Abstract Background Molecular biology has been applied to the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of various diseases, and long noncoding RNA LINC00943 (lncRNA LINC00943; LINC00943) plays an important role in a variety of cancers. Therefore, this study explored the prognostic role of LINC00943 in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) and understood its impact on the development of LUSC. Methods There are 89 LUSC patients were involved in current assay. By detecting the expression of LINC00943 and miR-196b-5p in tissues and cells, LINC00943 and its correlation with the characteristics of clinical data were analyzed. The biological function of LINC00943 was studied by Transwell migration and invasion assays. In addition, Pearson correlation coefficient and luciferase activity experiments were chosen to characterize the relationship between LINC00943 and miR-196b-5p and explore the mechanism of LINC00943. Results Compared with normal controls, LINC00943 expression in LUSC tissues and cells was significantly reduced, miR-196b-5p was markedly increased, there was a negative correlation between LINC00943 and miR-196b-5p. According to the in vitro cell experiments, migration and invasion of LUSC cells were suppressed by overexpression of LINC00943. Besides, LINC00943 was demonstrated to have prognostic power and targeting miR-196b-5p was involved in the progression of LUSC. Conclusions Overexpression of LINC00943 was molecular sponge for miR-196b-5p that controlled the deterioration of LUSC, which had great potential as a prognostic biomarker for LUSC.

Abstract Objective We aimed to evaluate the sputum culture conversion time of DR-TB patients and its related factors. Methods PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Embase, CINAHL, Web of Science, CNKI, Wan Fang, CBM and VIP databases were electronically searched to collect studies on sputum culture conversion time in patients with DR-TB. Meta-analysis was performed by using the R 4.3.0 version and Stata 16 software. Results A total of 45 studies involving 17373 patients were included. Meta-analysis results showed that the pooled median time to sputum culture conversion was 68.57 days (IQR 61.01,76.12). The median time of sputum culture conversion in patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis was different in different WHO regions, countries with different levels of development and different treatment schemes. Flavonoids are widely found in plants and diets and are considered to possess a variety of biological activities. Therefore, in this study, 8 novel compounds derivating from the precursor compound 1a, were designed and synthesized, and their activities against ulcerative colitis(UC) were evaluated to provide the most active molecule 2d. Both a cellular inflammation model by LPS(Lipopolysaccharide)-induced RAW 264.7 cells and the UC model in 2 % Dextran Sulfate Sodium(DSS) intragastrically injected mice were established and employed to detect and validate the effects and mechanisms of compound 2d on ulcerative colitis. Cell experiments showed that compound 2d possesses the best anti-UC activity among all derivatives (2a-d, 3a-d). Compound 2d could significantly inhibit the release of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β and IL-8 in RAW264.7 cells induced by LPS at 10 μM. RAW264.7 cells. In vivo experiments further demonstrated that compound 2d could effectively treat UC in mice induced by DSS. The results indicated that compound 2d restored MPO oxidative stress, reduced the secretion of inflammatory factors, and regulated the expression of NF-κB and MAPK pathway-related proteins, which was consistent with the results at the cellular level. The results of the relevant intestinal flora showed that compound 2d could normalize the intestinal flora of mice with ulcerative colitis. In summary, compound 2d may inhibit inflammation and oxidative stress by regulating NF-κB and MAPK pathways, and restore the diversity of intestinal microbiota to treat ulcerative colitis. It provides a new approach for the clinical application of flavonoids.

Agricultural water resources consumption and soil salinity interact with the distribution of radiation energy in arid salinized farmland. Understanding the temporal changes in energy distribution is necessary to enhance water resource use efficiency. Based on two years of monitoring the energy fluxes in a salinized sunflower field, it was found that field energy fluxes were dependent on available energy, and the temporal dynamics of energy distribution was strongly influenced by crop growth. As expected, soil moisture and meteorological conditions were the main factors limiting latent heat (LE) fluxes in the relatively dry year, with leaf area index showing a more significant positive correlation with LE under abundant soil moisture. Furthermore, path analysis revealed that soil moisture affected energy distribution at budding and flowering stages through the negative regulation of soil surface heat fluxes and the positive regulation of LE. The accumulation of soil salt decreased LE (with Pearson correlation coefficient of −0.59 and a total effect of −0.55), and positive regulated sensible heat (with Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.27 and a total effect of 0.31). Additionally, approximately 40% of actual evapotranspiration was contributed by groundwater, potentially influencing energy fluxes. Moreover, a negative correlation was observed between surface albedo and salinity, which might be another pathway influencing energy distribution. Our findings are important to understand energy distribution and water consumption during the crop growth period in salinized field in arid area.

