The current work is devoted to introduce a novel thermoelastic heat conduction model where the Moore-Gibson-Thompson (MGT) equation describes the heat equation. The constructed model is characterized by allowing limited velocities of heat wave propagation within the material, consistent with physical phenomena. The Green–Naghdi Type III model is improved by introducing the delay factor into the modified Fourier law. Also, from the presented model, some other models of thermoelasticity can be derived at specific states. Based on the suggested model, an infinite orthotropic material with a cylindrical hole exposed to time-dependent temperature variation was studied. It has also been considered that the coefficient of thermal conductivity varies with temperature, unlike in many other cases where this value is considered constant. The viscoelastic material of the investigated medium was assumed to be of the Kelvin–Voigt type. The Laplace transform method provides general solutions to the studied field variables equations. The effects of viscosity and thermal variability parameters on these fields are discussed and graphically presented. In addition, the numerical results were presented in tables, and a comparison with previous models was made to ensure the accuracy of the results of the proposed model.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between special education teacher candidates' selfefficacy beliefs and their technological pedagogical content knowledge levels. In this study, in which descriptive and relational research design was used, the participant group consisted of 446 special education teacher candidates from three universities. The Teacher Self-Efficacy Belief Scale (SSPS) and the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Scale (TPACKS) were used to collect the data. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS package program and using parametric tests. It has been observed that the academic competence dimension, which is one of the sub-dimensions of special education teacher candidates, differs significantly according to the age and class variables, and the vocational competence dimension differs significantly according to the gender variable. It was understood that the TPACK scores differed in favor of the older age and class according to the age and class variables. It has been reported that there is a positive and significant relationship between SAS scores and TPACK scores, and that TPACK mean scores explain 18% of self-efficacy beliefs. It has been concluded that as the education level and life experience of the special education teacher candidates are above the average, both self-efficacy belief and technology knowledge increase.

As a primary goal, the aim of this study is to examine the parental self-efficacy and marital adjustment levels of the parents of disabled individuals in terms of various variables and to examine the relationship between parental self-efficacy and marital adjustment, as well. Correlational survey model was used in the research. The participants of the study are parents of disabled children attending Special Education and Rehabilitation Centers (SERC) in Edirne, Tekirdag and Istanbul in the 2019-2020 academic year. In order to collect the data of this research, the parental self-efficacy scale, developed by Guimond, Moore, Aier, Maxon & Diken (2005) and adapted to Turkish by Aksoy & Diken (2007), whose reliability study was carried out by Cavkaytar, Aksoy & Ardic (2014) was used. Besides, the Marriage Adjustment Scale (MAS), which was developed by Locke & Wallace (1959) and adapted to Turkish by Tutarel Kislak (1999), was also used According to the results of the research, the self-efficacy levels of the parents were found to be average; and in terms of gender variable, no significant difference was observed from the male parents considering age, monthly income level, education level and the type of disability variable of the child. In addition, marital adjustment levels of the parents were detected to be low. There was a significant difference in marital adjustment levels in favor of male parents, in favor of parents with a low-income level, and in favor of secondary school graduate parents in the educational level variable. No significant difference was observed in terms of age and the child's disability type variable. According to the results of this study, a positive relationship was observed between self-efficacy and marital adjustment.

