When a resistance test of an underwater vehicle model is conducted in a towing tank, the blockage effect will inevitably occur, particularly since the experimental model is relatively large. This paper investigates the estimation of resistance coefficients for an Axisymmetrical Rotary Body Underwater Vehicle (ARBUV) and a Blended Wing Body Underwater Vehicle (BWBUV). The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method is employed to predict the resistance of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). In order to quantify the blockage effect on the resistance coefficients of AUVs with different configurations, the resistance coefficients of AUVs are calculated in the infinite domain and finite domain under various blockage ratios. Through analysis of the resistance results, velocity distribution, and pressure distribution, the action law of the blockage effect is provided. It indicates that blockage effects have a greater influence on the pressure resistance for ARBUV. Surprisingly, the resistance coefficients of BWBUV are less affected, though it is closer to the sidewalls. It suggests that the blockage ratio of ARBUV and BWBUV should be separately smaller than 0.375% and 2.5% in the towing tank test. The towing tank experiments satisfy the blocking ratio with a Reynolds number greater than 107, which saturates the blocking effect and further reduces the effect on the drag coefficient. This study focuses on the synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) sensor tailored for the selective determination of 4,4′-oxydianiline (4,4′-ODA) in plastic products. Notably, by integrating the sensor matrix with pyrolyzed copper/carbon material derived from Cu-BTC MOF, a remarkable enhancement in electrochemical performance is achieved. The Cu-BTC material is grown successfully on the surface of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and subjected to calcination at 800 °C, yielding a CNT/Cu/C composite. This composite exhibits an increased surface area and enhanced electron transfer capability, resulting in an improved current response. To augment the selective detection capability of the modified electrodes for 4,4′-ODA, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were incorporated onto the composite surface. The modified electrode (CNT-2/Cu/C/MIP/GCE) was synthesized using acrylamide (AM) and methacrylic acid (MAA) as dual-functional monomers with 4,4′-ODA as a template molecule via precipitation polymerization. The differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) current response to 4,4′-ODA showed a favorable linear relationship within the concentration range of (0.15–10 μM,10–100 μM), with a detection limit of 0.05 μM. Moreover, the CNT-2/Cu/C/MIP/GCE sensor demonstrates exceptional sensitivity, specificity, consistency, and durability. Furthermore, this approach has proven effective in detecting 4,4′-ODA in spiked nylon spatula samples, with recovery rates ranging from 86.3% to 103.5%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

China has complex natural conditions and is rich in biodiversity. Based on the geographical distribution and species composition of terrestrial mammals, we explored the characteristics and geographic partitioning of mammal populations in different regions of China. We used a clustering algorithm, combined with the spatial distribution data and taxonomic characteristics of mammals, to geographically partition the terrestrial mammals in China. We found 10 zoogeographic regions of terrestrial mammals in China: Northeast region, North China region, Eastern grassland region, Western region, Northwest region, Qiangtang plateau region, Eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region, Himalayan region, South China region, and Taiwan-Hainan region. We found a new geographical zoning pattern for terrestrial mammals in China, examined the variability and characteristics of species composition among different regions, and quantified the association between species distribution and environmental factors. We proposed a method of incorporating taxonomic information into cluster analysis, which provided a new idea for zoogeographic region studies, a new perspective for understanding species diversity, and a scientific basis for animal conservation and habitat planning. Objective: Medial opening‐wedge high tibial osteotomy (MOWHTO) is considered to be an effective treatment for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis (KOA) of isolated the medial compartment with varus alignment of the lower extremity. However, the choice of material to fill the void remains controversial. This study aims to evaluate the bone union of the osteotomy gap using a novel wedge‐shaped cancellous allograft after MOWHTO and its effect on clinical outcomes. Methods: All patients who underwent MOWHTO using a novel wedge‐shaped cancellous allograft combined with TomoFix locking compression plate (LCP) fixation between January 2016 and July 2020 were enrolled. The radiographic parameters including hip‐knee‐ankle angle (HKAA), medial proximal tibial angle (MPTA), femorotibial angle (FTA) and posterior tibial slope angle (PTSA) were measured between pre‐operative and post‐operative radiographs. Knee Society score (KSS) and range of motion (ROM) were assessed preoperatively and at last follow‐up. Patients included in this study were divided into two groups according to the correction angle: small correction group (< 10°; SC group) and large correction group (≥ 10°; LC group). The modified Radiographic Union score for tibial fractures (mRUST) was used to assess the difference in bone healing between the two groups at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months postoperatively and at the final follow‐up. A paired student's t test was conducted for comparison of differences of the relevant data pre‐operatively and post‐operatively. Results: A total of 82 patients (88 knees) were included in this study. The HKAA, MPTA, FTA and PTSA increased from −6.4° ± 3.0°, 85.1° ± 2.6°, 180.1° ± 3.2° and 7.7° ± 4.4° preoperatively to 1.2° ± 4.3° (p < 0.001), 94.4° ± 3.3° (p < 0.001), 171.0° ± 2.8° and 11.8° ± 5.8° (p < 0.001) immediately postoperatively, respectively. However, no significant statistic difference was found in above‐mentioned parameters at last follow‐up compared to immediate postoperative data (p > 0.05). All patients in this study achieved good bone healing at the final follow‐up and no significant differences in mRUST scores were seen between the SC group and LC group. The KSS‐Knee score and KSS‐Function score improved significantly from 55.4 ± 3.7 and 63.3 ± 4.6 preoperatively to 86.4 ± 2.8 (p < 0.001) and 89.6 ± 2.9 (p < 0.001) at last follow‐up, respectively. Nevertheless, there was no significant difference in ROM between pre‐operation and last follow‐up (p > 0.05). Conclusion: For MOWHTO, the wedge‐shaped cancellous allograft was a reliable choice for providing good bone healing and clinical outcomes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
