New type coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is a new pathogen first described in December 2019. Pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. Plant biotechnology can help us to fight this epidemic, which affects the whole world. In this context, researchers working on the biotechnological applications of plants can play an important role in this critical period, using their knowledge and infrastructure as a tool to develop and produce new diagnostic reagents and therapeutics. Plants can make a big contribution to us in our fight against Covid-19 in three different areas: Diagnostic reagents to identify infected and healed individuals, vaccines to prevent infection and antiviral drugs to treat symptoms. In addition, thanks to the affordable cost of the products to be obtained using plants, its use will be spread rapidly all over the world. Also, molecular agriculture, it can be used as a biotechnology application involving the use of plant species as hosts for the production of highly valuable recombinant proteins containing antibodies, vaccines, hormones and enzymes. Plant-made antigens and antibodies may also be suitable tools for diagnosis; low-cost proteins can be provided by preserving antigenic determinants and specificity. Transient expression in plants is faster than traditional platforms based on bacterial cells and mammalian cells because there is no obligation to create fixed cell lines that produce the final product or scaled processes need to be developed due to scalability. Therefore, transient expression allows for material testing for clinical testing within a few weeks, and large-scale production of clinical grade material is possible with minimal investment. In this review, it is explained what plant biotechnology has brought us to fight Covid-19 and how this technology can be used in the upcoming period., Yeni Tip Koronavirüs (2019-nCoV) ilk olarak Aralık 2019’da tanımlanan yeni bir patojendir. 11 Mart 2020 de Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (DSÖ) tarafından pandemi ilan edilmiştir. Tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan bu salgınla mücadelede bitki biyoteknolojisi bize yardımcı olabilir. Bu kapsamda bitkilerin biyoteknolojik uygulamaları üzerine çalışan araştırmacılar, bilgi ve altyapılarını, yeni teşhis reaktifleri ve terapötikler geliştirmek ve üretmek için bir araç olarak kullanarak bu kritik dönemde önemli bir rol oynayabilirler. Bitkiler bize Covid-19 ile mücadelemizde üç farklı alanda büyük katkı sağlayabilir: Enfekte ve iyileşmiş bireyleri tanımlamak için teşhis reaktifleri, enfeksiyonu önlemek için aşılar ve semptomları tedavi etmek için antiviral ilaçlar olarak. Bununla birlikte bitkiler kullanılarak elde edilecek ürünlerin uygun maliyeti sayesinde tüm dünyada kullanımı hızla yayılabilecektir. Ayrıca moleküler tarım, antikor, aşı, hormon ve enzimler içeren oldukça değerli rekombinant proteinlerin üretimi için bitki türlerinin konakçı olarak kullanılmasını içeren biyoteknolojisi uygulaması olarak kullanılabilir. Bitkilerden üretilmiş antijenler ve antikorlar da teşhis için uygun araçlar olabilir; antijenik determinantları ve özgüllüğünü koruyarak düşük maliyetli proteinler sağlanabilir. Bitkilerdeki geçici ekspresyon, bakteri hücrelerine ve memeli hücrelerine dayanan geleneksel platformlardan daha hızlıdır, çünkü nihai ürünü üreten sabit hücre çizgileri oluşturma zorunluluğu yoktur veya ölçeklenebilirlik nedeniyle ölçeklendirilmiş işlemlerin geliştirilmesine de gerek yoktur. Bu nedenle geçici ekspresyon, birkaç hafta içinde klinik test için malzeme sağlanmasına izin verir ve klinik sınıf materyalin büyük ölçekli üretimi, minimum yatırımla mümkündür. Bu derlemede Covid-19 ile mücadelede bitki biyoteknolojisinin bize kazandırdıkları ve önümüzdeki süreçte bu teknolojinin nasıl kullanılabileceği anlatılmaktadır.

Macroporous foams having 80 vol % of nominal porosity were synthesized by the copolymerization crosslinking of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) based high internal phase emulsions (HIPEs). To alter the mechanical and thermal properties, cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) were used as filler. For this purpose, CNCs were added to the continuous oil phase during emulsification process at a loading rate of 1, 5 or 7 wt %. Consequently, composite foams were obtained by purification of the polymerized HIPEs (polyHIPEs). The effect of CNCs on the morphological and mechanical properties was investigated. It was found that CNCs have a significant influence on the thermal stability and the compressive strength of the obtained foams. In the end, the neat polyHIPE foam and the polyHIPE/CNC composite foam with 1 wt % of CNC were post-functionalized by reacting phenylimidazole (PIAL) with the epoxy ring of the GMA units. Resulting amine functional foams and the neat foam were utilized in Cr(III) removal from aqueous solutions. It was demonstrated that amine functional foams have a great potential as sorbent materials. The results also showed that the existence of CNCs decreased the performance for removing Cr(III) ions. Nevertheless, functionalization by PIAL significantly improved the selectivity of Cr(III) in comperasion with the neat polyHIPE foam.

Cities are physical, social, cultural, and behavioral spaces, and they are unique settlements because of their characteristics. Urban images are mosaics that contribute to identity values that make cities different from other cities. In this study, Balıklıgöl and its vicinity, which is an important city image with its historical and cultural values in Şanlıurfa were chosen as the study area. It was aimed to reveal an inventory of the cultural ecosystem services provided by the study area and the cultural ecosystem services (spiritual and ethical values, inspiration, social relations, health, sensory experiences, economic, cultural heritage value, recreation, etc.) provided by the study area have been assessed in this direction. It has been determined that the study area offers a wide range of cultural ecosystem services. Some suggestions were proposed regarding the deficiencies in the context of these services in the study area. In addition, suggestions were proposed to evaluate the services offered by other urban images in the city and to link these urban images with a greenway approach so that residents can benefit more from these ecosystem services., Kentler fiziksel, sosyal, kültürel ve davranışsal alanlardır ve sahip oldukları özellikleri dolasıyla eşsiz olan yerleşmelerdir. Kent imgeleri kentleri diğer kentlerden farklı kılan kimlik değerlerine katkı sağlayan mozaiklerdir. Bu çalışmada Şanlıurfa kentinde tarihi kültürel değerleriyle önemli bir kent imgesi olan Balıklıgöl ve yakın çevresi çalışma alanı olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışma alanının sağladığı kültürel ekosistem servislerine ilişkin bir envanterin ortaya konulması amaçlanmış ve bu doğrultuda alanının sağladığı kültürel ekosistem servisleri (manevi ve etik değerler, ilham, sosyal ilişkiler, sağlık, duyusal deneyimler, ekonomik, kültürel miras değeri, rekreasyon, vb.) değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma alanının oldukça geniş bir yelpazede kültürel ekosistem servisi sunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma alanında bu servisler bağlamında görülen eksikliklere ilişkin bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Ayrıca kent halkının ekosistem servislerinden daha fazla faydalanabilmesi için kentteki diğer kent imgelerinin sunduğu servislerin değerlendirilmesi ve bu kent imgelerinin yeşilyol yaklaşımıyla birbirine bağlanması yönünde önerilere de yer verilmiştir.

In this study, the producibility of activated carbon from wood waste by using the chemical activation method was investigated and the produced activated carbon was compared with commercial activated carbon. Activated carbon was produced from black poplar wood waste using zinc chloride and phosphoric acid. The density values of the produced activated carbons were determined by the picometer method. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) was used to analyze the microstructure and perform the elemental mapping. To determine the chemical content of activated carbon, it was also characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and energy dispersion spectroscopy (EDS). Based on the density and FE-SEM results, it was determined that the produced activated carbon had a lower density and porous structure. In addition, EDS analysis showed that the activated carbon produced from black poplar wood waste was purer than commercial activated carbon.

This research will make an analysis of the material stock in Tungurahua-Ecuador from 2013 to 2019 using the general purpose of six “s” of Brand (1994) for site, structure, skin and space plan layers, data was taken from the Instituto Nacional de Estadisticas y Censos (INEC), from 2013 to 2019; and for the stuff layer the research applied online forms, the results show that reinforced concrete is the predominantly material used in foundation, structure and skin layers, then bricks and blocks are most common used in space plan layer and timber elements are the most used in the stuff layer, finally the paper proposes some ways to deal with this type of materials and future information to be addressed in new research.

The importance of energy which has a significant role in socio-economic development of countries is increasing because of a fast-growing population and industrialization. The fact that the fossil resources are insufficient to meet the demand if new reserves cannot be found in the near future and the threat to human and environmental health lead the countries to seek renewable clean energy resources. Turkey, which is dependent on foreign energy due to being poor in terms of fossil fuels as a country, has high solar energy potential but cannot utilize this potential fully. In this paper, the importance and potential of solar energy in Turkey, the problems encountered in utilizing solar energy have been studied. In this study, semi-structured interview was used as qualitative data collection technique. The experts to be interviewed were selected from people with at least five years of academic or sector experience in solar energy. As a result of the research, it was reached by all experts interviewed that Turkey need to increase the benefit from solar energy for Turkey's social and economic development and there are various obstacles in front of utilizing this benefit. However, it is seen that expert opinions vary in terms of solutions.

Packaging waste has a detrimental impact on the pollution of the ecosystem unless it is not managed properly. Many countries try to solve this problem by collecting beverage packaging before it gets mixed with other wastes and sends the beverage packaging to recycling facilities. In order to reproduce a packaging material, in the exact same form and quality as the materials produced from the raw material, the quality and status of the used material become rather important. Therefore, a specific method, among others, becomes prominent for the re-collection of the used beverage packaging, before these become wasted and contaminated. This system is called the “Deposit Refund System (DRS)”. In the DRS, each beverage packaging shall have a certain deposit value and with each purchase, the consumer shall pay that deposit value in addition to the product price. This system leads the way to a clean and effective collection of recyclable beverage packaging. The aim of this study is to draw attention to the importance of packaging waste, to introduce the Deposit Return System, which is the best management method of used beverage packaging in the world, and to introduce the reader to the main lines of the deposit return system we have developed for Turkey. In this study, we have researched the best practices of DRS and examined the implementation of the system. The methodology we used included a detailed examination of all the administrative, technical and economic processes necessary for the sustainable implementation of the subject. The success of the system depends on a clear structuring and outlining of the relationships, duties, authorities, and responsibilities of each stakeholder. Accordingly, the legal framework shall set forth a comprehensive framework, in order to regulate all procedures and principles relating to the DRS. The main outcome of the study is to determine the advantages of implementing the DRS in Turkey, for beverage packaging waste management. In addition, we analyze the governance models of DRS, where the DRS is run by an Operator. We examine the alternative governance models, such as state-owned and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models other than “non-profit organization model” which is common in EU countries. We further elaborate on the financial sustainability of the PPP projects and how to create “bankable projects”. As an innovative model for the DRS, we created a well-structured finance model with a resilience revenue stream in the PPP option for long-term public services. The DRS is one of the best implementation mechanisms for the separate collection of packaging waste. In the countries where DRS is applied, recycling rates reach up to 98% for beverage containers [1]. DRS in Turkey can increase recycling rates up to 70% for PET, glass, and aluminum materials. This outcome leads more efficient and closed-cycle source management. The New Circular Economy Action Plan by the EU aims to design the entire life cycle of products while promoting circular economy processes, fostering sustainable consumption, and aiming to keep resources available as much as possible in the EU’s economy. Lastly, we also considered and examined other environmental benefits of the DRS in Turkey.