Soil pressure in clay formation tunnels is closely related to soil arch effect and the development of slip surfaces. Firstly, numerical simulation software is used to simulate the actual situation of tunnel excavation, and the change rule of the slip-cracking surface of cohesive soil is analyzed. Secondly, based on the numerical simulation results and the ellipsoid theory, the pressure formula of Terzaghi loose Earth is modified considering that the principal stress trace is catenary. Finally, the calculation results are compared with the finite element calculation results to verify the rationality of the formula in this paper. The relationship between the internal friction angle, cohesion force c, eccentricity ε, looseness coefficient β, and the pressure of loose Earth is further studied. The results show that there is a gap between the sliding crack angles with or without dilatancy angle and it will affect the development form of soil arch. The slip angle decreases gradually with the increase of the buried depth ratio H/D and becomes stable when the buried depth ratio H/D≥3. Compared with deep-buried tunnels, the increase of internal friction angle in the shallow-buried tunnel is more conducive to reducing the overlying soil pressure. The loose soil pressure decreases with the increase of eccentricity ε and loose coefficient β, and the influence of eccentricity ε on loose soil pressure is significantly greater than that of loose coefficient β. Therefore, the change of eccentricity ε should be paid close attention in the project.

Pentatrichomonas hominis is a trichomonad protozoan that infects the cecum and colon of humans and other mammals. It is a zoonotic pathogen that causes diarrhea in both animals and humans. As companion animals, dogs infected with P. hominis pose a risk of transmitting it to humans. Current methods, such as direct smears and polymerase chain reaction (PCR), used for P. hominis detection have limitations, including low detection rates and the need for specialized equipment. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop rapid, sensitive, and simple detection methods for clinical application. Recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) has emerged as a technology for rapid pathogen detection. In this study, we developed a lateral flow dipstick (LFD)-RPA method based on the highly conserved SPO11-1 gene for detecting P. hominis infection by optimizing the primers, probes, and reaction conditions, and evaluating cross-reactivity with genomes of Giardia duodenalis and other parasites. The LFD-RPA method was then used to test 128 dog fecal samples collected from Changchun. The results confirmed the high specificity of the method with no cross-reactivity with the five other parasites. The lowest detection limit of the method was 102 copies/µL, and its sensitivity was 100 times higher than that of the conventional PCR method. Consistent with the positivity rate observed using nested PCR, 12 samples (out of 128) tested positive using this method (positivity rate, 9.38%). In conclusion, the LFD-RPA method developed in this study represents a simple and sensitive assay that allows for the rapid detection of P. hominis infection in dogs, especially in this field.

Due to the complexity of construction sequence and the extended duration required to construct super large section tunnels, the selection of excavation method critically influences the stability of the surrounding rock and support structures. In this work, the Xiaoyuan Tunnel project in Jiangxi Province serves as the research background for employing ABAQUS software to simulate the variations in displacement and stress within the rock and support structures under three different excavation methods. The simulated results are subsequently compared and verified against monitoring data. The findings indicate that the three-benching seven-step method releases more stress (maximum principal stress value reaches 0.621 MPa) from the surrounding rock and support structures than the other methods, resulting in stress concentrations. Therefore, it is of vital significance to complete the initial support in time and seal the tunnel opening quickly. The maximum principal stress values caused by three excavation methods all appear at the arch foot position, highlighting the need for prompt reinforcement of stability support there. Compared to the CRD method and the three-benching seven-step method, the tunnel vault’s settlement value caused by the double-side drift method is reduced by 14% and 19%, respectively. Furthermore, the largest disturbance of the surrounding rock occurs under the CRD method, while the double-side drift method minimizes such disturbances, making it the preferred choice for the construction of super large section tunnels. These insights are invaluable for guiding the selection and optimization of construction methods for such tunnels.