The aim of this study was to determine the views of secondary and high school students regarding the distance education activities carried out during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the blended learning activities conducted afterwards, and the post-pandemic back-to-school process. The study consisted of 982 students and was conducted utilizing the descriptive survey method, one of the quantitative research methods. Data were collected using the "Scale of Evaluating Instruction in Pandemic Process". The findings indicated that most of the students used smartphones alone for distance education during the pandemic process and most of them participated in distance education only via live lessons. In addition, no significant difference was found between genders with regard to students' satisfaction with the distance education process and their expectations. On the other hand, most of the students did not receive sufficient psychological and academic support during this process. It was also noted that the students with internet access were more satisfied with the instruction activities in this process and that their access to the internet and technologies were higher than the students without internet access. Based on our findings, we recommend that students should be provided with academic and psychological support, security precautions should be tightened in schools to minimize the effects of the pandemic, and equal opportunities should be provided to students regarding hardware and internet support.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effectiveness of the concept map presented by using augmented reality technology in the teaching of the basic features of animals to the 6th grade students with mild intellectual disability who benefit from inclusion interventions. Three students with mild intellectual disability who benefited from inclusion interventions participated in the research. One of the single-subject research models, the multiple probe design with probe conditions across subjects, was used in the study. While the dependent variable of the study is the level of learning the basic features of animals of students with intellectual disability, the independent variable of the research is the concept map method presented using augmented reality. The findings of the research shows that the concept map using augmented reality technology in teaching is effective in teaching the basic features of animals to the three participants who participated in the research. Besides, it was observed that the participants retained the basic features of the animals they learned one, three and four weeks after the end of the intervention, and exhibited what they learned when different individuals gave instructions. For the social validity of the research, the teachers of the participants were interviewed, and the they expressed positive opinions about both the target behaviors and the concept map method using augmented reality technology.

In this study, a fractional mathematical model with steepest descent direction is proposed to find optimal solutions for a class of nonlinear programming problem. In this sense, Caputo-Fabrizio derivative is adapted to the mathematical model. To demonstrate the solution trajectory of the mathematical model, we use the multistage variational iteration method (MVIM). Numerical simulations and comparisons on some test problems show that the mathematical model generated using Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative is both feasible and efficient to find optimal solutions for a certain class of equality constrained optimization problems.

In this study, we have obtained analytical solutions of fractional Cauchy problem by using q-Homotopy Analysis Method (q-HAM) featuring conformable derivative. We have considered different situations according to the homogeneity and linearity of the fractional Cauchy differential equation. A detailed analysis of the results obtained in the study has been reported. According to the results, we have found out that our obtained solutions approach very speedily to the exact solutions.

This study displays a novel method for solving time-fractional nonlinear partial differential equations. The suggested method namely Laplace homotopy method (LHM) is considered with Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative operator. In order to show the efficiency and accuracy of the mentioned method, we have applied it to time-fractional nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. Comparisons between obtained solutions and the exact solutions have been made and the analysis shows that recommended solution method presents a rapid convergence to the exact solutions of the problems.

The study aims to reveal the studies' profile for distance education activities in the COVID-19 period. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis and content analysis were used together in the study. Within the scope of the study, 220 studies were selected in the Web of Science database to access the articles. Within the scope of bibliometric analysis, the most used keywords, the most cited journals, the most publishing journals, the most publishing countries and the most cited authors were analyzed with the VOSViewer program. In content analysis, methodological trends (method, sample size, data collection tool, data analysis type) used in the studies were examined. As a result of the research, the most publications were made in the last quarter of 2020, 16% of the studies were single-author and the quantitative research method was the most preferred (40%), the sample was mostly university students (n=78). It was observed that it was clustered between 0-100 intervals, the most frequently used questionnaire (n=105) as the data collection tool, and the descriptive-quantitative analysis method (40%) was used as the data analysis method. Also, the most publications are made in America and China, the most used keywords are "COVID-19", "online education" and "distance education", the most cited authors are Chen, Cong, Peng and Yang, and finally It has been observed that the highly cited journal has Sustainability.

This study aims to determine the problems experienced by parents of children with special needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The phenomenological patterns technique, which is a qualitative research method, was used in the study. Ten parents with children with special needs who were affected by different types of disabilities were included in the study. The data in the research were collected using interview forms consisting of open-ended questions and a semi-structured interview technique. After the data obtained from the interviews were decoded, they were analyzed with the descriptive analysis technique. At the end of the study, the findings of the problems experienced by parents of children with special needs during the epidemic, the problems they experienced with their children, and the problems and expectations related to the education of their children were discussed in detail within the framework of the literature.