The aim of this study is to reveal the toxicity of design (landscape) plants in Bursa city parks. Landscape plants used in design works are especially evaluated in terms of aesthetics and functionality. However, design (landscape) plants can pose a risk to human and animal health due to the toxic organic compounds they contain. Within this scope, the design (landscape) plants in Hudavendigar City Park, Soganli Botanical Park, Resat Oyal Culture Park and Merinos City Park, which are used extensively by the city's people and which are described as city parks, were examined in terms of their toxic properties. The results showed that the taxa included in the major toxicity group were found at the highest rate in Resat Oyal Culture Park, followed by Merinos City Park, Soganli Botanical Park and Hudavendigar City Park, respectively. Nerium oleander, Taxus baccata, Eriobotrya japonica, Sophora japonica, Pittosporum tobira can be given as examples of taxa included in the major toxicity group. It was determined that design (landscape) plants with major toxicity are used less in city parks, which have been designed and opened to service recently. In landscape design works, it is significant for designers know the negative effects that plants can have on humans and animals due to toxic components other than their esthetic and functional properties. In this way, designs will be made to account for the toxic compounds, toxin conditions of plants, the degree of toxin and the toxic organs of the plants, and the present toxicity will be the least dangerous., Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bursa kent parklarında bulunan tasarım (peyzaj) bitkilerinin toksikolojik özelliklerini incelemek ve ortaya çıkarmaktır. Tasarım çalışmalarında kullanılan peyzaj bitkileri özellikle estetik ve işlevsellik açısından değerlendirilir. Ancak tasarım (peyzaj) bitkileri, içerdikleri toksik organik bileşikler nedeniyle insan ve hayvan sağlığı açısından risk oluşturabilir. Bu kapsamda şehir halkı tarafından yoğun olarak kullanılan ve şehir parkı olarak nitelendirilen Hüdavendigar Kent Parkı, Soğanlı Botanik Parkı, Reşat Oyal Kültür Parkı ve Merinos Kent Parkı'nda bulunan tasarım (peyzaj) bitkileri, toksikolojik özellikleri açısından incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar, majör toksisite grubuna dahil olan taksonların en yüksek oranda Reşat Oyal Kültür Parkı'nda bulunduğunu, ardından sırasıyla Merinos Kent Parkı, Soğanlı Botanik Parkı ve Hüdavendigar Kent Parkı'nda bulunduğunu göstermiştir. Major toksisite grubuna dahil taksonlara Nerium oleander, Taxus baccata, Eriobotrya japonica, Sophora japonica, Pittosporum tobira örnek verilebilir. Yeni tasarlanan ve hizmete açılan şehir parklarında büyük toksisiteye sahip tasarım (peyzaj) bitkilerinin daha az kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Peyzaj tasarım çalışmalarında, tasarımcıların bitkilerin estetik ve fonksiyonel özelliklerinin dışında bitkilerin sahip oldukları toksik bileşenlerden dolayı insanlar ve hayvanlar üzerinde oluşturabilecekleri olumsuz etkileri bilmesi önemlidir. Böylelikle bitkilerin toksik bileşiklerini, toksin durumlarını, toksin derecelerini ve bitkilerin toksik organlarını hesaba katacak tasarımlar yapılacak ve bitki toksisitesinden kaynaklanan tehlikeli durumlar en aza indirilecektir.

Ülkemizde son yıllarda gündeme gelen enerji kooperatifleri 1930’lu yıllardan itibaren dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinde kurulmuş ve enerji sektöründe faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedirler. Literatürde de enerji kooperatifleri yer almakta olup bu çalışmanın amacı; enerji kooperatifçiliği konusunda yapılan yayınların, Yayın Yıl Aralığı, Yayın Kaynağı, Yayın Sayısı, Yıllık Büyüme Oranı, Ortalama Yayın Yaşı, Anahtar Kelimeler, Tez Yazarlı Makaleler, Yayın başına eş yazar, Uluslararası İş birliği Oranı gibi bilgilerin ortaya konulmasıdır. 1983-2022 yılları arasında bu konuda yapılan yayınların incelenmesinde, Scopus veri tabanı tercih edilmiştir. Belirlenen bibtex formatında 228 yayın genel yapıya, kavramsal yapıya, entelektüel yapıya, sosyal yapıya yönelik analizler yapılmıştır.Yapılan analize göre, Literatürde yer alan araştırmaların özellikle 2014 yılından sonra bir kırılma yaşadığı ve ilerleyen yıllarda önemli düzeyde artış gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. 39 yıllık araştırma geçmişi incelendiğinde yapılan 228 araştırmanın 161 farklı kaynakta (kitap, dergi, konferans vb.) yayınlandığı anlaşılmıştır. Enerji kooperatifleri ile ilişkili kavramların literatüre girişinin üzerinden geçen yaklaşık yarım asırlık süreye rağmen, çalışmaların ortalama yaşının 5,91 olduğu görülmüştür., Energy cooperatives, which have come to the fore in our country in recent years, have been established in various parts of the world since the 1930s and continue their activities in the energy sector. There are also energy cooperatives in the literature. The aim of this study is to reveal information such as Publication Year Interval, Publication Source, Number of Publications, Annual Growth Rate, Average Publication Age, Keywords, Articles with Thesis Authors, Co-authors per publication, International Collaboration Rate of publications on energy cooperatives. Scopus database was preferred in the examination of the publications on this subject between 1983-2022. 228 publications in the determined bibtex format were analyzed for the general structure, conceptual structure, intellectual structure and social structure.According to the analysis, it was determined that the studies in the literature experienced a break especially after 2014 and increased significantly in the following years. When the 39-year research history was examined, it was understood that 228 studies were published in 161 different sources (books, journals, conferences, etc.). Despite the half-century period that has passed since the introduction of the concepts related to energy cooperatives in the literature, it has been observed that the average age of the studies is 5.91 years.

In this study, the reorganization studies in the organizational structure of the General Directorate of Forestry and their effects on employment are examined. Questionnaire technique was used as data collection method in the study, and 5-point likert scale was used in the survey questions. 500 people participated in the survey study. SPSS 20 statistical package program was used to evaluate the data obtained, and a significance level of 0.05 was taken as a criterion in statistical analysis. Since the data did not have a normal distribution, the data were evaluated with the Kruskal Wallis test, one of the non-parametric tests. The participants replied that "General Directorate of Forestry has made a strategically important reorganization change with the establishment of new forestry unit" as 52% agree and 23.8% strongly agree. Thus, 75.8% of the participants stated that the reorganization studies carried out in the organizational structure of the General Directorate of Forestry are important. Thus, with the reorganization works, a large number of Forest Engineers and Forest Conservation Officers were appointed to the newly established forestry units. As a result of these appointments, there has been a serious decrease in the number of Forest Engineers and Forest Conservation Officers waiting for a job. Seeing that there is no problem in the employment of Forest Engineers and Forest Conservation Officers, university candidates preferred the programs that provide education for these professions in the university exams they entered in 2022 and filled the quotas.

In this study, raw biomass feedstock characterization of greenhouse post-harvest residues of tomato, pepper, and eggplant has been investigated using the wastes of stem and leaves as a source of energy gained from palletization. The characterization was compared to both sawdust and the relevant ISO and EU pellet standards. The proximate and ultimate analyses results of all the tested feedstock materials have proven to be successful candidates for pelletizing and combustion process. The bulk density of tomato, pepper, and eggplant pellets were found to be 568 kg/m3, 575 kg/m3, 589 kg/m3, respectively, and the higher heating values of these produces were found to be 17.25 MJ/kg, 17.45 MJ/kg, and 17.80 MJ/kg, respectively. Based on the results, it is possible to generate 10 tons of waste per hectare capable of producing almost 50 MWh of heating energy. Furthermore, this waste could generate more than 6.5 tons of CO2 per hectare. The study results suggest that the heating energy potential and the amount of CO2 emitted could be used in greenhouses to support photosynthesis during low temperature and low solar radiation periods.

Medical waste management has always been an important topic due to its infectious status. Recently, more care has been given to it due to the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the world. Several methods are applied to handle medical wastes. Incineration and sterilization with autoclave are among the most common medical waste treatment methods. Among all methods, incineration serves the ultimate method of waste destruction since the waste is exposed to high temperatures (~800 °C) for about 2 hours. Because of the pandemic or some other reasons, administrations may want to shift their technology to incineration from autoclave. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to prepare a comparison of both technologies in terms of life cycle perspective. We used OpenLCA for calculations. Two different calculations were conducted. In the first one, the actual treatment methods and the waste amount were used. In the second one, a scenario was formed that included the treatment of the whole medical waste of Istanbul by only incineration process. The results indicated a higher mid-category life cycle impact for the combustion method. The highest contribution was for human toxicity with 3.8e4 kg 1,4-DB eq and 1.7e5 kg 1,4-DB eq for the current operation and scenario, respectively. The environmental impact of the sterilization process remained negligible relative to the combustion process.

The paper illustrates some of the ongoing results of the interdepartmental research Prosit “PROgettare in SostenibilITà: qualification and digitalization in construction”, analyzing some of the key steps aimed at testing, within the actual regulatory and technological framework, new possible applications of recycled materials from construction and demolition (C&D) in sustainable and innovative supply chains. In Italy, in particular, about 98% of the non-hazardous waste from C&D activities already in 2018, as documented by the Eurostat’s “Recovery rate of construction and demolition waste” report. Nevertheless, C&D waste is mainly reused for the construction of embankments and road foundations. The research, therefore, identifies in the use of file-to-factory technologies a possible way to extend the scope of the reuse of these resources to realize diversified and non-standard manufactures and components, in the perspective of a greater spread of virtuous practices of circular economy in the construction sector. In this sense, a process “algorithm” is described, designed to be scaled and replicated in different contexts for similar purposes.

Companies must meet the requirements and expectations of their customers to ensure their existence. In this sense, the main goal of this study is to show the impact of sustainable product design on corporate sustainability. The universe of the study consists of business managers who work in the metal products and machinery industry. They operate in Şanlıurfa province, which is located in the south-eastern region of Turkey and is the second-largest city in the region and is an industrial city. We used random sampling method in the study. We collected data from the participants by meeting face to face with the help of the questionnaire we created. We analysed the collected data by applying quantitative research methods and statistical analysis techniques. We found that there is a positive and significant relationship between sustainable product design and the sub-dimensions of corporate sustainability. We also reported that sustainable product design has an impact of approximately 16% on corporate sustainability. In 2022, we encountered some difficulties while collecting data due to the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. It is prepared for that the findings gained in this investigation will contribute to the literature by shedding light on studies planned for the future. In addition, the study was limited to correlation and simple regression analyses. It is recommended that other methods of analysis be used in future studies.

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de endüstriyel odun üretimine dayalı olarak illerin potansiyel analizi yapılmıştır. Bu maksatla çok ölçütlü karar verme tekniklerinden olan TOPSIS ve VIKOR yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Bilindiği gibi ormandan elde edilen odunlar faklı sınıflara sahip olup ekonomik değerleri de birbirinden farklıdır. Problemin hiyerarşik yapısında farklı tiplerdeki odun sınıfları kriter olarak, Türkiye’deki iller de alternatif olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmadaki veriler Orman Genel Müdürlüğü’nden elde edilmiştir. Her iki yöntemden elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılmış ve harita üzerinde görselleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlarda, orman varlığı yüksek olan Kütahya, Kastamonu, Bolu, Antalya gibi iller endüstriyel odun üretim performansına göre ilk sırada yer almıştır. Tel direk ve tomruk sınıfından odun üretimi yapan illerin endüstriyel odun üretim performansının üst sıralarda olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca iki yöntemin sonuçlarına göre, özellikle ilk 30 ilin sıralaması oldukça farklı olup, son 51 ilin sonuçlarının ise birbirine çok yakın olduğu görülmektedir. Son sıralarda yer alan iller ise orman varlığı çok düşük olan Doğu Anadolu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu’da yer alan illerdir., In this study, a potential analysis of provinces based on industrial wood production in Turkey was carried out. For this purpose, TOPSIS and VIKOR methods, which are multi-criteria decision-making techniques, were used. As it is known, the woods obtained from the forest have different grades and their economic values are different from each other. In the hierarchical structure of the problem, different types of wood grades were determined as criteria, and provinces in Turkey were determined as alternatives. The data in the study were obtained from the General Directorate of Forestry. The results obtained from both methods were compared and visualized on the map. In the results, provinces such as Kütahya, Kastamonu, Bolu and Antalya, which have high forest assets, ranked first in terms of industrial wood production performance. It has been observed that the industrial wood production performance of the provinces producing wood from utility telephone pole and log grade is at the top. In addition, according to the results of the two methods, especially the ranking of the first 30 provinces is found quite different, and it is seen that the results of the last 51 provinces are very close to each other. The provinces in the last place are those located in Eastern Anatolia and South-eastern Anatolia, where forest assets are extremely low.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the irrigation water required due to solar radiation in high technology greenhouses where soilless cultivation is carried out according to TS825 standards, and to determine the annual water consumption and storage capacity with the harvested rainwater. As a result of the calculations made for Turkey Mediterranean region, it has been determined that if 90% of the rainfall in the western Mediterranean region is harvested, 72% of the annual water consumption can be met, and 45% in the eastern Mediterranean region. In the inner regions where the terrestrial climate is dominant, 22% - 32% of the annual water consumption can be met with 90% of the rain harvested depending on the amount of rainfall. The required storage volume in the western Mediterranean is 0.420 m3.m-2, while it is 0.096 m3.m-2 in the eastern Mediterranean and 0.044 m3.m-2 in Kırşehir, where the continental climate prevails.