A large number of experimental studies have demonstrated that the permeability and damage of rock are not constant but rather functionally dependent on stresses or stress-induced deformation. Neglecting the influence of damage and permeability evolution on rock mechanics and sealing properties can result in an overestimation of the safety and stability of underground engineering, leading to an incomplete assessment of the risks associated with surrounding rock failure. To address this, the damage and permeability evolution functions of rock under compression were derived through a combination of experimental results and theoretical analysis, unifying the relationship between porosity and permeability in both porous media flow and fractured flow. Based on this, a fluid–solid coupled seepage model considering rock damage and permeability evolution was proposed. More importantly, this model was utilized to investigate the behavior of deformation, damage, and permeability, as well as their coupled effects. The model’s validity was verified by comparing its numerical results with experimental data. The analysis results show that the evolution of permeability and porosity resulted from a competitive interaction between effective mean stress and stress-induced damage. When the effective mean stress was dominant, the permeability tended to decrease; otherwise, it followed an increasing trend. The damage evolution was primarily related to stress- and pressure-induced crack growth and irreversible deformation. Additionally, the influence of the seepage pressure on the strength, damage, and permeability of the investigated rock was evaluated. The model results reveal the damage and permeability evolution of the rock under compression, which has a certain guiding significance for the stability and safety analysis of rock in underground engineering.

The prediction of the health status of critical components is an important influence in making accurate maintenance decisions for rotating equipment. Since vibration signals contain a large amount of fault information, they can more accurately describe the health status of critical components. Therefore, it is widely used in the field of rotating equipment health state prediction. However, there are two major problems in predicting the health status of key components based on vibration signals: (1) The working environment of rotating equipment is harsh, and if only one feature in the time or frequency domain is selected for fault analysis, it will be susceptible to harsh operating environments and cannot completely reflect the fault information. (2) The vibration signals are unlabeled time series data, which are difficult to accurately convert into the health status of key components. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a combined prediction model combining a bidirectional long- and short-term memory network (BiLSTM), a self-organizing neural network (SOM) and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Firstly, the SOM is utilized to fuse the fault characteristics of multiple vibration signals of key components to obtain an indicator (HI) that can reflect the health status of rotating equipment and to also compensate for the vulnerability of single signal characteristics in the time or frequency domain to environmental influences. Secondly, the K-means clustering method is employed to cluster the health indicators and determine the health state, which solves the problem of determining the health of a component from unsupervised vibration signal data which is quite difficult. Finally, the particle swarm optimized BiLSTM model is used to predict the health state of key components and the bearing dataset from the IEEE PHM 2012 Data Challenge verifies the method’s effectiveness and validity.

Although the maximum carboxylation rate (Vcmax) is an important parameter to calculate the photosynthesis rate for the terrestrial biosphere models (TBMs), current models could not satisfactorily estimate the Vcmax of a crop because the Vcmax is always changing during crop growth period. In this study, the Breathing Earth System Simulator (BESS) and light response curve (LRC) were combined to invert the time-continuous Vm25 (Vcmax normalized to 25 °C) using eddy covariance measurements and remote sensing data in five maize sites. Based on the inversion results, we propose a Two-stage linear model using leaf age to estimate crop Vm25. The leaf age can be readily calculated from the date of emergence, which is usually recorded or can be readily calculated from the leaf area index (LAI), which can be readily obtained from high spatiotemporal resolution remote sensing images. The Vm25 used to calibrate and validate our model was inversely solved by combining the BESS and LRC and using eddy covariance measurements and remote sensing data in five maize sites. Our Two-stage linear model (R2 = 0.71–0.88, RMSE = 5.40–7.54 μmol m−2 s−1) performed better than the original BESS (R2 = 0.01–0.67, RMSE = 13.25–18.93 μmol m−2 s−1) at capturing the seasonal variation in the Vm25 of all of the five maize sites. Our Two-stage linear model can also significantly improve the accuracy of maize gross primary productivity (GPP) at all of the five sites. The GPP estimated using our Two-stage linear model (underestimated by 0.85% on average) is significantly better than that estimated by the original BESS model (underestimated by 12.60% on average). Overall, our main contributions are as follows: (1) by using the BESS model instead of the BEPS model coupled with the LRC, the inversion of Vm25 took into account the photosynthesis process of C4 plants; (2) the maximum value of Vm25 (i.e., PeakVm25) during the growth and development of maize was calibrated; and (3) by using leaf age as a predictor of Vm25, we proposed a Two-stage linear model to calculate Vm25, which improved the estimation accuracy of GPP.

