear strength of the joints before and after the addition of TiO2. The results showed that the TiO2 would dissolve into the CuO‐rich L1 liquid phase of the filler, leading it to spread outside the molten droplet. When brazing with Ag‐4CuO‐0.5TiO2 filler, the CuO at the joint interface almost completely disappeared, and the shear strength of the joint was significantly reduced. In contrast, the joint strength showed a small increase when using Ag‐8CuO‐0.5TiO2 filler, as the excess CuO at the interface of the brazed joint was reduced. When the filler composition was in the L2 single liquid phase region, CuO was diffusely distributed throughout the molten droplet. In this research work, a reusable and efficient 2D/1D heterogeneous structured photocatalyst based on amine-functionalized halloysite nanotubes (MHNTs) and Bi2WO6 nanosheet (BWO) was prepared using a facile hydrothermal method for decomposing PPCPs under simulated sunlight. On the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH), the effects of composite catalysts prepared under various conditions were discussed. The results showed that over BWO/MHNTs with a mass ratio was 3:1, the synthesizing temperature was 120 °C and the precursor pH value was 1, the TCH (10 mg l−1) degradation efficiency reached 100% after 1 h irradiation of simulated sunlight. Moreover, BWO/MHNTs composites kept good recovery and stable photocatalytic activity after 5 cycles. The excellent dispersion of Bi2WO6 on the surface of clay minerals and the oxygen vacancy enhanced electron–hole separation may be responsible for the its high activity and stability. Futhermore, the radical capture test demonstrated that ·O−2 was primarily responsible for the photodegradation of TCH. Thus, BWO/MHNTs composites exhibit a good application prospect in the field of sunlight-driven photocatalytic degradation towards PPCPs pollutants in water. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The development prospects of wearable humidity sensors in noninvasive diagnostic and noncontact sensing have attracted more and more attention. However, most of the existing humidity sensors are uncomfortable to wear and require complex and high-cost fabrication methods, limiting their application in continuous and real-time detection. Herein, an all-nanofiber wearable humidity sensor, integrating Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) nanofibers, is proposed by combining electrospinning and vacuum magnetron sputtering with high sensitivity, fast response, and good anti-interference ability. Benefiting from the 2D/3D multilevel structure and Grotthuss chain reaction, the sensor exhibits an ultrahigh linear sensitivity of −91%, fast response/recovery time (<3.7 s), and wide sensing range (11–95% RH). Moreover, the sensor is featured with portability, flexibility, breathability, and biocompatibility and is impervious to pressure, temperature, and sweat, contributing to real-time noninvasive monitoring of human respiration and skin moisture. In addition, it can respond remarkably and repeatably to weak humidity changes, which facilitates the noncontact humidity sensing. Most importantly, a simple humidity detection device is assembled and applied to early warn about sleep-related diseases and construct a human–machine interaction interface (such as an intelligent burglar alarm) as a proof of concept. Adding sorbents to sediments has been suggested as an effective technology for contaminated sediment remediation. In this study, a zirconium-modified zeolite (ZrMZ) was prepared, characterized, and used as a sediment amendment to control phosphorus (P) release from eutrophic lake sediments. The efficiency of ZrMZ in immobilizing P from water and sediments was investigated through a series of experiments. The phosphate adsorption capacity for ZrMZ decreased with increasing water pH. The adsorption of phosphate on ZrMZ followed a pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The equilibrium adsorption data of phosphate on ZrMZ could be well described by the Langmuir isotherm model with a maximum monolayer adsorption capacity of 10.2 mg P/g at pH 7 and 25 °C. Sequential extraction of P from the phosphate-adsorbed ZrMZ suggested that most of P bound by ZrMZ existed as the NaOH extractable P (NaOH-P) and residual P (Res-P) and was unlikely to be released under natural pH and reducing conditions. The addition of ZrMZ into sediments reduced the inorganic P activity in the sediments by transforming bicarbonate-dithionite extractable P (BD-P) to NaOH-P and Res-P. The contents of bioavailable P such as water-soluble P (WS-P), NaHCO extractable P (Olsen-P), and algal available P (AAP) in sediments reduced after the sediments were mixed with ZrMZ, making P in the sediments more stable. The addition of ZrMZ into sediments significantly reduced the releasing flux of P from the sediments to the water column under different conditions.