In this study, in order to observe the mechanical and physical properties of ordinary screed, sandy-lightweight screed and lightweight screed samples, expanded polystyrene (EPS) was used as fine aggregate and lightweight screed systems were produced by replacing sand at 100%, 50% and 0%. Samples of cement dosages of 250, 300, 350 kg/m3 were produced for lightweight screeds, sandy-lightweight screeds and ordinary screeds. Unit weight, water absorption capacity, flexural strength, compressive strength, fire resistance, abrasion and thermal conductivity tests were performed on the produced screed systems. As a result of the research, it was determined that as EPS ratio increases in screed system; unit weights decreased, water absorption rates increased. Besides, the flexural and compressive strengths, fire and abrasion resistance are also decreased. However, it was observed that the thermal conductivity coefficient reduced with the increment of EPS particles in the screed. In normal, sandy-lightweight and lightweight screeds, it was determined that as the cement dosage increased; the unit weights, flexural and compressive strengths, fire and abrasion resistance increased, water absorption capacity and the thermal conductivity coefficient decreased.

The climate crisis is becoming more visible day by day and is affecting the ecological system more and more. However, despite such a visible threat and its severe effects, efforts at the national and international levels are far from tackling the climate crisis. Especially with its rapid growth and ever-increasing emission rates, the commercial aviation sector remains inadequate in combating the climate crisis. This study discusses the struggles of the global commercial aviation sector in terms of the climate crisis and the reflections of this combat on the Turkish commercial aviation sector. As a result, both international and domestic commercial aviation sectors follow an unrealistic attitude in the fight against the climate crisis, and there is still a long way to go.

Social entrepreneurship and the basic principles of cooperatives, which develop to create a solution to a social problem and add value, require using these concepts together. The increase in energy demand with the increasing population increases the initiatives for energy production. However, the energy cooperative model, in which the needs of the community economy and energy production are met locally, and the local benefit is enlarged, has not become widespread enough yet. It is necessary to adopt the social enterprise model by providing the energy production of the cooperatives and to develop the necessary policies in this regard. In this study, the research method was determined as follows: First of all, international publications on the subject and reports and publications made by the Ministry and its affiliated institutions on a national scale were examined in order to evaluate the secondary data. In addition, academic researches published scientifically and researches made up to date were examined with literature review. This research was carried out in order to evaluate the energy cooperatives in Turkey in the context of social entrepreneurship and to guide the growth of social benefit by realizing successful investments., Girişimciliğin hız kazandığı 21. Yüzyılda sosyal girişimcilik yeni bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Toplumsal bir soruna çare üretmek ve değer katmak üzere gelişen sosyal girişimcilik kavramı ile kooperatifçiliğin temel ilkeleri, bu kavramları beraber kullanmayı gerektirmektedir. Ülkeler için hayati bir kavram olan enerji özellikle sürdürülebilir kalkınma odakları çerçevesinde büyük önem taşımaktadır. Artan nüfusla beraber enerji talebinin büyümesi, enerji üretimine olan girişimleri arttırmaktadır. Ancak topluluk ekonomisi ile enerji üretiminin sağlandığı ihtiyaçların yerelde karşılanarak yerel faydanın büyütüldüğü enerji kooperatifçiliği modeli henüz yeterince yaygınlaşmamıştır. Türkiye’de yenilenebilir enerji kooperatifleri 2010’lu yıllardan sonra gündeme gelmiş olup, 1163 sayılı Kooperatifçilik Kanunu kapsamında değerlendirilmektedir. Kooperatiflerin enerji üretimini sağlayarak sosyal girişim modelinin benimsenmesi ve bu hususta gerekli politikaların geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu alanda bu sorunlara çözüm getirmek üzere dünyadaki sosyal girişim modelleri ve enerji kooperatiflerinin durumları incelenmiştir. Yürütülen bu araştırmada araştırma yöntemi şöyle belirlenmiştir: Öncelikli olarak ikincil verileri değerlendirmek üzere konu ile ilgili uluslararası yayınlar ve ulusal ölçekte Bakanlık ve bağlı kurumlarınca yapılmış rapor ve yayınlar incelenmiştir. Ayrıca literatür taraması yapılarak bilimsel olarak yayınlanmış akademik araştırmalar ile günümüze kadar yapılan araştırmalar incelenmiştir. Türkiye ölçeğinde enerji kooperatiflerinin sosyal girişimcilik bağlamında değerlendirilmesi ve başarılı yatırımların hayata geçmesi ile sosyal faydanın büyütülmesine yol göstermek üzere bu araştırma yürütülmüştür.

In this paper, a detailed literature review on the LEED Certification system is embedded in to green building certification case study. Within the study, information about the parameters of the LEED system and the algorithm that should be applied in order to get full score from the audit were compiled. The conditions of Turkey were taken into account through the study. The study was presented in an analytical order for scientists to easily access information about the LEED Certification system. In addition, the evaluation required to get an appropriate score from the LEED certification system is given with a case study; analysis Yalova University Campus.

This paper presents research on the circular economy performance in Serbia. The introduction of a circular economy in the field of waste management is only the first step; the concept of circular economy goes beyond waste management in scope and content. In this paper, the authors emphasize this complexity, starting from the set of available definitions, encompassing the global level, the EU level, as well as the level of Serbia, as a representative country with an economy in transition. An analysis is provided of the concept of circular economy with the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals.

A magnetic solid-phase extraction method has been developed for the extraction and analysis of some fungicides in environmental water samples. Azoxystrobin, chlorothalonil, cyprodinil and trifloxystrobin were the target fungicides selected. First, a carbon material was obtained from the raw coal sample collected from Zonguldak region by ash removal process and then a magnetic C/Fe3O4 composite was produced from the carbon material using a single-step thermal method. The magnetic C/Fe3O4 composite was characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. This composite was then used as an adsorbent for the magnetic solid-phase extraction of fungicides from water samples followed by high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis. Experimental parameters affecting the extraction efficiency such as adsorbent amount, type and volume of desorption solvent, adsorption and desorption time, ionic strength, and pH were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the extraction efficiency for azoxystrobin, chlorothalonil, cyprodinil and trifloxystrobin was found to be 71%, 44%, 41% and 70%, respectively. The method detection limits for fungicides were found to be in the range of 0.4-1.1 µg L-1. The relative standard deviations were found to be lower than 6.6% and 6.9% for intra-day and inter-day precisions, respectively. The extraction of related fungicides from water samples collected from Zonguldak region was carried out efficiently. The recoveries obtained from spiked water samples were in the range of 71–106%.

The use of alternative materials in civil engineering applications contributes to sustainable development and the economy. Large amounts of sediment are produced as waste material regarding to dredging activities in canals and ports. Storage or disposal of this material may cause some environmental and economic problems. To overcome these problems, dredged soils can be used for various civil engineering applications such as filling materials of road, foundation, and embankment. However, dredged soils generally have low bearing capacity, shear strength, and high compressibility due to their organic matter content. Therefore, these soils need to be improved with various additives before using as fillers. In this study, the index and compressibility parameters of a dredged soil were examined. The dredged soils were obtained from İzmir Bay. In the first part, Atterberg’s limit test, sieve analysis, specific gravity, pH determination, scanning electron microscope analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and consolidation test has been conducted for dredged samples which have various organic matter content (0, 4, 7 and 11%). In the next part, natural dredged soil samples were mixed with lime and silica fume in various proportions (5, 10, 15, and 20%), and compressibility performance was compared with the natural samples. It has been obtained that liquid and plastic limit, compression index, and void ratio change of natural dredged samples increased when organic matter content increased. While the silica fume has a negative effect on the compressibility behavior of dredged soil, the lime has a positive effect.

Son yıllarda hızlı gelişen türler ve klonların belirli üretim teknik ve sistemlerle yetiştirilmesi, odun hammadde arzının karşılanması noktasında büyük öneme sahiptir. Bu bağlamda, dünyada ve Türkiye’de kavak türleri ve klonları kullanılarak geniş ölçekte endüstriyel plantasyonlar oluşturulmaktadır. Türkiye’de yetiştirilen kavak türlerinin ayrımı, yayılış alanlarının tespiti, izlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi geleceğe yönelik odun hammaddesi yönetim ve planlamalarına altlık oluşturmaktadır. Son yıllarda, orman alanlarının izlenmesi için tercih edilen ve yaygın kullanılan yaklaşım, uzaktan algılama ve coğrafi bilgi sistemlerinin entegrasyonudur. Kavak yetişme sahalarının diğer türlerin yetişme alanlarından ayrılması ve alansal tespitinin yapılabilmesi için türlerin spektral özelliklerinin bilinmesi gerekir. Enerji nesne arasındaki ilişki, nesnelerin spektral imzası olarak tanımlanmakta ve görüntü üzerinden farklı spektral özelliklere sahip nesnelerin ayırt edilmesinde kullanılan temel veri kaynağı niteliğindedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında, farklı endüstriyel kavak tür ve klonlarını içerisinde barındıran Sakarya-Akyazı, Uşak-Sivaslı, Afyonkarahisar-Çay ve Kırşehir-Özbağ ilçelerinde belirlenen örnekleme alanlarında, Populus deltoides Bartr. “Samsun (I-77/51)”, Populus x euramericana “I-214”, Populus x euramericana “I-45/51”, Populus nigra L. “Kocabey (TR-77/10)” klonları ve Populus nigra L. (Karakavak) türü için spektroradyometre cihazı yardımıyla spektral ölçüm çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kavak tür ve klonlarına ait, 380-720 nm dalga boyu aralığının mavi bandında tüm kavak tür ve klonlarının benzer spektral karakteristiğe sahip olduğu fakat yeşil ve kırmızı/kırmızı-kenar bantlarda spektral yansıma değerlerinde farklılıklar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Elektromanyetik spektrumun özellikle kızılötesi bölgesinde Populus nigra L. “Kocabey (TR 77/10)” klonunun diğerlerinden daha rahat ayırt edilebildiği gözlenmiştir. Elektromanyetik spektrumun kısa dalga kızılötesi bölgesinde ise klonal spektral özelliklerinin diğerlerinden farklılaştığı, bu sayede görünür veya yakın kızılötesi bölgede ayırt edilemeyen tür ve klonların bu bölgede ayırt edilebildiği tespit edilmiştir., In recent years, fast-growing species and clones, grown with different production techniques and systems, has a great importance in meeting the wood raw material supply. In this context, industrial plantations are created on a large scale by using poplar species and their clones in the world and in Turkey. The separation of poplar species in Turkey, the determination of their distribution areas and their monitoring form the basis for future wood raw material management and planning. Lately, the preferred and widely used approach for monitoring forest areas is the integration of remote sensing and geographic information systems. In order to distinguish poplar growing sites from the growing areas of other species and to make spatial determination, it is necessary to know their spectral characteristics. The relationship between the energy and object is defined as the spectral signature of the objects, and it is the main data source used to distinguish objects with different spectral properties over the image. Within the scope of this study, spectral measurements were taken for clones Populus deltoides Bartr. “Samsun (I-77/51)”, Populus x euramericana “I-214”, Populus x euramericana “I-45/51”, Populus nigra L. “Kocabey (TR-77/10)” and species Populus nigra L. (Karakavak) with the help of spectroradiometer device in the sampling areas determined in Sakarya-Akyazı, Uşak-Sivaslı, Afyonkarahisar-Çay ve Kırşehir-Özbağ districts, which contain different industrial poplar species and clones. It was determined that all poplar species and clones have similar spectral characteristics in the blue band of the 380-720 nm wavelength range, but there were differences in spectral reflectance values in the green and red/red-edge bands. It was also observed that Populus nigra L. “Kocabey (TR 77/10)” clone could be more effectively distinguished than the others, especially in the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. In the short-wave infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum, species and clones that cannot be distinguished in the visible or near-infrared region can be distinguished due to the differentiation of their clonal spectral characteristics.