In recent years, HRB400 and HTRB600 steel bars have become the mainstream standard reinforcing steel used in concrete structures in China. However, significant controversy still exists regarding the selection of material constitutive models and the determination of model parameters for buckling, fatigue, hysteresis, and other material characteristics. In this article, an automated process of multi-parameter calculation of the constitutive model for reinforcing steel – simulation accuracy evaluation of the constitutive model – selection of the constitutive model of reinforcing steel is established based on the hybrid programming method using MATLAB and OpenSees software. First, tensile and low-cycle fatigue tests were carried out on HRB400 and HTRB600 steel bars. Second, based on the constitutive model in OpenSees software and the skeleton curve and characteristics such as yielding, fatigue, and hysteresis, the constitutive model parameters of HRB400 and HTRB600 steel bars are determined using indirect and direct fitting methods. Finally, the five similarity parameters of the simulated normalized cumulative hysteretic energy dissipation coefficient are compared with the test results. The results indicate that the simulation accuracy of the Reinforcing Steel model exceeds 72%, which is higher than other four models, making it the best choice for reinforcing steel in numerical simulation.

Real time status of farmland hydrology and crop growth is essential for agricultural management. Data assimilation is a common method to improve the prediction accuracy of the model by fusing observed and simulated data. For the farmland hydrological processes, evapotranspiration (ET) and net ecosystem productivity (NEP) are widely concerned and strongly affected by crop growth and soil moisture. In this study, data assimilation for soil water content (SWC) and leaf area index (LAI) was combined with a coupled farmland hydrological model, and the potential of Kalman filter (KF) and ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF) methods to enhance model accuracy were explored. Furthermore, the impact of observation density of assimilated data and different assimilation strategies (single-factor or dual-factor assimilation) were analyzed. The findings revealed that both KF and EnKF methods effectively improved the simulation ability of SWC and LAI. When assimilation was performed daily, KF could obtain results comparable to EnKF with assimilation efficiency coefficient (Eff) exceeded 70%. However, with a reduced assimilation frequency for LAI to ten-day interval, EnKF exhibited superior applicability, demonstrating a 13% increase in Eff. The assimilation of soil moisture could positively affect the simulation results of ET with Eff close to 10%, and the assimilation of LAI could improve the simulation accuracy of NEP with Eff close to 15%. Overall, dual-factor assimilation proved to have a more substantial impact than single-factor, even reducing the frequency to ten-day interval. The sensitivity analysis showed that the coupling model could resist the influence of the preset observation error in the filter, with data assimilation effectively mitigating the influence of parameter errors in coupling model. These analyses supply an effective basis to deepen the understanding of improve real time simulation accuracy of farmland hydrological model with data assimilation.

In order to accurately and efficiently assess the impact of tunnel excavation on overlying existing pipeline, an analytical method is proposed to solve this problem. First, the vertical free displacement of the surrounding soil due to tunnel excavation can be derived by the Loganathan formula. Next, the overlying existing pipeline can be treated as a Timoshenko beam resting on the Vlasov foundation model, and the influence of the surrounding soil on the both sides of the existing pipeline is taken into consideration. Finally, an analytical solution for the longitudinal deformation of the existing pipeline can be obtained by using the integral method. Case analysis results demonstrate that the calculated results of this method closely in line with measured data. Compared to the degenerate analytical solution given by this method, the result from this method is more consistent with the measured data. Further parameter studies show that the volume loss rate, diameter of new tunnel, skew angle, and vertical distance between tunnel and pipeline are significant factors affecting the existing pipeline response due to tunneling underlying.

