The semileptonic and nonleptonic decays of the b-flavor vector mesons $B^{*}_{u,d,s}$ and $B_{c}^{*}$ are investigated within the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM). By calculating the form factors of the transitions $B_{u, d, s, c}^{*}\to P$ under the CLFQM, with $P$ denoting a pseudoscalar meson, i.e., $\pi, K, \eta_c(1S,2S), D_{(s)}, B_{(s)}$, we predict and discuss several physical observables, including the branching ratios, polarization fractions $f_{L}, f_{\|}$, and forward-backward asymmetries $A_{FB}$. The total widths of the single-photon radiative decay channels for these b-flavor vector mesons are estimated using their partial widths. In these considered decays, one can find that the semileptonic decays $B_{s}^{*0}\to D_{s}^{-}\ell^{\prime+}{\nu}_{\ell^\prime}$ and $B_{c}^{*+}\to B_{s}^{0}\ell^{\prime+}{\nu}_{\ell^\prime}, \eta_{c}\ell^{\prime+}{\nu}_{\ell^\prime}$, with $\ell^\prime$ being $e$ or $\tau$, and the nonleptonic channels $B_{c}^{*+}\to B^0_{s} \pi^{+}, B^0_{s} \rho^{+}$ have the largest branching ratios, which can reach up to the $10^{-7}$ order, and are most likely to be accessible at the future high-luminosity LHCb and Belle-II experiments., Comment: 30 pages, 4 figures,accepted for publication in Chin. Along with the advancements in artificial intelligence technologies, image-to-point-cloud registration (I2P) techniques have made significant strides. Nevertheless, the dimensional differences in the features of points cloud (three-dimension) and image (two-dimension) continue to pose considerable challenges to their development. The primary challenge resides in the inability to leverage the features of one modality to augment those of another, thereby complicating the alignment of features within the latent space. To address this challenge, we propose an image-to-point-cloud method named as TFCT-I2P. Initially, we introduce a Three-Stream Fusion Network (TFN), which integrates color information from images with structural information from point clouds, facilitating the alignment of features from both modalities. Subsequently, to effectively mitigate patch-level misalignments introduced by the inclusion of color information, we design a Color-Aware Transformer (CAT). Finally, we conduct extensive experiments on 7Scenes, RGB-D Scenes V2, ScanNet V2, and a self-collected dataset. The results demonstrate that TFCT-I2P surpasses state-of-the-art methods by 1.5% in Inlier Ratio, 0.4% in Feature Matching Recall, and 5.4% in Registration Recall. Therefore, we believe that the proposed TFCT-I2P contributes to the advancement of I2P registration.

Optical imaging systems are generally limited by the depth of field because of the nature of the optics. Therefore, extending depth of field (EDoF) is a fundamental task for meeting the requirements of emerging visual applications. To solve this task, the common practice is using multi-focus images from a single viewpoint. This method can obtain acceptable quality of EDoF under the condition of fixed field of view, but it is only applicable to static scenes and the field of view is limited and fixed. An emerging data type, varifocal multiview images have the potential to become a new paradigm for solving the EDoF, because the data contains more field of view information than multi-focus images. To realize EDoF of varifocal multiview images, we propose an end-to-end method for the EDoF, including image alignment, image optimization and image fusion. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

4D occupancy forecasting is one of the important techniques for autonomous driving, which can avoid potential risk in the complex traffic scenes. Scene flow is a crucial element to describe 4D occupancy map tendency. However, an accurate scene flow is difficult to predict in the real scene. In this paper, we find that BEV scene flow can approximately represent 3D scene flow in most traffic scenes. And coarse BEV scene flow is easy to generate. Under this thought, we propose 4D occupancy forecasting method FSF-Net based on coarse BEV scene flow. At first, we develop a general occupancy forecasting architecture based on coarse BEV scene flow. Then, to further enhance 4D occupancy feature representation ability, we propose a vector quantized based Mamba (VQ-Mamba) network to mine spatial-temporal structural scene feature. After that, to effectively fuse coarse occupancy maps forecasted from BEV scene flow and latent features, we design a U-Net based quality fusion (UQF) network to generate the fine-grained forecasting result. Extensive experiments are conducted on public Occ3D dataset. FSF-Net has achieved IoU and mIoU 9.56% and 10.87% higher than state-of-the-art method. Hence, we believe that proposed FSF-Net benefits to the safety of autonomous driving.