Hazelnut shell is the primary byproduct of hazelnut industry which has the potential source of antioxidants, and phenolics with interest of pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries. The main goal of this study is to determine effects of extraction method, extraction time, solvent type, solid to liquid ratio, and particle size on extraction yield, antioxidant capacity, and total phenolic content of waste hazelnut shell. The highest extraction yield was found as 15.4% by using methanol as solvent, in combined extraction for 16 h total extraction time. As for the best antioxidant capacity, 0.0508 mg TE mL-1 was observed by using methanol as a solvent in ultrasonic extraction, whereas the highest phenolic content was found as 0.188 mg GAE mL-1 by Soxhlet extraction with acetone for 8 h. After extraction of hazelnut shell waste, major components were found as oleic and palmitic acids for all solvent types according to GC-MS results.

Atık lastiklerin, inşaat mühendisliği uygulamalarında kullanımı son 30-40 yıl içinde oldukça yaygınlaşmıştır. Geoteknik mühendisliği uygulamalarında olumlu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Yol inşaatlarındaki stabilite ve oturma problemlerine karşı, istinat ve dolgu duvarlarında ise hafif malzeme ihtiyacına karşılık geri dolgu malzemesi olarak kullanılmaktadırlar. Çalışmanın amacı yapay olarak oluşturulan demiryolu altyapısına etki eden tekrarlı yükler altında malzeme davranışının incelenmesidir. Bu çalışmada, demiryolu altyapısı temel malzemesi olarak seçilen temiz standart kum örneği ile atık araç lastiklerinden parçalama ve öğütülme yolu ile elde edilen toz, çubuk ve amorf malzeme kütlece %5/95, %10/90 ve %15/85 oranlarında karıştırılmış ve oluşturulan karışım numuneler üzerinde rezonant kolon (RC) deneyleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, 100 kPa efektif basınç altında, %5 oranında toz atık lastik karışımı içeren numunelerin kayma modüllerinin, 100 kPa referans örneğe göre, %0,001 birim kayma deformasyon seviyelerinde %26, %0,01 birim kayma deformasyon seviyelerinde %18 ve %0,1 birim kayma deformasyon seviyelerinde ise %35 civarında daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir., The use of waste tires in civil engineering applications has become a major issue in recent years and has advantageous in terms of geotechnical engineering. The rubber wastes are lightweight materials that can be used as a filling material in embankments to overcome the stability and settlement problems in road constructions over weak soils. In this study, clean standard sand soil as the base material of railway infrastructure were mixed rubber dust, chips and amorphous piece samples obtained from waste tire in 5%, 10% and 15% by mass. Resonance Column (RC) tests were performed on the mixture samples. The aim is to investigate the shear modulus of artificially constructed railway infrastructure. The shear modulus of samples containing 5% dust waste rubber mixture is about 26% higher than the reference sample at 0,001% shear strain amplitude and 18% higher than the reference sample at 0,01% shear strain amplitude and 35% higher than the reference sample at 0,1% shear strain amplitude under 100 kPa effective pressure.

Hospital gardens are one of the most important connection points between health and nature. The creation of visually effective plant compositions in hospital gardens is also important in terms of relaxing users and providing socialization. In this study, observation, data collection and evaluation methods were followed. In the scope of the study, a total of 26 hospital gardens Bursa (Osmangazi, Yıldırım, and Nilüfer) including state and private hospitals in the central districts of Bursa were evaluated. The plant diversity in hospital gardens were examined and form, texture, color and odor characteristics, autumn color effects, sensory effects of the identified taxa, and how they were used in hospital gardens were evaluated. It has been determined that the hospital gardens had a rich plant diversity with 95 woody plant taxa, and 47.37% of the identified plants were natural and 52.63% were exotic species and the gardens were insufficient in terms of planting design. In the hospital gardens, green colors, which gave a sense of tranquility and confidence, were determined to be dominant (81.05%). State hospitals were found to be more successful in terms of plant diversity than private hospitals. In the design of hospital gardens, blue, pink and yellow plant species that make people feel a sense of eternity, desire of living, vitality and love should be included., Hastane bahçeleri, sağlık ve doğa arasındaki en önemli bağlantı noktalarından birisidir. Doğanın iyileştirici gücü bitkiler ile oluşturduğu doğal manzaralardan gelmekte olup, bitkiler ise renkleri, kokuları, yaprak ve çiçekleri gibi birçok özellikleri ile duyusal uyarım kapasiteleri yüksek peyzaj öğelerdir. Hastane bahçelerinde görsel anlamda etkili bitki kompozisyonlarının oluşturulması, kullanıcıların rahatlaması ve sosyalleşmelerinin sağlanması açısından da önemlidir. Bu çalışmada, Bursa Merkez ilçelerinde (Osmangazi, Yıldırım ve Nilüfer) yer alan toplam 26 adet devlet ve özel hastane bahçelerindeki bitkisel çeşitlilik irdelenmiş olup, kullanılan bitkilerin form, renk, koku, sonbahar renk etkisi ve duyusal etkileri ve bahçelerde nasıl kullanıldıkları değerlendirilmiştir. Hastane bahçelerinin toplam 95 adet odunsu bitki taksonu ile zengin bir bitkisel çeşitliliğe sahip olduğu, tespit edilen bitkilerin % 47,37’sinin doğal, % 52,63’ünün egzotik türlerden meydana geldiği saptanmış olup, bahçelerin bitkisel tasarım açısından yetersiz olduğu belirlenmiştir. Devlet hastanelerinin özel hastanelerden bitkisel çeşitlilik açısından nispeten daha başarılı olduğu saptanmıştır. Dinginlik ve güven duygusu veren yeşil renk tonlarının hâkim olduğu (%81,05) hastane bahçelerinde, beyaz ve krem renkli bitkilerin kullanımı yaygın iken mavi, pembe ve sarı tonlardaki bitkilerin kullanımının ise daha az oranda olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hastane bahçelerinin tasarımında, insanlarda sonsuzluk, yaşama arzusu, zindelik ve sevgi hislerini uyandıran mavi, pembe ve sarı bitki türlerinin dahil edilmesine ihtiyaç vardır.

The main aim is to evaluate the environmental effects and potential problems of drilling activities in the Black Sea. The work consists of two parts: The first part focuses on the current pollution situation in the Black Sea, specifically offshore drilling activities. It is also mentioned about the effect of post-drilling in the Black Sea. The second part is the general environmental effects of drilling activities in the seas. These environmental effects were examined under three main headings: Produced water, drilling fluids and cutting wastes. Afterwards, they were examined within the scope of offshore drilling activities in the Black Sea., Çalışmanın ana hedefi Karadeniz’de yürütülen sondaj faaliyetlerinin olası çevresel etkilerini ve oluşabilecek sorunları değerlendirmektir. Çalışma iki kısımdan oluşur: Birinci kısım Karadeniz’de halihazırda mevcut olan kirlilik durumudur. Bu kirlilik durumu, açık deniz sondaj faaliyetleri özelinde incelenmiştir. Ek olarak, Karadeniz’de sondaj yapılan bölgelerin sondaj sonrasında nasıl etkilendiğine de değinilmiştir. İkinci kısım ise sondaj faaliyetlerinin denizlerdeki genel çevresel etkileridir. Bu çevresel etkiler; üretimden kaynaklı su, sondaj sıvıları ve sondaj deliği için kesme atıkları özelinde üç ana başlıkta incelenmiştir. Sonrasında bu başlıklar, Karadeniz’deki açık deniz sondaj faaliyetleri kapsamında incelenmiştir.

The uncertainty of climate policy and its impact on the petroleum markets has attracted the attention of many researchers over the past two decades. Many research works have been conducted regarding the reactions of each variable to the other and the present study aims to investigate the effects of climate policy uncertainty on the US petroleum markets by taking the Climate Policy Uncertainty Index (CPU) and the Petroleum Markets EMV tracker data (PEMV) based on monthly data which starts from Jan 2000 to March 2021. We employ multiple tests by using the VAR model to analyze the collected data. First, the results of the Granger causality test show no causality cause between the CPU and PEMV indices. Second, the outcomes of the Impulse response test show only the reactions come to the variables themselves positively but provide no meaning to the shocks of each variable to the other one. Lastly, the results of the variance decomposition test imply that the variables highly lagged with their dynamics which is about 98 percentile for each variable.

The aim of this study is to determine the preferencesof the plants in Kilis urban open spaces and to identify general user attitudestowards the ornamental plants. For this purpose, a questionnaire was conductedwith 100 participants who have been living in the city for at least 3 years.The majority of the participants who participated in the survey was between theages of 18-25, and they are student of a college or faculty. The participantswere asked to rank 10 different outdoor ornamental plants according to theirown favor. At the end of the study, Narcissussp. (daffodil) and Chaenomelesjaponica (japanese quince) were the most preferred species with 22% and 2%respectively. When the preferred properties of plants are examined, fragranceis credited with the highest values (74%), whereas visuality with the (65%),and coloring with the (37%). These results emphasize that the plants to be usedin urban green areas should be determined in accordance with theirpreferability by the users and the use of species that can adapt to the naturalenvironment with their aesthetic and functional characteristics should beexpanded., Çalışmanın amacıKilis kenti kentsel açık alanlarda yer alan bitkilerin kullanıcılar açısındantercih durumlarını ve süs bitkileri ile ilgili genel yaklaşımlarınıbelirlemektir. Bu amaçla, en az 3 yıldır şehirde ikamet ediyor olmak kaydıylabelirlenmiş olan, 100 katılımcı üzerinde bir anket çalışmasıgerçekleştirilmiştir. Ankete katkı sağlayanların çoğunluğu, 18-25 yaşaralığında olup, Yüksekokul veya Fakülte öğrencisidir. Katılımcılardan 10farklı dış mekân süs bitkisini, kendi beğenileri doğrultusunda sıralamalarıistenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda ilk sırada en çok tercih edilen tür %22 ile Narcissus sp.(nergis) , en az tercihedilen tür ise %2 ile Chaenomelesjaponica (bahar dalı) olarak belirlenmiştir. Bitkilerle ilgili tercihedilen özellikler incelendiğinde en yüksek değerler kokulu olması (%74),görsellik (%65), renkli olması (%37) olarak sıralanmaktadır. Sonuçlar kent içiyeşil alanlarda kullanılacak olan bitkilerin, kullanıcı istekleri doğrultusundabelirlenmesinin yanı sıra, estetik ve işlevsel özellikleri ile doğal çevreyeuyum sağlayabilen türlerinin kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması gerektiğinivurgular niteliktedir.

Play stimulates children's minds and allows them todevelop cognitively, physically and socially. This study was carried out toreveal the reliability of children's playgrounds and playground equipment whichare widely preferred today. In this regard, this study determines the compliancewith the TS EN 1176 series Standards. The standards have been determined for the playgroundequipment in the parks which are located in different neighborhoods within theboundaries of Çankaya district of Ankara province. The selection criteria forthe parks are based on their construction year, construction tender conditionsand area size. Each playground equipment was reviewed in its area. As a result, the study revealed whether theplaygrounds and playground equipment meet the European standard conditions. Alarge number inappropriate measurements or conditions in playgrounds have beendetermined. The most common negative outcome is that there is a lack of shockabsorber surface and the lack of structural integrity. Suggestions have beenmade for the elimination of the inappropriate conditions found in the playelements., Oyun, çocuklarınzihinlerini uyararak bilişsel, fiziksel ve sosyal olarak gelişmelerine olanaktanır. Bu araştırma, günümüzde yaygın olarak tercih edilen çocuk oyunalanlarının ve çocuk oyun donanımının güvenilirliğini ortaya koymak amacı ilegerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu makale kapsamında, Ankara’daki rekreasyon alanlarındabulunan çocuk oyun elemanları ve kurulu oldukları oyun alanlarının Türkiye’deyürürlükte bulunan TS EN 1176 seri standartlarına uygunluğunun belirlenmesiamaçlanmaktadır. Ankara ili,Çankaya ilçesi sınırları içinde farklı semtlerde yer alan ve yapım yılı, yapımihalesi koşulları ile alan büyüklüğü göz önünde bulundurularak belirlenenparklar içindeki çocuk oyun alanlarındaki oyun elemanları için standartlarsaptanarak her oyun alanı donanımı için muayeneler yapılmıştır. Çalışmasonucunda, belirlenen parklardaki çocuk oyun donanımının standartlardabelirtilen koşulları sağlayıp sağlamadığı irdelenmiştir. İncelenen oyun donanımındaçok sayıda uygunsuzluk tespit edilmiş olup en sık rastlanan olumsuzluklaryapısal bütünlüğün korunmaması ve darbe alanlarının boyut ve özellik yönüyleyetersizliği olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Oyun elemanlarında bulunan uygunsuzlukların nelerden kaynaklandığıtespit edilerek giderilmesine ilişkin öneriler getirilmiştir.