[Abstract]: [Objective]: To analyze the main syndrome types, medication rules, and core prescription characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of metabolism-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), and to predict the anti-MAFLD mechanism of core formula, so as to provide references for the clinical application of TCM and the development of new drugs. [Methods]: Literature research on TCM in treating MAFLD was retrieved from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP), and Wanfang Database since the establishment of the database to July 2022. Excel 2019 and Chinese Medicine Inheritance Computing Platform (V3.0) were used for frequency analysis, association rule analysis, and cluster analysis of effective prescriptions. The key components, targets, and action pathways of anti-MAFLD core formulas were predicted by network pharmacology. Finally, the interactions between the obtained core components and their core targets were verified reversely by molecular docking technology. [Results]: A total of 218 articles were screened and selected, including 352 prescriptions, involving 270 traditional Chinese herbs. The drugs were used a total of 3 901 times, and a total of 10 915 cases were collected, among which the prevalence rate was higher in males. The main types of TCM syndrome included intermingled phlegm and blood stasis syndrome, liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome, and damp-heat in liver and gallbladder syndrome, among which Shanzha (Crataegi Fructus), Danshen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix), and Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) were the most frequently used. The properties of Chinese medicine primarily encompassed thermal characteristics, with a predominant emphasis on cold and warm; the flavors of herbs were predominantly characterized by bitterness and sweetness, while the majority exhibited tropism towards the spleen and liver meridians. The drugs were primarily classified based on their efficacy in tonifying deficiencies, promoting diuresis and moistening, enhancing blood circulation and removing blood stasis, heat-clearing, etc. The association rules were employed to derive a set of 20 core drug pairs, while cluster analysis was utilized to identify three distinct groups of core drug combinations. Network pharmacological showed that the main components of the core formula “Shanzha (Crataegi Fructus) - Danshen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) - Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma) - Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) - Fuling (Poria)” in the treatment of MAFLD were quercetin, apigenin, puerarin, luteolin, ursolic acid, kaempferol, tanshinone IIA, emodin, paeonol, etc., which involved RAC-alpha serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (AKT1), cellular tumor antigen p53 (TP53), interleukin (IL)-6, IL-1β, signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), peroxisome proliferative activated receptor gamma (PPARG), and other key targets. The molecular docking results showed that the core components had good binding to lipid and atherosclerosis, and phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase (PI3K)/AKT signaling pathway-associated proteins. [Conclusion]: The main principles of TCM for the treatment of MAFLD involve soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen, eliminating phlegm and dampness, clearing heat and dampness, as well as promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. The core formula may exert anti-MAFLD effects mediated through multiple components, targets, and signaling pathways. This study establishes a theoretical foundation for the clinical application of TCM in the treatment of MAFLD, and serves as a reference for further exploration of new drugs against MAFLD.

Abstract Crude oil pipelines are considered as the lifelines of energy industry. However, accidents of the pipelines can lead to severe public health and environmental concerns, in which greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, primarily methane, are frequently overlooked. While previous studies examined fugitive emissions in normal operation of crude oil pipelines, emissions resulting from accidents were typically managed separately and were therefore not included in the emission account of oil systems. To bridge this knowledge gap, we employed a bottom-up approach to conducted the first-ever inventory of GHG emissions resulting from crude oil pipeline accidents in the United States at the state level from 1968 to 2020, and leveraged Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the associated uncertainties. Our results reveal that GHG emissions from accidents in gathering pipelines (~720,000 tCO2e) exceed those from transmission pipelines (~290,000 tCO2e), although significantly more accidents have occurred in transmission pipelines (6883 cases) than gathering pipelines (773 cases). Texas accounted for over 40% of total accident-related GHG emissions nationwide. Our study contributes to enhanced accuracy of the GHG account associated with crude oil transport and implementing the data-driven climate mitigation strategies.