Just like other heavy flavor mesons, the weak decays of $D^*_{(s)}$ mesons can also provide a platform to check the Standard Model (SM), explore new physics (NP) and understand the mechanisms of weak interactions. At present, the theoretical and experimental researches on $D^*_{(s)}$ mesons are relatively limited. In addition to the dominant electromagnetic decays, the $D^*_{(s)}$ weak decays should also be feasible to explore the $D^*_{(s)}$ mesons. In this paper, we use the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM) to study the branching ratios of the semi-leptonic decays $D^*_{(s)}\to P\ell^{+}\nu_{\ell}$ and the non-leptonic decays $D^*_{(s)}\to PP, PV$ with $P=\pi, K, \eta^{(\prime)}, V=\rho, K^*, \phi$ and $\ell=e, \mu$, which are within the range $10^{-13}\sim 10^{-6}$. Among these decays, the channels $D_{s}^{*+}\to\eta \ell^{+}\nu_{\ell}$ and $D^{*+}_{s}\to \eta\rho^{+}$ possess the largest branching ratios, which can reach up to $10^{-6}$ order. These decays are most likely to be accessible at the future high-luminosity experiments. One can find that the branching ratios $\mathcal{B}r(D_{s}^{*+}\to\eta \ell^{+}\nu_{\ell})=1.46\times10^{-6}$ and $\mathcal{B}r(D_{s}^{*+}\to\eta \rho^{+})=1.04\times10^{-6}$ correspond to tens of thousands of events in the $e^+e^-$ collider experiments, such as the STCF, CEPC and FCC-ee, and tens of millions of events at the HL-LHC. In a word, it is feasible to study the $D^*_{(s)}$ meson weak decays in the future experiments. In this work, we investigate the form factors of the transitions $B_{(s)} \to D_{0}^{\ast}(2300),D_{s0}^{\ast}(2317),$ $ D_{s1}(2460) $ and $ D_{s1}(2536)$ in the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM), where these final states are considered as P-wave excited charmed mesons. In order to obtain the form factors for the physical transition processes, we need to extend these form factors from the space-like region to the time-like region. The $q^{2}$-dependence for each transition form factor is also plotted. Then, combined with those form factors, the branching ratios of the two-body nonleptonic decays $B_{(s)}\to D^*_{(s)0}(2300,2317)M, D_{s1}(2460,2536)M$ with $M$ being a light pseudoscalar (vector) meson or a charmed meson are calculated by considering the QCD radiative corrections to the hadronic matrix elements with the QCD factorization approach. Large-scale pre-trained models have demonstrated impressive performance in vision and language tasks within open-world scenarios. Due to the lack of comparable pre-trained models for 3D shapes, recent methods utilize language-image pre-training to realize zero-shot 3D shape recognition. However, due to the modality gap, pretrained language-image models are not confident enough in the generalization to 3D shape recognition. Consequently, this paper aims to improve the confidence with view selection and hierarchical prompts. Leveraging the CLIP model as an example, we employ view selection on the vision side by identifying views with high prediction confidence from multiple rendered views of a 3D shape. On the textual side, the strategy of hierarchical prompts is proposed for the first time. The first layer prompts several classification candidates with traditional class-level descriptions, while the second layer refines the prediction based on function-level descriptions or further distinctions between the candidates. Remarkably, without the need for additional training, our proposed method achieves impressive zero-shot 3D classification accuracies of 84.44%, 91.51%, and 66.17% on ModelNet40, ModelNet10, and ShapeNet Core55, respectively. Furthermore, we will make the code publicly available to facilitate reproducibility and further research in this area.

In addition to the strong and electromagnetic decay modes, the $\psi(1S,2S)$ and $\eta_{c}(1S,2S)$ can also decay via the weak interaction. Such weak decays can be detected by the high-luminosity heavy-flavor experiments. At present, some of the semileptonic and nonleptonic $J/\Psi$ weak decays have been measured at BESIII. Researching for these charmonium weak decays to $D_{(s)}$ meson can provide a platform to check of the standard model (SM) and probe new physics (NP). So we investigate the semileptonic and nonleptonic weak decays of $\psi(1S,2S)$ and $\eta_{c}(1S,2S)$ to $D_{(s)}$ within the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM). With form factors of the transitions $\psi(1S,2S)\to D_{(s)}$ and $\eta_{c}(1S,2S)\to D_{(s)}$ calculated under the CLFQM, we predict and discuss some physical observables, such as the branching ratios, the longitudinal polarizations $f_{L}$ and the forward-backward asymmetries $A_{FB}$. One can find that the Cabibbo-favored semi-leptonic decay channels $\psi(1S,2S)\to D_{s}^{-}\ell^{+}\nu_{\ell}$ with $\ell=e,\mu$ and the nonleptonic decay modes $\psi(1S,2S)\to D_{s}^{-}\rho^{+}$ have relatively large branching ratios of the order $\mathcal{O}(10^{-9})$, which are most likely to be accessible at the future high-luminosity experiments., Comment: 26 pages, 4 figures