In order todetermine the optimum environments for grass germination Lolium perenne Topgun, Festucarubra Red Skin and Poapratensis Avalanche seeds, which are mostly used in grass field facilitieswithin the urban area of Çanakkale, were planted into four differentcultivation pans consisting of sand, shaft, garden soil and an equal mixture ofall three types of soil for germination, the speed and rate, colour and textureand consequently their performance, were evaluated. The evaluation of theirperformance rates ranged from “very low (1)” to “very high (4)”. In this studywhich was repeated four times for each grass seed, the most convenientenvironment was intended to be determined by considering the mean values ofeach cultivation pan. Moreover, Post-Hoc test was applied to these measurementsfor the verification. Seeds for each grass types showed the best performance inan equal mixture of the sand, shaft, and garden soil with the shaft, and gardensoil respectively in the cultivation pans. In order to confirm these resultsPost-Hoc test was applied to analyse the results and according to the descriptivestatistics, it showed that there existed a significant difference in favour ofthe ‘equal mixture’ for the first degree and in favour of ’shaft’ for thesecond degree. Additionally, according to variance analysis grass seeds indifferent growth environment showed significant reactions on the level of 0.05According to results confirming each other, grass field facility which increaseslife standards of people in Çanakkale, tested seeds of grass types within thecontext of this study aesthetically and functionally had the best potential ofuse in combination of equal, sand, shaft and garden soil., Çalışmada,Çanakkale kentseli çim alan tesisinde ağırlıklı kullanılan çim tohumlarından Loliumperenne Topgun (İngiliz Çimi),Festucarubra Red Skın (Kırmızı Yumak)ve Poapratensis Avalanche (ÇayırSalkım Otu) her birinin kum, mil, bahçe toprağı ve her üçünün eşit karışımındanoluşan 4 farklı yetiştirme tavasındaki çimlenme performanslarının belirlenmesiamaçlanmıştır. Kaplama hız ve oranları ile renk ve dokudan oluşanperformansları çok az, az, fazla ve çokfazla dereceleri kapsamında belirlenerek en uygun ortam/ortamlar tespitedilmiştir. Her çim tohumu için 4 tekerrürlü yapılan bu çalışmada tava başınaortalama ölçüm değerleri alınarak en uygun ortamın tespitine gidilmiştir. Sonuçolarak, her üç çim türüne ait tohum çeşitlerinin sırasıyla eşit karışım, mil,ve bahçe toprağının yer aldığı tavalarda en iyi performansı gösterdikleri tespitedilmiştir. Bu tespitleri teyit etmek için ortalama ölçüm değerlerine uygulananPost-Hoc Testi sonucunda 1. derecede “eşit karışım”, 2. derecede ise, “mil”lehine anlamlı fark olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca, varyans analizine göre de, çim tohumlarının farklı yetiştirme ortamlarınagösterdikleri tepkimelerin 0,05 düzeyinde önemli olduğu tespit edilmiştir(P

Demand for tourism and recreational activities isconstantly increasing and it varies from person to person as individualsrepresent different demographic background. Therefore, it is important toconsider demographic structure to determine the demand. This study was carried out to identify the effect ofdemographic structure on the recreational preferences and tendencies, anddemands of the urban population. A survey was conducted with a total of 543users in 11 districts of Tekirdağ province. Demographic characteristics wereanalyzed by gender, age, education and income. Statistical analysis showed thatdemographic structure influences to determine what the tourism and recreationalpreferences, the reasons of their chosen and frequency of activities. Particularlythe educational background is a main determinant of recreational and tourismpreferences. These results show parallelism with the similar studies conductedon local scale., Günümüzdeturizm ve rekreasyonel aktivitelere olan talep sürekli artmaktadır. Buaktivitelerin sağlıklı bir şekilde gerçekleştirilebilmesi için faaliyetlereolan talebin, bireylere göre farklılıklar gösterse de belirlenmesi önemtaşımaktadır.Buaraştırma, halkın demografik yapısının rekreasyonel tercihlere etkisininaraştırılması ve kent halkının rekreasyonel eğilim ve taleplerinin belirlenmesiamacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Tekirdağ il genelinde yürütülençalışmada 11 ilçede toplam 543 kullanıcı ile anket yapılmıştır. Ankettedemografik özelliklerden cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim ve gelir durumu ele alınaraksonuçlar istatistiki olarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda demografikyapının; bireylerin turizm ve rekreasyonel tercihlerinin neler olduğununbelirlenmesine, tercih etme sebeplerine ve aktivite sıklığına etkisinin olduğu tespitedilmiştir. Özellikle kullanıcıların eğitim durumunun bütün aktivitelerde etkenolduğu görülmüştür. Bu sonuçlar yerel ölçekte yapılan benzer çalışmalarla paralellikgöstermektedir.

Mevcut bir yelkenli deniz aracının karbon salınımı yapan sistemleri incelenmiş, tekne performans değerleri belirlenmiş ve “sıfır emisyon” hedefi ile yelkenli deniz aracına entegre yenilenebilir enerji sistemleri ve tasarım değişiklikleri çalışılmıştır. Gerçek meteorolojik şartlar ve işletim senaryoları ile enerji üretimi, depolanması ve tüketimi simülasyon analizleri ile gösterilmiştir. Yenilenebilir enerji üretim birimleri iki kaynak grubu olarak değerlendirilmiştir. İlk grupta, statik enerji üretim sistemleri olarak adlandırılan ve teknenin seyir, demirde bekleme veya limanda bağlı iken enerji üretebilen sistemleri içermektedir. Bu kısımda güneş enerji panelleri ile iki rüzgâr türbini tasarımda kullanılmıştır. Dinamik enerji üretim sistemleri olarak adlandırdığımız ikinci guruptaki birimler, teknenin yelkenli seyri esnasında su akışı enerjisinden faydalanmak amacıyladır. Bunlar, iki adet su türbini ile itici ve aynı zamanda enerji üretici birimi olarak da çalışabilen bir elektrik motorunu içermektedir. Her bir enerji üretim sistemi tasarımları performans ve 3-boyutlu yerleşim bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Önerilen sistemin doğrulaması üç ayrı senaryo analizi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlk iki senaryo ile Marmara denizinde tipik yelkenli tekne operasyonlarının yapılabildiği gösterilmiştir. Üçüncü senaryo olan acil durum senaryosu ile gün içerisinde, rüzgar şiddeti sıfır iken ve tamamen dolu bataryalar ile, seyir senaryosu programı yürütülmüş ve bataryaların %35 enerji kullandığı hesaplanmıştır. Bu senaryo çalışmaları ile normal yat tipi bir teknenin tüm operasyonlarının tasarımı çalışılan yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları ile karşılandığı gösterilmiştir. Teknenin tüm operasyonlarında karadan elektrik bağlantısı gerekmediği gösterilmiştir.

Birçok bilimsel araştırmaya göre, küresel kaynakların yaklaşık %40’ını tüketen yapı sektörü dünyanın en büyük atık sorumlusu olarak yeryüzünde gerçekleşen sera gazı emisyonlarının yaklaşık yarısından sorumlu tutulmaktadır. Bu durum, yeryüzü sıcaklığının artmasına neden olarak, küresel çapta birçok felaketin kaynağı olan iklim değişikliğini meydana getirmektedir. Günümüzde, sürdürülebilirlik kavramını yapı sektörüne dahil ederek, çevresel etkilerin hesaplanmasında kullanılan metodolojilerin başında gelen Yaşam Döngüsü Değerlendirmesi (Life Cycle Assessment-LCA) yöntemi, bilimsel çalışmalarda sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. İlk aşamalarında bile uygulanması oldukça zaman alıcı ve maliyetli olan LCA yöntemi, çok farklı kaynaklardan geniş bir veri yelpazesine erişim gerektiren, oldukça veri yoğun bir uygulamadır. Dolayısıyla, tasarım sürecinin iç içe geçmiş ve karmaşık doğasından kaynaklanan zorluklarla sürekli olarak karşı karşıya kalan, yapı planlamasında en önemli karar verici olan mimarlar, çevresel etkinin hesaplanarak tasarım süreciyle bütünleştirilmesi noktasında büyük zorluklar yaşamaktadır. Bu durumun bir sonucu olarak, son yıllarda gerçekleştirilen birçok çalışma LCA sürecinin iyileştirilmesi ve basitleştirilmesine odaklanmıştır. Metin tabanlı programlama dillerinin karmaşıklığı ve kullanmaya yeni başlayanlar için zorluğunun aksine Görsel Programlama Dili (VPL), çok daha kolay ve hızlı yorumlamayı sağlayan görsel öğeler kullanmaktadır. Bu makalede; birçok bilimsel çalışmada ve mimari uygulamada kullanılan iki farklı VPL aracının, uygulandığı esas yazılımlar (Rhinoceros 3D ve Autodesk Revit) çerçevesinde, erken mimari tasarım aşamasında çevresel etkilerin değerlendirilmesine sağladığı katkıların karşılaştırılarak, avantaj ve dezavantajlarının tespit edilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Belirlenen hedef doğrultusunda çalışmada, kapsamlı literatür analizi sonucu elde edilen verilerin kıyaslanarak sentezlendiği bir yöntem uygulanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında; yapı sektörünün çevresel etkisi, yapı sektöründe özelinde LCA metodolojisi, görsel programlama dili (VPL) kavramı, görsel programlama dillerinin (Grasshopper ve Dynamo) mimari tasarım sürecinde kullanımı ve iki farklı yazılım olan Rhinoceros 3D ve Autodesk Revit içerisinde VPL kullanımının durumu irdelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları olarak ise; yapı sektörü kaynaklı karbon salınımının azaltılabilmesine yönelik ilk kararların verildiği erken tasarım aşamasında, tasarıma katılan karar verici paydaşlar tarafından kolaylıkla uygulanabilecek, dinamik bir LCA hesaplamasına imkân tanıyan, görsel programlama dili destekli (VPL) çevresel etki hesaplamasının önemi elde edilmiştir., According to many scientific studies, the construction sector, which consumes about 40% of global resources, is responsible for about half of the greenhouse gas emissions on earth as the world's largest waste maker. This situation creates climate change, which is the source of many disasters on a global scale, by causing the earth’s temperature to increase. Today, the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method, which is one of the leading methodologies used in calculating environmental impacts by incorporating the concept of sustainability into the construction sector, is frequently used in scientific studies. LCA method, which is very time-consuming and costly to implement even in its early stages, is a very data-intensive application that requires access to a wide range of data from many different sources. Therefore, architects, who are the most critical decision-makers in construction planning, and who are constantly faced with the challenges arising from the intertwined and complex nature of the design process, have great difficulties in calculating the environmental impact and integrating it into the design process. As a result of this situation, many studies in recent years have focused on improving and simplifying the LCA process. Contrary to the complexity and difficulty for beginners with text-based programming languages, Visual Programming Language (VPL) uses visual elements that make interpretation much easier and faster. This study aimed to determine the advantages and disadvantages of two different VPL tools used in many scientific studies and architectural applications, by comparing their contributions to the evaluation of environmental impacts at the early architectural design stage, taking into account the main software (Rhinoceros 3D and Autodesk Revit). In line with the determined target, a method in which the data obtained as a result of comprehensive literature analysis was synthesized by comparing was applied. Scope of work; The environmental impact and current situation of the building industry, the LCA methodology in the building industry, the concept of visual programming language (VPL), the use of visual programming languages (Grasshopper and Dynamo) in the architectural design process, and VPL in two different software Rhinoceros 3D and Autodesk Revit usage has been examined. As the results of the study, the importance of visual programming language supported (VPL) environmental impact calculation, which allows a dynamic LCA calculation that can be easily applied by the decision-making stakeholders participating in the design, has been gained in the early design phase, where the first decisions are made to reduce carbon emissions from the building sector.

