Abstract

Aiming at the problem of precision driving and vibration suppression for sensitive payloads on-orbit, this paper proposes a new compliant platform based on an embedded superstructure and a smart material actuator. Firstly, the main structure of the platform is designed and optimized to achieve the expected indicators via the response surface method. Then, the vibration reduction mechanism of the platform with the embedded superstructure is studied by establishing an equivalent model. Following that, a four-phase superstructure is matched and designed with a compact space, and the results are verified by finite element modal analysis. Finally, both the tensioning performance and vibration reduction performance under fixed frequency harmonic disturbance are studied via transient dynamic simulation. Based on the obtained results, directions for future improvements are proposed. Abstract

Thirteen ternary complexes of pyruvic acid isonicotinoyl hydrazone(H2PPFH) and 5-fluorouracil-1- acetic (HFAA) with rare earths have been synthesized in the paper. The structure and properties of the ternary complexes were determined by elemental analyses, infrared and ultraviolet spectra, molar conductivity and 1H NMR. A general formula of the complexes is RE(PPFH)(FAA)2H2O (RE(III) = La–Yb). Antitumor activity of La(PPFH) (FAA) 2H2O was tested with Leukaemia cells L1210 and transplanted mouse tumor colon cancer C27. The results show that the inhibitory rate for C27 is 41.2%.

Abstract

Thirteen new solid complexes of 5-fluorouracilacetic acid (FAA) with rare earth metals (RE) have been synthesized. Elemental analysis, IR, UV spectra, TG-DTA, conductance measurements and 1H NMR spectra have been used to characterise them. The general formula of the complexes is Ln (FAA)3·2H2O (Ln = La → Yb, Pm not included). The anticarcinogenic activity of La(FAA)3·2H2O was tested. The results obtained showed that the survival period of mice which had been transplanted with ascites carcinoma (HepA) and then treated with the La complex can be prolonged to 235% of the control but the ligand alone snowed little anticarcinogenic activity. Some 42% of EC cancer cell growth can be inhibited by the La complex. The LD50 is 500 mg kg−1.

Abstract

A hydrazone ligand (H2PAPH) derived from pyruvic acid and 4-pyridine carboxylic acid hydrazide and its manganese(II) complex have been synthesized and X-ray diffraction analysis of the complex was carried out. The crystal is monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, with unit-cell dimensions a = 11.252(1), b = 9.828(2), c = 13.708(2) angstrom, beta = 66.03(1)-degrees and V = 1385.2 angstrom-3, Z = 4, D(c) = 2.812 g cm-3, F(000) = 1216, mu(Mo-K-alpha) = 18.506 cm-1. The structure was solved by the heavy-atom technique from 2417 observed, independent reflections recorded at 293 K and refined to a final R = 0.028. The manganese atom has a distorted octahedral coordination with two trans water molecules in axial sites and an NO3 donor set from hydrazone ligands (H2PAPH) in the equatorial plane. The complex has a polymeric structure. The crystal structure also contains 2.5 water molecules of crystallization, which are involved in a hydrogen-bonding network in the crystal packing. The complex has been also characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectra.

Abstract

The three-dimensional porous Fe3O4@Cu2−xS–MoS2 framework is reported for the first time. The as-prepared 3D framework exhibits good structural stability, high surface area, enhanced adsorption capacity to substrates, and strong absorption in the NIR range. As a result, such hybrid frameworks exhibit excellent NIR-light photocatalytic activity and stable cycling for the direct arylation of heteroaromatics at room temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