The time-dependent interfacial adhesion between rock and fresh mortar is key for printing concrete linings in mountain tunnels. However, a scientific deficit exists in the time-dependent evolution of the interfacial adhesion, which can cause adhesion failure when printing tunnel lining. Nanoclay has the potential to increase the interfacial adhesion and eliminate the adhesion failure. Before the actual printing of tunnel linings, the time-dependent interfacial adhesion between artificial rock and fresh mortar modified by nanoclay should be understood. This paper studied the time-dependent interfacial adhesion based on fast tack tests, fast shear tests, and isothermal calorimetry tests. With the addition of nanoclay, the maximum tensile stress and the maximum shear stress increased. Compared with a reference series, the maximum interfacial tensile stress in a 0.3% nanoclay series increased by 106% (resting time 1 min) and increased by 209% (resting time 32 min). A two-stage evolution of the interfacial adhesion was found with the addition of nanoclay. In the first stage, the time-dependent interfacial adhesion increased rapidly. A 0.3% NC series showed an increase rate six times higher than that of the reference series. As the matrices aged, the increase rate slowed down and followed a linear pattern of increase, still higher than that of the reference series. The stiffening of fresh matrices resulted in the interface failure mode transition from a ductile failure to a brittle failure. The effect of nanoclay on flocculation and on accelerating the hydration contributed to the time-dependent interfacial adhesion between artificial rock and fresh mortar.

Commercial vehicle disk brakes operate at a high-temperature and in a heavy-load environment within the braking system. The primary cause of failure is the cracking of the brake disk. In order to study its fatigue damage and service life, a finite element model of disk brake fatigue life was established, and thermal stress coupling simulation analysis was carried out from a practical problem. Based on the temperature and stress fields of the brake disk under emergency braking conditions obtained from the simulation results, the effects of vehicle load, initial speed, temperature, and other factors on brake fatigue life are explored. The fatigue life of the hazardous node can be calculated using the Manson–Coffin model, and then the strain–life (ɛ–N) curve of the material can be fit at high temperature. The fatigue life of brake disks was predicted using the fatigue analysis software FE-SAFE and verified by testing. The results showed that the maximum stress on the surface of the disk brake was the same as the area of the minimum fatigue life, accurately analyzing the fatigue life of the region and predicting the location of fatigue cracks. The results of the research can provide a reference for the design of disk brake engineering and fatigue failure.

Summary: Amino acids are required for cell growth and proliferation, but it remains unclear when and how amino acid availability impinges on the proliferation-quiescence decision. Here, we used time-lapse microscopy and single-cell tracking of cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) activity to assess the response of individual cells to withdrawal of single amino acids and found strikingly different cell-cycle effects depending on the amino acid. For example, upon leucine withdrawal, MCF10A cells complete two cell cycles and then enter a CDK2-low quiescence, whereas lysine withdrawal causes immediate cell-cycle stalling. Methionine withdrawal triggers a restriction point phenotype similar to serum starvation or Mek inhibition: upon methionine withdrawal, cells complete their current cell cycle and enter a CDK2-low quiescence after mitosis. Modulation of restriction point regulators p21/p27 or cyclin D1 enables short-term rescue of proliferation under methionine and leucine withdrawal, and to a lesser extent lysine withdrawal, revealing a checkpoint connecting nutrient signaling to cell-cycle entry.

A new class of 2-acetyl-1,3-diacyl-sn-glycerols (sn-2-acTAG) was found in the seed oil of Polygala previously. Its structure is very similar to sn-1,3-DAG, which has effect of preventing and treating hyperlipidemia and other diseases. In this study, sn-2-acTAG was enriched and confirmed, the safety and the hypolipidemic activity was assessed. In addition the mechanism of action was investigated. Our study indicated that a diet containing 20% sn-2-acTAG or lower was not toxic to SD rats. Compared to the soybean oil group, sn-2-acTAG could lower the total cholesterol, triglyceride, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels, as well as rise the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Sn-2-acTAG could regulate the expression of proinflammatory factors to ameliorate hyperlipidemia. In conclusion, sn-2-acTAG has for the first time been found to significantly ameliorate hyperlipidemia in the high-fat diet rat. This study will provide a strong theoretical support for the efficient development and application of Polygala seed oil.