Doğal ve kültürel mirasın yaşayan temsilcileri olan anıt ağaçların tespiti, tescili, korunması, gerçekliğe dayalı dijital belgelenmesi ve sürdürülebilir bir anlayışla gelecek nesillere aktarılması önem arz etmektedir. Anıt ağaçların gerçekliğe dayalı dokümantasyonunda fotogrametri tekniği güvenilir ve doğru bir yaklaşım sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, anıt ağaçların korunması ve görselleştirilmesi için etkili ve düşük maliyetli bir araç olarak fotogrametri tekniğine dayalı gerçekçi ve yüksek doğrulukta üç boyutlu (3B) modelinin oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. İş akışı Kütahya ili, Domaniç ilçesi, Domur Köyü’nde yer alan Mızık Çamı Tabiat Anıtına uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, anıt ağaçların 3B dijital dokümantasyonu ve analizi çalışmalarında fotogrametri tekniğinin doğruluk, hız, maliyet, verimlilik ve ürün çeşitliliği açısından büyük avantajlar sağladığını göstermiştir. Çalışmada açıklanan yaklaşım kültürel miras eserlerini daha erişilebilir ve kapsayıcı hale getirmek için yeni fırsatlar sunmaktadır., It is important to identify, register, protect monumental trees that are living representatives of natural and cultural heritage, to transfer them to next generation with a digital documentation based on reality and a sustainable understanding. The photogrammetry technique offers a reliable and accurate approach to the reality-based documentation of monumental trees. In this study, it is aimed to create a realistic and highly accurate three-dimensional (3D) model based on photogrammetry technique as an effective and low-cost tool for the preservation and visualization of monumental trees. The workflow was applied to the Mızık Pine Natural Monument located in Domur Village, Domaniç district, Kütahya province. The results of the study showed that the photogrammetry technique provides great advantages in terms of accuracy, speed, cost, efficiency and product diversity in 3D digital documentation and analysis of monumental trees. The approach described in the study provides new opportunities to make works of cultural heritage more accessible and inclusive.

Binalarda enerjinin büyük bir bölümü ısınma ihtiyacını karşılamak için kullanılmaktadır. Isıtma enerjisi ihtiyacını etkileyen faktörler arasında binaları çevreleyen kabuk özellikleri ve binaların yönlenme özellikleri gösterilebilir. Bina kabuğu opak ve saydam (pencere ve duvar) yüzeylerden oluşmaktadır. Bu yüzeylere gelen güneş ışınlarından faydalanılarak binaların ısıtma enerjisi ihtiyacında azalmalar sağlanabilmektedir. Aynı zamanda binaların bulunduğu bölgenin çevre koşullarına göre yönlenme özellikleri de güneş enerjisi kazancında etkili olmaktadır. Bundan dolayı bu çalışma ile binaların pencere/ duvar oranları ve yönlenme özellikleri ile güneş enerjisi kazancı arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında, farklı yönlenme ve pencere/duvar oranlarına sahip alternatifler için güneş enerjisi kazançları hesaplanmıştır. Hesaplamalar yapılırken TSE 825 de yer alan hesaplama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar tablo ve grafiklerle karşılaştırmalar yapılarak ortaya konmuştur. Bu çalışma ile tasarım aşamasında binaların yönlenme ve pencere/duvar oranlarına göre güneş enerjisi kazançları dikkate alınarak çözümler üretmeye yardımcı olabilecek bir çerçeve ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır., Most of the energy in buildings is used for heating energy needs. Among the factors affecting the heating energy need are the building shell properties and the orientation characteristics of the buildings. The building shell consists of opaque and transparent (window and wall) surfaces. By making use of the sun's rays coming to these surfaces, the heating energy needs of the buildings can be reduced. At the same time, the orientation of the buildings according to the environmental conditions of the region is also effective in solar energy gain. Therefore, in this study, the relationship between the window/wall ratios (WWR), orientation properties and solar energy gain of the buildings was investigated. Within the scope of the study, solar energy gains were calculated for alternatives with different orientation and WWR. While making the calculations, the calculation method in TSE 825 was used. The obtained results were presented by making comparisons with tables and graphics. With this study, it is aimed to present a framework that can help produce optimum solutions by considering the solar energy gains according to the orientation and WWR of the buildings during the design phase.

Biophilic designs are one of the effective design approaches to sustain the human-nature relationship. Interaction with nature has a significant impact on the physical and mental health of individuals. Botanical gardens are also special gardens that help individuals to have a positive attitude towards nature by presenting the beauties of nature to their users, make them feel a part of nature, and especially allow children to satisfy their curiosity towards nature. In this study, it is aimed to scrutinize the biophilic design criteria in the case of Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanic Garden. For this purpose, the 14 criteria of biophilic design (visual connection with nature, non-visual connection with nature, non-rhythmic sensory stimuli, thermal and airflow variability, presence of water, dynamic and diffuse light, connection with natural systems, biomorphic forms and patterns, material connection with nature, complexity and order, prospect, refuge, mystery, and risk/peril) were evaluated using on-site observations and photographic techniques. It has been determined that the botanical garden has only deficiency in terms of material connection with nature among these criteria, and suggestions have been made at this point. Based on the idea that people will be happier and healthier through biophilic designs, suggestions were proposed that biophilic design criteria should be generalized., Biyofilik tasarımlar insan-doğa ilişkisinin sürdürülebilmesi için etkili tasarım yaklaşımlarından biridir. Doğayla etkileşimin bireylerin fiziksel ve ruhsal sağlığı üzerinde önemli etkisi vardır. Botanik bahçeleri de kullanıcılarına doğanın güzelliklerini sunarak bireylerin doğaya karşı pozitif tutum sergilemesine yardımcı olan, kendilerini doğanın bir parçası hissetmelerini sağlayan, özellikle çocukların doğaya karşı meraklarını gidermeye imkan tanıyan özel bahçelerdir. Bu çalışmada Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanik Bahçesi örneğinde biyofilik tasarım kriterlerinin irdelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda biyofilik tasarımın 14 kriterinin (doğayla görsel bağlantı, doğayla görsel olmayan bağlantı, ritmik olmayan görsel uyarı, termal ve hava akışı değişkenliği, suyun varlığı, dinamik ve dağınık ışık, doğal sistemlerle bağlantı, biyomorfik biçimler ve dokular, doğayla malzeme bağlantısı ve karmaşa ve düzen, olasılık/manzara, sığınak, gizem ve risk/tehlike) yerinde gözlemler ve fotoğraflama tekniği kullanılarak değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Botanik bahçesinin bu kriterlerden sadece doğayla malzeme bağlantısı noktasında eksilikleri olduğu belirlenmiş ve bu noktada önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Biyofilik tasarımlar sayesinde insanların daha mutlu ve sağlıklı olacağı düşüncesinden hareketle biyofilik tasarım kriterlerinin yaygınlaştırılması gerektiği yönünde önerilerde de bulunulmuştur.

Historical areas in urban or rural areas are one of the unique treasures of today's civilizations. In addition to having the characteristic of determining the identity of the place where it is located, it is important that historical areas are sustainable and that the natural landscape structure is preserved. In addition, it is important to make different landscape applications without damaging the existing area to increase the tourism capacity of historical areas. Vertical gardens contribute to the biodiversity of the area where they are located while creating an aesthetic environment and making the area a centre of attraction for tourism use. In this study, a vertical garden design was made for Hasan Mevsuf Artillery Monument and 18 Mart Hasan Mevsuf Martyrdom in Çınarlı village in Çanakkale Dardanos location and details for its implementation were prepared. Within the scope of the study, suitable places for vertical gardening were determined in historical areas based on observations and photographs. Vertical garden systems using felt were preferred as the application method for the determined places. The selection criteria of the plants used in the systems were determined according to the information observed in the fields. In this context, the consistency and accuracy of the selection criteria have been proven by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. In both historical areas, designs were made using AutoCAD 2015 and SketchUp 2018 programs. It is foreseen that the vertical gardens planned within the scope of the application will contribute aesthetically and ecologically to the historical areas. At the same time, sustainable approaches can be planned for historical areas with the works for the maintenance, protection and use that will be brought with these practices., Kentsel ya da kırsal alanlarda bulunan tarihi alanlar günümüz medeniyetlerinin sahip olduğu yegâne hazinelerden birisidir. Tarihi alanlar, bulunduğu yerin kimliğini belirleyici özelliğe sahip olmasının yanı sıra sürdürülebilir olması ve doğal peyzaj yapısının korunması önemlidir. Bunun yanında tarihi alanların turizm kapasitesinin arttırılması için mevcut alana zarar vermeden farklı peyzaj uygulamalarının da yapılması önemlidir. Dikey bahçeler, bulundukları alanın biyoçeşitliliğine katkı sağlarken, estetik bir ortam yaratır ve turizm kullanımı açısından alanı cazibe merkezi haline getirir. Bu çalışmada, Çanakkale Dardanos mevkii, Çınarlı köyünde yer alan, Hasan Mevsuf Topçu Anıtı ve 18 Mart Hasan Mevsuf Şehitliği’ne dikey bahçe tasarımı yapılmış ve uygulanmasına yönelik detaylar hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında tarihi alanlarda, gözlem ve fotoğraflara bağlı olarak, dikey bahçe uygulaması için uygun yerler belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen yerler için keçe kullanılan dikey bahçe sistemleri, uygulama yöntemi olarak tercih edilmiştir. Sistemlerde kullanılan bitkilerin seçim kriterleri, alanlarda gözlemlenen bilgilere göre belirlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci (AHP) yöntemi kullanılarak seçim kriterlerinin tutarlığı ve doğruluğu kanıtlanmıştır. Her iki tarihi alanda AutoCAD 2015 ve SketchUP 2018 programları kullanılarak tasarımlar yapılmıştır. Uygulama kapsamında planlanan dikey bahçelerin tarihi alanlar için estetik ve ekolojik katkı sağlayacağı öngörülmektedir. Aynı zamanda söz konusu uygulamaların beraberinde getireceği bakım, koruma ve kullanmaya yönelik çalışmalarla tarihi alanlar için sürdürülebilir yaklaşımlar planlanabilecektir

Several recently conducted studies have focused on different technologies that have been tested for improving photovoltaic (PV) modules’ performances and increasing the performances of solar systems. One of the most important of these techniques is the development of a heat exchanger design. According to extensive literature reviews, most photovoltaic panels use circular tubes, through which, water flows to carry out the cooling process. In the current experimental study, a different design has been applied, and square tubes have been used for increasing the panel-cooling tubes’ contact area. The hybrid photovoltaic thermal (PV/T) module’s performance has been evaluated and compared using a square-shaped copper tube in two types of heat exchangers, serpentine and head & riser (PV/Ts and PV/TH&R). At flow rates 0.5 and 1 L/m, outdoor experiments were conducted during August 2019 in Karabük city, Turkey. Results show that in case of PV/T modules, the overall efficiency value was maximum 48.6% at 0.5 L/m while its average value was 59.4% at 1 L/m for serpentine heat exchanger. The mentioned values were 41.7% at 0.5 L/m and 54.7% at 1 L/m for head & riser heat exchanger, respectively. Furthermore, from the perspective of energy, the serpentine heat exchanger design with flow rate 1L/m showed better photovoltaic energy conversion in comparison with other designs and flow rates.