In the present study, the purpose was to examine the relation between the social support levels, family indomitableness levels and the life satisfaction levels perceived by parents of children with disabilities. The Descriptive-Correlational Research Model was used as the model in the study. The parents of 231 children with disabilities participated in the study. The Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were made for the analyses of the data. According to the study results, a positive correlation was detected between the perceived social support levels, family indomitableness, and life satisfaction. It was determined that the perceived social support levels and family indomitableness explained 40% (R2) of life satisfaction.

Smartphones are among the most used devices. Considering the high rate of usage by university students, these devices' intended usage is a matter of curiosity. The purpose of this study is to determine the smartphones usage duration and purpose of using for university students. The study was carried out with a qualitative design. In the first stage of the study, smartphones' usage duration were obtained from 29 participants via a smartphone application. Considering these data, in the second stage, data were collected from seven participants via semi-structured interview form. Among the study results, it was determined that smartphones and smartphone applications were used extensively. Although this intensive usage causes on students' physical problems, there is no change in use intensity. According to the results, it was determined that the level of use of smartphones for following the educational processes or for improving learning is in the last place. Besides, problems were identified in students' participation in learning processes and focusing on lessons. The most used application types are messaging, social networks, video watching and editing, and game applications. Among the study's suggestions, reducing students' intensively usage and guiding students for using smartphone applications that support learning processes are stated.

The aim of this study is to adapt the 15-item Chatbot Usability Scale to the Turkish language and culture and evaluate the validity and reliability of the scale in the Turkish language and culture after the adaptation process. The necessary permissions were obtained, and the process was initiated. Proficient translators in both cultures were selected to ensure linguistic equivalence, and they carried out the translation process proficiently in both languages. The scale was translated back to its original language to enhance its suitability, and linguistic equivalence was ensured. The sample for the study included 406 students from eight different undergraduate and associate degree programs at a state university. Following the item analysis, the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was found to be 0.935. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were applied and it was found that the scale had a two-factor structure for Turkish university students. As a result of this study, the Chatbot Usability Scale has been adapted to the Turkish language and culture. As a suggestion, the generalizability of the scale can be increased by applying it to individuals from different age groups, genders, educational levels, and occupational groups and evaluating the test-retest reliability of the scale in future studies.

The main aim of this study is to investigate reading error types, reading levels and reading speeds of students with special learning difficulties (SLD). A case study model was used in the research. The research was carried out with 34 students enrolled in Grades 3-8, who were diagnosed with SLD in Konya in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the data analysis, while 'error analysis' was used for reading error types, the formula Number of Words Correctly Read ÷ Total Word Number of Text × 100 was utilised to determine reading levels. As for the identification of reading rates, the number of words read correctly in one minute was determined. According to the results of the research, the error types displayed by the students with SLD in the texts that are suitable for the classes that they attend and in the texts that belong to lower grade levels than their actual grade levels were found to be misreading, hesitating while reading, repeating, omitting a sound/syllable/word or skipping a line, substituting a sound/syllable or a word, pausing while reading, correction and reversing sounds.

In this study, the job satisfaction levels of teachers working with individuals in need of special education were examined with regard to certain variables. General survey model was used in the study and the study group of this research was comprised of teachers from all over Turkey who work at special education schools, integration and special education classrooms. The job satisfaction scale developed by Sahin (1999) was used in the study. The scale was developed using Google and administered online on December 08, 2017 and December 30, 2017. A total of 465 teachers participated in the study. SPSS 22 software was used for data analysis. Besides, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA test were used for data analysis. As for the results of the study, while no statistically significant difference was found in terms of gender, number of working years, considered income level, and age, statistically significant differences were observed according to salary, receiving support from colleagues, receiving praise from administrators, finding working at special education schools convenient variables.