In this work, we investigate the semileptonic decays of $B_{c}$ meson to $\eta_{c}(1S,2S,3S)$, $\psi(1S,2S,3S)$ and $X(3872)$ within the framework of covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM). We combine the helicity amplitudes via the corresponding form factors to obtain the branching ratios of the semileptonic decays $B_{c}\to \eta_{c}(1S, 2S, 3S)\ell\nu_{\ell}$, $B_{c}\to \psi(1S, 2S, 3S))\ell\nu_{\ell}$ and $B_{c}\to X(3872)\ell\nu_{\ell}$ with $\ell=e,\mu,\tau$. In view of the $R_{J/\Psi}$ anomaly released by the LHCb collaboration, it is necessary to calculate the ratios $R_X$ with $X=\psi(1S,2S,3S),\eta_c(1S,2S,3S),X(3872)$ systematically, which are helpful to check the lepton flavor universality (LFU). Furthermore, we also take into account another two physical observables, one is the longitudinal polarization fraction $f_{L}$ and the other is the forward-backward asymmetry $A_{FB}$, which can provide new clues to understand the $R_{J /\Psi}$ anomaly. In this work we study the quasi-two-body decays $B_c \to \ K^{*} h \to K \pi h (h = D, D_s, K, \pi, \eta, \eta')$ in the perturbative QCD (PQCD) approach. The two-meson distribution amplitudes (DAs) $\Phi^{\text{P-wave}}_{K\pi}$ are introduced to describe the final state interactions of the K \pi pair, which involve the time-like form factors F_{K\pi}(s) parameterized by the relativistic Breit-Wigner function and the Gegenbauer polynomials. We calculate the branching ratios for these quasi-two-body decays, from which one can obtain the branching raios for the corresponding two-body decays under the narrow width approximation relation. We find that $B^+_c\to K^{*+}D^0$ and $B^+_c\to K^{*0}D^+$ have the largest branching ratios, which can reach up to $10^{-6}$, while the branching ratios for other two-body decays are very small and only about $10^{-8}\sim10^{-7}$. As we expected that the branching ratios of the pure annihilation decays are usually small, while in our considered such type of decays, the channel $B_c^+ \to \bar K^{*0}K^{+}$ has the largest branching ratio, which is near $10^{-6}$. These results are consistent with the previously PQCD calculations obtained in the two-body framework, which can be tested by the future LHCb experiments. For the decays $B_c^+ \to K^{*+} D^{0}\to K^{0}\pi^+D^{0} , B_c^+ \to K^{*0}D^{+}\to K^{+}\pi^-D^{+}$ and $B_c^+ \to \bar K^{*0}D_s^{+}\to K^{-}\pi^+D_s^{+}$, we calculate their direct CP violations and find that $A_{CP}(B_c^+ \to K^{*+}D^{0}\to K^{0}\pi^+D^{0})=(-14.6_{-1.12}^{+9.19})\%$ is the largest one, which is possible measured by the present LHCb experiments. For the pure annihilation type decays, there is no CP violations because only the tree operators are involved. Furthermore, we also give the differential distributions of the branching ratios and the direct CP violations for the decays $B_c\to K^* D_{(s)}\to K \pi D_{(s)}$., Comment: 15 pages, 3 figures, 2 tables

In this work, we investigate the form factors of $B_c$ decays into $J/\Psi, \psi(2S,3S)$, $\eta_c, \eta_c(2S,3S), \chi_{c0}, \chi_{c1}, h_c$ and $X(3872)$ mesons in the covariant light-front quark model (CLFQM). For the purpose of the branching ratio calculation, the form factors of $B_c\to D^{(*)}, D^{(*)}_s$ transitions are also included. In order to obtain the form factors for the physical transition processes, we need extend these form factors from the space-like region to the time-like region. The $q^2$-dependence for each transition form factor is also plotted. Then, under the factorization method, we calculate the branching ratios of 80 $B_c$ decay channels with a charmonium involved in each mode. Most of our predictions are comparable with the results given by most of other approaches. As to the decays with the radially excited state S-wave charmonia, such as $\psi(2S,3S)$ and $\eta_c(2S,3S)$, involved, there are two sets of parameters for their light-front wave functions, corresponding to scenario I (SI) and scenario II (SII), are adopted to calculate the branching ratios. Within a transport model, we study the neutron-proton differential transverse flow and its excitation function in central $^{132}$Sn + $^{124}$Sn collisions at 270 MeV/nucleon. To more accurately evaluate effects of the high-density behavior of symmetry energy \esym on this observable, we also consider the uncertainties of \esym around the saturation density $\rho_{0}$. It is shown that the neutron-proton differential transverse flow and its excitation function are mainly sensitive to the slope $L$ of \esym at $\rho_{0}$. However, the effects of low-density behavior of \esym on this observable should also be considered. Therefore, it is suggested that measurements of the neutron-proton differential transverse flow and its excitation function may provide useful complements to the constraints on $L$ extracted from the spectral pion ratio in S$\pi$RIT experiments., Comment: 6 pages, 7figures.Accepted for publication in Physical Review C

This paper presents several component prototypes towards a low-latency, small-form-factor optical link designed for the ATLAS Liquid Argon Calorimeter Phase-I trigger upgrade. A prototype of the custom-made dual-channel optical transmitter module, the Miniature optical Transmitter (MTx), with separate transmitter optical sub-assemblies (TOSAs) has been demonstrated at data rates up to 8 Gbps per channel. A Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) driver ASIC has been developed and is used in the current MTx prototypes. A serializer ASIC prototype, operating at up to 8 Gbps per channel, has been designed and tested. A low-latency, low-overhead encoder ASIC prototype has been designed and tested. The latency of the whole link, including the transmitter latency and the receiver latency but not the latency of the fiber, is estimated to be less than 57.9 ns.