The effects of climate change are seen as excessive rainfall, erosion, floods, air pollution, water scarcity and drought in cities. Green infrastructure applications are used to reduce the effects of climate change in urban areas and to ensure environmental sustainability. With green infrastructure applications, by using bioretention systems as an ecological solution instead of structural solutions, both the treatment of stormwater from pollutants and the urban hydrological cycle are provided. Depending on the different land uses, various organic and inorganic substances carried by stormwater deteriorate the surface water quality. Bioretention systems reduce the amount of stormwater while at the same time reducing the pollutants in the water through physical, chemical and biological processes.In this study, the removal efficiencies of nitrogen, phosphorus and some heavy metals obtained in field studies were examined by considering the removal processes of various bioretention systems. İklim değişikliğinin kentsel alanlarda etkilerini azaltmak ve çevresel sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanması için yeşil altyapı uygulamaları karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Yeşil altyapı uygulamaları ile, yapısal çözümler yerine ekolojik çözüm olarak biyotutma sistemlerinin kullanılması ile hem yağmur suyunun kirleticilerden arıtılması hem de kentsel hidrolojik döngü sağlanmaktadır. Farklı alan kullanımlarına bağlı olarak yağmur suyuyla taşınan çeşitli organik ve inorganik maddeler yüzey suyu kalitesini bozmaktadır. Biyotutma sistemleri, akışa geçen yağmur suyu miktarını azaltırken aynı zamanda sudaki kirleticileri fiziksel, kimyasal ve biyolojik süreçlerle azaltmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, çeşitli biyotutma sistemlerinin giderim süreçleri göz önünde bulundurularak saha çalışmalarında elde edilen azot, fosfor ve bazı ağır metallerin giderim verimleri incelenmiştir. Giderim veriminin; kirletici tür ve konsantrasyonu, arazi kullanım çeşitleri, biyotutma ortamı olarak hazırlanan toprak karışımı ve yağış miktarına bağlı olarak değiştiği görülmüştür.

Türkiye’nin en büyük metropol kenti olan İstanbul’un merkezi konumunda yer alan ve ticari ve sosyo-kültürel anlamda önemli yere sahip olan bazı alışveriş caddelerinin ele alındığı bu çalışmada, İstiklal Caddesi, Nişantaşı Bölgesi Caddeleri (Rumeli Caddesi, Teşvikiye Caddesi, Abdi İpekçi Caddesi, Maçka Caddesi) Bağdat Caddesi, General Asım Gündüz Caddesi, Fevzipaşa Caddesi, Bakırköy Bölgesi Caddeleri (Fahri Korutürk Caddesi, Ebuzziya Caddesi), Marmara Caddesi ve 58. Bulvar Caddesi çalışma materyali olarak belirlenmiştir. Seçilen sekiz caddenin günümüze kadar geçirdiği değişimler ile birlikte yapısal ve bitkisel tasarımı açısından mevcut durum tespiti yapılarak olumsuzluklar belirlenmiş ve öneriler getirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak alışveriş caddelerinin yoğun kullanıma sahip, birçok ulusal ve uluslararası markaların yer aldığı caddeler olmakla birlikte her biri tarihsel süreçte ayrı bir önem taşıdığı ve kentin bağlantı noktaları üzerinde yer aldığı görülmüştür. Alışveriş caddelerine ulaşım sıkıntısının bulunmadığı fakat yoğun kullanıma bağlı olarak otopark sıkıntısının yaşandığı tespit edilmiştir. Caddelerin donatı ve bitkisel elemanlar bakımından tasarım açısından nispeten iyi olmakla birlikte birtakım eksikliklerinin de bulunduğu saptanmıştır. Özellikle İstiklal ve Nişantaşı Bölgesi Caddeleri, dar caddeler olup oturma birimlerinin eksik olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Nişantaşı Bölgesi, Bağdat ve Fevzipaşa Caddeleri’nde ise yaya araç ve trafiğinin birbirinden ayrılması gerekmektedir. Ayrıca bitkisel öğelerin olmadığı caddelerde bitki kullanımı ile tasarımların desteklenmelidir. Caddelerdeki olumsuzlukların giderilmesiyle etkili kullanımın sağlanması yanı sıra bütüncül yaklaşımlar ile tasarımlarının güçlendirilmesi gerekmektedir., This study addresses some shopping streets that are located in the center of Istanbul, the largest metropolitan city of Turkey, and are important in commercial and socio-cultural terms. In this context, Istiklal Street, the streets of Nişantaşı Area (Rumeli Street, Teşvikiye Street, Abdi İpekçi Street, Maçka Street), Bağdat Street, General Asım Gündüz Street, Fevzipaşa Street, the streets of Bakırköy District (Fahri Korutürk Street, Ebuzziya Street), Marmara Street, and 58th Bulvar Street were determined as the study material. Along with the changes that the selected eight streets have undergone until today, the current situation in terms of structural and plant design has been determined, negativities have been ascertained and suggestions have been made. As a result, although shopping streets are heavily used and have many national and international brands, each of them was observed to have different importance in the historical process and is located on the connection points of the city. No problem was determined about transportation to the shopping streets, but there is a problem of parking due to heavy use. The study concluded that although the streets are relatively good in terms of design, equipment, and plant elements, there are also some deficiencies. Especially İstiklal and Nişantaşı District are the Avenues and it has been determined that the repairs are incomplete. To leave Nişantaşı District, Bağdat and Fevzi Avenues, you need to take a pedestrian-vehicle and leave. In addition, the designs should support the use on the streets where there are no designs. In order to design the products on the streets, it is necessary to design them in a holistic way so that they can be used effectively.

The leading threat facing the world today is global warming triggered by the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. The increase in greenhouse gas was caused by use of fossil fuels and increasing energy de-mand. One of the sectors with the fastest increase in energy demand in recent years is the IT sector. During the pandemic period started in 2019, the energy demand of the information sector has increased even more with the remote educations, meetings and studies. In this study, it is aimed to compare remote education and formal education in universities in terms of carbon footprint. In this context, carbon footprint evalua-tion was made for formal and remote education in line with the data obtained from the students of the graduate course named Green Informatics, which is given at Konya Selcuk University, Faculty of Technol-ogy. In emission calculations, the method recommended by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was used. Carbon footprint of graduate students are calculated as, 132.48 kg-CO2/semester with formal education and 50,72 kg-CO2/semester with remote education. Final CO2 emissions has ob-served to decrease by 62% with remote education. In formal education, CO2 emission originating from transportation has been the factor with the highest emission value with 116.76 kg-CO2/term. The evaluation of results showed that the emission value of remote education is lower than the emission value of formal education. In addition, remote education has been found to contribute significantly to the decrease in the carbon footprint value originating from education., Günümüzde dünyanın karşı karşıya kaldığı en büyük tehdit sera gazı emisyonunun artması ile tetiklenen küresel ısınmadır. Sera gazının artması özellikle fosil yakıtlarının kullanılması ve artan enerji talebi ile oluşmuştur. Son yıllarda enerji talebi en hızlı şekilde artan sektörlerden birsi de bilişim sektörüdür. 2019 yılında başlayan pandemi döneminde bilişim sektörünün enerji talebi eğitimlerin, toplantıların ve çalışma-ların uzaktan yapılması ile daha da artmıştır. Bu çalışmada, üniversitelerde uygulanan uzaktan eğitim ile örgün eğitimin, karbon ayak izi açısından karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, Konya Selçuk Üniversitesi, Teknoloji Fakültesi’nde verilmekte olan Yeşil Bilişim isimli yüksek lisans dersinin öğrencile-rinden elde edinilen veriler doğrultusunda örgün ve uzaktan eğitim için karbon ayak izi değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Emisyon hesaplamalarında, Hükümetler Arası İklim Değişikliği Paneli (IPCC) tarafından öneri-len ve en temel yöntem olan Tier-1 yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Hesaplamalar sonucunda yüksek lisans öğren-cilerinin karbon ayak izi örgün eğitim ile 132,48 kg-CO2/dönem, uzaktan eğitim ile ise 50,72 kg-CO2/dönem olarak bulunmuştur. Uzaktan eğitim ile nihai CO2 emisyonunun %62 azaldığı görülmüştür. Örgün eğitimde ulaşımdan kaynaklanan CO2 emisyonu 116,76 kg-CO2/dönem ile en yüksek emisyon değerine sahip olan etken olmuştur. Sonuçlar değerlendirildiğinde uzaktan eğitim için emisyon değerinin, örgün eğitim için emisyon değerine oranla daha düşük olduğu görülmektedir. Ayrıca, uzaktan eğitimin eğitim kaynaklı karbon ayak izi değerinin düşmesine önemli katkı sağladığı ortaya çıkmıştır.

Dünya nüfusunun artması ve insanların tüketime odaklanmasından kaynaklı katı atıklarda artış gözlenmiştir. İnsanların tarih boyunca atıklar ile mücadele halindedir özellikle atıkların toplandığı alanlarda meydana gelen ekolojik ve çevresel sorunlar insan sağlığını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Katı atıkları toplama alanları işlevlerini tamamladıktan sonra ıslah edilip tekrar kullanıma kazandırılmalıdır. Kazanımı sağlanan bu alanlar kentte insanların rekreasyonel faliyetlerini gerçekleştirebilmesinde önemli rol oynar. Bu çalışmanın amacı Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi yerleşkesine yakın olan, Çanakkale belediyesi tarafından daha önce kullanılmış ve işlevini tamamladıktan sonra ıslah edilmiş alanın incelenmesi ve kente kazandırılması adına yapılabilecek çalışmalar hakkında öneriler üretilmesidir. Litaratür taraması yöntemine dayanan bu çalışmada Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Terzioğlu yerleşkesi yakınında bulunan Sarıcaeli köyü sınırları içerisinde bulunan eski çöp depolama alanın ıslahı ve sonrasında kente kazandırılması ile ilgili öneriler sunulmuştur. Sunulan veriler ışığında alanın yakınında bulunan ve Çanakkale savaşında önemli bir yere sahip olan Müstahkem mevkii gözetleme alanına yakın olmasından kaynaklı görsellik ön planda tutulmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında incelenen eski çöp depolama alanın tarihte kullanımı ile ilgili bilgi paylaşımı ve mevcut alan fotoğraflama işlemleri ve analizleri yapılmıştır. Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Terzioğlu Yerleşkesi yakınında bulunan katı atık depolama alanı içerisinde yapılmış olan ıslah çalışması sonrasında alanın bitkilendirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunulmuş ve sunulan öneriler ışığında alanın daha etkin kullanımı amaçlanmıştır.

Recycled aggregates and geopolymer binders are green materials contributing to the sustainability of the planet. We investigated the performance of geopolymer concrete using recycled aggregates (fly ash (FA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS)) related to their mechanical properties. Geopolymer concrete were prepared by mixing 50% low calcium fly ash, 50% GGBS, sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate solution, Coarse aggregate (Natural coarse aggregate, Recycled coarse aggregate), Fine aggregate (Crushed Sand, Riverbed Sand) and elastoplastic fibers. Recycled aggregate used was obtained locally from Istanbul, Turkey. To explore the efficiency of recycled aggregate, during the production of geopolymer concrete, partial replacement of recycled coarse aggregate with natural aggregate was made in 10, 20, 30, and 40%. To compare the results, geopolymer concrete containing 100% natural aggregates was made. Since concrete gains strength with time after casting, On Day-28 and Day-90, the compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength of those geopolymer based concrete were examined. Results of the test showed that the compressive strength of 28 and 90 days w.r.t. different ratios was 26.8, 25.3, 24.2, 23.1, 23 MPa, and 30.2, 28.1, 27.0, 25.2, 25.0, 23.0 Mpa respectively, while split tensile strength was 1.9, 1.5, 1.5, 1.4, 1.4 MPa and 2.0, 1.9, 1.9, 1.6, 1.5 MPa respectively, and the ultimate flexural strength of tested beams were in the range of 3.53 to 4.54 MPa. Although the general performance of the produced samples was showing a decrement with the increasing ratio of recycle aggregates, the obtained results indicated that using recycled aggregate is up to some extent of 30% is beneficial in terms of strength.

İçinde bulundukları dönemin; duygu, düşünce ve yaşam koşullarına göre şekillenen ve o döneme ilişkin önemli birer somut kaynak rolü üstlenen tarih çevreler, kültürel peyzajın önemli bileşenlerindendir. Bu bağlamda sürdürülebilirliklerinin sağlanması da önem taşıyan bir yaklaşım olarak benimsenmelidir. Tarihi çevrelere ilişkin korumada konut ve bahçesi gibi en küçük ölçekten, sokak, doku, kent, bölge gibi en büyük ölçeğe doğru yapısal ve doğal peyzajları içine alan bütüncül koruma anlayışı ile hareket edilmesi; restorasyon vb. yenileme işlemlerinin bu çevrede gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Ancak, gerçekleştirilen çalışmalarda konut bahçesine yönelik restorasyon çalışmalarına yeteri kadar önem verilmediği gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında, Tarihi Kentler Birliği’ne üye olan Bartın kentinde yer alan tescilli yapılardan Hacı Eminler konut bahçesi araştırma alanı olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma yöntemi literatür taraması, arazi çalışmaları, verilerin analizi, değerlendirilmesi, sonuç ve öneriler olmak üzere beş aşamada ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmada, tarihi konut bahçelerinin restorasyonu sırasında neler yapılması gerektiği ve yasal süreçlerin ilerleyişi/eksiklikleri üzerine değerlendirmeler gerçekleştirilmiş, konut bahçesine ilişkin mekânsal saptamalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, bütün bu veriler dikkate alınarak alan özelinde peyzaj restorasyon projesi ölçütleri ve proje önerisinde bulunulmuştur., Historical environment which they are shaped according to feelings, thoughts and living conditions and assuming the role of an important concrete resource for the period they were in are important components of the cultural landscape. However, it has been observed that the restoration works for the house garden are not given enough importance in the studies. Within the scope of the study, the Hacı Eminler house garden, one of the registered buildings in Bartın city, which is a member of the Historical Cities Union, was selected as the research area. The research method has been handled in five stages: literature review, field studies, data analysis, evaluation, results and recommendations. In addition, evaluations were made on what should be done during the restoration of historical house gardens and the progress / deficiencies of legal processes, and spatial determinations regarding the house garden were made. As a result, taking into account all these data, landscape restoration project criteria and project proposal were made

In this study, Hybrid Renewable Power System (HRPS) has been designed to meet the energy requirement of Istanbul Gedik University Vocational School (IGUVS) in an optimum way. The energy requirement will be achieved mainly with wind and solar power generation system. The hybrid regenerative power system will be requested from the network when it can’t meet its energy needs. The optimum configuration of grid-connected solar/wind hybrid power generation system will be determined by considering the wind speed data and solar radiation data of the location of IGUVS. Moreover, sensitivity analysis will be carried out taking into consideration the wind speed and solar radiation values. If the optimum hybrid power generation system specified is used, the carbon emission values obtained will be examined.

Son zamanlardaTRB1 bölgesinin kalkınmasında kırsal turizm sektörü en önemli faktörlerden biriolmuştur. Bölgenin en önemi turizm potansiyelleri; tarih ve kültür, doğa,sağlık ve termal, inanç ve kış turizmi türleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Bingölilinin kırsal turizm potansiyelinin belirlenmesi amacı ile yapılmış olan buçalışmada konu hakkındaki literatür taraması yapılmış ve aynı zamanda yörehalkının konu hakkında ki beklenti ve eğilimleri araştırılmış, olumlu veolumsuz yönleri/etkileri analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın materyalini, Bingölili şehir merkezinde ikamet eden bireylerden yüz yüze görüşme tekniğikullanılarak toplanan yatay kesit verileri oluşturmuştur. Araştırma bulgularınagöre; özellikle yeni yapısı ile gelişmeye açık olan kış turizmi, sağlık vetermal turizmi ve birçok turizm uygulamasını kapsayan yüzen adalar ilin öndegelen turizm potansiyelleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Bireylerin çoğunluğunun Bingöl’de turizmin gelişmesinin olumlu sonuçlardoğuracağına inandıkları belirlenmiştir. Bireylerin %55.8’i yörenin gelişmesiiçin kaplıcalarla ilgili faaliyetlerin, %53.5’i ise festivallerle ilgilifaaliyetlerin geliştirilmesi gerektiğini ifade etmişlerdir. Sonuç olarak;Bingöl ilindeki bütün kurum ve kuruluşların bu konu üzerinde daha fazladurması, bu konuda uygulanabilir strateji ve politikalar belirlemelerigerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır., Recently,the rural tourism sector has been one of the most important factors in thedevelopment of the TRB1 region. The most important tourism potentials of theregion are determined; history and culture, nature, health and thermal, beliefand winter tourism types. This study is concerned with rural tourism potentialof Bingol. Literature survey was conducted on the subject, opinions anddispositions of the local population were investigated, favourable and unfavourablesides/effects were analysed. The material of the study will be horizontalcross-sectional data collected from face-to-face interview techniques fromindividuals residing in the city center of Bingöl province. According toresearch findings; As the leading tourism potential of the province are definedthat especially with its new structure cover winter tourism, health and thermaltourism and many floating islands tourism applications which are open todevelopment. It has been determined that the majority of the individualsbelieve that the development of tourism in Bingöl will have positive results.55.8% of the individuals stated that activities related to spas should bedeveloped and 53.5% of activities related to festivals should be developed forthe development of the region. As a result; All the institutions andorganizations in Bingöl province need more attention on this issue and it isnecessary to determine the applicable strategies and policies in this regard.

The aim of this study is to examine the timewisechange of the spatial standard regarding the active green areas having animportant place within Turkish development legislations and Kayseri urbanplans. The minimum standards expected for the active green areas in thedevelopment legislation from the Ottoman Empire until today, the valuesexpected in four urban plans of Kayseri prepared in 1933, 1944, 1975 and 1986and the values observed at the end of the period have been examined within theframe of the descriptive research method.The concept of active green area in modern Turkishurban planning and development legislation gained its real meaning inRepublican Period. Active green area standards in Turkish urbanism have beenused since 1933. Minimum standards foreseen in the legislation are seen to havebeen respected at the beginning during the preparation of Kayseri urban plans.In contrast, the value of active green area observed per person in 2006 as 2.97m2 is in a very low level.In the scope of the research, the active green areavalue per person in Kayseri was determined to be 0.89 m2 in the last years ofthe Ottoman Empire, 1.04 m2 in 1944 which was the end of the first planningperiod, 3.40m2 in 1975 which was the end of second planning period and 1.84m2in 1986 which was the end of third planning period. The last Kayseri urban planthat was examined in this study was the fourth plan and the value of 2.97 m2 ofactive green area per person was encountered in 2006 year which was assumed asthe end of the planning period. In the light of these findings, it can beconcluded that despite the challenging provisions of the urban planninglegislation and the four urban plans implemented in Kayseri, the minimum activegreen field values (10 m2 / person) could not be reached until 2006. After the change ofthe metropolitan area boundary in Kayseri in 2004, the green space potentialwithin the city perimeter was commissioned in the new plans prepared after2006. Year 2025 is targeted in these new plans and assuming that the populationof the city will be 1,700,000, 10 m2 of active green area per person isforeseen to be spared as the minimum level, Buçalışmanın amacı, şehir planlarında önemli bir yere sahip olan aktif yeşilalanlara ilişkin mekânsal standardın Türk imar mevzuatında ve Kayseri şehir planlarındazamansal değişimini incelemektir. Osmanlı’dan günümüze imar mevzuatında aktifyeşil alanlar için ortaya konulan asgari standartlar ile Kayseri’nin 1933,1944, 1975 ve 1986 yıllarında hazırlanan dört şehir planında beklenen değerlerile dönem sonunda gözlenen değerler, betimleyici araştırma yöntemi çerçevesindeele alınmıştır. ModernTürk şehir planlamasında ve imar mevzuatında yeşil alan kavramı, gerçekanlamını Cumhuriyet Dönemi’nde kazanmıştır. Türk şehirciliğinde yeşil alanstandartları ise 1933 yılından beri kullanılmaktadır. Kayseri şehir planlarıhazırlanırken, başlangıçta imar mevzuatında öngörülen asgari standartlarauyulduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Buna karşılık 2006 yılında şehirde gözlenen kişibaşına 2,97 m2 aktif yeşil alan değeri, oldukça düşük bir düzeye işaretetmektedir.Araştırmakapsamında, Kayseri’de kişi başına aktif yeşil alan değeri, Osmanlı’nın sonyıllarında 0,89 m2, birinci plan dönemi sonu olan 1944 yılında 1,04 m2, ikinciplan dönemi sonu olan 1975 yılında 3,40 m2, üçüncü plan dönemi sonu olan 1986yılında 1,84 m2 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada incelenen son Kayserişehir planı ise dördüncü plan olup, dönem sonu olarak 2006 yılı esasalındığında kişi başına 2,97 m2 aktif yeşil alan değeri ile karşılaşılmaktadır.Bu bulgular ışığında, imar mevzuatının 1933 yılından günümüze zorlayıcıhükümlerine ve Kayseri’de uygulamaya geçirilen dört şehir planına rağmen,asgari aktif yeşil alan değerlerine -günümüzde 10 m2/kişi- 2006 yılına kadarulaşılamadığı sonucuna varılmaktadır. Kayseri’demetropoliten alan sınırının 2004 yılında değişmesi ile şehrin çeperlerindekiyeşil alan potansiyeli, 2006 sonrasında hazırlanan yeni planlarda devreyealınmıştır. Bu planlarda 2025 yılı hedeflenmiş olup, şehir nüfusunun 1.700.000olacağı varsayılarak, yine asgari düzeyden hareketle kişi başına 10 m2 aktifyeşil ayrılması öngörülmüştür.

In the study, iIt is aimed toanalyze and evaluate the landscape of the Eskipazar landscape of (KarabükPprovince) in terms of tourism. AroundIn this context, in the first stage ofthe method, natural and cultural landscape values were determined for theresearch subject and area. At this stage, field observations, individualinterviews, literature surveys and data obtained from various maps wereutilized. In the second stage, SWOT analysis was introduced. The strengths andweaknesses and opportunities and threats of the landscape values of Eskipazarin terms of tourism, field studies (one-on-one interviews with local people),interviews with local managers and literature surveys were determined by usingSWOT analysis. The SWOT factors were directed to the local community, visitorsand experts as part of the survey. The responses obtained from local people andvisitors were evaluated through frequency analysis. The opinions of 5 key experts(local managers) on the subject of the research were evaluated using A’wottechnique. With the data collection and analysis, ideas were obtained for thetourism and protection in the field and negative environmental factorsparticulalrly on the, tourism and recreation infrastructure were obtained. Theresults of the analysis were evaluated together at the last stage and solutionswere proposed with under the support of sustainable ecotourism strategies.These proposed strategies will provide the opportunity to use and protect thenatural and cultural landscape values of Eskipazar., Araştırmada,Karabük İli Eskipazar peyzajının turizm açısından analizi ve değerlendirilmesiamaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda yöntemin birinci aşamasında araştırma konusu ilealana yönelik doğal ve kültürel peyzaj değerleri belirlenmiştir. Bu aşamadaalan gözlemleri, bireysel görüşmeler ve literatür taramalarındanyararlanılmıştır. İkinci aşamada GZFT analizi devreye girmiştir. Eskipazar’ınpeyzaj değerlerinin turistik açıdan güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ile fırsat vetehditleri, arazi çalışmaları (yerel halkla yapılan birebir görüşmeler), yerelyöneticilerle yapılan mülakatlar ve literatür taramalarından yararlanılarakhazırlanan GZFT analizi ile tespit edilmiştir. GZFT faktörleri, anketçalışmasının bir parçası olarak yerel halka, ziyaretçilere ve uzmanlarayöneltilmiştir. Yerel halk ve ziyaretçilerden elde edilen yanıtlar, frekansanalizi aracılığıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma konusu ile ilgili 5 adetanahtar kişiden oluşan uzmanların (yerel yönetici) görüşü ise A’wot tekniğikullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Veri toplama ve analizi ile alandaki turizmve korumaya yönelik düşünceler elde edilmiş, olumsuz çevre faktörleri, turistikve rekreasyonel altyapı hakkında da fikir sahibi olunmuştur. Analiz sonuçları,son aşamada birlikte değerlendirilmiş, sürdürülebilir ekoturizm stratejilerinindesteğiyle çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Bu öneri stratejiler, Eskipazar’ındoğal ve kültürel peyzaj değerlerinin koruyarak kullanımına fırsat sunacaktır.
